Merry Christmas!
Hi! Merry Christmas everyone! I have to say, Christmas is always the best day of the year for me. And now that I'm all stuffed with good food, and have unwrapped my amazing gifts, I just have to take the time to say "Merry Christmas" to my otaku friends. So, I hope you had a good one! If it was anything like mine, it was awesome. In the spirit of the season, I have also posted some semi-Christmas-themed art. They're all pictures I drew for friends and family as part of their gifts. So, I hope you can enjoy them as well.
Anyway, Merry Christmas and God bless!

Fruits Basket!
O mah gawsh! I just finished reading the Fruits Basket manga. It. Is. Sooo. Good. I'm just despairing right now because of the fact that there isn't anymore for me to read... waahh...
Anyway, I don't usually post with praise for any particular series, but this one just impressed me so much, and I'm kind of going through withdrawl right now, so I guess this is a good way to cope. (Wah, addicted to Fruits Basket >_< )
It's definitely a series that anyone who's into Shoujo should read. It's a must, actually. REALLY great story, and REALLY well told and beautifully illustrated. The art actually evolves a LOT from the beginning to the end, which is really nice to see. And the characters are just so REAL. They're really lovable, and they also evolve a lot during the series. You go on a JOURNEY with them, man. (heh heh) You just grow to love them very dearly. ^_^
Anyway, I'm planning on watching the anime now (which only goes up to vol. 8?). I feel a little behind the times, 'cause pretty much everyone seems to have seen it already... But I'm glad that I decided to read the manga first.
So, anyone have any comments on the Fruits Basket manga or anime?
(I definately plan on doing some Fruits Basket fanart. *has crazy gleam in eyes*)

100 votes
Hey! I made it to 100 votes on my fanart. Thanks to everyone who voted for my art! I means a lot to know that people appriciate it.
Seeing as it's summer now and everything, I've really gotten into the lazy-days routine, but I'm hoping to get into another watercolour project soon.
Thanks again! ^_^

Gah! Tornado!
So, Manitoba (where I live) is not usually subject to twisters, but we were lucky enough to play host to one just yesterday. It happened just west of Winnipeg (once again, where I live) and 4 homes were demolished. 2 semi-trailers were also flipped. Ha ha, what fun... Luckily, no one was injured.
The tornado was rated F-3, which means absolutely nothing to me, but apparently it's pretty strong. Thunder storms were forecasted for my area, but we barely saw any rain. The weather has been rather strange lately, though. I took this picture yesterday evening. The other half of the sky was rather stormy looking, but it passed us over.
(I think this picture is really cool. ^_^ You could even see a vapour trail from a jet going through it.)

Art Updates!
Hello! I havn't posted anything for a pretty long time (I guess I'm not great at keeping blogs), but since it's going to be summer holidays I've found renewed motivation to update my fanart and blog.
Anyway, the stuff I've been putting up lately has been of a lot better quality (probably because lots of them were assignments for school...), so please don't hesitate to go check it out (and vote/favourite/comment, you know, if you want to ;) I love getting feedback).
Anyway, I'm planning on doing a lot of art this summer, so you can look forward to it. ^_^
