   COLD DAY!!!!
Ugh. Everything I wrote got deleted. *pissed off* D:<

So...

Here's a run down of everything...

We got a cold day because the school officials were like, "Well, it's too cold to send the wee children out to wait for the buses in negative degree weather, so we're canceling school. Huzzah."

Which is totally fine with me, because it's a day off of school for me. :]

Of course, it totally screws up the schedule for school...

We were going on a field trip today to go snow tubing, but school was cancelled. So it moves the trip to tomorrow. But then on Thursday we were having a test and a project due. So move it back to Friday.

But here's the catch.

Everyone in a music class/group (I'm in our totally awesome band) is going to be gone, touring the elementary schools, so there will be very few kids left in the 8th grade.

So... Move the test and project to Monday. What a screwed up week. o.O


Anyways, on Friday I had my hyperventalating-inducing Algebra exam, and I actually finished early. So I think that went well...

On Saturday, I threw up AGAIN during a soccer game. And thus my blood sugar was SERIOUSLY thrown out of whack. I was really dizzy, and couldn't bend below the waist without getting a serious headache.

I had LifeSavers to, of course, help me out though. :]

And I saw the most AWESOME MOVIE IN EXISTENCE. HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE.

BEST.

MOVIE.

EVER.

   Lined paper = pain in the butt
Heh... Lemon drop.

Anways, has anyone ever noticed how a big pain in the butt lined paper is? I always do my best work on lined paper, and then all the rest sucks on the white paper when I want it to be good. I don't want it to be Murphy's Law! (;-;)

It's snowing! Again! Most of the snow melted in the amazing warm day (near the 50s F) but now it's freezing again. 10s and 20s most of the time. Brr...

Have have things been going for everyone? Good, I hope.


And now for Pudding's ranting week story! YATTA!

So, yesterday was a FORENSIC TRY OUTS. And I didn't choose my piece for prose until the night before. :d

PUDDING'S INFO CORNER: Subject: Forensics (Skip if you know)
Forensics is an extra activity that many school have nation-wide in the US. Basically what it is is a speech and drama team. My school competes with other schools from across the state to see who will rank #1 in the school category. My school has placed last soooo many years because there is a rigged school that gets first...

ANYWAY. There are 16 categories that a person can choose from, such as prose reading (what I did last year and this year), solo acting, group acting, and impromptu reading. Solo and group acting are, obviously, acting. You choose a script and memorize it, then preform it. Whoo! Prose you choose any printed selection and then read it (not memorized) with feeling.

CORNER OUT!

But since I tried out for prose, I thought the competition would be tough.

I was wrong.

Last year it was tough, but this year... Only 5 people tried out, and 7 spots were available. And most of them sucked. A kind-of-friend of mine did great, and I think I did too. But the other people... Not so great. Sorry, people.

What happened? It was so good last year! D:

I'm reading the first few chapters from 'Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment' (prose has to be between 4 and 7 minutes) which is a good book. Actually, the series is FABULOUS. Read it. Now.

My friends all did well, or so I hoped. And we waited... And waited.... We had gotten to school at 6:30 and the meet ended at 9:00. It was supposed to end at 8-8:30. So I'm tired today.

We waited and waited for the results and then we got them! All of friends made it into the categories they wanted! Some people got cut from too big categories.

And I got a 39 out of 42. Which is very good. And I had only been practicing for a day. I'm a procrastinator to the end. XP


Onto a new subject, I had TONS of quizzes and tests this week. And exams are next week. D:

And I think I failed a test on the story 'A Christmas Carol' we did today. I didn't know the vocab.

BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME! WHAT ABOUT YOU GUYS?

   Is addiction to a show bad? (At least it's better then drugs...)
I am now 100% addicted to Heroes. I practically hyperventilate every time something unexpected happens. In several emotional parts I almost cry (and when Claire's dad got shot the first time to save her by the Haitian I actually did cry). It's kind of stupid to get so emotional over a TV show, but I don't care. :d


Sorry for not updating in such a long time. I've been uber busy with school. Exams are soon! D:

So how are things going for you? Good? Bad? In the middle? Aren't you just ecstatic it's Friday?

I broke my glasses today. Well, at least part of them. I was slapping myself as a joke and I must have hit my glasses really hard because one of the screw came out of those little plastic things that hold the glasses off your face. I'm such a dork. :d

Things are always happening to my poor glasses. I got slammed in the side of the head with a basketball a few months ago and my glasses went sliding across the gym floor. My glasses have this weird feature that makes them really bendy so they bent in this weird shape. But I basically fixed them. Basically.

Can we say DORK?

I had a concert with the high school (guess how old I am if I'm going into high school next year!) symphonic band on Wednesday and it went pretty well. But let me tell you, high school band songs are BORING. I almost fell asleep. We played at the beginning and at the end, so it was pretty boring. I entertained myself (and my friends) by playing with my saxophone mouthpiece....



Lalalala.... It's been almost two years since I've been here on theO! I wasn't too active until less then a year ago, so my comment count isn't doing too bad, I guess. :D

I'm back from an awesome vacation in the Smokies of Tennessee. Awesome... Just awesome there. We stayed with everyone from my mom's side in one house. It was a huge place though!

The best gift I got? My family has a Wii! :DDD And I got watercolor paper. ^ ^

Weirdest gifts? A tackle box (for fishing) from my parents and some Hannah Montana perfume.

I love my Grandma, but someone should tell her not to listen to store clerks telling her that Hannah Montana is the most "popular" thing among teen girls. :d

   Happy Holidays!
Hi, hi!

How's everyone? Everything going well?

YOU READY FOR THE HOLIDAYS?! (Mainly Christmas. XD)

*runs around throwing confetti*

I'm pumped and eagerly awaiting my Christmas. I'm heading south to Tennessee (WARM!!!) for Christmas to hang out with some of my cousins, aunt and uncle, and grandparents. It shall be fun.

I'm posting about 2 or 3 new pictures today because I'll be gone for Christmas, and I won't be able to post anything for a while.


We had our band winter concert yesterday and it was pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. We played a christmas song, Hatikvah (an Islamic song), and The Lord of the Dance (you should have heard the cheering for this one!). We played a combined song with the 7th and 6th graders too. 'Cause they shoved us all in our school gym.

It was hottttttttt....

But fun. :D

We did the same thing today for the rest of my school, and just my band, the orchestra and chorus went for my grade. No other grades played excluding in orchestra when they had 7th graders.

I'm in jazz band (GO SAXES!) and we played both times. We sounded pretty good.


I'm tired though because I procrastinated on a project and had to do it last night. And I had to study for my giant science exam and algebra test.

I had to take them in a row! D: But then my "house" watched "We Are Marshall" for the end of the day. It was depressing, but good. :3

   And the winner for the lamest school...
Goes to my school.

We got about two feet of snow here. All the other school in surrounding districts closed.

All but ours.

It happened last year too. And it sucks so much!

Half of the kids didn't show up at school today, so classes were rather empty.

People complained so much last year that we got the next day off. But I doubt it's going to happen this year. :P

During 4th hour (it probably started earlier, but I couldn't see) there were flakes of snow coming down the size of if you put your pointer finger tip together with your thumb tip. See that big circle? Yeah, that big. Bigger then a quarter!

Besides a crud load of snow and coldness not much is new with me.

I've had lots of homework and as busy as heck. The norm. XD

Two weeks ago my house (our grades are divided into houses; I'm in the Blue house) raised $2,188.30 for soldiers in Iraq. We get to make care packages out of the things they wanted and send them to them. And I was one of the special people who got chosen to go shopping with my teachers. :DD

So when we load up all the stuff into giant baskets and go to check out we'll get some pretty weird looks.

*twirls in circles*

I've designed a Mew Mew! :O I'll put her up this weekend. I decided to go with the yellow-shouldered blackbird for now. 'Cause birds are cool.

And I have some art trades to do: Blue-chan, don't worry, I'm working on it! I'm thinking of doing a collage. 'Cause I can't just draw one. It would look really bad. XD So a Rock Lee collage it shall be!

   Freezing and homework...
Not my two most favorite things. XD

Well, I haven't posted in ages so I thought an update was in order.

So how's everyone? Ya'll good? (Whoa, past accent kicking in.)

I've been pretty good. Just the usually load up of quizzes and tests on one day again. I swear my teachers plan it. ;]

Have I missed any new art? Tell me if I did!

In response to aragorn1014's post, suicide isn't the answer, people.

'Sides, here's a conversation from yesterday that kind of carries into that subject. I was speaking to my friends about how lame middle school relationships are (they only last, what 5 days? At most?) one friend was like, "I don't care who's going out with who. It doesn't matter. All the drama goes around because of them."

(Here's the relating part!) And my response was, "I have enough problems, I don't need anyone else's." Everyone agreed. And then I basically fell down the stairs.

End of conversation.

So yeah. We come to this site to get away from the real world. Not to hear someone else's problems.

Anywho, anyone have have requests? I need something to do! I haven't drawn in quite a while. ;-;

It's so cold (it was 20 two days ago) and I can't do much outside. And who wants to actually practice their instruments? XD

Not much to report on from my end. But I do have one question for you guys:

How are your guy's scanners with colored ink?

I tried to draw something with red pen and it turned up blueish all around. ;-; Any ideas how to fix it/prevent it?

   Global warming, my foot.
By the title you might have realized that it is very cold where I am. Ugh.

I have today off school, so I'm uber happy! I think that having to cram and do so many late night projects is probably worth a day off of school. Just thank the Lord that this quarter is finally over. :D

And guess what! I don't have school next Friday (parent-teacher conferences) and the week after that it's Thanksgiving, so we get off on Tuesday. Super lucky, ne? ^___^

I've just been wandering around the site for a little while, and I found one of those doll-maker things. So I decided to make one that kind of looked like me. Here it is:

   Do Re Mi Fa So La Di Do....
Ugh, I'm tired.

I had a band concert on Thursday and it was pretty good. It was fun. :D

On Wednesday I stayed up until midnight to finish a project that was due the next day. And I didn't even have to go. Gr... DX

Friday (I'm really going out of order here... XP) I went to a jazz concert that made me want to fall asleep (it was 8 to 10 PM though) with a friend. We were the only people there under the age of 20. Or so it seemed. XD

And then when we were both in the bathroom during intermission I was washing my hands with lukewarm water and then all of a sudden, BOOM! The water went boiling and burned my hand. My hand is still pink, and the skin peeled on my right hand. I have little cuts too... DDX It happened to my friend to, but not as bad. It wasn't as pink.

We had state testing again this week, on Tuesday and Friday. Joy.

But was everyones' week ok? What happened to you guys?

I tried to draw something for the NYAF contest, but I'm such a procrastinator that I didn't get it uploaded. I might upload just for fun then. ^__^

Anyone want to request I picture? I was thinking of doing some surprise pics, but I'm not sure what to do.

By the way, did anyone else know that when you buy Prismas, the pencils are unsharpened? I didn't know that. And now I have to sharpen all my pencils. XP
