Bleach
Ok I promised a synopsis a while back so here's one I posted on another site:

There are two types of spirits in the world, Hollows and pluses. A plus is a spirit of a regular person who is still attached in some way to the world, where as a hollow is an evil spirit who has been formed by a plus who is too conected to the world(i.e. through memories.). There are also Death Gods whose job is to kill Hollows and return Pluses to Soul Society(their Heaven).

Now the main story revolves around a teenage boy, Kurosaki Ichigo, who has a strong Spirit Force. Due to this spirit force he is being hunted by Hollows. Due to this spirit force he can see Pluses, Hollows and Death Gods. And this is how he meets Kuchiki Rukia, a death God. As she is injured protecting him he takes some of her power(or all of it to be more exact) and becomes a temporary death God.

It's pretty bad but I hope ya get the idea.
