I'm naked and happy.
... seriously, the short painted one is me.
The fiery orange dude is a really hot gay guy in my class :P And the taller girl is another classmate.
Ah, the fun the fun of stripping in front of a room full of strangers then walking out in front of a massive audience to help raise money for charity. Altruism at it's finest.
I hope I find everyone good, I'll be going away to Sydney this weekend and won't be back til the weekend after. So I'll try make a few visits and what-not.

I'm a witch!!
I dressed up as a witch again this year to greet my trick or treaters (which is really the ball dress I wore when I was 16 and a paper witch hat I made the other year). I had some "homies" (after asking them why they weren't dressed up) and a fairy and some miscellaneous ghouls I think. I dunno the fairy was too cute. I've gone all mushy >_>
Anyway, photobucket is my friend!! So here are some of the cosplayers from Armageddon.
No doubt most are recognizable.
PS: Thank you M.O, I didn't think it was a very good photo of me but I figured, I may as well go au naturale :P
Actually that reminds me of the time, not too long ago, mayhaps a month, no more than two... I walked down a catwalk with nothing more than a g-string and paint on in the name of ART (and charity). I'll post a couple if no one is too afraid of seeing my psuedo-nekkidness ^^ |

I don't care it's nice.
Oh, I know it's been awhile but so much excitement!
My birthday has just come and gone, I am now going to have to tell people I'm 19 when they ask >_> Old age is setting in! Haha, I'm kidding. I'm an odd ball that'll never really grow up much.
I was at Armageddon the Pulp Culture Expo which covers a bit of everything from Sci-fi, fantasty, anime, comics, movies, games, and wrestling even! So just because I know people here love it I've got a few pictures from it because there were so many this year. Mainly cosplayers of course :P
*very long pause later*
Okay, mayhaps another time with the photos, since Photobucket is being difficult. Moving along with the programme...
Then of course there's the big deal of me just finishing my diploma of Production Design and Scuulpting Level 5 aka SFX make up ^^.
I also spent the past weekend at Waiheke island and believe me that place is gorgeous!!!! Personally I couldn't live there because it's too quiet and the entire semi-roughing deal (tank water, not plumbing) is a little too much for me. But it's beautiful.
I'll leave you with a few photos with captions since I've been sleeping most of the afternoon since I got back and making conversation is rather difficult at the moment.
Good old Rangitoto island. I now dormant volcano and extremely well protected by conservationalists. Note how green it is!
My partner and I chilling at the beach. In fact I was freezing having stolen a jacket and blazer from various people to stay warm. And strategically sitting next to Ryan so he could block more of the wind for me :P

AHHH!!! You can hit me but...

Notthefacenotthefacenotthefacenottheface!!! I'm sorry!! I swear I never meant to drop off the face of the MyO earth like that.
I can't promise regular updates or visits for that matter, but I'm on holiday and so --- I have nothing. No excuses to offer anyone.
What happened since November 4th of 2005?
Here's a quick summary in semi-chronological order:
-I had exams to pass so I could qualify for University entrance.
-The day I finished my exams I started a new job, working in a gaming store which also sold anime and wrestling DVDs.
-I decided not to go to University and instead took a course in Special Effects Make-up.(No I don't know how to make people look pretty)
-Got my first piercing ever. I am now the proud owner of a tongue stud.
-For the first time in the 18 years of my life I went out late to town to go clubbing, drinking and admittedly picked up a hot guy for the solely superficial reason of "because I can." In my defense I've still and never intend on having one night stands.
-For the first time in the 18 years of my life, I asked a guy out. With the same guy we celebrated our 6 month anniversary 2 weeks ago where I got wined and dined (for roughly NZ$130 which I think is about US$250 by my estimations...) He also brought me a white gold necklace. I don't want to know how much that cost. Then we finished it with a bang, as in some ass drove into the side of the car when we headed home. For about a week and a half I needed a neck brace and my boy's car is still in the garage.
-I went to my first rock concerts ever, Disturbed and KoRn. They were the flipping shiznit!!!!!!!!!!! Along those lines I went to my first rave ever too and uh *coughs*got completely and wasted off my face*coughs* I won't go into detail but that night I managed to get a chick's number while still going out with aforementioned boyfriend at the time >_>
-I quit job at gaming store because of stress. I studied Mon-Fri from 9:30am-4:30pm. Didn't normally get home til 6pm. But then I had to work til 9pm on Thursdays and Fridays and then all day Saturdays. I think after 3 mental break downs later (each progressively worse than the other) I realized I couldn't work those hours and study at the sametime.
-Got my ears pierced last week and plan on doing one more in my left.. then a belly button piercing. I swear that's all I plan on doing piercing wise ^^"
And there you have it. My brief is always wordy but that's really the gist of the main happenings in my life since then.
Now what am I doing? I'm getting addicted to games again (i.e X-men Rise of Apocalypse and Escape Velocity Override and Metroid Prime Hunters and Pokemon Yellow/Red/Blue) and just finished watching Burst Angel and plan on finishing/starting GITS:Stand Alone Complex and Spawn and Trigun and Excel Saga and FMA and Mezzo Forte and New Fist of the North Star.
...
I feel swamped.
By the way, if anyone is heading to Syndey, Australia in November... let me know because I maybe going there for a week of sightseeing :P may as well see some old online friends :P |

 Guess who's making a guest appearance?????
ME!!!!!
That's right, a cameo on my on MyO. It has been quite sometime since I've felt like sitting down to type anything substantial.
The thing is next week Wednesday is my last official day of highschool before they let us off for exams. That's right, I'm moving up in the world and now I have to make the all important decision of what and where I want to go for my tertiary education. I suppose the interesting thing about that is that for the past two years I've been meaning to do a Bsc major in Psych... but now that I think about it.. I don't really want to sit in lectures, take notes and write essays and what-not. Not because I'm that lazy mind you, just because it'll be just like a repeat of highschool on a massive scale.
I think..
I'm going to do..
a course in..
production design and sculpting.
Or put simply, special effects make-up. Now does that not sound fun or what? Except that it throws out my last 3 years of schooling since I didn't take any art subjects aside from graphics two years ago.

Moving along I recently turned 18 way back on the 23rd of October :P and man do I have the coolest friends. I got two wicked albums, Gorillaz: Demon Days and Jamiroquai: Dynamite.
They rock and groove my groove pants ^_~
I also got a bouquet of lolly pops, paint, jewllery and the like.
Now that I'm 18 I can go out and buy me some alcohol and cigarettes. I have absolutely no plans on doing the latter and as for the former? Uh, maybe I'll have to split the drink with a friend since I really can't hold my liquor.

Tomorrow night is Guy Fawkes.
What is that, I imagine people might be thinking or asking the computer screen, Guy Fawkes?
It's a day of some vague historical significance to us that causes about 500 fires across half the country in one night as people celebrate by setting off fireworks. I'm not setting any off since I have a jolly big window and can watch everyone elses. Besides, I'm suppose to be studying : / |

OH MY FLIPPING ... AAAhh..
okay, somewhere between the last time I posted and today I just watched all 50 episodes of Gundam Seed and the last 3 hours of it were the most tense in my entire life.
A part of me died along with the ending and some of my favourite characters T_T
Best anime I've seen since Ghost in the Shell and I never got the chance to really watch that.
Anyway, I've been quite inconsiderate lately. I actually lost my job almost a month ago but that was NOT MY FAULT. The company went into receivership and so all employees had to be let go.
So sad, all my games gone. Anime, gone.. other stuff.. gone.
But whatever, i guess I'll get a new job again right after my final and most important exams of the year.
Yes, that was the other reason I haven't been around. Exams and I actually studied!!!

Wow, I really haven't been here in aaaaaaaaages ^^"
Sorry, after work and stuff I tend to just vege out. It's not difficult though, except that I stand for long hours but get regular breaks :3 although today I totally scored big time and got 3 packets of e-reader cards for $1 each and an e-reader for $10 (NZ$ mind you)
So now I have massive piles of e-reader cards I can use with my GBA SP XD
I've even got some classic games like Donkey Kong Jr from back in the original nintendo days and even a Game and Watch one ^____^
It's awesome, I spend all day surrounded by games, anime, manga and movies plus I get to "borrow" them when I like :P |

 Hmmm.... the first day huh?
Man, working.. I spent 9 hours on my feet helping the store with the major sale going on. The place was haemorraging DVDs and games all over the place and I found myself seriously hard pressed to find display places for all of it ^^
I met some of my co-workers and it seems that I'm the only girl on the team but no matter.. they were all great people. Really fun lot and I got to work the till as well ^^"
But really.. I'm really going to have to brush up on my latest games ie. xbox, play station and game cube not to mention all the anime they have. And movies in general.
Anyway, just so you guys know, I'm sorry I won't be visiting tomorrow because I'm going to the ball ^____^
I have such pretty new shoes. |
