The sun baked me as I sat my tentative wait. All ten of us silently fearing what the Principal had to say about our "decisions". The counsellour was speaking, something to do with people missing. Her bobbing head twitched satirically on her hunched frail body.

Everything was too bright, the ozoneless sun, the lack of sunglasses, the blankness encompassing my sleepy thoughts..

Then she waddled, I mean arrived, I mean, the Principal's bulk carefully walked past us motioning a fat wrinkly hand towards the conference room. I tried to regain my sense but instead followed numbly as I stared, entranced by the handfuls of flesh bulging from our Principal's sandals.
