Start: 5:16 PM CST Hi everyone~! Oy, oy, I'm so tired... I know I bore you with these posts, but I don't really care if you read them... I love you guys, and I don't wanna torture you, so yah. Just skip it and we'll just talk in comments or whatever. (The daily update is for my "diary" thing, so ya know.) Oh, I have to tell you guys! Gwendolyn, my little "cousin" from San Jose, went back home on Saturday...around 7 AM in the morning... AWW, it's so sad. I was gonna get her a present! (SHOOT, I'm too late!) Yesterday/Sunday I woke up around...10 AM? After that, I put on all my clothes (black shirt--unbuttoned, red T-shirt, and white jeans!) Hmm, I went to church. Yup. After that, I bought fried rice! But I found out my mom was taking us out to eat... ^^;; (WAH... Waste of money!) So we went to McDonald's, by the church. After ordering our food, my brother, my sister, and I watched T.V. We were watching one of the Cheetah Girl's live premiere things. (I think they're coming to Houston next Friday to perform...or was it last Friday? No wait. Last Friday was Nickelback, and this week is the Cheetah Girls... ARGH, can't remember!!! @_@!) Anyways, it started pouring REAL bad outside, and my mom was sitting at another table, talking with one of her friends from the church. After eating, we went to the car and drove back to the church. Oh! My mom told me some black lady who was driving said to her, "You holdin' me?" (I'm pretty sure she said "You holdin' out on me?" or something like that, but I'm not sure.) My mom asked what that meant... Really, I dunno... @_@;; Anyways, I was dropped off the church around...1 AM. Ahh...I FOUND OUT SCHOOL DIDN'T START UNTIL 2 HOURS LATER!!! ARGGHHH!!! I hung out with Kevin, who got there early. And Bac Minh's two kids. A boy who seemed to be in first grade, and a younger one. She kept saying, "I'm gonna get my daddy to hit you!" when Kevin started teasing her about taking her dad's cell phone. (The boy had the cell phone, and Kevin kept saying he took it... ^^;;) Umm...I practiced piano in the choir part of the church, and then Na Nhi came, plus Kevin and the two little kids. We wandered around a bit. We played Speed with Vi, Trang, Kim, and then we played BS. Hmm...Chi came later, and so did Natalie! Chi, Na Nhi, and I were standing with each other, and all day long, Na Nhi kept yelling and shaking me, "WHERE'S MY WIFE?!" (I found out Tung was her wife!!!) So yah. Tung is Na Nhi's wife. Na Nhi's the husband. (Except that Na Nhi's a GIRL and Tung's a BOY!) WEIRD... @_@ Tung is cheating on Na Nhi...with his cousin. (Who happens to be a boy!) We even made a slogan for a new T-shirt! "I cheated on my husband with my cousin!" *laughs* Well, Confirmation class, we just talked amongst ourselves, listened to Tay Jonathan lecture (I was drawing... ^^;;) and took our ID pictures for identification! Well, we had to stay for church, but since my mom wanted me home, I got exempted. (Next week, I have to go every week!) My mom had a nice chat with Chi's mom, and yah. Well, we headed off into Wal-Mart! (More school supplies!) Uh...school supplies. I was talking to this couple about a calculator that uses graphing, but cannot store memory. (That's DUMBBB... All graphing calculators can store memory!!! It's hard to find one that DOESN'T!) Eh... I told my mom to wait so I could put the calculator back, but she just wandered around the store, leaving me. I hate that. I really do. I'm still on the search for a black and white (two different hats!) beret! Umm...I had to stay up all night to midnight trying to fix the computer. My sister had a BUNCH of viruses being downloaded onto the computer, and I had to remove them all. (That sucks...BAD.) Today/Monday ARGHH!!!! My alarm clock works right now, but I found out it's the WRONG TIME!!! (It was ten minutes early!!!! So when it was 8:20 AM, it said it was 8:10 AM!!!) Guess what? I missed my bus. WAHH... I got yelled at by my mom. (Of course.) But, still, she drove me for 40 minutes down to my school...and I waited. Vy came (like, half an hour later?), and so did Aaron! I went go get breakfast! (25 cents for a strip of bacon...???) Aaron went to go hang out with his girlfriend, so Vy started digging around his backpack. We found a slanderous essay thing Aaron had to do, and it was Chi threatening to start a rumor about Aaron about how he likes fat gay guys... (What the...?! o_O?) And in that essay, he replied: MOMMY! SHE'S MAKING FUN OF MY HOMOSEXUALITY!!!! (WEIRRDDD... *laughs*) Note: She doesn't think Aaron's a homo, but she needed to say something bad about him so he could write an essay. (That was the topic, basically. Slander.) Anyways...Chi came later. We talked, and talked... Uhh...in IPC, we had to come up with a skit for our rules. Our group did a song that goes to the tune of "The Wheels on the Bus"!!! XP (The teacher loved it so much she wants it to be filmed in a few days later??? ^^;;) In Geography, we talked a bunch more. Like, about how more people knew how to speak Spanish. Like, in a few more years, at least 50% of the population of Houston will be Hispanic. WOW. He kept referring to all Hispanics as "Mexicans". Everyone replied, "Don't say that. Say HISPANIC." Or Latino!!! XP Then he asked what was the difference between Spain Spanish and Mexican Spanish? (I was about to explain, but we went on...) And how many languages were in the Chinese language... (TONS.) There are also a ton of Hindustani languages! (Hindustani just refers to all the languages spoken in India, so ya know.) Oh! Earlier in Geography, Ema went around asking people if she could wear their jackets. She asked me, but of course, I didn't have a jacket. ^^;; Then she asked if I could take off my shirt and she could wear that. (I had two shirts on, one unbuttoned, one T-shirt.) But other people didn't know that, and they all went "EWWWW..." (Weird perverts! XP) And we talked about the baby boom. How those people nowadays are becoming 60-70s now. It all happened right after the war, and all the men came back from war, and what was the first thing on their mind? (YEAHHH... That's why there were so many children!!! XP) That's how my Geography teacher explained it to us... XP (Everyone was quiet for a second, then bursted out laughing... ^^;;) Well, I ate in lunch and I saw Geraldine, and in line, I was standing around a bunch of people who spoke sign language! (Shoot, I really did wish I knew sign language!!!) There's a large majority of people that know sign language here, but I hardly know any... I know my alphabet, so I could talk, letter to letter. But that'd be HARRRDDD. Anyways, I ate lunch by myself, and then went outside to look for Madiha. Wasn't there. I was in a group surrounded by a bunch of black guys, and I asked if I could get through, and this guy let me through and said, "Sorry, pimp." (Or something of that sort. What does "pimp" mean again...?) Anyways, after lunch, and returning back to Geography, I headed all around the school! (It's hard getting from one side of the school to the other, in less than 7 minutes!!! Plus, there are stairs you aren't allowed to use...and the main hallway is FULL.) Anyways, to Gym 1 again! Before I got to Gym, I talked with Christian, and he said I had this "prep" look to me. (White shirt, long sleeved, with collar, opened up, with a black shirt inside. And blue jeans!) That's...a "prep" look?! WEIRD. He says all the old people from HBMS are starting to do that now... Huh. I usually dress like what I wanna dress like. But I never heard it being called a "prep" look. o_O;; (I've also been called "emo" because of my clothes once..." ^^;;) Depends on what I feel like wearing that day, really. Huh...what did I do in the gym...? Oh, right! I talked with Kai! And Raul! Hehe, we just had a nice chat with each other... Raul and I practiced our Spanish with each other! (Yay, I REALLY need it!) For some reason, Kai was telling us about a time his friends in SJ (after he got drunk and fell asleep) when he woke up, he was tied to chains from a ceiling fan, naked. (I'm sorry, why did he tell us this...? ^^;;) And then they posted it on the Internet... (What mean friends then!!! -_-;;) Oh! There was a time he was playing Super Smash Bros. Melee and all of them were Kirbys, and they kept trying to suck each other. "Suck it!" "No, I don't wanna suck it! You do it!" "Ew, no! I don't wanna suck it!" "You're sucking him the wrong way!!!" One of the girls ran into the room, yelling, "What the hell are you guys talking about?!" P.S. If you play the game, Kirby sucks people...and turns into them. *laughs* Oh! Kai's birthday is on Labor Day! I should get him something... His backpack is HEAVY. He carries too much stuff around. No wonder he's so short. Huh. I offered to get him a backpack for his birthday, but he said, "I can buy my own backpack." in a cold-kinda way. Maybe I misread him. ^^;; He also said his sister (Barbara) and her friends talk about me, about how I'm gay. He went into the room, heard them talking about me, and he asked, "You guys know Travis?" (WAHHH. I'm being being gossipped at the old school! AND I DON'T EVEN GO THERE ANYMORE!!!) So after class, Kai and I walked to the area and waited for Vy to come!!! YAY! I got to see Kathy and Janice again! (THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN KATHY IN...ONE WEEK AND TWO DAYS!!!) Ah, I've missed them so! It sucks that I don't have the same lunch, or ANY period with them. So yah. Talking to Aaron. Aaron was being "gay" again...proposing to me... ^^;; Uhh...lots of fun, really! Cramped though... Uhh...before I got off, I talked with Dominique, and he was telling about how Troy and LaDre think I'm gay. (WHAT IS UP WITH THIS?!) Yah. He says he doesn't like to hang out with them anymore because they lie too much and stuff... UHHH... A guy told me this: You can't act gay, dress gay, or even talk gay. You either are gay or are not. EXACTLY. Well, on the bus, I was crammed with Vy and Aaron, since Angelie took me seat. Ah, yes. Well, my mom drove me home from the school, I came up to eat, and I got on the computer around...5 PM? Ah yeah. Oh yeah! Aaron burned me a copy of Adobe Photoshop. YAY~! I hope it doesn't have any viruses though! I'll talk to you guys later! Bye! P.S. AND FINALLY! KAI UNBLOCKED ME FROM AIM! He said he didn't do it, and it was probably one of his friends... (After February--or April, he FINALLY unblocked me.) OH YEAH! He wants to come down to the church and help in the bazaar again! It's November this year, for some reason. (Kai needs his community service points, ya see.) Oh...um...Dai hates me now because I hang out with Kai. She says he's a bad influence on me. (Or would it be I'm a good influence on HIM? EH? XP) I'm thinking of getting him a stuffed animal that plays the Barney song, "I Love You". Chi said it was "okay", but it might make people think I'm gay. (I don't care. I know that "I Love You" is his favorite song--for some reason, and he never smiles, so yah.) Hmm, still thinking... I'm REALLY sorry I haven't been posting! SHOOT... If only I could remember what happened these four days... (Ugh, I know you guys wouldn't read that!!! So this time, I'm too lazy, so I'll give you some insight, all right? ^^) 1. Wanting to learn sign language. In the high school I'm going to, there is a minority of deaf people. There are 3,000 people in the school I'm going to, and at least 5-20% are deaf and use sign language. I have some in my classes, and I'd love to learn how to talk to them. (Of course, they have translators with them, but sometimes, the translator doesn't translate, let's say, what a student says to them. Just what the teacher says.) Currently, I'm learning sign language from a sight. I know how to say the basics... *smiles* Wednesday I was sitting in the bleachers with Travis again. Behind me, there was this boy talking to himself in this soft, yet kinda-fast voice, saying these kinds of things: "I DON'T WANNA DO DRUGS. I DON'T WANNA DO DRUGS. WELL MAYBE I'LL DO SOME DRUGS. GIRLS MAKE ME FEEL FUNNY. I THINK I'LL HIT A GIRL ONE DAY." My expression: o_O;; There was also two deaf students in front of me, and me, obsessed with sign language, just watched them talk amongst each other. (And their translator of course.) Then Travis told me that we were in the wrong area of the gym (three classes at once were sharing the gym), so we moved to the B side. Yah, that was correct. Then, we went to go shoot with a bunch of people. It wasn't a game, but we shot a lot. *smiles* Digital Graphics and Animation - I didn't get to sit with Geraldine today. WAH. Well, anyways, Geraldine didn't have a translator that day, so the teacher asked me to go down to the room and ask for a translator. So me and Geraldine walked downstairs to the room, and there was a bunch of kids waving hi to us. (Or was it just Geraldine?) Yes, they were deaf too. Geraldine said (in sign language) that we needed a translator, so one came to us. (Hehe, at first, they thought I was deaf too! Then, when I started speaking, they were kinda shocked. The teachers, I mean. ^^;;) So we walked back to the class, and I was paired with a sophmore and senior in my class. We had to figure out the puzzling things about a cube with letters, colors, and whatnot with them. We found the answer first! (YAY!) We also talked about the movie posters in the room. They sound so interesting... So, after that, we had to head to the auditorium to listen to the 9th grade thing. Of course, since there were also sophmore, juniors, and seniors in this class too, they had to come along... ^^;; SO LONGGG... Then, me, running around, trying to get my schedule changed. GOSH, I was almost late!!! >_< English? I forgot to turn in one of my papers!!! NOO!!! The teacher said that she was gonna put me in ZAP, but this girl said that ZAP doesn't start until next week. PHEW. >_< (ZAP is a program in our school, which means Zeroes Aren't Permitted, and if you get just ONE ZERO in the school, you're automatically kicked out... *scared*) That's what I get for being in one of the toughest high schools in the city. *still scared* That, and LOTS of homework. Oh, there was this game we had to play! Basically, we were going white-river-rafting in the Grand Canyon, and we had to make up a story following this: We're going rafting, but suddenly, the waves get too strong, and we're stranded in the middle of nowhere. Who will go look for food? Who will go to get help? Who will do nothing? There was a paramedic. He was unconcious. The tour guide broke both his legs. The doctor...TURNED OUT TO BE AN ALLERGY DOCTOR. There was a track runner...who was afraid of heights. There was a pastry chef...who was pregnant. There was an artist who liked rock climbing. There was a contractor. There was a college baseball player...but his knee broke 6 months ago, and it hadn't quite healed. There was this girl in our classroom who LOVED DEATH. (Death obsessor!!!) She kept asking, "Do they die?" "When do they die?" And for her story, this is what she did: She said that the college student went out to go look for food, but a bear attacked him. The doctor pulled out a gun to shoot the bear, but missed and shot the college student. (EH?!) And then the track runner ran off the cliff and went tummeling down for... (How many miles down is the Grand Canyon anyways???) See? OBSESSED WITH DEATH... *screams* For lunch, I sat with Christian, Julio, and Angelie. (They're the only people I know in that lunch. *sniffs* Geometry...we had a sub. Our regular teacher just a child, and she's on her maternity leave. Our teacher was of Indian descent...and knew how to speak Spanish and Mandarin Chinese (or was that his son???)! Well, I replied, "Yo hablo Español!" when he asked if anyone knew Spanish, but K.K. said, "That's the ONLY thing you know how to say, eh?" ...Why do people automatically assume that since I'm Asian, I don't know Spanish. I took Spanish for FOUR (4) YEARS!!! (And I forgot it. But with later practicing, I'm starting to remember again!!! YAY! Vicky will be pleased! *smiles*) Oh, I got eight pages for Geometry homework... Ugh. On the bus, I sat with Vy. It was rainy that day, and Nancy (behind me) asked if we could pull open the window. We did, but it kept sliding back. ^^;; After I did it for her, and she said "thank you!", she added, "Are you two boyfriend and girlfriend?" Vy and me: o_O??? No... Thursday Day 2 for me. GAHHH, I was ALMOST LATE!!! (Shoot, my alarm clock keeps messing up lately!!!) At least I got to sleep "comfortably" on the bus that day!!! (But poor Charles! I kept shoving him off the seat! Me and my stupid weight... >_<) Oh...on the bus, if you don't know, there are 3 to a seat...ON ALL THE SEATS. o_O;; Uh. Day B. Second time. I was waiting for a schedule change, but in Transition (Study Hall), they declined my thing. WHAT THE...?! Eh... Well, I just finished up some homework and asked my IPC teacher to help me with Geometry. Geography was so funny! Ahh...our teacher was telling us about this Japanese kid who just entered our school, and his family was new to Texas, so they didn't know what it was like. So they bought him all this COWBOY clothes so they would all match the environment there... *bursts out laughing* SO WHEN HE CAME TO SCHOOL ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, HE WAS WEARING COWBOY STUFF. o_O;; There was another guy from Ohio that did the same thing. He kept talking about horses for some reason. "Do you know how to ride a horse?" is what he asked. And another guy from Canada that did the same thing. (So three--as far as I know--people went to school on the first day of school wearing cowboy stuf...??? EH?!) All students said this: Stereotypes. EXACTLY. :O But the teacher said this wasn't their fault because on TV, all they see Texas as is an "Old West" style area... ^^;; Uhh...in Fitness, we were once again summoned to Gym 1. I sat with Kai and Raul. Raul and some other guy had to leave to go somewhere, so I just went on talking to Kai. Ah, Tien (the second one--the girl that's Barbara's and Angelie's friends) started talking to him and I just joined along. Two days ago, he told me that Tien stalked him. (It didn't seem like she stalked him. It seemed like she was his friend. o_O;;) Oh, and Raul came back later. He seemed so along because we weren't talking to him... *sniffs* OH! I'm thinking of going white-river-rafting with Kai in the summer! I'm going to SJ (and Australia) next summer, and he's going to San Jose (well, an area by San Jose) to go white-river-rafting! It sounds so fun!!! But I wonder if I'll have time. You see: I'm taking German I for credit in the summer. I'm taking Spanish for Native Speakers for credit in the summer. I'm taking Algebra II next year (I think I already took that!) so I can be in Pre-Calculus by 10th grade with Aaron. *laughs* See? SO BUSY. STUPID CREDITS! I'm CONFUSSSEEDDD... Well, Kai and I walked to the bus, except he left me to go walk Vy to the bus. (He didn't tell me he was waiting for Vy. Shoot.) So on the bus, me, Aaron, and Vy were listening to the radio. Diary of Jane... Hehe, my sister likes that song. BUH GUHHH... I had to WALK home in the HEAT! I tried taking a shortcut, but that made it even HOTTER... UWAHHH... We went shopping for school supplies that day. More school supplies anyways. Well, after doing all the school supply shopping, my mom took SO LONG BUYING FURNITURE AND FOOD! (Okay, I have so much homework due in two days and she takes her time shopping?! @_@?!) Well...I got home around 7-8 PM... That's good, right? ^^;; Oh, I stayed on the computer until midnight that night JUST TO FINISH MY HOMEWORK. BLUHHH... Friday/Yesterday Well, my hair was cut on Thursday at night! I had a bet with Chi (somewhere in the night) that'd I come to school with my hair spiked up... It didn't work...actually. Ehh... Lemme remember. OH! I played basketball with Travis again. And Kyo (is that how his name is spelled? That's how it sounds anyways...) And another girl... She had no shoes and was wearing toe rings... ^^;; She was playing basketball with us...but she didn't move. AND WE ALL SUCKED. So two black guys (shorter than me) come up to us, looking for a game. So we played. It was 2 (the two black kids) vs. 4 (me, Travis, "Kyo", and that girl whose name I cannot remember right now!!!). Guess what? WE LOST. ^^;; For Digital Animation, we learned about light... How our Art teachers have been lying to us about color! The three main colors are NOT red, blue, and yellow! They are magenta, cyan, and yellow!!! RGB! CMYK!!!! *screams and runs around* K = black. Who knew? ^^;; Ah, I had to help Geraldine and her speaker fix the printer (the teacher pulled out their computer's plug so we could turn on the overhead) and then, we all got to play with Adobe Photoshop! Hehe, all that time, I need help from Rochelle... ^^;; (Hey, I wonder where Andy was... :O) In English...uhh...we were going over the factors of gothic literature... Ooh. Too bad I didn't bring my book!!! UGHH. I had to share with Moriah... Geometry. MORE WORK. I worked with the two people on the left and right of me. Over on the bottom corner of the room, kids were talking about K.K. real's name and saying, "WHO HAS A NAME LIKE THAT?!" *laughs* (Hey, I know someone named Heimatatini. If you don't know who that is, that's Hinaru from MyOtaku. And I think it's an adorable name... XP And more fighting about how Rehman and D...something look alike. (They DO look alike! Except their hair, face shape, and smile... XPXP They're cousins, so yah.) They were talking about this when I was getting back to English from lunch, and I overheard their conversation (they were standing outside, so this was before I got in). But they thought I didn't know what they were talking about. (Me, a random person, walking up to someone, hearing their conversation, and talking about it... XPXP) So after that, I went out and waited with Kai for Vy...except he's so quiet that you start to think he doesn't want to talk to you. But he's like that, ya know? Chi came to me and we said "hi"! (I whispered to her, "Say hi to Kai." She replied, "No." and walked off. What a demon she is. Info: They used to be friends, but because of a little fight last year, they don't talk to each other anymore.) Quote from Vy: They're just stubborn little idiots. Me: YUP. OH! I finally saw JANICE!!!! GAH, she looks so DORKY at school!!! (I don't mean to sound mean!!! It's just that she had glasses on, pulled her hair back--it was still messy, and had these baggy clothes on. Usually, she doesn't have glasses, her hair's curled, and she doesn't have BAGGY clothes on. ^^;;) We said "hi", and I kept trying to stick this flower (which I brought for AARON!!! XP) into her hair, but it didn't work. So she stuck it onto her friend's head, Jonathan. XPXP On the bus, Aaron, me, and Vy were listening to bagpipe music... Hehe, I don't know why, but bagpipe music makes me happy. *smiles* So...my mom picked me up from school that day, and I went home. I went on the computer and played a bit (me free day!!!), then I got off! I watched Cheetah Girls 2! I found out Aqua (one of the characters) is from Houston, Texas! Hehe, the first one was kinda insulting. In the first movie, she kept talking like this: "Well, in Texas, we rangers gotta talk together." and all that cowboy lingo. (No cowboy lingo in the second movie. YAY! ^^) After that, I had ice cream, ate a lot and whatnot. Today/Saturday Uhh...I woke up around...11 AM, ate food, then went on the computer around 2 PM. Aaron, Diana, and I have been sharing funny videos around to watch. Hehe... There was this HORRIBLE SHAKIRA ONE... *eyes scream in pain* (Aaron sent this to me.) And cartoon characters killing each other... @_@;; (Aaron sent this to me.) The Hamster Dance one... It was bad. I like the song, but not the pictures. (Aaron sent this to me.) That Dance Dance one Diana sent to me and Aaron. Aaron said she had great taste. XP And the peaceful flower...SCARY PICTURE THING. It was this girl singing a soft song, with pretty flowers, and I keep thinking: I bet this is one of those videos that have that scary picture pop up at the end. Somewhere around the beginning, my sister walked out of the room, laughing. (This is when I started to think this was a "scary" video...) Yup yup, second day of school. Want this to be quick? SURREEE... I woke up late! My mom had to wake me up! I found out that someone had set my clock NOT to ring! (But who would do that?!) Anyways, I changed, grabbed some water, and a frozen Poptart, and my mom drove me to school. Oh yeah. I fixed my hair today. My hair has gotten WAYY too long, and my mom won't cut it. (She's a hairdresser, so ya know.) Anyways, I met up with Aaron, and behind him, I heard Brad talking about how you could tell if an Asian person was driving a car, etc. o_O;;??? Well, more cramped space on the bus for me. I just talked to Vy... Um...my leg started hurting, and we fell asleep. But before reaching the school, we stopped by the bus terminal by my old 8th grade school, and the bus driver had to tell them to make a new route because the bus had gotten so full. (Yes, it HAS. Three to a seat, basically!!!) My nose started running before we reached school... And no tissue paper. UGH. Um, when I reached the school, I met up with Vy, and we met up with Kai, standing by himself (next to the library!). I said "hi", and Aaron came along. (Still had the runny nose issue, so I had to rush to the bathroom. TISSUE PAPER!!! @_@!!!) After that, we headed to class. First today (Day B!) was...Integrated Physics and Chemistry (I'll call it IPC to be short!)... The teacher...is strict, but somewhat nice. Yet I don't much care for her. I got to know the classmates, and I met Paul and Anthony! They play Gunbound and MapleStory and whatnots... *laughs* After that, it was...Transition, or as some of you may call it, "study hall". It was in the same classroom as the IPC room, and the teacher (not the IPC one) were talking to each other about each other's babies and etc. Since I stayed in the room, I had to pick up the stuff and put it back into a binder, etc. A girl helped me too. ^^ (She also made me get printer papers... o_O;;) I was doing my homework, and there was a girl on the bottom right of me sneezing so hardly... Poor her. So now we had to head to our Advisory class, every Tuesday. Oh, it was hard finding the class. There was no class called "S-1", and I had to look around and ask the teachers... Basically, it's a class where we talk about our problems in school and whatnot. Like...peer counseling. But basically, we talked about where to find our lockers, agendas, books, etc. (And since I signed a paper of confidentiality, I can't share with you guys about that. I WOULDN'T anyways. XP) After that, was...Geometry? Yup. The teacher is nice. He called us to tell us which seat to sit on, and at first I thought, "Wow, he has SUCH amazing memory!" (I thought he read our names, decided to put us in designated seats, and memorized it.) Later, I found out he was just doing it randomly... ^^;; He's a nice man. Ah, funny too. He called Target (pronounced "tar-zheh") a "fancy French store"... *laughs* And then there was that Burger Thing thing... o_O;; Ah, I recognize at least 7 students in this class from HBMS. YAY!!! Oh, we had split period that day, so I headed off to the Auditorium (took me a while!) to find, gather all my books, and wait in line...which was...15 minutes, at least? So I had to stand in a line with four textbooks (a girl helped me look for some) and sign them off. But the man who worked there typed the numbers so slow... It took SO LONG. (A girl behind me was confused if we had to go and search for our books... @_@;;) Well, after that, and grabbing some book covers, I went to my "locker". I SPENT THE WHOLE LUNCH PERIOD TRYING TO OPEN IT! It would NOT work!!! So I asked a teacher. Guess what he told me? WRONG LOCKER. (I'll tell you. In this school, there are upstairs and downstairs. The lockers are separated by letters and numbers. So there are two 500 lockers. M500 and 500M. Get it? Mines was something like that. M in the wrong place, ya see.) OY. BUT I REALIZED THAT MY LUNCH TIME WAS GONE!!! I rushed up the stairs, and to my locker! (Some girls saw my backpack, and said, "DAMN!" ^^;;) Well, I rushed to my classroom. It was locked. I WAS LATE... NOO. (Then, later, two other people were late.) After that, I rushed over to my eighth grade class, Fitness! I walked a bit with Anita, and split off with her. I talked with some girls that were in that class (seems like this class has both genders--I'm used to boys and girls separated in P.E. or things like that...) And I saw Kai there...! Ooh... He was sitting in an area where there were a lot of boys. He was talking with them and laughing. (Chi lies! She says he's so quiet!!!) Well, our teacher, who happens to be volleyball coach, had to leave for a tournament. So she left us in Gym 1. I hung out with Kai and Raul, one of Kai's friends. Hehe, we played Battleship (Raul and I--on paper), I made a crane (one of its wings were broken!!), and chatted on. Kai has bad hearing in one ear, I found out... So it was hard for me to talk to him. Umm...we talked about Kai at SJ (we both found out we hang at Lion Plaza!!! ^^!) and then we started to talk about alcohol... Me and Kai like SOME types of wine, hate beer--accidentally drank it once, thinking it was Mountain Dew... ^^;;, and don't drink any other type of alcohol... Kai only drinks it if his friends tell him to... ^^;;) Um...Kai's computer/video games/electronic sober now! He used to go on the computer FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!! Now, he hardly goes on at all. Once every now and then. I hardly go on video games, but I stay on the computer a LOT. Not a lot nowadays because of school... Kai said he spent ALL his money on all these systems and games, and now he doesn't even play them anymore. He says they're a waste of his money now. Eh, that's true. But he has SUCH a big allowance... @_@;; He's still in Medical! (Weird, Chi said he was in Engineering now! Later, I found out from Vy that he couldn't move to a different academy...) And he denies Barbara is his sister. And I found out he has four different names. (His dad changed his name FOUR TIMES!!! And Kai, who was little then, was sitting in court, looking like this: o_O???) *laughs* Then, at the end, something just freaked me out. Kai said he once SMACKED Raul for poking him while he was sleeping. Me: Well, why were you two sleeping at each other's house? Kai: We weren't. I was sleeping in class. Me: OHHHH... I thought you two were sleeping TOGETHER...in the same bed! Kai: o_O;; Me: *bursts out laughing* It was so funny. And we practiced our Japanese together (yes, Kai knows Japanese--not so fluent though...) and I practiced my old, forgotten, four-year Spanish with Raul. (He wants me to take "Spanish for Native Speakers", but I've forgotten almost ALL OF IT!) OH! Kai wants me to join German (the language)! That way, next year, we can go on a trip to Germany together!!! Oh, next summer, I need to take Algebra II. That way, in my sophmore year, I can take Pre-Calculus with Aaron... (And he can cheat offa me. XP) So Kai, Raul, and I took the "gym" way out to the buses... I found out I'm taller than him. o_O;; We walked to our buses together, and then separated. Uh, I sat behind Aaron and Vy! Mahida sat with me, by Anita! Ahh...what a nice day. Vy got a penguin! It was black, with a beret with a puffball and a white feather boa and a blue jewel pierced bellybutton ring... XP SO CUTE! Kai got it for Vy! (To Fishy from Pingy!!! AWWW...) I just kept playing with the li'l penguin, yet Aaron kept threatening to throw it out the window. XPXP Ahh... Then Vy told me a story about how Kai went over to California, grabbed some snow, put it in a bag to bring it home for Vy. This kid was staring at him, thinking he was an idiot. XP (I think it was his own way of being cute. XP) Oh yeah. Kai lived in SJ, Cali for 11 years, so yah. And so did Vy! (Why does EVERYONE I know here--especially Asian--used to live in SJ, Cali?!) Note: 75% of the population of SJ, Cali is 75%... o_O;; Well, I was talking to Aaron, and we both noticed Brad didn't make his bus. XPXP Well, when we got out of the bus, we started walking home...and it started DRIZZLING!!! NOO!! I walked a bit with Julio, then I walked with Anita all the way to the corner... (SO FAR! We're asking the bus driver if she could drive us all the way to the corner and drop us off there.) So we talked a bit and such, and parted. When I got home...I ate. A LOT. Today was my first day of high school. WHEEP. *laughs* It was fun, really. (Actually, I think school's always fun the first day. *nods*) Well, let's start off. The bell...rang around...5:25 AM?? Well, I was too tired, so I set in five more minutes... Still wasn't enough, but I got out. XP Anyways, I got ready, but I was afraid I wasn't gonna make it in time. Luckily, my dad drove me. At first, I thought I missed the bus! XP (No one was there.) I asked some students (juniors, seniors) by the bus stop, but they knew nothing about it... I saw a bunch of girls park their cars and head into the building... (Not my school. This is where we're supposed to wait to get to our school.) Anyways, a black girl came, and we went on the bus together! (YAY! ^^!) Luckily, I had the same bus as Vy. As usual, she called me an "idiot". I sat with Mohammad and his friend. (Three to a seat--me on the edge--I kept falling out!) But the bus ride was SO LONG! Do you know what it's like to sit on the edge of a bus seat and to lock your legs together...for 1-2 HOURS?! (GAH, the PAIN!) I also found out Charlie, Anita, Madiha, Nohemi, and Danny go on my bus. (Yay!) So when we FINALLY got there, it was SO CROWDED. I scrambled around with Danny to find what room we were supposed to go to. (We sat down, but Danny went to go put his stuff up in the Band Room.) I met up with Chi and Na Nhi! Hehe, Vy and Chi kept laughing at me because I was lost... ^^;; (Actually, not lost, just sitting down and waiting for people. XP) So when the bell rang, I headed towards the gym, where a large herd of 11th and 12th graders left the gym. The coaches said if we didn't have a schedule (we were supposed to pick it up last Thursday--along with our textbooks, agenda/planner, and student ID), go to the library. So I walked there... So when I passed there, I saw this Asian boy...he looked SO FAMILIAR, yet I couldn't tell who he was... (A few seconds later, it snapped into my head--KAI! It was KAI! I didn't even RECOGNIZE him. He changed...a LOT. Well, his hair's down, not spiky anymore...and I think his face cleared up... ^^;;) But I was too busy to talk to him. Headed towards the library. Guess what the library did? Send me back to the gym. (OY. I was confused, so I just stayed there.) The coaches handed out papers for us to sign and give to our parents. (First day always does this, grr.) Well, I had a nice, long chat with this 11th grader I met. His name's Travis (same as mines! *laughs*) and we just had talks about computer (he's also in computer academy) and etc. OH! I noticed the boy in front of us was trying to be "trendy", in an "emo" kind of way. (He wore his shirt backwards, he had all these rings, bracelet thingys, wore lots of black--his shirt had crossbones and some "blood"-looking color... Thing was--he was a freshman. *laughs* It's weird how these kids act like something they're not just to make friends. Just be yourself! Hey, I already met Travis just by being ourselves, and we have a common interest of computers and HTML designing. XPXP) So after that, we parted ways, and I met up with Danny. Of course, Chi interrupted, so I talked with her. She told me not to take the main staircases, but to take the ones hidden in the corners of the school. (Too bad we're not allowed to go through them. SHOOT. Maybe they won't care... *looks around suspiciously*) Well, next was Digital Graphics and Animation. There was a girl (Geraldine?) who was mute, so she had an assistant sit with her and translate through sign language. (I was sitting by them and I found what they were fascinating. *bursts out laughing* Normal things fascinate me, okay???XP) I also met two 11th graders, Andy (Chinese), and another Filipino girl (name too hard...)... At first, I mistakened the girl for a 9th grade. (Weird thing is, all the classes I have--everyone's mixed with each other. 9th, 10th, and 11... @_@!!!) They were eating crackers during class, and I don't know, but in my head, I kept laughing because the guy kept eating the crackers and saying, "MAN, this is SOO GOOD." (They're those salty, normal crackers, usually eaten with soup. ^^;;) He said that we were allowed to get on the computer... o_O;; (Kenny.) But we weren't... (Ah well.) The teacher was nice. Some students complained he talked a bit, but he was just going over rules... ^^;; Next was...English! Nice lady (she had the Shrek sountrack on--and the girl behind me, Moria, kept singing along with it. I also met her and Ema--they like a bunch of songs, especially heavy metal... Well, just Moria. Ema likes techno. ^^) Well, we ate lunch in between class (we split) and all throughout lunch, I kept looking for everyone. I found all my old HBMS friends, Mohammad, John (he has studs in his ears now! XP), Maggie, Angelie-- BUT I FOUND SOMETHING WEIRD. Julio and Christian were there! (Last year, they were kicked out of Hightower and stuff because they brought beer on the last day of school and were caught with it.) Yet SOMEHOW, they were there! (Apparently, their "punishment" didn't go in right or whatever.) Oh...I found out. ALL MY FRIENDS ARE IN A LUNCH!!! (I'm in B lunch!!! NOO!!! *cries*) Aaron, Vy, Chi, Na Nhi, Kai, Janice, Kathy... They're all in A LUNCH!!! *screams* And the thing is, I don't wanna change my schedule!!! (I've gotten attached to the people in my other classes...VERY EASILY. XP) The line was long... I didn't know what to eat. I kept looking out for an eye for my friends, but it was ALL IN VAIN... In one of the lunch lines, I heard 4 black (seniors? Juniors?) talk about selling weed to freshman... (o_O;; Um...why?) Well, back to English, we did some more work, and left. Um, what was next...? Uhh...right! Geometry! The teacher's very nice. We all introduced ourselves, told the class what we did over the summer, etc. But she won't be here for two weeks. She just had a child, and she's having a special 2-week off thing to take care of her child. (At the end, her mom came to visit. XP) Well, the bell rang (I have 8 classes, but it's block schedules), and we all left. Danny had to go to Band practice (OH MY GOSH! ON THE FIRST DAY?!), and I found Anita, and we wandered the bus area to find our bus. I found out Aaron also rode our bus, and was sitting by Vy. I found out he had the same pick-up area as me, but guess what? He convinced EVERYONE that the bus stop was at te BACK OF THE SCHOOL. (THERE IS NO WAY THAT CAN BE POSSIBLE--there's a bayou behind the school...) YET EVERYONE BELIEVED HIM AND WAITED OUT THERE. No WONDER I didn't see him in the morning... ^^;; Ahh...the kid who I was sitting next to talked about him and his dad going working...somewhere and making money in the summer. (I didn't bother talking to him though--I was too excited talking to Aaron and Vy--I hadn't seen them the WHOLE DAY.) I don't get to see ANY of my friends the whole day. Just during switching classes. So we just talked on the bus... About computers, killing Vy (SHH! Don't tell ANYONE!)--only that if we threw her off the bus, she'd make a MESS. The bus driver is a bit...unsensitive...but I guess that's okay. (No one talks to her, so yah.) Oh yeah! You know there are some seniors/juniors that ride their cars to the bus stop, and ride the bus all the way to school? (I said it earlier--it takes about 1-2 hours to get to my school from that stop...) So those students didn't want to spend gas (EXPENSIVE!), so they ride the bus... XPXP Most of the people there don't even KNOW where HBMS is... Most of them are Lake Olympia students, ya see. Well, I had to WALK HOME from that stop! I was SOO TIRED...and DRY. I kept repeating, "I WANT WATER!" in my head... @_@;; I did get home, turned on the fan, and drank grape juice... XPXP And I've been sorting some paperwork for me mum, and talking online. Diana and my mom are doing extra school supply shopping right now. I'll talk to you guys later! Sorry for posting so long! (It was a nice day!!!) P.S. "It's funny how some students think that, when you go into high school, your life magically changes into a magical world!" I said that to my friend Danny. (Of course, I don't do it, but it was so funny seeing freshman trying to act all cool--wearing these WEIRD clothes you might only see on TV--and all that. ^^;;) They tend to be the shyer kids, I think. Poor them. I tried talking to some to make them feel better, but they wouldn't talk back... *sigh* OH! There's a guy from Louisiana in my English class, and he evacuated from Hurricane Katrina a year or so ago. I was also telling a bit about what I had to go through (mostly my friends) had to go through during Hurricane Rita. Hurricane Katrina victims get more "fame" than Hurricane Rita victims... Weird, neh? Rita did more damage, but Katrina destroyed the levee in N.O., which caused the city to flood... So Rita did more wind damage (my friend's house was TORN TO BITS FROM RITA! Healea, if you guys can't remember.), while Katrina did more water damage. Or something like that. Anyways, about that boy in my class, I think I saw him on TV once. On one of those Hurricane Katrina things, where they interviewed the people. o_O;; Hmm... Or maybe it was the news. ^^;; Also, Trangie's been treating me differently. I'm sad... Talk to you later! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while! (Grr, I'm always making these excuses!!!) I always try to get on MyOtaku, but I'm lazy. (Curse thee, Procrastination!!!) Well, here's the current info... 1. School starts tomorrow! 2. I'm getting a laptop because I'm starting high school at a computer academy! (But my parents don't wanna buy the one I want--it's light, so I can carry it--it's almost $2000.) Why ARE high-quality products so expensive?! No wait. Why are SMALLER products so expensive? (Don't answer, it's rhetorical... ^^;;) Yesterday/Saturday Well, I think I woke up...around noon. My parents were gone, my sister in the computer room, and the phones were ringing like HECK. (Why? My parents were having a party today!) So yeah...slowly, one by one, the partygoers came... (And I was taking a shower while some of them were there... ^^;;) I saw one of our neighbors (she's 16-25???) on the computer looking up Time Warner, because she wanted to order TV cable, Internet, and phone. (She says she's SICK of dial-up. *laughs* Who isn't? ^^;;) So yeah... Kevin (or IS he Kevin's brother?) came into the computer room (that girl left--it was his mom... o_O;; I think.) playing with Diana. I got on the computer around...2-3 PM? Kevin and Diana started playing Super Smash Bros. Melee around that time... Then my mom called all of us into the living room to pray, then eat. (Charlie was there! Oh, so you know, Mr. Charlie--won't say last name--was a friend of my dad. My dad knew him since the Vietnam War--he's a veteran, and he married one of my dad's old girlfriends, so they know each other. ^^;; So we did the grace in both Vietnamese and English... XP Mom moved all the kids (me, my siblings, and "Kevin") to the regular kitchen table, and we all helped ourselves to food. Ricky kept asking my mom, "Where are the spoons?" "Where's the noodles?" (My mom was busy at the time, and she said, "I'm busy! Help yourselves to anything!" But noo, my brother had to keep asking her... -_-;;) Um, some people from San Jose came over. A girl and guy, about my age, I guess. They ate at the main table... After we all ate, Diana and I dressed hurriedly, and biked to Alex's house. (For some reason, that girl kept staring at me at the party. o_O;;) So we biked and biked, and we came to Alex's house. On the way there, a boy asked me if I saw a dog. (I saw a shaggy dog that day and a chihuahua two days earlier there!) I described the shaggy dog one, but it wasn't his. (I didn't even REMEMBER the chihuahua one until a few days later, but it was too late. XP) Ah, we went into Alex's house, we ate chicken, pasta, and Alex, me, Diana, and Janice (later Awi) sat together and joked about idiotic stuff. GOSH, we're such sadists! We were talking about what if our bodies were buried under our rooms. (Mine would be in the dining room table, Ricky's in the kitchen, and Diana's in the garage.) We imagine Diana's body sliding off the garage door and falling into the car windshield or the moon roof! XP Then we imagined her head being jammed into the garage door, making the appearance of a "zombie moving"... XPXP!!! And we imagined what it would be like if someone accidentally ate Ricky's body during dinner... XPXP!!! Then, Alex, Awi, Diana, and I went into Alex's room, listened to the radio, and drew. I played with Alex's bandana. OH! She made me a shirt! "I CROSSED HWY 6" and under it said "7 * 3 * 06". (Which is July 3, 2006.) Haha, it was the same day we biked across the highway just to buy fireworks! XP (We were proud of it too. XP But I wanted to make this shirt: "I crossed Highway 6 and all I got were a bunch of lousy fireworks." That'd be a bit more funny. ^^;;) Well, Awi was drawing Axel, and I bet I could style my hair like Axel, so Alex let me use a comb and hair gel... So I tried to make it like Axel's... Guess what? GRAVITY SUCKS. (Yes, the hair plus hair gel got too heavy and fell over and over. Plus, she had no hair dryer... -_-;;) So I came into the main room where everyone was, and we just did a bunch of stuff... We started watching "The Cat Returns", which is Kathy's favorite anime movie, plus it's by Studio Ghibli!!! (It's not directed by Hayao Miyazaki though.) SO FUNNY. *laughs* Oh yeah. I tried to fix Alex's computer a bit earlier. (She has SO MUCH VIRUSES/SPYWARE!!! GAH!) We had pizza and brownies after the movie. Then, it got dark, and we had to leave. (Diana and I biked to Alex's, and it was getting dark.) So we biked...SLOWLY. (Diana was biking SO SLOW!!! I could've biked faster, but I couldn't leave her behind. WHAT IF PEOPLE CAPTURED HER?! GASP!!!) We did manage to get home, like, RIGHT before the sun went EXACTLY down... Like, a bit crack of light, but that was it. We bathed, and rested. I got on the computer around...9 PM??? I played around Gaia Online, talked a bit (me was so hyper!), and went to sleep around...11 PM??? (Parents didn't want me on late.) Oh, the party my parents had? It went good. My parents were tired after it though. Cleaning and whatnot. I found out Ricky played SMBM with the older boy from SJ that came here, and Gwendolyn came over to play too! (AW, WE MISSED HER!!!!) I stayed up all night reading Rebecca... Shoot, I scared the heck outta me. Rebecca's a murder story, but in some parts, it becomes a horror story. (And yes, when I read a book, I imagine it...REAL BAD.) I got paranoid... When I read the part about finding her skeleton inside the boat, the smile with an evil grin, I heard a POP out of nowhere! I jumped up, BAD. (It was plastic popping. When you press plastic down and it goes up fast, it makes a popping sound. It came from my bike lock container, which I opened a bit ago...) Well, I got so scared, I headed off to bed around 2-3 AM... Today/Sunday I woke up...around 10 AM, took a bath, got clothes, and it was SO HECTIC! THEN I GOT SICK! I started sneezing, getting runny nose, etc. My parents were about to leave me!! o_O! I ran after the van, and they yelled at me in there... -_-;; Church was nice. After that, I bought a soda, put it to my nose (to make it feel better), and we drove home. We ate leftover food from yesterday's party, and Diana went on the computer. I did a bit of cleaning, and packed up my school supplies for tomorrow. After that, we all headed back to the church. I saw Natalie and Chi! Natalie got SO MUCH DARKER! WOW. XP (It was nice seeing everyone again too!) My mom got pissed when she couldn't find me, and I was hanging out with Chi and Natalie, talking about our summer breaks, etc. She told me to go into the room and hear the rules. (They're the same every year... -_-;;) But she got angry and almost yelled at me in front of the whole church room... o_O;;) Grr, after that, we split, and went into our classes. I sat on the left of Chi. We all introduced ourselves, and told each other what we did in our summer. The majority of people said "SEA WORLD", even the TAs!!! XP Then we had some free time to talk, so Chi and I talked about school. Some others heard what we were talking about, and joined in a bit. (They're in medical school too! XP) But we found out we had 30 more minutes left, so we went over the stations of the cross. Chi left with her dad, and I called my parents, who left me. *sniffs* I went to hang out with Vi and Trang, and they were sitting with their friend, eating chocolate...twinkie things. So we just talked about summer and school and whatnot.) My parents came a bit later, and I got picked up. I found out two people (American man and Chinese woman) had their car stolen at the post office! (My dad said they were crying and crying, but I found out later they had a pissed look to their face, according to me siblings.) My parents called 911 and tried to sort it out with them. They just told them to go to the post office and find them there... We got home, and we brought in the groceries. My mom and I got into a fight. You see, my mom always talks wrong about me. When I try to correct her, she hits me. This time, I talked wrong about her. She corrected me, and then she hit me. And then she went on about how I only have girl friends and I'm such a gay boy... (I'm not gay! First of all, it hurts to be called that, but your OWN MOTHER?! What the heck?!) I dunno, I walked out of the house, cried a bit, and my dad and I drove to Best Buy to test out laptops. I found a 12 in. screen one! The guy who worked there was really expertise in computers! (Although he talked a bit too much--but that's his job, right? ^^;;) He also plays MapleStory. *laughs* Well, after testing them out, we headed home. (Around 6:45 PM, I got on the computer.) Um, I want to tell my parents to buy the one I want, but they say it's too expensive. Plus, they left for our neighbor's house. I'm talking to my friends about what laptop to buy, plus about school tomorrow. I can't wait!!! *squeals* Hmm, I don't know what more I can add. Oh, did I mention school starts tomorrow? And I'm getting a laptop! *jumps up and down* LAPTOP! LAPTOP! LAPTOP!!! (No more fighting over the computer! YAY!!!) *claps excitedly* The problem is choosing what kind, the specifications (I'm getting a Dell--my most trusted brand), and the price. (Like I said, almost $2000...) Shoot, conflict. I don't feel like posting, so I'll make this short. Tuesday I went to church. ------ I went to church today! For some reason, today was a special day in the Catholic religion. It was the Ascension, I think??? Well, anyways, when we first entered church, I bought two roses for me and my sister, but my mom made us leave it at the altar. (You're not supposed to put it there!) Later, we found out you were supposed to put it in the front of the church. (Duh.) Wednesday I went shopping. ----- I went shopping with my mom and dad for a tent/pagoda for our backyard. We went to Academy, and I wandered around the store looking for a bike lock. After asking a TON of people who work there, I went back to my mom. Then I lost her again... She was outside, looking at chairs/tents/pagodas... o_O;; A Vietnamese guy helped carry the tent thingy into the back of the truck, but my parents kept yelling that it would fall out, so he moved it. ^^;; Then we went to Wal-Mart. I bought a new battery for my computer! (They looketh like coins!) My mom bought a new printer. But when we went into the self check-out line, everyone started getting angry. An old black woman (who worked there), was trying to help us scan the box, but my mom kept yelling at her, saying, "We don't need your help!" and stuff like that. (Gah, she WORKS there. Shouldn't she anyways?) So yeah... My mom had this pissed look on her face. (She doesn't like people helping her--she's "independent".) My dad got angry because my mom got angry, and everyone went home angry...except me. (I got a chocolate bar! *squeals* But that was the ONLY thing I ate that day!!! *cries*) Ricky and me had to carry the tent thing into the backyard. HEAVY... And I didn't get to go on the computer, except for an hour, where I went on Gunbound. Dad said he was gonna buy me a laptop! Yay! We talked it over. Missed "So You Think You Can Dance". STUPID local TV!!! >_< Thursday I did nothing. ----- What DID I do??? Oh...right! Went on the computer...and...er...oh right! My mom cooked dim sum in the morning, but my brother ate ALL OF IT!!!! (None for us! My mom said to find dad to eat, so we all went looking. Ricky was the only one remaining there. He ATE IT ALL. *cries*) I didn't eat anything that day. I lost 8 pounds in a day. Is that natural??? o_O? Also, my mom let me go on the computer at midnight to talk to my cousin Richard (mom's side), and we talked about what laptop to buy. I also talked to Enin and Jason. Me: WHY DO GOOD QUALITY THINGS HAVE TO COST SO MUCH?!?! *cries* Enin: That's a silly question. (OF COURSE it was. It was sarcastic. XP) You know what my dad said?! "Just buy a cheap computer. If it breaks, just throw it away and buy another one." ...THAT'S WASTEFUL. He also wants me to get a Macintosh! (That's a HORRIBLE OS!!!!!!!!!!!) It was nice talking to Jason again... He didn't realize Chamillionaire lived in Houston too. (Yes, he does. Northern Houston. My cousin Jason lives near Sydney, Australia, and his theme on his site has the song "Ridin' Dirty" by Chamillionaire... XP) Uh...Diana found me in the morning around 5:30 AM? She kicked me off, I went to go read Rebecca, and then fell asleep... I woke up...at 1:30 AM. (This is part of Today/Friday, so ya know.) Today/Friday I did...nothing. ----- I went on the computer, talked a lot around Gaia. (The guild's forums are really nice!) Everyone shared pictures, we all laughed evilly and took over each other's bodies!!! *laughs evilly* (I'm a system administrator for my guild, so I can do that. But you don't see Panda or Katana going around, messing with people's topics/sites... ^^;;) Nah, I'm kidding. I only used it as an example. I was also gonna go to Alex's so Diana and I could go to Burger King, but her mom won't let her... Other Things This Week: Alex invited me to her "summer ending" party! It's this Saturday/tomorrow! I've been trying to post all week long, but I couldn't... School starts for me in a week... BAH. And if you don't wanna read 3-4 days worth of posts, just read this. It's one short paragraph. **YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.** (I'm gonna start using this for people who don't wanna read a lot.) Oh, and my next theme will be Howl's Moving Castle. I've thought of the PERFECT thing to do! *smiles* Friday/After Posting Well, Gwendolyn was still at our house...with our mom, Bac Minh, and her mom, watching...I think it was Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Can't remember. Well, I just sat in my sister's room, reading some of her mangas while Diana was taking a bath. Gwendolyn came into Diana's room, seeing me inside a PINK ROOM. (Now, imagine me, a 14-year old boy, lying on a pink lotus bed, and the lights are surrounded by glass crystals, and there are stuffed animals all around, reading a manga. *bursts out laughing*) The first thing she asked was, "THIS IS YOUR ROOM?!" *bursts out laughing* I told her it was my sister's. Well, Gwen agrees with my mom. Gwen says Diana's room is messy. (It is!) And that's she's too girly. (My sister's TASTES are girly, but inside, she's a tomboy. ^^;;) So I started making Diana's bed. Diana came into the room, seeing us in here, and Gwen yelled at Diana saying, "YOU MAKE YOUR BROTHER CLEAN YOUR ROOM!" (But truthfully, I WANT to clean it. XP) After that, we all went into the game room and set up Super Smash Bros. Melee... While DIANA was setting the games up, Gwen and I were hitting Diana over and over with pillows. (We had a pillow fight before playing GameCube. XP) Gwen took Ricky's giant bean bag chair and started beating Diana with it over and over! XP (I'd say this bean bag chair was about 3/4s of Gwen's size...which is about 1/2 my size...) Diana kept saying, "OW." in a monotonous voice...until she said, "I think you hurt my back." XPXP We played and Gwen kept losing... She didn't work how to work the controls... Huh... After that, we all went downstairs. (By then, my mom, Gwen's mom, and Bac Minh headed over to Bac Minh's house.) Diana, Gwen, and I ate rice with chicken, carrots, and broccoli, except Gwen thought it looked gross, so she just ate rice flavored with soy sauce. (Who does that...? o_O?) Oh, when Diana was heating up the food on the stove, Diana said, "If you beat up Travis, I'll give you ice cream." (LIES! I ATE THE LAST OF THE ICE CREAM A FEW HOURS AGO!!!) But still, Gwen kept trying to kick me while I was eating... @_@;; (Imagine me running around the kitchen and living room, eating chicken, while a little girl is using her kung fu on me. XP) Diana said we were like a little family. Ya know, all three of us setting up the bowls and chopsticks. And eating at the table together. (Heck, I don't even do this with my OWN family! XP) But Diana and Gwen finished... (I was too busy making lemonade.) So while drinking lemonade, we watched Kids Next Door: Operation Zero. I was doing this dishes around this time. After that, we watched Finding Nemo. A little bit later, Gwen's mom and my mom came back from Bac Minh's house, and Gwen had to go home. So we said our good-byes and left. OH! Gwen's mom asks if Diana could teach Gwen piano (since Gwen is FAR away from home--she lives in San Jose), but Diana kept running off. My mom kept calling her "shy"... Or was it "stupid"??? o_O??? Vietnamese speakers, when your parents call you "kho" (pronounced "khuh") does it mean "shy" or "stupid"? Well, my mom found Gwen's Digimon cards on the deck. (Actually, they were my old ones and I let her have them.) Gwen was gonna come over later, so we just decided to give them to her when she comes back another time. ^^ After this, I cannot remember what I did..except eating a rice cake with peanuts in it... @_@;; Saturday I woke up...around 7-9 AM, wanting to get on the computer. Oh, yesterday, I promised I would give Diana my time because I was heading off to Chi's house. But now I realized I could go on in the morning, but Diana kept saying "no" and "You're annoying, you whiny b!tch." o_O;; Well, she only let me on every now and then, but kicked me off. OH YEAH! ANN CALLED ME IN THE MORNING! Along with Hang! They said they were at home, and they wanted money from me. They said "If we were at the Galleria and Hong Kong Mall, would you buy us food and clothes?" I kept saying "I'm poor!", but Ann kept saying "Ask your mommy and daddy." or "You live in Houston! You're rich!" (NOT EVERYONE IN HOUSTON IS RICH, DURR.) Or "Open up a loan." (Problem is, I have to pay back a loan...with money I don't have right now. And why would I open up a loan just to buy clothes for them???) Well, my mom wanted me off her cell phone, so I hung up. We had to go to the orthodontist today, so yah. When we got there...around 1-2 PM, all I had to do was change my lower brace's wire. (WOW, so many people work here now! When I first started going here, at least only 5 people work here. Now there's 15???? I think some of them were interns.) But Diana had to take long... I watched the carp and lotus swim around, and I read a Vietnamese newspaper, saying that Jackie Chan and Jet Li were going to star in a new Hollywood movie, "Journey to the West". (OH, that idea has been used WAY too many times!) My mom kept talking about how I broke Ricky's retainer to the other workers... Wah. *sniffs* (Yeah, they all wondered why Ricky was there--Ricky had already finished his orthodontic things.) So after that, my mom wanted to go to Hong Kong Mall to buy stuff. Try saying this over and over: Sense Skills Card (It's a group of items/special abilities in a game my sister and I play: Trickster Online.) So when were there, my mom said that we could go around and play... The moment I passed by the video store by Little Surprises, I saw ANN! Ann and I ran up to each other and started hugging! (GAH! I HAVEN'T SEEN HER SINCE LAST SEPTEMBER! Also...on the phone, she said she was at home... Then again, she also said she moved to Africa to get a better education. o_O;;) So she was looking around movies and then I saw Hang and her boyfriend (who I shall explain about later!--his name is John.)! Hang's hair is shorter, and I'm taller than her now... o_O;; She asks if she looked older. (I told her yes, but not in the "old woman" way... She took that as an insult. XP) So Ann and I were walking out, and John started hugging Hang from the back. Ann said, "Let's leave them here to get horny on each other." (o_O;; What the...?!) So Ann wanted a tapioca drink, but I told her I have no money... I just followed Ann around (she kept ignoring Diana...and asking me for money...), but I stopped following her after a while, and Diana, Ricky, and I headed into the market area. OH! FORGOT TO TELL YOU! Hong Kong Mall has a directory now. MAN, are they late. I saw Ann's mom, and told my mom that Ann was here... My mom picked up this little utensil thing (it was a lemon/orange juicer), and she dropped three of them on the floor. This old woman who passed by us (70?) whispered under her voice in Vietnamese, "You troublemaker..." (She called my mom, 40-something, a troublemaker because she tried to get something off a shelf and it knocked other things over??? o_O;;) I don't know why, but the older Vietnamese women (50-90?) that I know like to gossip about each other. Not saying it applies to all of them, but just most of the ones I know. So Diana and I headed west down, and I heard a girl whisper to one of her friends while pointing to me, "He's a hottie." (It just feels WEIRD when people TALK ABOUT YOU, good things or bad... Well, to me, yah.) Diana went into the restrooms, and I went to go wash my hands. After that, we headed over to a pageant and watched little kids perform! I also saw Hang, John, and Ann! Ann started tasting her drinks (she called me and Diana weird because we got "weird" flavors--she called them mango and watermelon? NO, it's passion fruit and strawberry!!! @_@!!!) So Hang, John, and Ann left us to go get drinks. I don't know, but I had that feeling they wanted to ignore us. Like, every time I came to hang out with them, they made an excuse to leave... o_O;; (One of my best friends from my old town HATES ME NOW! *cries*) Diana and I headed into a beef jerky store called "Kho Bo", which basically means "dried beef". You know those candy stores you find at malls that have all these different flavors of jellybeans and you get to buy them, and they sell them by weight? YAHH... This store did the same, only with beef jerky! (They made jerky out of fruit too! Mangoes, plums, etc.) They even put fruit in their beef jerky. (They actually let you sample the jerky before you buy it.) I wanted to buy some, but they were all $20 a pound. (I wanted to go to my mom and ask for $20 later, but I forgot. @_@) They also sold dried strawberries and candies ($5 a pound?! Candy Crazy in Central Mall was more cheaper than that!!! No wait. Candy Craze is $8 a pound... ^^;;) So Diana and I went over to the arcade, but she decided to go outside and watch the fountains. (There was a tournament there--old men were playing Chinese checkers--the real kind--and I think one of them was playing Go... Hmm.) So, we just watched the fountain, finished our drinks, talked with turtles (yes! XP), and headed to Cali Fashion. That's where we saw Ricky. He'd been looking for us, and so had our mom. XP So we met at the central part, and my mom asked us if we wanted to eat or go home. I couldn't choose... Diana wanted to go home because she was playing an online game and selling stuff in her cart... XP So we all headed home... Oh yeah. Mom had to go pick up gasoline to power up the mower... So when we headed to Highway 6, I told my mom to head towards Chi's house. My mom got ANGRY (for what reason?!) and started yelling at me about how I care for my friends more... Then she started cursing about Chi's parents... (o_O;; My mom's like this. Once she decides she doesn't like you, she starts saying bad things about you behind your back... HYPOCRITE!!! She said NEVER to do that, but she's doing it herself!) So my mom bought some chicken at Church's and we went home, ate, and I went on the computer. (After having a fight with my sister about getting on the computer. We threw things at each other. Feather dusters, kicking, and metal folding chairs... @_@;;) Well, my dad came home that day too! Umm, my mom wanted us to eat all together...and we did... Um, showering...and then I went on the computer to study a bit for Rebecca. Sunday I woke up around 10 AM, got ready for church, and we all left. After church, we headed to Bogard Bistro, tucked RIGHT in the middle of a Chinese shopping center. (I didn't even notice there were things there! @_@!) I had pho (guess what? I GOT A VERY LARGE BOWL!!!) and a blueberry slushie. I had to order for my sister again... @_@;; There was two American people (one woman, one man, in their late 50s?) who kept staring at me. My dad said that they said, "WOW, that kid's eating a lot." YES, I DID ORDER A LOT. Every pho store has a different size. This pho restaurant's Medium is usually other people's Large. So when I ordered LARGE here, it was other people's EXTRA-LARGE. You know that feeling of cramming food in your mouth, even though your mouth's too tired from chewing, but you KNOW that you can't waste food. OH MY GOSH, I was like that for a LONG TIME. After my mom and Ricky went grocery shopping, Diana, my dad, and I stayed in the restaurant eating. We washed up (who puts a plasma TV in the restroom?!?!) and headed to the grocery store. Um, I told my mom that we would be at Moshi-Moshi, and left off. Moshi-Moshi, T & P Gifts, and something else sold all these Hello Kitty stuffs. I don't remember, but I think I went into Moshi-Moshi, and we looked around. I wanted to buy Gwen something because she'll be heading back to San Jose on the 27th, but I had no money. (I know she wouldn't like anything pink--she doesn't like girly things... I was gonna buy her a glass-shaped star-origami holder, but that would break... ^^;;) Apple Panda... Is that a new animal in Sanrio? Mamemo...something. It's a seal. New? And some...yellow whale with dinosaur legs and a plant inside its blowhole. (That wasn't Sanrio, but it was odd. XP) So we headed back to the market, finished our slushies, and went in. OH MY GOSH! THERE WAS A SALE ON DIM SUM AND PEOPLE WERE ALL CROWDING! (You know those samples? Everyone was running up for samples!!! @_@!) Also, it was "buy dim sum, get a dim sum cooker free"??? Well, after my parents finished paying, they kept telling us about how people were talking about us behind our back. (WHY DO PEOPLE DO THAT?! They called me handsome, and called Ricky fat. o_O;;) And so...as we were heading home, I filled up with Marukawa gum. (It's this Japanese gum shaped in balls and flavored with artificial fruit flavoring...) GAH. Once you have 16 balls of gum in your mouth, your jaw gets tired EASILY. (And all the Japanese gum I've ever had--their flavor goes away fast.) So I went on the computer...and then in the afternoon, I went exercising. People in this city don't even say hi to each other... Or is it always like that? Like, when you pass by a person on their sidewalk, they just lower their eyes and pretend you're not there... o_O;; (They only wave when I wave at them...) And I saw that guy...um, Kevin's friend with his dog and little sister! (He had this monotonous tone to him. I told him I liked his dog--it was a caramel/white little husky, I think? He just replied, "Uh.") So after getting home, eating dinner, I showered, and got on the computer again. I studied a bit of Rebecca, and went on Gunbound until 4:30 PM. XP Monday MY DAD WOKE ME UP AT 9:30 AM IN THE MORNING TO MAKE ME PRINT DRIVING DIRECTIONS FOR HIM! (OH MY GOSH! Diana was on the computer, but he didn't ask HER?!) He dragged me out while I was still trying to sleep... Also, the computer was lagging because Diana was on Trickster Online... So all you want to do is print directions for your dad and head back to sleep...but your computer is lagging REAL BAD. Sucks, huh? Hmm, I headed back to bed...and Diana woke me up around 2 PM to get on the computer...and I've been here since. Interesting Things I Have Found Out This Week: 1. MapleStory, an online MMORPG was sued because of credit card fraud. I'm kidding!--actually, I'm partly right. But you see, in MapleStory, there are some special items (in the Cash Shop) which you can only buy on MapleStory. And then there are the HACKERS which take this information from the people and steal money from their account. So these people are running around, crying, screaming, because they're losing TONS of money for things they didn't buy. MapleStory had to return this money FROM THEIR OWN WALLET, PLUS they were charged by credit card companies for fraud. (Even though the HACKERS DID IT.) 2. Did you know Mario is based on a drug trip? Yup, a friend from Gaia told me this. At first, I thought he was joking, but let's look. a. You eat a mushroom and get big. Connection: When you eat a psychodelic mushroom, you get high. b. Stars give you power. Connection: Stars = crystal meth c. Flowers that shoot fire. Connection: It's a psychotropic plant. So what's the original story? A fat Italian man from Brooklyn getting high on drugs, going around town and beating up random people. o_O;; Now THAT'S A SCARY THOUGHT. The original story of Mario Bros. was a man on a drug trip... @_@;; This is funny too, but might not be true: Me: If he's on a drug trip, I wonder what Toad is on real life. Person: He's probably just an orphan on the streets, and Mario's hallucinating him as a toadstool head. XPXP! 3. Alice in Wonderland on an acid trip. This little girl needed help (on Gaia) on rewriting fantasy stories. This guy told her to write about Alice on an acid trip. (That's the reason how she got there in the first place! XP) I told him, "Sorry, but that's alreay been done. Petshop of Horrors, Volume 1." 4. On Gaia, this girl said when she was little, and when she was at church, she heard the priest reading the Gospel about Jesus saying "eat my flesh and blood". She ran out of the church screaming. o_O;; (She was seven then. XP) That was FUNNY. XP Then we started making fun about it, and one guy called Jesus's disciples "cannibals," and when Jesus died, they couldn't find him in the tomb because PAUL ATE HIM. Person 1: And when Jesus comes back from the dead, he is JESUS ZOMBIE, who comes to eat the body of Paul. Person 2: LOL ZOMBIE JESUS. Person 3: I always thought he wanted to eat a man named Paul... XP I know it's not in my mind to make fun of my own religion, but it's just funny, now that you think about it like that. XP Gotta go now! Ricky wants to get on! I asked Ricky (around 11 PM?) to leave the computer on so I could finish my summer reading, Rebecca. ACTUALLY. He locked the room... (But my unlocking skills have gotten GREAT! *evil smirk*) So, on the computer, although I got SOO BORED, I went on to Gaia Online and chatted in the forums until...4:30 AM? When I went out, sleepy, with the books in my hand, I saw Diana. She was up at 4:30 AM! I waved "hi", but she was too sleepy, and she headed into the bathroom. XPXP Wednesday If only I could remember... What the heck did I do that day? Oh yeah. Gunbound. We were supposed to go to Sam's Club today (because on Tuesday, my mom wanted me to set up the printer, but it was missing TONS of parts!!!), but we didn't... Ricky and I hung out in my room for a while. (Later, I wanted him OUT.) We played War, and in my head, I kept thinking, "OH WHEN WILL THIS GAME END?!" (Yes, I didn't want to play. -_-;;) Oh, and after I got off the computer, I watched T.V. My mom, Diana, and I were eating dinner (fish! XP) and were watching "So You Think You Can Dance". Haha, I loved that little nerd dance. XP (My mom found the show kinda wrong though... o_O?) Then when Ricky got off, I asked him to leave on the computer so I could study for Rebecca. I chatted with the group (Chi, Melinda, Vy, Alex, and I talked to Michael, Chi's friend from Cali!), but then they started to get all happy about Neopets and they all started playing it... I got distracted... @_@;; I went to sleep...can't remember. Thursday I woke up around...something. And I went on Gunbound. (Gosh, I'm such an addict now!) Oh, 11 PM, now I remember! Well, my sister was on the computer (although no one was), and I kinda ratted her out. -_-;; My mom punished her by making her kneel for a long time... Also, she found out her timer was wrong (you know when you flip the timer the wrong way, it can break??? Yeah...) and Diana was also punished for that... My mom also made us pay for hats we borrowed her money with a few days ago. (My mom: If you break anything, even if you're her own child, she'll make you pay for it.) So Diana was angry with me for ratting her out... She didn't get off until...2 PM, I think... OH YEAH! Diana was cooking some spicy chicken, and I started eating it (Diana was on the computer at this time--noon?), and I only ate a bit, but then I went up into the computer room to talk to Diana, and when I came downstairs, my brother ate ALL OF THE CHICKEN. (My sister made THREE separate chickens, and he ate them ALL. That pig... You know what the size of a chicken is, right? Yeah, about three of those... @_@;;) All he left was grilled eggplant. And those had a very UNPLEASANT aftertaste. -_-;; (I found cookie and cream ice cream in the freezer... Me fatty. XP) Umm...I was on Gaia Online, and I remember talking on it last night, and this girl showed me a new game! Trickster Online! That's what it was called... It looked SO COOL so I downloaded it...but it took SO LONG. (THAT'S when I started playing Gunbound.) Oh, but before that, I was trying to help ShadowHimura13 play Fishing with me... (But her Internet won't allow her... Grr, if only I knew how to work Firefox. -_-;;) So yeah...playing Gunbound. Huh. Then when I got off, I found out Kevin was at our house! (Yes, his grandma left him here. ACTUALLY, my mom thought he looked so bored, that he should come over and play with us! P.S. Kevin's only 3-5 years old.) So we gave him stuffed animals, let him watched TV, have peanut butter and jelly. But my mom's so strict on him. She yelled at him for jumping on the couch (I can understand that), but when we started cutting the crusts off the sandwich, my mom yelled at us and told him that he needs to eat it. o_O;; And where was I when all this happened? Washing the dishes. (It became REALLY rainy that day...so yah. @_@) We were gonna go upstairs to play video games, but his grandpa came to pick him up, and he left. So yeah...after that, my sister and I had some ice cream. (Neopolitan!!!--why is it called that?) And we watched TV... ("So You Think You Can Dance" wasn't on... WEIRD. It was...football on, I think.) And we watched "So You Think You Can Be A Superhero?" XPXP Umm...yeah...after Ricky got off, I used the time to get on and study for Rebecca. Ricky kept sneezing all over the computer! (EW!!! And I could FEEL me being sick because my nose started running after an hour or so... @_@!) So I didn't go on AIM (they distract me!) and I read two chapters... Diana wanted to play Trickster Online, so I let her. But she got off at midnight... More studying for me...and then I went on Gunbound. AHH, IT WAS SO FUN!!! I met two Asian girls (one was a girl in a guy's body--at first I thought he was gay because she--in a guy's body--kept talking about how hot boys were... @_@?) It was nice talking to them. So funny, sometimes perverted and whatnot... XP Then I went to sleep at 4:30 AM in the morning... Today I can't remember when I woke up... I actually moved my alarm clock to the other side of the rom, so when it blares, I get OUT of my bed, turn it off, and by that time, I'd be too awake to get back in bed. XP But guess what? THE ALARM WAS OFF... NOO!!! So...yeah. I woke up at 1 PM. Diana was playing Trickster Online (she's getting addicted!), and she wouldn't let me on until 2 PM. So I played Gunbound and etc. Diana wanted me to go eat (at 3-4 PM?), but I didn't want so, since my mom had company over. (She still does--it's Bac Minh.) But yeah, we did go eat. Stir-fry carrots, brocolli, and chicken. XP I ate fast, and went back upstairs... In the middle of nowhere, I hear the computer door open, and in comes Gwendolyn! (Gwendolyn's a 2-4 grader who lives in San Jose, California, but she comes down to Houston to visit in the summer, winter, and sometimes Spring Break. Oh yeah. Her brothers own a house here to go to college, so that's also another reason.) So yeah. She saw me playing Gunbound! She said that one of her friends played it, and she wanted to play, so I let her. Oh...Ricky's locking her out of the computer room. Okay, now she's in. So basically, she killed her (my) own teammates and made me lose GPs and lose money... But it was still nice. XP Diana came in, and she started playing with us too. But Gwen was being a bit snobby...not exactly. She kept telling us to call the other players "losers" or to "shut up". (Yes, Diana typed it all, and they were PISSED.) Ah...she started playing with clothes, and got bored... Ah, I got SO BORED watching her play, but I endured. XP (That is, I didn't say anything. XP) I kept telling the other players that my "cousin" was playing, but they wouldn't listen. They said "Sure..." or "Yeah right..." (Because in GB, if you suck, you oftenly get yelled at...) Now she's here talking about getting seashells... She wants to make a necklace, and we're talking about once, we went to the beach, and found shells, but they broke easily. She wants us to find shells, if she wants to, but we don't live by the ocean anymore... (If you knew me a year ago, yes, I lived ACROSS THE STREET from the beach, but I moved, and I'm more inland now, and it's sad... I miss the water...the moon, the flowers... The giant boats passing by... *sniffs*) Hehe, the funny thing about those boats, if you weren't used to it, and you looked outside, it was like looking at a giant warship (yes, they were sometimes that big) "driving" on the streets. XP Oh, she has to go back home to San Jose in a few days/weeks... School's probably starting for her soon. She'll be back in the winter. ^^ I found out her brother is in college, but he works as a doughnut delivery person? (Or something like that. Makes doughnuts... @_@?) Well, then she started looking through my Digimon (and Yu-Gi-Oh! too!) cards and asking if she could have some... She picked them out, and we sorted out the ones we wanted, and gave them to her. ^^ There was this blank Yu-Gi-Oh! card that was from a sticker, but she wanted it because she thought it was rare. XP (Have you seen that episode where Yugi has this blank card, and it becomes the Black Chaos Magician? Yeah... XP) Well, Ricky and Gwen played together with SMBM, and I have to get off soon. I think Bac Minh left already, and Gwen's mom is here to pick her up. My mom and her are chatting right now. Aww...I'm gonna miss Gwen. I WON'T SEE HER UNTIL CHRISTMAS! (I love little kids... BLUHHH... Saturday Night (WAY After Posting) Well, I was looking through my cabinet drawers, and I took out all the paper I didn't need and etc. and threw all the schoolwork from last year away. I found the song lyrics from songs from church! Hehehe... (And I did this while listening to the radio.) I found Andy's (my friend) e-mail address. (He gave it to me late May--last day of Viet Ngu school, but I don't think I added it to my address book. XP) So I got on the computer, added him, and then I was interrupted by my mom, who wanted me to check her e-mail. (And I was talking to Enin--showing him the video game my sister created--Chronicles of Synthterra! and my cousin Jason at the same time... @_@) So yeah... I think I stayed up until 1:30 AM or something like that playing Gunbound... ^^;; Oh yeah!!! Sobia had a party that day, and didn't invite me... *sniffs* Sunday Well, we needed to get to church early because we needed to head to the Buddhist temple. So today, we went to church at 8 AM. I didn't see Andy at church though. (Well, he does have altar server duty at 11... ^^;;) I saw Dalena, Diana, and Anne with their parents on the side, and at the end of church, they spotted us and waved hello and stuff... XP But my mom wanted to leave a little before the end of the church. (She said the priest talked too much and that we needed to get to the temple soon.) But being good Catholics we are, me and my siblings stayed until the whole mass was done. So I talked a bit with Dalena and Anne, and we found my mom angry, sitting in the car, waiting for us to get out. She was yelling at us, and all the church-goers were staring at her while she was yelling at us... -_-;; (And it didn't help that I went in to go look for Ricky...) So we drove home, ate a bit, Bac Minh came over, and after frantic moving-around and Diana grabbing water bottles for us, we headed off to the Buddhist temple. It was nice to be there again... It took us a while to park again. Eh, it always takes a long time to park in that temple... So big, yet little parking space. ^^;; Well, after all that, my mom and I headed towards the main part of the temple, where the whole place was crowded with people kneeling and shoes EVERYWHERE. (Yes, you cannot wear your shoes when you enter--gotta take them off, and piles of shoes were EVERYWHERE!!! ^^;;) But I took off my shoes and went in, trying to sit in a small "empty" place. ^^;; But my mom told me to get Diana and Ricky to come in (they, being crowded by a crowd), but when I got them, someone took my spot on the floor!!!!! *yells* Well, it was too crowded anyways, and I told Diana we would come back to pray later... ^^;; So after putting back our shoes, Diana and I headed to the lotus pond (man-made; concrete) filled with carp and a little wooden bridge going through it. XP There was a marble (I think) statue of Lady Buddha by the whole lake, but Diana and I kept watching fish or throwing rocks. (We also kept moving around.) Lots of picture-takers there too... XP So after playing around for a bit (also, it was HOTTT...), we took some incense sticks, prayed to Lady Buddha, put our incense sticks into the main thing, and walked off. (Ugh, I was sweating, so the paint on the incense stick came off and it looked like lipstick on my fingers... XP) So again, we tried to pray. This time, we couldn't come in at all, so we stood by the crowd of people by the entrance and prayed. After that, we wandered around... Lots and lots of going to the pond, and lots of playing around the main "road", surrounded by palm trees... @_@;; (Can't remember!) There was one time Diana took flower petals and dropped them all over my pants... ^^;; To make me look pretty... XP Then I started singing "Ridin' Dirty", using flowers... XP They see her plucking (flowers) They screamin' She try-in' to put flowers on them Actually, I can't remember the exact lyrics. All the lines are right, except the last one... ^^;; So I got hungry. I wanted Diana to come with us, but we kept wandering around. SHE WOULD NOT STOP. More sightseeing! There was that pagoda bell (which I could not get up to the third floor! -_-;;) and there was another lotus pond in the back... ^^ I bought a soda...and saw some people. It was really fun. ^^ I even got this little red rose pin-thingy! ^^! (They were handing out red and white roses--fabric, of course, and a pin to put them on the shirt.) So after that, more wandering...more wandering... Started hanging out with Ricky. Lost track of Diana... I headed to the front, where all the monks were in a circle, surrounding by other temple-worshippers. Oh, right! I forgot to tell you! When we first entered the temple, right before that "couldn't get in/too many shoes" part, they were selling birds. I thought, "Aren't Buddhists supposed to respect life???" We also saw a homeless man begging for money before we went through the gate... (Or was he praying??? o_O?) Well anyways, I was sitting under a giant bonsai pot, drinking Dr. Pepper, and there was that guy sitting right by me (I saw him while praying to Lady Buddha) with streaked-bleached spiky hair and his sunglasses on backwards. (Why do people wear their glasses backwards?) I guess it's like wearing their sunglasses on top of their head...except when your head is too big, and you gotta do that. XP (Diana and I discussed it that night. XP) Well, suddenly, the priests let out all the birds and they all flew up into the air! It was so pretty! Yellow parakeets were flocking into the air, all at once, flying around... Then I saw white doves being released into the air!!! So nice... ^^ Well, I finally found Diana (she was in that crowd by the monks) and she came up to me. There was a photographer by us (by that giant bonsai plant) and started photographing a blue/gray parakeet and I kept pointing to a yellow canary (or parakeet?) and saying, "There's another one right there..." repeatedly, but he didn't listen... Then I found my mom and Bac Minh by the kitchen area waiting in line, and they told me to get in line, but Diana and I went back to the giant bonsai plant. By that giant bonsai plant (this "giant" bonsai plant looked at least...500 pounds? And this was only the pot...), there was another plant, only maybe 100 pounds... A little dark (dark skin, I'd say 2-4 grade?) was trying to get a yellow canary from the tree. Diana successfully managed to capture the bird with her hands and let the little girl pet it. Her parents came looking for her, and she wanted a picture with the bird. But the bird bit Diana, so Diana handed the bird to the little girl. The little needed someone to hold her fan, so I offered to, but she gave it to her mom. (Of course, I'm a stranger, offering to hold something for her... XP She doesn't know me. XP) But the bird bit her while her dad (I think) tried to take a picture, and she let go and it flew away... I kept asking the girl if she was all right, but her parents walked off with her, telling her, "I told you so." and stuff like that... ^^;; So we headed to the kitchen, Diana and I. We got some food, but I found out my mom already got food for me! So I had to slide under the rails (a woman had to hold my food) and walk to my mom. My mom wanted to go home and eat, but we were lost, so we walked around everywhere... @_@ We sat down by an empty area, ate our food (GAH! Too much black pepper on mines!!), and Diana and I headed to the soda place and bought soda. After that, we went back to the eating place. Oh, while we were eating, there was a little kid crying. Diana said it was a little girl, and she's like, "Oh my gosh, they saved her bald except for her bangs." I looked back. It was an acolyte! Basically, an acolyte is the level before a monk. (And this acolyte was only...2-5??? Usually, most I see are 10-20...) It kept crying, but everyone only paid attention to their food... o_O;; I feel horrible. -_-;; After that, we all drove home... Bac Minh walked home (she's our neighbor), and after me washing up, resting (so TIRED!!! IT WAS HOT, yet fun!), and cleaning the dishes, I went on the computer...at 4 PM. (After getting Diana off, of course.) So while I was playing, my mom called me down to punish me! Yup, last night, I had to wash the dishes, and I fell asleep throwing away my schoolwork... So yeah. ^^;; I had to kneel down for an hour and pray the rosary over and over... ^^;; But something happened! My rosary broke in half while I was praying! So I had to take some wire-cutting stuff and etc. and try to fix it... I never did manage to make it perfect... So I left it there... I only had...25-15 minutes left, and I prayed using a plastic rosary. XP I went back on the computer, and at 8 PM, Ricky got on... I ate some vegetarian noodles (it was blue--mainly because of the orchids and its natural coloring rubbed off onto the noodle) and watched some T.V. Umm...I can't remember anything else. Oh yeah! Earlier, my mom needed to use my alarm clock to play CDs (Buddhist chanting), so I fell asleep...without an alarm clock. XP Monday/Yesterday Well, I don't know WHEN I woke up. No alarm clock, remember? I went on at 1 AM, after waiting for my sister to get off. I played until 6 PM, then got off to eat...something. OHH!!! Alex came home that day!!! I WAS SOO HAPPY!!! She came home from Virginia and Pennsylvania!!! YAY!!! She missed tax-free week though. She's going shopping for school next week, I think. She also wants to buy a lighter... Alex: I need to go buy a red lighter!!! Me: o_O;; YOU DON'T SMOKE, DO YOU?! Alex: No, I wanna burn things!!! Diana: YEAH!!! GO BURN HUMANS!!! Alex: ACTUALLLY, I wanted to burn paper, but OKAY! =D My brother was watching "Final Fantasy: Advent Children", and he was just finishing the credits. We ate pork together, and I went to wath T.V. He went to play "Star Ocean: Till the End of Time", but he wasn't using the computer!!! So I asked him to get on, and he let me. Also, Diana kept hogging it for MapleStory. Oh yeah... That day, we were also supposed to cut my hair, but I couldn't decide. Also, I wanted Diana to take care of Polar (giant stuffed animal polar bear), so I threw it down to her, but my mom was RIGHT next to her, so it hit her in the face... o_O;;) I was beat...BAD. -_-;; Well, couldn't decide on how to cut my hair... Around midnight, I went downstairs, Ricky and I shared some pork to eat, but my mom came out, RIGHt after we finished eating, and hit us because we were eating at midnight... -_-;; My left hand's bruised... -_-;; Oh yeah!!! There's a Buddhist temple festival down at P.A. on Sunday. Hong and Lan are gonna be there! I wish I could come... Hong's dancing. That's all I know. XP Today/Tuesday Um...woke up...7:15 AM, I guess. Umm...I listened to the radio while sleeping. I wasn't actually "sleeping", but you know that feeling you're half-awake? You're aware of your hearing, but you don't wanna open your eyes? Yup, I stayed for 2-3 hours, listening to the radio play... Hehe. ^^;; I didn't get up until...11 AM, where I went into the computer room to watch my sister play. Well, got bored, went downstairs, took some shrimp out of the freezer, put it in water (a bucket in the backyard! XP) to thaw, shuckled (which means to take off their shells) them, and grilled them (on a grill!) in a sauce... Yum. It was also gonna start to rain... o_O;; (The sky was SO DARK!) Hmm...I got on the computer around 2 PM because I was so preoccupied of cooking it... XP And I went downstairs to eat with Diana at 3 PM, but the sauce on my shrimp was...melted. -_-;; Um...my mom was at the grocery store, she just came home...etc. Helped bring in groceries. Ricky took my candy. And I gotta go. I also checked the date if I could come down for P.A. If I take Greyhound, it would only cost me about $50... Should I do it...? Hmm... Wanna get on Gunbound. (Gah, I'm turning stupider every day! @_@!) Thursday (After Posting) Oh! Hongie called me, but through my home phone. My mom picked up, and Hong said, "It's your daughter." (I'm her "father", but my mom didn't understand this. My mom thought she was CHI!!! *yells*) So after a long confusion, etc., I grabbed the phone and talked to her! She's in Houston currently! But really, I couldn't talk to her for a long time... She's lost her hyperness. *cries* OH! I visited Alex's site, and she's starting her car ride home from Virginia back to Texas!!! She says those 30 hours will be horrible... She also says her dad might get a job in Virginia and they might have to move. NOO!!! That'd be HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! *cries* (I visited the site again today, and Janice thinks I have a crush on Alex... ^^;;) Friday/Yesterday Umm...huh? I woke up...somewhen. I wanted to use the computer, but Diana was on it... And she wouldn't let me on... And eh. Oh! We were going school shopping (today was tax-free day--actually, all WEEK it was tax-free!), and I wanted to print the school supply list from the school's main site. But after lots and lots of trying to get on, I learned that the main site didn't HAVE the school supply list up. -_-;; STUPIDS. Oh! And I also spent the morning trying to fix the printer's scanner... Yes, it's been messed up ever since we BOUGHT it. I ALMOST FIXED it, but it keeps messing up again. GAH!!! I played with my hair today... Like, putting gel and whatnot and putting it in crazy styles. XP (The thing is though, my mom wanted me to send the mail, but our mailbox was a block away from our house. So I had to RUN across the street to mail it. XP) Luckily, no one was outside. XP But it didn't look THAT bad... Diana said it looked good... ^^;; So after Diana and I got changed, we went downstairs, carried the Lexmark fax/scanner/printer/copier box out to the van, put it in, and went to Wal-Mart. My mom returned the fax while Diana and I were looking at books. Then we went shopping for clothes. Oh! I found Gustavo! (His hair grew longer...and he has highlights now. o_O;;) Oh...and I saw that kid...from gym. What's-his-name... My mom left me and Diana clothes shopping, and she went to McDonald's. Diana and I went all over to find shoes, clothes, etc. We even found army-styled hats. (Earlier, I asked my sister to walk up to my mom, wearing a hat that looked like a Communist/Viet Cong hat... XP!!!) Oh...and there was a time I was wearing a pink tie... Very shiny, silk pink tie...and I couldn't get it off... XP (Took a while. XP) But wow, so many people were shopping... It was tax-free week. (Yes, in Texas, all throughout stores. They do this so people can buy more stuff for school without paying more money???) Okay, after shopping, I called my mom from McDonalds to come back and go shopping again. My mom gave me $20, and Diana and I went into McDonalds and ordered food. There was a Hispanic (Spaniard???) old woman (70-80?) who was in line that was sucking ketchup out from the little packet. I'm SORRY, but I cannot stand that... It just looks so gross... @_@;; (And the way she put ketchup onto the fries... @_@;;) Well, Diana and I ate, and we ordered something for Ricky. Later, Gustavo came to order something. There was also this Hispanic little girl (5?), who might've been the grandchild of the Hispanic lady I talked about earlier. She kept "playing tag" with me... ^^;; ("Playing tag" as in poking me, then running off... XP) Well, after shopping, we headed home, but I wanted to go to West Oaks Mall! One of the radio stations I listened to (104.1 KRBE) was there, and West Oaks Mall was only...5 minutes (?) away from my house! But no, my mom was too tired... So Diana and I brought in our clothes, gave Ricky his food, and whatnot. Diana and I started eating the Skittles we bought earlier, and trying on clothes for fun. XP (I also kept dancing to music I was listening to. XP) Then I came into Diana's room, but she wanted to rest... I watched T.V. until 6 PM, and went on. (Since I couldn't be there for my computer time, Ricky and I traded times for that day.) So yeah...I was on...talking, etc. But my mom kicked me off at 10 PM to pray to our grandpa and grandma. (In the Buddhist style, even though I was Catholic...but it didn't matter.) My mom kept yelling at how we were always on the computer, and how our grandparents (deceased now) always took care of us and how we're acting like this and shaming our ancestors... @_@;; After that, I went downstairs and ate some steak my mom cooked earlier. Then after washing the dishes, taking a bath, and etc., I went to sleep... (This was past midnight.) But I didn't sleep! I laid in bed in the dark listening to the radio. 104.1 KRBE was broadcasting from a club in Houston and just talking and stuff. I've never heard remixes of songs on the radio before. XP Hmm...at 12:45 AM, I couldn't sleep anymore!!! I couldn't sleep! So I went on the computer and played Gunbound. Ah...I kept telling myself that I would go to sleep after the next game, but it became so addicting!!! Funny thing: There was a guy whose screen name was "WendyWuHouse", and at first we thought he was a girl. But he was a guy...with a girl's name. (His favorite show is "House", and "Wu" is part of the joke...) He kept trying to convince us he was Brenda Song!!! Wendy: I was born in 1988! My best friend is Ashley Tisdale! Me: Once, on MapleStory, I met a girl who claimed to be Hillary Duff. I didn't believe her, but she tried SOO HARD to convince me. It's hard to believe whose famous nowadays. Random Person: I hate Hillary Duff. Wendy: I AM BRENDA SONG!!! *starts singing* We're all in this together... Once we know who we are... Me: YOU WEREN'T EVEN IN THAT MOVIE!!!! (OH MY GOSH! I WAS UP ALL NIGHT!!!) Ah...it felt SO WEIRD to be awake at 6 AM, and to watch Saturday cartoons! Nowadays, I'm lazy and don't wake up until noon. I had that feeling again when I stayed at my cousin, Christina's house... Ah...I ate cereal, and watched a bit of Yu-Gi-Oh! (I don't like it, yet I couldn't stop watching...) Then I went biking for a bit in the morning. At first, I tried to fix my hand break...while mosquitoes were biting me to death. -_-;; I came back...around 8 PM...and I was SOO TIRED I hopped into bed...and didn't wake up until noon. o_O;; (WEIRD.) I woke up...and did hardly anything. I did watch "Lilo and Stitch: Stitch Has a Glitch". It's sad, but not as sad as the first movie. ^^ We all changed, and at 1-2 PM, all of us headed off to the dentist's office!!! Diana, Ricky, and I all went in first, then my mom came later. My sister and I were reading magazines about child care. XP (It was interesting... XP) A bit later, my sister and I headed off into Barnes and Nobles! I needed to buy "Rebecca" for my summer reading. Yah. So after getting it, I bought it (candy accidentally fell out of my pockets when I got my wallet out of my pocket...) and OH!!! Do you guys watch "Dead Like Me"? I saw the girl who played George (main character) in that store!!! It was HER!!!!!! But I didn't say anything... I told my sister, yeah, but I didn't see her anytime later... My brother bought "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" and "Star Ocean: Till the End of Time" with my mom's $40 at Best Buy... -_-;; (His appointment was done by then, I think.) Uhh...my sister came back and forth... @_@ When it was my turn for the appointment, my mom and dentist (she's Asian--she says I look like a Korean actor... -_-;;) talked with each other. The dentist had an intern there, and she was showing the intern how to do so-and-so--using me as the example! XP The intern was African-American, with glasses and curled hair, I think. (After I see someone, I don't forget how they look... XP Unless they grow up. ^^;;) The dentist and intern were talking about how that internship place wasn't a very good place to work and stuff... And after rinsing, I went off into the waiting room. An African woman with three-four children came in, and they talked a bit, and then I left to go look around. I went to GameStop, and Best Buy and blah... @_@ Oh! Remember that old Hispanic lady who sucked ketchup out of the packet??? She was sitting in a nail salong in that shopping center. XP (She was RIGHT next to the window. XP) I liked playing with the video games, and I want "Animal Crossing: Wild World"!!! When I headed back to the dentist's office, I actually saw my mom and brother at Barnes and Nobles, looking for me... @_@;; Well, we all headed home... Oh, it started raining a bit. But it was HOT rain. You know when it's hot, and it starts to rain, it's like a very WARM rain? Yup. So we went home, and I got on the computer. It rained pretty badly... And once, lightning hit the house, and the power went off for a second. The computer restarted (GRR!) and the phone lines went DEAD. I finally talked to Viet again! I miss him! Viet is a Vietnamese guy who I knew in sixth grade. He went off to high school (and moved to Bridge City) when I went to seventh grade. Next year, he'll be in 11th grade, and his school starts on the 9th. ^^;; Poor him... Um...Symone wants me to play Flyff!!! I want to play, but the download is SO ANNOYING!
