Movies.. movies.. movies

I've been watching waaaaaaaaaaay too many movies. More specifically the fairty tale kind. Which leads me to the fact that I dislike the Prince Charming of fairy tales. :(

He is always presented as being so superficial.

He sees a girl, and goes "omg, she's so beautiful, I'm in love" and the girl he's suppose to love starts slaving after him to win the ingrate back. Gah!!

Idiocy.

Then she goes through horrible torturous events and finally gets him back after almost dying a bajillion times. And what's her reward?

Prince Charming: Oh, I'm so silly.. it was you I loved. Not her, because she won't make a good house wife since she clearly wasn't willing to sacrifice her life for me. Oh dear no, I love you.. that's all the reward you need *smiles stupidly*

And here I shall end my rantness for I am not a very romantic person and say mean stuff about Prince Charming a lot.

So here is what the real Ugly Duckling grew up to be.
