DIRU NEWS!!!
Konnichiwa!
Current Mood: Excited
Current Song: The Deeper Vileness by Dir en grey (sample)
I HAVE DIR EN GREY NEWS, MY FRIENDS!!! As I'm sure you all know, DIRU is coming out with a new album on February 7 titled "The Marrow of a Bone." But now I, Momo, bring you the track listing, American release date, and more news. Prepare yourselves!!! For the track list of "The Marrow of a Bone":
1. Conceived Sorrow
2. Lie Buried With a Vengeance
3. The Fatal Believer
4. Agitated Screams of Maggots
5. Grief
6. Ryoujoku no Ame
7. Disabled Complexes
8. Rotting Root
9. Namamekashiki Ansoku, Tamerai ni Hohoemi
10. The Pledge
11. Repetition of Hatred
12. The Deeper Vileness
13. Clever Sleazoid
As you can see, all of their releases since "Withering to Death" are on the CD. You can now listen to samples of "The Fatal Believer", "Disabled Complexes", and "The Deep Vileness" on their official website (direngrey.co.jp). The album will be released in America on February 20, so save up your money!!! There's a re-recording of "Clever Sleazoid", so don't expect the same version. There will also be an alternate version of the album, but I'm not sure if it will be available in America (limited edition has different versions of "Namamekashiki Ansoku, Tamerai ni Hohoemi", "Conceived Sorrow", and "The Pledge" on a seperate disk). So far there have been no songwriting credits or track lengths. :(
This is the cover of the main version of "The Marrow of a Bone"...
And this is the alternative/limited edition cover.
Just from the singles they've released and the samples of the new songs, you can tell that they're playing with a different sound (ESPECIALLY with "Disabled Complexes"). If I had to judge how "different" it sounds from their earlier days (in my mind, "earlier" means the "VULGAR" era), I'd say it's a cross between "Ryoujoku no Ame" and "Clever Sleazoid." It still retains some of it's authentic DIRU sound, but it still differs. Either way, I can't wait to hear what they have in store for all of us. :3
BTW, I got this information from Wikipedia, so don't go suing me or anything. XD Mata ne~!!!
