Shameless Self Plug
Hey, I don't know if any of you guys read fanfiction, but I've got a few stories up on ff.net... and I heart reviews. I even have a little drabble thing inspired by my latest picture, Sesshoumaru's Day Off.
Check me out here: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/147025/

FMA Movie
WARNING: SPOILERS
So I FINALLY just finished watching the FMA movie. I've been waiting to watch it for forever, but couldn't find it for download.
All things considered, it was pretty good. I mean, as far as storyline and such, I think it was excellent. It could have had a happier ending, but I wasn't expecting much. I think so long as Ed and Al were alive, no matter what else happened, I would have been happy. Except if Al lost his body again... that would have just sucked. It'd be like ending where they started.
Anyways, I've heard a lot about "I can't believe they just forgot Winry," but, you know, I think she's used to it by now. I know that sounds kind of awful, but I never really thought she and Ed were going to get together anyways. She's obviously had a crush on him for forever... but I don't know if he's ever seemed to like her more than as the little sister he grew up with. Besides, if they DID get together, I think she'd just still be playing in the background, his personal automail mechanic, continually worried about him. In other words, doing the same stuff she's done since she was a child. It was time for her to get her own life without Ed. I think it was pretty significant how she said "He's not letting me wait for him anymore." (Or something like that.) She was pretty much saying that she never really expected him to stay for her.
Yeah, it's really sad that she'll never see him and Al again, but... I don't know. It's not as sad as it could have been. This was just one of those animes you hung on, and considered yourself lucky if the main characters didn't die.
Noah was an interesting character, (though Noah is a freaking AWFUL name for a girl) and I was glad Ed didn't leave her behind after all. For one reason, had she stayed in Germany, she probably would have gotten rounded up for concentration camps in a few years. Romance between her and Ed? It's possible. I also think it's more possible that she'll just return to her wandering, while Ed and Al continue their crazy little adventures on their own. You know, people to save, bombs to destroy... Ed's gonna need a few more years before he settles. He's just got so much "hero" in his blood he needs to get out.
I also found the historical connections made, with Hitler and such (though I was all like "nuuuuu! Hughes is a Nazi! ;_;" for a while).
That's another reason I kind of like that Ed and Al are in the "other world." You still get to see the people that died in their world. Or at least their doubles.
And it was time for Ed and Al to move beyond alchemy. It was already linked to so much that had gone wrong in their lives. Plus, Ed had already mastered it by the time he was fifteen. Time to move onto things more challenging. Like living without alchemy.
So... yeah. Good movie.

Okay, so a "few weeks" turned into a few months. So sue me for being busy. And lazy.
I still haven't posted anything new, though I did put up a Ranma wallpaper back in December, and I changed my profile a bit, if that's worth anything.

Sorry I've been lacking in the "updates" department. I got a new job (I'm working at GAP) and between that and school I haven't had a day off in a couple of weeks. Midterms are finally over, but I have a few papers due, and my work schedule for next week doesn't look any more promising, so it might be another few weeks before I get anything done.

Clearing things up
Since I got rid of the pictures that were being plagiarized from me and my friends (the girl had actually made two accounts that she was submitting things in) I've gotten a couple of reports on ME that I've been plagiarizing pictures from www.artofprocrastination.com
I suspect it was the girl I deleted the pictures for, but in case it wasn't, let me clear things up for whoever did report them. Artofprocrastination.com is my site. Designed and paid for by my best friend, I help her maintain it and submit quite a lot of the stuff on there. Naoko from there and Megumi from here are the same person. End of story.
So to prevent further confusion, I also have a deviantart account (http://insertrandomnamehere.deviantart.com) and a Gaia account (Eliana).
I think that should do it.

It's actually kind of amusing to find out someone has plagiarized you. Especially when you're a moderator, and have the power to take care of it. So far I've seen two greetings, one wallpaper, and one piece of artwork of mine plagiarized. In some ways, I'm almost flattered.
