Well, here's a couple of new poems. Enjoy!!

"Love Me"

"But I love you."
Yeah? Prove it.
You say you love me,
But you're wasting your breath.
I know what you want.
You kill me, baby.
You kill me with your words.
Stab me with that lie,
Pierce my heart,
Let me bleed to death,
Watch me fade.
Smile when you do it,
Smile so I can die in self-derision.
Once I've died to you,
Once I've given myself up,
Bury me with your goodbye,
Because you love me.

"Escape"

I see those waves,
Frothing, foaming,
Rolling in,
Crystal purity.
They lick around my ankles,
Calm breeze blowing my hair,
Cool waters drowning my fears.
I venture further,
Deeper into that cerulean abyss,
My reality fades away,
I'm lost to Fantasy.
I slowly slip under,
Giving way to that ethereal world,
Delving into my paradise,
Letting go of all senses,
Mixing rhyme and reason.
I feel the freedom for which I long.
But that beautiful world within ours,
It grows dim,
My lungs start to burn,
The air replaced by liquid fire.
That surreal paradise becomes a nightmare.
As I come crashing through the surface,
Gulping in sweet oxygen,
I realize I can't escape.
