Am I wrong?
Am I wrong in finding pictures that portray naked women, who certainly look like they're orgasming, and pictures of young boys doing sexual acts very offensive? I mean, yeah, I know some people like looking at that stuff... but it disturbs me. Don't I have a right to say I don't like that? I mean, there has to be SOME line drawn before people start posting full out hentai. It's so... demeaning... to anime, to art, that it has to stoop to portraying sex in order to catch interest. It's like television, books, advertising... sex is the only thing that sells anymore. It saddens me.

Don't the 10 year olds (and don't tell me there aren't any) who visit this site entitled to the right to be able to go to this site and be protected against these sorts of things? I mean, it's why they got rid of NC-17 stories on fanfiction.net, why go-gaia doesn't allow cybering in the forums, even in specifically labeled threads. It's just common courtesy, why don't people see that?

And yet I still get called narrow minded.

I hate people.

Greeting cards
Well, I looked at the greeting card section today, and imagine my surprise when I saw that my Full Metal Panic Valentine's card is (at the moment) the most popular out of all of them. I'm so proud! Sure, I know there's not that many cards yet, and I'm not likely to keep my top ranking for very long, but it feels good while it lasts. ^_^ Especially since I never make the top anything else here.

I've started updating again, but I'm afraid since I don't have a scanner, I've been using a digital camera, and in order to get a clear picture on that thing I have to up the contrast so much that the paper looks shadowed and funny. It makes the pictures look like crap, but I suppose it's better than nothing.

I just watched four DVDs of Full Metal Panic and the second Harry Potter movie without stopping... I think my eyes will never quite be able to focus on anything again.

But it was worth it. I love Full Metal Panic now, and I had read the first three Harry Potter books when they first came out, but never watched the movies until lately. I think they did a pretty good job on them.

Yeah... i probably should get SOME sleep, considering it's 3 AM.

Woo! New picture.
Sorry for the non-updating of art on my part, the scanner at school I normally use has been broken. Well, actually, the computer it's connected to is broken, and getting anyone to do anything about the computers at my school is virtually impossible. The media specialists say to go talk to the computer specialist, who is never in her office, so the media people say to come back later, but I can only come at lunch. And they never pass along a message to her either.

Anyways, enough with the ranting. I did post one picture, being my first done on paint shop without an already drawn and scanned guideline, I'm pretty proud of it. I think the fairies are cute, though I originally wanted to put faces and more detail on them, but with just a mouse it's pretty impossible. The writing took me FOREVER. I need a tablet. ;_; Anyone know how much they usually cost/where to get one/good brand?
