aaaaaahhhhh~
I just got back from staying the night at my friends place, just to be in her outdoor spa.
mmmmmmmm, I looove the spa.
Plus we watched "The Pianist" and it's really quite good, I absolutely fell in love with the piano playing;)
We also watched, "8 Mile" which was...eh...
Then some of a...er... 'interesting' musical called "Joseph". Sorta gave up after seeing the first 10mins.

OOOh, and it's sooooo adorable. My ball partner wants to wear his angel wings.
I mean. ANGEL WINGS!! I'm sorta wearing a funky black dress, I think the contrast will be interesting.
hahaha, and he was asking me if he could "Please" wear them. He was being so cute, I would've said yes anyway.
Seriously though, this guy can so talk my ear off. For the hour long phone conversation I think he must've dominated about 50 of those minutes =/ I don't mind listening, but being a typical kiwi guy they're the fastest speakers of English in the world. It's a scientifically proven fact. I think next was the Americans, then British and the slowest was the Australians (and by Diablo, do I hate the Aussie accent, it's terribly annoying).
It was a bit frustrating since if I lost concentration for just a moment (unfortunately it happened a few times) he'd still be talking extraordinarily fast and then I'd miss the point of what he was saying. And go into my usual phase of saying ambiguous answers so it sounds like I was listening.
Although I've realized, I've had to speak a lot slower for the last couple of years. Yes, I have a perfect Kiwi accent and could once talk at the speed of sound without slipping, but alas, almost all of my friends now are Chinese/asians...I'm outta practice. |
