Chapter 5
Hey Sarah....I hope you're having a good morning....I'm not....My dog Trixie got ran over by a car....:-( I'm sooooo sad. I miss Trixie she was a golden retriever. I think that working on my story will help over come my sadness.:-(
The next morning I went downstairs and found a note on our door.
It said:
"Casey,
I got a huge break in the case. Going to Billy's Boat Rental to check my lead. I'll see you later after I check out my lead. I called Tessa and told her that you were going to ride with her. Be careful. I love you.

A few seconds later Tessa picked me up in her red convertible. I was so jealous of her.
"Hey Case hop in!" she said.
I got in the car.
"Morning Tessa,"
We drove to school without talking. Instead we were jamming to music. I'm an awesome singer.
I had a really hard time paying attention at school today. I even had a hard time in reading and that's my favorite subject! I was worried about Conan<3.
"Oh, were is he? He could have been hit by a bus! Now Case calm down. He's just following a lead for his case. What if he was kidnaped! Oh no, oh no! Calm Casey, calm. He's fine," I thought.
During lunch I decided I would go and find him. I mean he should have been back by now! It's only a half an hour drive to Billy's Boat Rental from my house and 20 minutes if you're boating across. (it's on the other side of the lake)
"Tessa I need to borrow your car," I said.
"You can....not borrow my car unless I am coming with you," she said.
"But it's an emergency!" I cried.
" No," she said.
"I need it so I can find Conan<3!" I cried.
"Why?"
"He's a amateur detective. He said he had a lead. I need to find him. He might have been kidnaped. He said he was going to Billy's Boat Rental and that's only a half hour drive. He should be back by now!"I cried.
"Ok, ok. I'm coming with you,"
"Why?"
"I'm not letting you go alone,"
"I'm coming too. I wanna help find Conan<3," Rachel said. She was eavesdropping.
"Uh no way." I said, "Tessa can come since it's her car, but no way can Rachel come."
"If I don't come then I'll tell the principal you guys are skipping class," Rachel said.
"Wont they figure that out when we're not there?" Tessa asked.
"I have connections. I can get us note that excuse us for not being there," Rachel said.
"Well.....Ok. Just stay out of my way," I said.
After Rachel made a few calls we ate lunch.
We got into Tessa's car ( I was driving since I'm the only one who knows where Billy's is) and we were off.
I gotta go Sarah.... See ya tomorrow. Hey Sarah? Is that you who keeps putting hearts next Conan<3's and Peter<3's name? Sarah!!! Stop that! Bye....
