Put one more wallpaper and a few more greetings up. I must admit, I'm running out of pictures to use for these things. ^_^; It's because I haven't had a scanner lately to scan my drawings, but I still like to post things.
And thanks to everyone who left comments and stuff on my submissions. I really enjoy reading them.

Hurricane Frances's anticlimatic end
Just letting everyone know that I survived the hurricane. ^_^ It was almost disappointing how weak it was when it finally got here. It wasn't a hurricane anymore, really. It was more like a windy rainstorm. Believe me, I'm not complaining. I've seen enough of what even a category one or two hurricane can do. It's just there was so much hype, and everyone prepared so much... it's pretty ironic, ne?

Another day, another hurricane
Another hurricane seems to be headed straight for my hometown. And there's another out in the Atlantic right now which could possibly follow the same path. This is getting pretty tiresome. I mean, they just keep ruining my weekends. I can't wait until this whole hurricane season thing is over.

Layout
As I'm sure you've probably noticed, I changed my layout quite a bit. I like it a LOT better now. The whole pink and purple thing was never really me anyways. Red has always been my favorite color, and Megumi of course has always been a favorite anime character, so it works now. I'm quite happy with it. ^_^ I only wish my pretty background picture (I originally made it for my xanga site, which is in practically the same style) showed up more.
Anyways, I have nothing else to say now. I feel dumb. ;_;

College kid!
Yay! Classes have started, and I am officially a college student. Scary. o.o
So, I'm liking my classes so far... but I was a little disappointed. It seems a lot like high school right now. Of course, I took a lot of AP classes in high school, so it probably was more like college than most high schools were, and I'm commuting, and I guess dorm life is a big part of the whole college experience, but still... I was expecting my classes to be, I dunno, more stimulating? I mean, yeah, they look like they're going to be difficult, some of them, but it's not exactly what I was expecting. What I was expecting, I don't know.
I'm enjoying myself though. I've made two new friends already, and a few aquaintances. My classes seem fairly interesting, though my Shakespeare teacher is crazy. And my math class is a joke. Doesn't take roll, doesn't collect homework, teaches right out of the book, and he gives four tests, and drops the lowest one. That and our final consist of our entire grade. Not to mention I already learned 90% of this stuff in high school.
Beginning drawing seems interesting enough. We're using lots of charcoal though, which I don't like. It's frickin hard to do any kind of detail with that stuff. Gah.
My honors classes are pretty cool, too. The Philosophy class has seemed surprisingly fun so far. And Arts and Humanities I only have mondays, and this monday our class lasted a whole half hour (out of the two it was supposed to be), of which I was ten minutes late (traffic is HORRIBLE), so I didn't have much to build on. But it sounds interesting.
So that's about it. Yay for college.

Hurricane Charley
I was right smack in the middle of Hurricane Charley. It was pretty crazy. We left our house because it was supposed to hit our town dead on, but the stupid thing just followed us right to the other side of the state. We were on the fifth floor of a hotel, with the electricity off, a puddle growing around the door as the window vibrated with the wind (the room next door's window broke, we were lucky that ours didn't) and water shooting in from the cracks of the door. Pretty scary business. We were on the top floor so we could hear the shingles being ripped off too.
Anyways, now that I've lived through a hurricane, it makes everything else in life a little less scary. Like, the fact that I'm starting college next week.

Arggh!
I just finished the end of Wolf's Rain. Why have all the anime endings I've seen lately been so unsatisfying?

More boring art talk (I need a life)
Yeah, so I've been on this paint shop spree, and I dunno when it'll end. Probably pretty soon, since whenever I recognize I'm on a spree it ruins it somehow, but until then, I'm going back and CGing old pics. I don't get access to a scanner that often, so sorry there's not going to be too many new things, but hopefully some remakes of old ones.

Updating for the sake of updating
I haven't written anything in forever... Well, I've put a few more pics up. Nothing much- I've been pretty busy.
