Start: 12:27 AM CST
Hola everyone! Remember I told you that I was going to watch the Perseids Meteor Shower? Well, I saw seven shooting stars! It was so cool! But...it would've been cooler without all the biting mosquitoes and the human-eating frogs...
Oh, Mohit came home yesterday! I was so happy! He was a bit jet-lagged...and hungry. He basically stayed a whole day in Chicago waiting in line all day (literally!) for tickets... Oy.
We both went to sleep around five in the morning. Bwahaha.
Well, today, I went to go see Rush Hour 3 with my friends (again)! Kim had to pick me and Mohit up, but Kim didn't know where I lived. Soo... I started walking to Mohit's house, and on the way there, I was kidnapped! By who? Kim! And Long and Mohit were there too! (Shooot. I thought I would've gotten there earlier than Kim!)
So we got to the theatre and met up with a new guy. Lee? Li? (I'm not sure how to spell it.) We also met up with Risa, Awi (who were both holding hands, and skipping into the theatre!), Justin, and Taylor.
The movie was okay. It kinda loses its taste after seeing it a second time. It was fun to enjoy first, but like I said in my other post... It's just fluff.
We spent the entire time talking (more like the guys!) about computers. Then we headed over to Ichigo to have some sushi! Yay!
All of us had so much sushi! It really great! I sat with Awi, Risa, and Mohit, and ocassionally took food from them. It was an accident though. Mohit said, "Pick one." I thought he meant, "You can have one." So I grabbed! Turns out, he can't make his own decisions. He has to ask someone else to do it for him! (So you're gonna ask Risa to choose what college you go to too?!)
The food was really great, but so much! I spent $20 on two plates of sushi. That's sushi for ya.
Oh, and me, Awi, and Risa kept sputtering random words of Japanese while eating.
And...the sushi store was owned by Chinese people. Irooooonic, isn't it?
After that, we stood outside, talked, and commented on how I was doing something illegal. (In the area of Houston where we went to go eat, it's illegal for children under 16 to be wandering around the city after 10 PM. You can't even go to the mall at 10 PM, even with parents!!!)
So Kim drove me, Awi, and Mo home. I got the computer, and now I'm here.
Mohit's a time traveler! Yes, inside joke!!! MUAHAHA!!! (I've got to stop saying that!)
Oh, and the friend that stopped talking to me is starting to talk to me again. I taught her how to do Liquify on Photoshop. Oh, funny results, I must say.
I think that's it. That's all, folks! Bye!
Risa must bake cookies! Or buy them! Whatever works, muahaha!!!

Perseids Meteor Shower Tonight!
Start: 9:00 PM CST
I know, I know, I'm posting so late at night, but I really want to get out of the house soon!
Today is the Perseids Meteor Shower, which I will watch from my backyard (if city lights allow me) from 10 PM to 2 AM.
Oh gosh, it's going to be so pretty! So let's get this post done with!
Yesterday, my mom drove me and my siblings to the theatre and we watched "Rush Hour 3" along with Minh, Moonie, Annie, and Minh's friends. It was a nice movie, but I felt like it was only fluff: There was no real fiber to the story, you know?
I'm going to go watch it again though: I'm going on a picnic with friends on Tuesday and we'll be stopping by the theatre.
After the movie, we went to Wal-Mart and bought groceries.
My mom was cooking chicken at night outside, and it attracted a lot of flies, which attracted a lot of frogs. Gosh, oh gosh, we have TONS of frogs in our house! It's funny though: I'm not really scared of them anymore, and they're adorable, even! I call all of them "Kero-san" though. Hehe.
Today, I went to church with my dad and siblings. I said "hi" to a few friends from church, but it seems as if they forgot about me...or that our relationship isn't as close anymore...
We went to HK4 later, where my family and I went into a restaurant and had lunch. There was a man sitting in the table behind my dad who kept staring at me... It was really creepy. His daughter was also looking at me, and she whispered to her dad, "He's gay." (I can read lips. It's something you pick up when you hang out with Deaf people.)
It kind of made me angry, but I decided not to let that bother me.
I met Khang right after I got out of the restaurant. It looked like he just started puberty, hehe (pimples everywhere, ew). He had been in Vietnam for a month now, where he had six cups of coffee a day. (His "cup" of coffee is actually three cups of coffee, so he drank about eighteen cups of coffee a day.)
Wow. How could he drink so much coffee in the heat?! He walked along with me to buy sandwiches for my mom. We talked, and he eventually left later.
I later found him in the food court, with his sister (holding a black Monokuromu pig plushie in her hand) and her friends. Khang didn't want me to hang with him because his aunt will yell at him if she sees me with him.
Oh, want to know something crazy/weird/funny/mean? In the sandwich shop, hen Khang's aunt told him to come with her, he asked if he could hang out with his friends for a little bit. (Of course, he's only 11-12, and I'm 15.) His aunt had a worried look on her face. (I'm not going to do anything to your nephew, gosh!!!)
Khang later told me that it was because she thought I was 21. The heck?! I DO NOT LOOK 21!!!
I'm not a bad influence! (Do I look like that???)
But...I know that she was just trying to watch out for her nephew.
We went home later, and I've been on the computer since...5 PM? Yeah.
Mohit's coming home tomorrow!!! Yay! I miss my big brother...
And you want to know a little secret?
Mohit's a time traveler!!!
Well, I guess that's it for now. The meteor shower starts in less than an hour. I'll see you guys later! Bye!

Dad's Home...Grr...
Start: 12:25 AM CST
Hey everyone! What's up? I haven't had much of a day today...
My dad came home today! But, you know, his manners are atrocious. He came out, commanded, "Travis, cook me something.", waited two minutes, said, "You cook too slow!" and just grabbed something from out the fridge. Grr... (And he didn't even eat what I cooked later!)
I was basically pissed the entire night, and I think he noticed. But this is exactly how he treated me the last time he came home.
...Oy.
I guess that's it. I went to go mail some letters (walking in hot rain!!!), and Said's brothers were cutting grass. Josue and Alfredo were outside playing basketball. Ah, only two more weeks, and school starts.
Well, short post today.
Oh yeah. I also managed to make a friend angry. We were talking about eating other animals, and I was explaining to her how people eat frogs, kangaroos, alligators, stuff like that, and she kept telling me what I was saying wasn't normal. It's like if you and another person are two different religions. You have to respect each other's opinions, even if you don't agree to them themselves. I told her that all cultures had different styles of eating different animals, but no, she went on and kept telling me I was wrong and then proceeded onto name-calling, calling me a "nerd/geek that spends all his time on Photoshop"... I don't even know what Photoshop had to do with the topic, but whatever. I forgive her, but I don't know if she forgives me...
She probably blocked me on AIM. Actually, I KNOW she did. Oy.
Well, talk to you later. Good night, okay? Bye.

Noo!!! My Utusbokazura (Wrong Word)!!!
Start: 12:12 AM CST
Hey everyone! Thanks for everyone that's visited! It has really made me happy too. No one comes by anymore, so you've really lifted my soul. Thanks again!
Oh, I got in touch with Hinaru again. I miss that lovely ol' guy. I wonder if his studies are getting any better... Hmm.
Anyways, let's get on with it!
Yesterday, my mom hired some people to cut our grass together. However, I didn't know that until I woke up about two in the afternoon. But it was too late...
They killed my Venus flytraps!!! NOO!!!
You heard me! One day while watering the plants, I found two Venus flytraps that so happened to be in my yard. They were so adorable, and every day, I would come water them and watch how their progress went...
I promised myself that I would take them out of the yard and put them in a pot, but I never got to it...
...Now, my Venus flytraps are dead!!! DEAD!!! I'm sad now!!!
Oh, for Sayuri, Venus flytrap in Japanese is ³à¤¤¸o (akai ryu). I think...
(I met a Japanese girl who wants to improve her English on MyOtaku, so it's really cool!)
I also got in touch with Mohit again! Ah, I miss him so! I think we've gotten closer! He's coming home from India on the 13th. When I got in touch with him, he was in Bombay. He'll be heading to London, then back home. Yay!!!
He also said that he found something cute that he wanted to buy. One thing, I've never heard Mohit say "cute" before, secondly, I've never heard a guy except for me say "cute" before, and lastly, I thought he was talking about clothes! But no, he says it's a secret... He's being suspicious. Hmm...
I went to go play tennis with Sue, Janice, Alex, Kathy, Nickkie, and Whitney! At first, we talked about who would be who in the "Alice in Wonderland" costume party. Then we played. It was really fun! But, the tennis ball, whenever I hit it, it kept ALMOST hitting Sue! Poor her...
There were also two Asian guys in the other side of the tennis court, across the fence, that were playing. Later, two girls came to watch them, and then two Asian girls and an Asian guy walking with their dog came by and sat on the bleachers opposite of the tennis court.
There were a few guys playing soccer on the field too.
...I never realized, but the school almost seems...alive in the summer.
Oh, right! Ashley called me and asked if I could come to her Sweet 16... Shooot. My mom just got back from surgery, so I would have no ride to her house. It sucks... Janice and Kathy turned her down too, so it made me even sadder...and guiltier...
Today... What did I do...? I ate (soup and spring rolls!). That's it.
Oh yeah! My rosary came today, and all the beads are uneven! But it's still pretty cool...
...and when I went to go get the mail, I saw one of the neighbor girls screaming like crazy and running the heck away from a little chihuahua dog. Alfredo and Josu¨¦ were also laughing at her.
...I think that's it.
Oh, my dad's coming home soon! Yay!!!
Short post (not really!), my dears, but I'm going to sleep now. Good night! Bye!

Atsui Con...And I Didn't Go!!!
Start: 12:01 AM CST
Hoya guys! Guess what? Today was Atsui Con...and...I didn't go!!! I know, it sucks, right? My friends Ashley, Janay, Mariah, and...my friend whose name I forgot all went together! They took a lot of pictures, and I just saw them! Really cool!
However, I will be going to the next anime convention: Oni-Con, which is in October.
I've really done nothing today. And it's the truth.
Trangie just got back home from Missouri, but she got grounded because she didn't help out with the church. You see, she went with the church, and the people who came had to help around. Well, she just left work and walked around.
She told me that she couldn't work because everyone was all cluttered and there were so many customers. (They were selling food.)
Oh oh oh! For Halloween, Sue and the group (plus me) will cosplay as McGee's "Alice in Wonderland"! It's like the original one, only a horror story.
In the McGee's version, Alice's parents died because their house burned down. Alice became traumatized, and she was sent to the crazy house. In there, she started getting dreams about going to a place called Wonderland.
Pretty scary, right?
I'm going to be the White Rabbit, that's always late for a very important date. Hehe.
Anyways, I should go to sleep now. Good night!

No Church?
Start: 2:19 AM CST
Yah yeah, I'm up at 2 in the morning! Muahaha! It's going to be a short post, probably.
Today we couldn't go to church because An Suc, who was supposed to drive us... Well, his mom made him to go the temple today.
It's so weird... I mean, my mom asked her to take care of her while she was sick, but she hasn't even been to our house since the day she left the hospital. Brr...
And what great timing to tell your son to go to the temple the day after you ask him to drive us to church?
Oy...
We just stayed home and did the entire rosary.
Grr... And today was the day that we planned to go grocery shopping!!!
Well, my mom was craving milk, and both of us couldn't drive, so me and my brother biked to Walgreens... My mom got a lot of stuff: Milk, soda, chips, etc. (Does he remember that we biked there?!)
The cashier was acting a bit around me... Huh. Wonder why.
Anyways, we biked home, with my brother biking very slow as to balance the weight of his stuff. Oy...
Anyways, I got home first, and my brother, about five or ten minutes later.
I talked with Mohit again. It seems like I'm drifting away from him and Risa... I'm sad now.
Oh, I forgot to tell you! Saturday was the big mass in Missouri! I couldn't go because, well, my dad's at work and my mom just got back from the hospital, so she can't go far. I was really looking forward to that trip, but eh... I'm fine with not going.
Vi went there... She was one of the dancers. Nickkie went with her family, and Trangie, Linda, and the rest of their family went too.
I felt kind of sad that I promised them that I would be there (and see Trangie after two years!), but the surgery just happened to come up...
Trangie, if you see this post, I'm sorry!
Well, that's it. Not much of a post, eh?
I'll talk to you guys later! Bye!
P.S. I have two new pen pals now! A guy from Argentina and a girl from Germany! We write back and forth in Spanish... It's really fun!

A Week After the Surgery!
Start: 11:47 PM CST
Hiya guys! I haven't been around in more than a week! I wanted to post about some stuff, but I thought, I'm going to post when someone comments my other post. I really liked that one, but only person ever commented! You all make me sad.
If you want to see the post before this one, click this: Original posts, dudes!
Well, my mom's doing fine. (Don't understand? Go read my post before.) On Wednesday, me and my siblings went to the neighborhood store, bought some roses (twelve!), and An Suc headed to the hospital.
Note: Yes Jade, An Suc is a name!
He dropped us, and went with his girlfriend somewhere, while me and my siblings went to go visit Mom. She seemed better, and she seemed like she could talk. However, she was still in pain and weak. We helped her for a bit, however, later on, they had to clean her room, so we went to go eat in the cafeteria.
Seeing my anti-social siblings standing as if they didn't know what they were doing... It's saddening.
Anyways, after lunch, we came upstairs and visited our mom. However, my older brother kept screaming, "This is boooooring...! I wanna go home!" My brother's an idiot. He'd rather stay at home, on the computer, rather than help our home after surgery. He's so heartless.
Anyways, because of my brother's constant complaining, my mom just asked me to take him home.
An Suc and his girlfriend came by soon, so I said "bye" to my mom, and kissed her on both cheeks, and she returned the favor. As we were walking to the elevator, I swear I could see An Suc eyes were red and solemn...
Oh yeah. Cool thing that happened on the elevator. I didn't mention this yet, but my sister brought her HP7 book and read it there. Well, on the elevator, as we were heading to Mom's room again, a nice woman commented about her book and asked her how far she was. Diana replied, "600." or something like that. (Hehe, books bring people together!)
Another funny thing: When the doctor came to check up on Mom, he thought Diana was a boy. (She had cut her hair so short, you see.) Blahhh. And when he asked for her name, he thought Diana had said "Daniel." ...Oh my gosh.
Anyways, we headed home, and that was that. At night, Suc Kung and Suc Pah came over and slept in the other living room, even though we offered them the guest room.
Note: Jade, I think the Romaji of the people's names that I know are confusing, so I'll switch to Korean Romaji, okay? From now on, they're: An Suk, Suk Kung, and Suk Poh. *laughs* (I would use "sook", but that's not correct.)
Scratch that. Those Romajizations are kind of ugly to me. Blah.
Next day! Well, the day before, Mom said that I should only bring myself, since Ricky and Diana were just a hassle to have around. An Suk drove me to the hospital. I brought some stuff up for her, and continued playing Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. Oh yeah. Did I mention? I've been playing on my GBA (yes, the one from 2001!) while my mom's been asleep. It gives me something to do when she doesn't need anything.
I found out one of the doctors (or nurse?) at the hospital was one of our neighbors! How weirddd... We never really bothered meeting the neighbors around our house (well, when we moved here, we had no neighbors!), so it was really cool.
...Well, by neighbor, I meant that she lived a block or two away from our house. Yahh.
Well, my mom had decided that it was time for her to come home! Also, the doctor decided that it was okay then too! As my mom was getting all her..."things" (like, the water that links from a cable into your arm?) taken out, my mom kept mentioning that the hospital bills were too much, but the nurse who was helping her kept saying that "health comes before money." Hehe.
As a special thanks, my mom handed all the employees that helped her a red rose. (Remember the twelve red roses me and my siblings bought for her the day before?)
My mom was wheelchaired down, and we waited in the lobby until An Suc, his girlfriend, and Suc Poh came down and helped us.
They stayed in the house for a while, ate, chatted, and then later left.
Suc Poh was supposed to help my mom this entire week, but she hasn't come in since that Friday. Blah.
The week's passed by, and the same thing has been happening. I swear though. I think my siblings could care less about my mom's health. When she came back, they were like, "Eh." and continued on, playing online games on their computer...
Oh yeah? Wanna know something cool? The flowers that my siblings bought my mom: they have NOT wilted yet! My mom says that they're still alive because me and my siblings' love keeps it alive, but that just sounds a bit corny to me. *laughs*
Anyways, I don't think anything else has been happening...
OH YEAH!!!!!!! Mohit!!! Mohit! My older brother from another mother. (Did I just say that?!) He's in India right now, and he's doing good. He told me that he couldn't find me a scarf because all he could find were for women, or they were too expensive. I told him he was an idiot, because he said that instead of "I'm back!" I really really thought he was back! Unfortunately, he was still in India, using the computer at...4 or 5 in the morning? Bwahaha.
I miss him. He told me on the show "Indian Idol" (yes, there's an "Indian Idol"!), there was a contestant that looked like me! Well, I was bored, so I decided to do some research. He looks NOTHING like me... Then again, Mohit can't tell Asian (ER, EAST ASIANS!) boys and girls apart. It's kind of funny.
Well, that's it for now, childrens! I shall retire for the night, and I'll come post...soon!
Good night all!

Day One of the Surgery
Start: 10:55 PM CST
Heya guys! I'm back! Today, my mom got her surgery, and she's starting to feel really better. How about I explain it to you guys?
I got up around 6 PM, and An Suc took our van and drove Mom to the hospital. We waited there, and my mom was taken into surgery about 9 PM...
An Suc's girlfriend came, and I basically chatted with her about school and stuff like that. She left later, though, to pick up An Suc's mom.
At noon, the surgery was done, and the doctor came and talked to me. However, when he saw me and discovered that I was his patient's son...he gave his weird look to me... Weiiird. Then he shook my hand verrry softly. Suspicious.
An Suc and I went to go eat at the cafeteria, where his girlfriend and mom came. They left earlier than me, and I stayed, where some nurses were putting my mom into her room.
I basically stayed there, watched TV while she was unconcious.
Oh, wanna know something retarded that happened while I was in there? The nurse said that after the surgery, she couldn't eat or drink anything except "ice chips." The nurse's Hispanic accent got in her way, and I pulled up a "one eyebrow up" dumbfounded face, replying, "Hot chips...?" Then she repeated herself, annunciating, "ICE chips."
Man, I feel retarded. *laughs*
An Suc and the group came back later, and Suc Fah stayed with my mom while I went home. I left around 3 PM, went home, ate, talked a bit to Suc Kung in Cantonese and Mandarin (yay, practice!), and quickly rushed out of the house, realizing that I spent too much time talking with Suc Kung and not eating!
I stayed with my mom, basically, and helped my mom out until...7:30 PM. Then An Suc picked me up. (Bwah, I told him to wait in the lobby, and when I was downstairs, he was up there!!!)
We went to a restaurant later, called Saigon Pagolac. In my dumbfoundedness again, I thought An Suc said, "Saigon Parking Lot"... Oh gosh, what's wrong with me today?! We met up with his sister, Chi Thanh and her husband, Anh Huang (or Huan?), who I thought, at first, was An Suc's friend. Turns out, they're brothers-in-laws!
MANNNN... Why do I feel so retarded today?!
We ate spring rolls, and I sat in a chair where all the oil kept flicking in my face.
Let me explain: Have you ever gone to those Asian places where you grill your own meat or seafood on your table? Well, they had that, but they put SO MUCH OIL. I wasn't even sitting that close to it and it flung oil on me over and over. (Ow ow ow ow ow!)
An Suc's girlfriend came sooner, and she joined in the eating.
We left soon, and An Suc drove me home. Then he walked to his house. Ehhhh...
I gathered my brother and sister and did our routinely prayer at night, and Suc Kung and Suc Fah came over.
That's all. Today, I went to to the hospital alone, and with An Suc's family. My siblings didn't come. Also, the doctor questioned why Mom's husband (my dad!) wasn't there... It doesn't seem supportive that Dad's not there when Mom's in surgery, huh? But, dad's far away at work now, and he couldn't make it. He did, however, call over and over. But then, all he asked was, "Did you eat yet?" (Who cares if I ate or not!) and "Is she conscious?" (That's a bit better...)
Yesterday, nothing special happened. I went to the orthodontist (first time in three months!), and my family made egg rolls. That's it.
I'm also in search for my father's missing leather luggage bag, and a blue prayer book... Oh where could they be...
That also reminds me! I lost my retainer at home before I went to the hospital! Turns out, I left it in the pantry while getting some cereal.
Bwahaha. I really DO feel dumb today.
Good night all!

Only Two More Days...
Start: 12:43 AM CST
Hi guys! I'm starting to get into the routine of posting every now and then, which I guess is a good thing, right?
Oh, and Vanessa! Thanks on the tip! If you don't talk back, I'll remember that it's not you! *laughs*
Sunday was pretty good, I guess. But oh my gosh!!! I kept dozing off in church! I mean, I didn't really fall asleep, but my eyelids started getting really heavy...
After that, we ate at Burger King. The workers there were really...unpleasant, let's just say. Then one of the workers said they wanted to go eat at McDonald's (how ironic is that?!), and got yelled at. Wow.
We went to go refill the water afterwards, and then we went home.
I stayed home. However, my sister went to Barnes and Nobles to buy the seventh Harry Potter book and go grocery shopping with my mom.
My sister spends all her time locked up in her room reading that darn book now. Hehe.
Oh, I have to tell you guys. This Wednesday is the day that my mom is going into surgery. So for this week and part of next, my mom will be in the hospital and I have to stay home and take of everything. It'll be hard, but I think I can do it.
That means...I have to drop my "sleeping late" habit! It's past midnight and I'm not even asleep. Gahhhhh...
Anyways, today... Not much happened. Around 3 or 4 PM, I went over to Aaron's house to return his dad's sandpaper and sander. Aaron just took back the sander and said I could keep the sandpaper. (Yay!)
I stayed longer than I thought... An hour, even. His friend Eric was there, and he showed me a Japanese cosplay vs. American cosplay website online. It was pretty biased, I have to say.
Oh yeah! I brought my staff because I wanted to show his dad it (even though he never got to see it)! Aaron and Eric were doing some perverted things with it, let's just say.
Then we went into his room, where we played with his guitar.
I figured it was time to go home, and so I biked home with my staff.
My mom went grocery shopping again! She said she's gonna worry about us while she's in the hospital, so she stocked up on more stuff, just in case we don't pig out on stuff.
Oh yeah! My mom's going to let me cook while she's gone!!! Yay!!!
...but, I can only use the oven. (Darrrnnn...)
Our oven's electronic, you see. You set the time, and it turns itself off whenever it should.
What else... Nothing much happened today...
Well, you guys. I might not be on much after today. I might post tomorrow and then after tomorrow, but after that, that's it. I'll come back every now and then to post, okay? Until then, I have to be the replacement mom. Bwhahaha. That sounds funny.
Bye everyone!

Harry Potter Seventh Book Premiere Party!
Start: 11:34 PM CST
Hiya guys! I've been having a pretty good weekend so far. I don't really feel like posting... For some reason, I've been feeling a bit depressed lately. I'm jump into these feelings of depression every now and then lately, but I don't know why...
Anyways, I'm still gonna post. So...let's start with Thursday!
On Friday, my siblings and I went to go get our teeth clean. I took along my Lord of the Flies book, and I managed to finish it! Phew! I'm done with summer reading!
In the dentist's office, my mom finally let me go to the Harry Potter seventh book premiere party!
Ew, what a mouthful! Let's just say "HP7 party", okay?
I was so happy, so I tried calling Becky over and over. She wouldn't answer right away though.
Afterwards, I went into Barnes & Noble, where my sister was buying a stack of manga. After that, we headed to Starbucks and she bought chai tea. My mom was shopping around...
We headed home afterwards, and in the evening, I went and tried to finish my staff...
Now Friday!
I woke up around...10 AM or noon, and I biked to Aaron's house, borrowed some sandpaper and a sander...block thingy, and finished my staff! It wasn't as professional as I wanted it to be, but eh. It's good enough, right?
My mom finished sewing up the cloak we had planned out last night! Yay! A cloak!
Around 5 PM, after eating, my mom drove me to First Colony Mall, where I met up with Becky.
We, at first, started talking about our cosplays. You see, I was doing Nymphadora Tonks (yes, a girl!), and Becky was doing Fluffy.
And since I was Tonks...guess what? I had to dye my hair PINK!!!
Becky started taking a bunch of stuff out: sandpaper (I had asked her for it earlier, but didn't need it anymore), two doggy puppets for her cosplay, and so on...
We, not knowing what we were doing, started walking around the mall.
People kept staring all the time though. I mean, two Asian kids wearing ALL BLACK. Yes, we were wearing ALL black. Plus, I was carrying a wooden staff around! People just looked at us like we were emo (no, we're not!), or weirdoes!!!
Becky bought McDonald's, and as she was eating outside, I went to go spike my hair.
Akhil came a bit afterwards...
All the people started pouring in, all with their cute adorable Hogwarts uniform and such!
Meanwhile, Becky went crazy with the pink hairspray, and just dousted my black clothes in it!!! ARGH... Akhil helped spray too, but he wasn't as crazy as Becky.
I ran in to the bathroom, where Nicole and Jo saw me with...pink ears. (Bwahaha!!!)
I met up a lot with Becky's friends too, and some friends that I met at the skating rink (and Anime Matsuri!) in April!!!
Akhil and I started screaming Harry Potter spells at each other. Bwahahaha.
By this time, Becky had started putting on her Fluffy costume. You see, earlier, she had just been wearing ALL black... A black shirt, black skirt, long black socks, and black shoes. One girl thought asked, "Are you Cho?" went Mariah came later. Hehe, that was so cute!
But she changed...in the middle of PUBLIC!!! You see, the girl's bathroom was filled with people, so she slipped on her jeans, and pulled off her pants...in FRONT of a crowd of little kids! (We were by the fortune-telling booth.)
Also, Becky's two other heads were the doggy puppets I played with earlier. They were so cute, and I just played with them the entire time I was there!
A lot of people were looking at me, saying, "Oh, my gosh, he is so cool!" Or, "I wish I could speak Korean." (Um...I live in the United States!!!)
More girls later started pointing to me and screaming like fangirls, saying stuff like, "Oh my gosh! He is so hot!!!" Oh my gosh, I've never gotten this much attention in my life!
Even random Asian guys I heard from across the hallway of the bookstore pointed at me and said, "Wow, that guy's got some cool hair..."
Being a cosplayer is so much fun... Hehe. (I swear I was smiling the entire time I was there!!!)
This basically went on the ENTIRE time... I feel so flattered, hehe.
The costume party was next, and when I went upstage, everyone just laughed at the thought of a BOY doing a cosplay of Tonks! It was ironic, however, that the girl who went before me was Tonks as well! (Shoooot, hers was better than mines!!)
In the end, a little girl who was cosplaying as the Weeping Willow won! Becky won second place!!! YAY!!!
I'm surprised the guy who did Hagrid didn't win. Hmm....)
A bunch of us met up and tried to play Tag in the bookstore. I was paired up with Akhil, and we had to find Becky. But oh gosh, it was so hard to find her!
Oh yeah! While searching for Becky and her friends, I met up with that girl from Travis! I waved hi to her, and someone asked, "Who's that?" She replied, "Oh, that's just Asian Slave Man. He sells himself for money." (My thought then: HUH?!?!)
And then...almost midnight. EVERYONE started crowding around us, so we couldn't move AT ALL!!! It was stuffy, and so hard to breathe!
Akhil's parents went in line to buy the book... Oh yeah, and Becky left. Since Becky won the costume contest, she got SECOND PLACE IN LINE for the book!!! Grrs...
Me and Akhil went outside to breathe, and Akhil had to leave shortly afterwards, when his parents came outside after buying the book.
Then, there were a group of girls who cosplayed as Ravenclaws talking about me. All I heard was "Stick boy" and that's it... Hmm.
I started to walk around the store to front, where I sat on a bench. There was this girl, black, probably about my age, with her brother, and she had asked me if I bought the book yet. We got into conversation, and probably went on talking for, probably, five minutes, and she had left.
Ahhh...it's rare to meet people like that nowadays.
It was strange too... When I first got to the mall, and I held open the door to a woman with kids, her face was just exclaiming with happiness, as if no one had held a door open for her in years.
Wow. City folk are weird. *laughs*
After that, a group of Asians started passing by, whispering, "Ask him!" "No way! If you ask him, I'm gonna hit..."
Then an Asian guy comes out from the group, scans me from head to toe (eh?), and asks, "Hey, can we get a picture of you?"
Me, not knowing what to do, just replied with a small "Sureeee...."
The girl (high school? College?) got so happy, and said, "Wait! I want to be in the picture! No wait, you take the picture!"
It was so funny to see her reaction!
And then, as we finish the picture, my mom starts waving to him, and one of the guys starts laughing.
Oh boy.
Well, my mom thought they were my friends, but they were just random people who wanted to take pictures with a cosplayer. No big deal.
Oh yeah. Did I mention that we wandered around for quite a while, trying to look for an open gas station?
We were almost out!!! I got so scared...
When we DID find one, there were a group of black guys screaming to a Middle Eastern man about buying chips.
I'm not sure if they do this in other cities, but when night comes, gas stations lock all their doors, and you have to pay via window for anything you want.
I had only been living here for two years, and this was the first time I've seen this. Huh.
Well, I ate, showered, then went to sleep around...2 AM. That was fun.
Now...today!
I woke up around 1 or 2 PM, and stayed on the computer all day. Well, not really. I did laundry and I began watching Heroes again. I miss it, and it's getting REALLY good.
Wow you guys...that was a SUPER LONG POST. I haven't done a long one in WEEKS. Hehe. You guys are lucky...or unlucky, however you wish to view it.
I'm heading to bed now. Good night, you guys!
Edit: Oh shoot. I tore Aaron's dad's foamy sanding thingy!!! NOOO!!!
