i stole one of my bffs poems. she is a great poet but she dosen't think so. here is her poem called "i know this road" if three people clik that comment button after the poem and tell me you liked it i will get her to post another on her site
Moon dust
on the asphalt
rain falling
around me
I am the
only person
here now
alone
i wish to leave
but cant
the burden of
impossibilities
i have been
here for
hours now
frozen emagine that
Waitng
for no thing
yet for everything
waiting alone
sitting
in the rain
something
not just right
i know this road
a winding street
it leads nowhere
important
i know this road
the land that bares it
used to bare a pond
and a forest before
now all i see
is the flute,
the black asphalt
and the moon dust
as i sit here
i wonder:
what has become
of this place
and as i sit here
on the hard asphalt
i think: i know this road
and smile
