Anime club
Well first of all I'm going to put the date it is here:
Saturday March 5th
This is because this post won't make much sense if I don't. Anyway, last night my anime club met for the first time this year. we watched some interesting Animes. These animes were:
Samurai Champloo
Beck
Kannazuki no Miko
Yakitate!! Japan!
Kurau: Phantom Memory.
I doubt anyone has heard of these as I hadn't and they were probably downloaded from the net. The were great with some excellent comedy.
Anyway sorry if I can't visit your sites. |

AHHHH! I'm missing Episodes
Well this is not what my original post was going to be about, but after finding this out I believe it to be the more important of the two topics.
It's official, I've been missing Yu-gi-Oh episodes. My sister didn't tell me until yesterday that they had been showing. WHat's worse is that they are finally showing the enter the shadow realm series and I am now way behind. It annoys me so much. I can't even go back and watch the old eps because it's going to be ages beforethey repeat them. |

One of my two most recent poems. The other isn't finished.
Insomnia:
Sleep.
The final cleansing of man,
A person's ultimate repentance to their God.
In life we do not sleep,
Instead we rest, only to be reawaken.
How is it that we all believe,
Trust that sleep is a semiconcious state.
True understanding is never found,
Until absolute sleep has been achieved.
But we can all be deemed Insomniacs,
As true sleep only comes in death. |

short entry
Well today and this whole weekend has been pretty lazy for me. The only interesting thing that I've done is see "House of Flying Daggers". This is by the same guy who did Hero, what I believe to be one of the greats.
Now House of Flying Daggers isn't as good as Hero but it is still a great film. I recommend it to everyone.
I apologize for not visiting people's sites as I have little time on. |

300 visits
Well I've finally hit 300 visits. Thanks to all those who have visited my site once, and hugs to those who have visited more.
ANyway onto my real post. I've recently been downloading music from Videogames and Anime. The current songs I have are:
Emerald Green - .Hack//legend of the twilight
New World - .Hack//Legend of the twilight
Inner Universe - Ghost in the shell: Stand Alone complex
1000 words - FFX-2
Simple and Clean - Kingdom Hearts.
anyway I'm currently downloading another song from .Hack and I was thinking of what else I could download. So I put this question to you guys.
What ANime theme songs should I download? Can you give me the song name as well It would make it so much easier. |

An old poem but rearranged to sound better
And So Goes Life:
And so life goes on
Birth the beginning of everything
The joy of the new parents
Is matched by no other thing
And relief that all is as it should
But the child's tears
Signs of pain and hurt in following years
And so life goes on
The knowledge becomes too much
The strain wrenches one back and forth
But rather than be consumed by one
It is devoured by all
Not just staying with one
Instead passing down through generations
Ans so life goes on
After death we are no more
But those we know still live
To continue through the complexities
The tribulations that make up a being
The ones dead and buried
To be remembered as an afterthought |

Back to School
Well Unofficially I started University today. Unofficially because it is O week or Orientation week. I don't have any actual classes until next monday. Anyway they had club sign up today and I signed up for the Duff (deakin university froth fermenters) club and the anime club. Deakin is the university I'm at. If you haven't guessed the Duff club revolves around beer and parties.
Apart from that not much else to say. I'll try and get around to everyone's site. C ya.

Interesting novels
Well recently I have obtained the books I need for my Literary Studies course that I wil be starting on the 28th. Some of these novels are very unusual yet also very interesting.
The first is a book called, "Car Maintenance, Explosives and Love and other contemporary Lesbian writings." It is full of short stories, poetry, and a couple of plays by Lesbian writers. It is actually quite interesting to read.
The second book which I'm in the middle of reading is called "Disgrace". It is an unusual story as it focuses on a father and daughter who are both disgraced in very different ways and how that disgrace affects them.
So my question to you in relation to these novels is what is the most interesting novel you have read? |

Happy Valentine's Day
It is officially the 14th of Feb here though the post is said to be done on the 13th. The heading is one of the rare occasions where you will actually here me say those words. That's because over the last six years or so, possibly less, I've always been alone on Valentine's Day. No one to share it with. So for me it comes as a very depressing day. A reminder that I don't have a gf.
On to other stuff. I've recently been playing Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on GBA and I would have to say it is awesome. I recommend it to anyone who played the original PS2 game. I also suggest playing it if you want to get the sequel. This is because Chain of Memories gives a kind of backstory to the guys in blackrobes that are shown in the KH2 videoclips. |
