 Gah.. exhausted again..
I am just so not designed to handle little kids that are only up to my waist in height. And hell if I know how old they are, someone said 3 but I dunno.. that seems rather doubtful but then again, I can't even tell if a person is within the same age group of me anymore.
An ugly duckling. You'd like to think it's relevant to my post but it isn't. Really.
By now I'm guessing you're pretty lost as to my point, fine I'll start again.
Somehow I got wrangled by my own flesh and blood (mum) into volunteering at the Tzu Chi Bhuddist place to be a teacher aid for some Chinese little kids which speak a variety of differing Chinese dialects. How I could be helpful was rather useless since most spoke Mandarin and English, whereas I spoke Cantonese and English but one of the mysterious set of class rules is "No speaking English in class."
There were 12 kids there and during the story time I helped to coax some of the kids to the floor. I can't remember any of their names for the love of my life but I think one had a name that translated into Little-Sweat. He was no problem, in fact the most artistic one I could see as he could colour in the lines while still using crayons, that takes real talent.
Some other random in Red, wouldn't let go of my hand until I sat down with him and then he just leaned on me quite leisurely and tried to mould me into a comfortable shape as you would a bean-bag.
The girl in Pink wouldn't sit still at all for the entire 2hrs, never listened to the teacher and constantly told me she liked pink then complained that some of the colours were boy colours then coloured in the picture of the boy, pink.
Personally I had a certain fondness for the kid with a gelled up punk hair-do, which was rather dashing and wild of him. He's gonna be a real player one day : /
Little kids are tiring, does someone want to go with me next time as back-up? |

Candy Floss
Unfortunately the website wouldn't load for me so I couldn't hijack any pictures of this wonderful candy I've discovered. Not to mention I don't have a scanner which also negates anything else that's possibly possible.
So we all know what candy floss is right? No? I'll draw a picture.
Anyway, the pink stuff in the centre vaguely resembles your typical candy floss, pink, fluffy, sugary and generally a physical impossibility if it didn't already exist.
How can you possibly have sugar in a cloudy shape? It just isn't possible!
So, the purple and green are symbolic representations of the other two kinds of candy floss I have tried from Japan no-less. All of which are encased in a foil seal attractively colourful packet that has a strange cartoon on the back with people sitting in and commenting on the softness of said candy floss.
The purple is grape flavoured embedded with pop-rocks. Yea, so when you eat it, it tastes of grape candy floss but crackles of pop rocks. Brilliant.
The green can only be described as another impossibly ingenious creation. Green apple flavoured candy floss chewing gum. It's candy floss that turns into chewing gum while you eat it ^_^
And I have yet to try the blue packet. The news on that shall be saved for another day. |

Peer Support
So, I went to school today to do something called peer support training. Basically it's to prepare me for next year where I will be helping the new 3rd formers to our school settle in.
It was tedious.. with all those 'cheezy' group activities and getting to know each other.
*shudder* the worst part was shaking the hands of about 30 people which went from: hot, wet, cold, soft, dry, clammy, grabby, slappy etc. etc.
ARgh!! And tomorrow.. damn them, damn the broccoli. They want us to be at school by 8am! 8am!! School doesn't even normally start until 9am ;-; I spend over an hour trying to get to school in the morning and they change the meeting time to 8am, an entire hour earlier than before.
Once again, damn them, damn the broccoli.

Yellow
Played laser force today, and well.. that's the first time I remember sweating so much ^^"
It was fun. I must say I did really quite well, top scorer and second to top scorer in my team. However the rest of my team kinda sucked so we lost both times.
I'm so tired. I forgot what I was going to say...
Was I going to ask something?
Or.. were you???

I thought holidays are relaxing
I finished my exams last Thursday. And what did I do during that time rather than update here?
Thursday: (6pm - 9am) I was at my friends 17th birthday party and got slightly trashed.
Wednesday: (3pm - 11pm) I was at a farewell party and was incredibly bored. The fireworks should've been fun if:
1.I hadn't remembered they're illegal to set off at this time of year.
2.The guys weren't shooting each other with roman candles (funny but not cool since I just didn't want to be in the line of fire)
3.The wind wasn't enough to numb my face into some achy something.
4.I wasn't still feeling so funked from the party the night before.
5.The other girls stopped screaming.
But still, it was funny and I think one of the guys managed to burn himself holding one of the fireworks : /
Unfortunately last night I had panda eyes, the unfortunate bit is that they just don't look very attractive on me.
Oh, and one more thing.
I didn't get selected to be a Prefect next year. *sigh* I wasn't expecting to be though. |

And then... there was silence
So I'm done whining about my hand ^^" considering all it does is ache but I'll deal until the holidays start.
Silly thing happened during my 3 hour exam this morning. I fell alseep :P I finished agonizingly slowly within the first hour and rested my head to consider some of my answers and thus fell asleep for about half an hour.. strange.. but refreshing. The only reason I woke up was because some people decided they wanted to leave early.

Oh oooh!! Have any of you heard that new song Do They Know it's Christmas? The new song put together by a large bunch of famous artists to raise funds for Band Aid.. hm.. I heard it this morning and it's very very "interesting". I think it's funny how the soloists typically sound good on their own but with more than half a dozen of them singing together.. hahahaha...
It was rather discordant and sounded like an amateur choir where everyone just yells as loudly as possible. well.. just the ending anyway. But at least it's for a good cause ^_^

I got a free Starcraft poster (which reminds me, where did I put it? ^__^ but I couldn't get the Zealot model because they were sold out and they're no longer in production :(

Bend and Snap?
Sounds like something you'd do to a glow stick not something you'd do in a beauty parlour. And certainly not a viable move to pick up guys *rolls eyes* there are much more effect and less visually disturbing ways than dropping an object, sweepingly bend over to pick it up only to quickly snap yourself into an upright position to which you simultaneously hold your hands like hawk claws growing out of your breasts... *gasp*

The first Legally Blonde is definitely a better movie than the second. Thank Someone I didn't have to pay to see either ^_~
I wasn't going to update today because I did what I did yesterday and the day before and before etc. etc. which was stay home do nothing. However I just wanted to say something quite funny, at least for me :P
I told my friend I got some film developed which had her in it looking quite natural and unposed in a few of them. Now if you haven't realized I'm a fan of unposed photos because people generally look a lot better due to some refraction of light in the atmosphere reflecting down into plants for photosynthesis which in turn is eaten by parasites which we breathe in via the air.
So I told her.
And she freaked telling me not to show anyone else before her X^D and I basically asked her why not..?
She said I could use it to blackmail her if I don't show anyone else.. hahahaha
Why didn't I think of that?
Sorry if some of my sentences are long but I guess that's just my style ^_~

Everyday's a Saturday
Except for the day of examinations and the day before when I'll be cramming ^_^
I don't have much of interest to say about another fascinating day spent at home so.. I'll just rant about something else.
Okay, so I was thinking about the entire popularity ranking thing.. because I hadn't actually thought about it even though I've heard quite a few complaints about it. I realized, that I'm not even in the top 500.. I'm about 40something places off but that's beside the point.
It occured to me. A lot of those people are up there not just because of cool blogs (putting aside the rubbishy ones), it's because they submit fan art and what not!

What a revelation! I'm stunned, and stupified.
Then I realized I have a number of problems that I've probably mentioned and bored people with before.
1. I don't have a scanner, but I can get around that problem.
2. How do I get webspace?
3. If there ever was 3 then I've forgotten what it was.
I'll talk about my other stunning revelation tomorrow since I really try to stick to one topic at a time. No sense blogging too much for people to think about it.
