Start: 9:22 PM CST Sunday In church, when I first came in, I went to go help Lac Hong with Social Studies homework. Then after that, I went over to the bake sale and started icing cupcakes. Viet Ngu...was...what did we do again? I found out Teresa (or was it Theresa?) is Thi's cousin! (NO WAY!!!) Khang was there too. For Confirmation, we sat outside and sang...and talked... Chi kept doing homework and wanting to go to Confirmation 2B's side... Na Nhi left early to do some Vietnamese ao dai modeling at U of H (University of Houston)... Err...after mass, we went to Wal-Mart, where I FINALLY bought my scientific notation (or whatever it's called) calculator!!! My mom also tried to get me a guitar from there (what the heck?), but all the strings were broken. (Gee, how useful.) Umm...after that, my mom went to go eat mam with Suc Fah, which she hadn't had in over 15 years. She came back around 10, I think. Vu was at Wal-Mart when I came home... Shoot. Monday In the morning, I kept encouraging Vu to go talk to...someone, but he didn't want to go. He said to wait until after the morning bell rings. (Huh...?) He even said that someone's picture onto his cell phone. Aww... In IPC, we did test corrections! In Transition, I just tried to learn Korean from Karen, but all I did was learn Romaji-like things. But still, it's good. And we just talked about our own languages. Also, Japanese (something) Week is starting at our school today! You see, Mr. Irving, the teacher in the Media academy, won a free trip to Japan! There, he documented the areas, customs, etc. And then, this year, he took those videos, edited them, and made them into informational little videos for the school. In Lunch, a boy named Derrick sat with Miriam! He played Cat's Cradle with her and such... Other times, he was quiet. I went to go talk to Shoaib. I found out he works at McDonald's! And that he's Muslim! But if he's Muslim, isn't meat-eating now allowed? So how can he work at a place that serves meat? Hmm... *imitates Uncle's voice* I need to do research! In Fitness, when we were walking around the track, we left Kai (somewhere) and I was joking around, asking Raul, "Hey, wait for your boyfriend." (You see, they're always joking about being married and such.) But Lauren thought I said it to her, and she became real depressed. I didn't really understand what happened until Raul told me. She used to have a boyfriend that she was real close with, like best friends even. But one day, they broke up. And she still hasn't gotten over that fact. Raul wanted me to avoid her for the rest of the period. Dominique threatened to beat me up. And so forth. But I really didn't mean it... In Robotics Club, I did some essay writing but later went to the Presentation group. We talked about it, and we needed to make a slideshow and movie (30 seconds). So Ashley went to go find Kaitlin (spelling???), and Janice and I went to go find Ashley. Later, we all met up with each other, and went into the Media room, where Kaitlin was ALMOST about to sneak off with camera equipment...until Mr. Irving (yes, the same guy who went to Japan) caught her and made her sign papers. And I asked him how his trip to Japan was and such. So we started filming. We caught a moment where Nam and Zach were fighting each other...like crazy. We recorded it. Yup. *laughs* AGHHHH. Our bus was late...AGAIN! Well, I saw Ivan, and talked to him! He signed that he was coming from woodshop. Then Kaether jumped in and said, "I know sign language!" Nohemi asked me to introduce her to him. And Kaether said something. He said, "He is so cute! If he weren't Deaf, I'd..."' (I forgot the rest.) I translated this: "He's gay... He says he thinks you're cute." (I think he was confused though.) Kaether saw that I was translating what he said and he said, "DON'T TELL HIM THAT! Boy, I'm gonna stick this cell phone up yo butthole!" (He's violent like that. *scoffs*) I had to translate again between Vi and Ivan. Ivan had his address, but they wanted to find his subdivision. But he didn't know that... When I got home, Ricky ate my salad. GRR. Today In the morning, I was talking to Ivan, and he said to got to know Vi more better. He also asked me something about something on the bus, but I don't know if I should translate... (Guy, girl. Making out. Bus. "On top of each other.") I think I misunderstood the last part though. Umm...Ivan was questioning about that thing with what happened to him yesterday. About a guy calling him "cute". Shoaib signed, "Aww... What a cute couple." (Actually, he signed "sweetheart", a sign I wasn't familiar with.) Ivan called Shoaib gay. He did the same with Vu. Also, I learned the word for "Photoshop"! (There's ACTUALLY a sign for that!) You see, Shoaib's English binder has a photo-edited picture of newspaper clippings (in a different language), splattered with blood. On the front of it. Yeah. Ummm... P.E. I went to go the weight room and drew Heartless. (Created my own, actually.) In the form of a butterfly/elephant a flower ghost. Pretty. In DgaA, we're still working on our chimera animals. My rabbit/starfish (err... "rabbish"? "starbit"?) is turning out quite nicely. In Lunch, I sat with Rodrigo at first today, then went over to Ivan. Forgot what we talked about. Vu still won't talk to...that person. But he suspected me of something. (GASP...) In Geometry, we did a work thingy. I worked with Elizabeth, and I got CONFUSED! We did it right, but we mixed some things with each other. (Sorting formulas, charts, etc.) GUH. It was stressful. Umm...I went to go sign with the Deaf students again, and Shoaib's (along with Freddie, Lauren, Paulina, Charlene, and Dalena's) bus wasn't here today, so we just talked. I got Shoaib's AIM name! And Dalena's phone number. I think Ivan had IPC tutorials that day...dunno. And I was heading to go inside the school until I realized that the doors were locked... (Of course...) But no one would open it for me. So I had to think of another way in. But eventually, someone's opened the door, and I had to crawl (with the aid of strangers) under a iron gate and off to Robotics Club. I went to go buy popcorn (Akhil bought it for me) and soda (the soda gushed over when I opened it!), and headed back to the room to finish my essay. Of course, they needed music for the Robotics Club movie, so we looked up a bunch of things. (It can't have lyrics.) We looked up "Asterisk", "Rewrite", "Believe", "Ready Steady Go!", and some DDR songs, but they didn't seem right. (We were also look at Mortal Kombat too! *laughs*) Ah...Nick's doing a caricature of me. Of me floating in mid-air, and playing a piano that's on top of a wall. Oh, and I'm a midget. *smiles* Umm...after that, we went to go wait for the bus. The bus eventually came, with the bus driver from yesterday. Uhh...it was nice. Two girls, one of the girls named Nifasat (?) wanted me to teach them sign language. Also, Mohammad brought his laptop again, with people watching "MII:3" on it. Then, we watched some movie previews. Uhh...the bus instantly broke into song! It was so fun! I tried singing some songs, and Akhil said I can sing pretty good. I just wish I could hold low/high notes more longer... (And my nose wasn't so stuffed up most of the time... It makes my singing sound...nasally.) Umm...the bus driver picked up her daughter (the bus driver's mom was probably babysitting her) at one of the school stops and the bus driver introduced us. "Maggie, meet everyone. Everyone, meet Maggie." I got home...around 8 PM. And now I want to eat. I'm sick now. (I think it's from that shower...and the bus.) I also learned new names! I haven't been here in forevers! If only I could remember what I did these past days... Wednesday Well, in the morning, Ivan's always going to the library for some reason... He says for typing, but I'm not sure... In Digital Graphics, we had lots of glitchy problems. The school, nay the district, set up a giant firewall thing to the point where we couldn't access anything. (It's very ironic too, because we're a very computer-based school.) Oh! We had a school project where we would Photoshop and fuse two animals together... Ah, what should I choose...? Lunch...I sat with Niyathi, and she saw me eating chicken, A.K.A. meat. She asked me, "When you're eating the meat, are you eating the muscles of the chicken...?" I replied to her, "Yeah." (You see, Niyathi's a vegetarian. She doesn't mind that other people eat meat, but she doesn't eat it herself. And she was wondering about it...) She also thinks it's sweet that I sit with the Deaf students during lunch. After school, I went to go wait by the benches with the Deaf students, and I saw Ashley, and asked if she wants to go on a date with Vu. And she goes, "Ew, I don't want to date him..." Rahim and Alma asked what happened, and I translated... I had to go to IPC tutorials to study about moles and conversion... Chris was there! After that, I headed to the Guitar Club, where I tried to sell my Dominoes' cards... No one wanted to buy them. I saw Fola in the school, and she asked the Home Ec teacher if I could be in the play, but the teacher said that no more permission slips will be given out. Aww... In Robotics Club, I was with Ashley and Nestor, trying to write essays for the newspaper. It was hard for me to think of what to type, so I started typing random stuff for a bit... After the club was over, we started talking about stitches, scars, etc. (How did we get into that topic...?) But I told them if they get a cut, if they put curry powder on it, the scar wouldn't be visible. But I told them not to cut themselves. And then Ashley and Nestor pretend to cut their wrists, and Ashley goes, "IT HURTS!!! BUT IT FEELS SO GOOD!!!!!" *bursts out laughing* Nestor just gives her a weird look... Oh! And I find out Vu has a MySpace later at night! I forgot when... Monday, I think. Thursday Well, in the morning, I told Vu that Ashley didn't want to date him, and he said it's fine. Then Ashley comes over, and says hi and she found out I told him "no". She said she just wanted to be friends with him, but when I went over to talk to Vu, Sean stops me and says, "Not so fast." (He likes Ashley too.) And he doesn't want Vu to know... OY VEY. I forgot my Science redo at home! WAH... (But I turned it in on Monday.) So during Transition, Karen taught me the Korean alphabet hangul! Yay! I learned it a few summers ago, but forgot it. Then I learned how to fuse letters together... And I also tried to spend time teaching Bibi how to do chemical equations. Her friends said I could've just given her the answers... (But that's not "teaching" now, is it?) She was afraid to ask for help because she said she would've felt stupid. Aww... But in the end, Ms. L told her not to do it at all. Oh! I tried selling my Dominoes' cards, but no one eats Dominoes'! (STUPID WEIGHT-OBSESSED PEOPLE!!!) Ms. L will buy one...so I'll save her a card for Monday. (She said to wait until Monday.) Bibi asked questions like, "Why don't all Asians speak the same language?" And "Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, same difference." (But they're all different languages.) In Fitness, we did laps around the track. (I undid my shoestrings, so I had to tie them back...) Kai and Raul kept talking about yaoi (WHAT THE HECK?!), but me, Dominique, Christina, and Lauren went to play softball. We gave up and spent the time sleeping on the green football court. (Our track field is also our football field.) At Robotics Club, I spent time painting my poster and helping with Janice's and Chi's... The guys kept jumping on top of a brick wall and flipping off, landing on their feet. Of course, Bee-Ling had to get them all back. I tried, and reach, but I couldn't pull myself up the wall. *sweats* As I was riding home on the bus, I sat behind Niyathi, and we talked during the nighttime, about medical stuff, such as stem cell, cloning, choosing what your child looks like, etc. There were girls that were talking, saying things like this: "I wonder how you know if a deaf person wants to have sex with you. Do they make sounds or just sign it to you? Uh-uh-uh-uh..." *bursts out laughing* Niyathi turned to me and said, "I bet you heard that, huh?" Friday In the morning, Ashley said that she lost her Magic cards. In one of her classes, she said she found the pin for it, but not the cards. (GASP! Someone must've taken them!!!) Ivan was in the library again... This time, I found him reading manga, not typing, like he said. *laughs* But before that, everyone else was late. The only person there was Geraldine, doing her English homework. Oh! Lauren brought coral that belonged to her dad... It was so pretty... And one of those rocks! (Where, if you cut them in half, they have crystals inside?) A geode is what it's called, I think. It was a yellowish rock with a white inside, but the crystals had a yellowish color to them. Oh! It was Pocky Day in Korea (actually, it would be on Saturday) so Karen handed me a big box of pocky, and plus, I needed to borrow her calculator. But then, everyone saw my pocky and started running for it, and before I knew it, my box of pocky was almost gone... *sniffs* OH YEAH! Meredith finally got the pictures from the Homecoming Dance, so she gave me a picture! YIPPEE!!! In P.E., I practiced Korean and did homework... Digital Graphics...OH! Lauren was in our class today, and her mom wanted her to join DGaA, so she sat by Geraldine and saw the translator and practice. But she left mid-class... In English, our teacher translated the Odyssey into "today's language" and it was so funny... The chapter of "The Lotus Eaters"... She compared it to crack (and used a sign of pretending to smoke crack! *laughs*)! But she said, "Don't do this at home. Don't go home and tell people that I support crack use..." In lunch, I sat with Miriam and Rodrigo (?) at lunch. And Ivan didn't go to the library to read his manga... Huh. Geometry... I sat with Thi, Danny, and Michelle, and we had a sub! We shared our answers, and after that, me, Thi, and Fola played hand/mind games with each other... (Those hand games with the clapping and stuff...) After riding on the bus and listening to music from Nam's iPod, talking with Nancy and Aileen (who really didn't talk much), and wearing Nam's gray beanie over and over, I walked home with Anita, who was tired... I was so lazy...I didn't want to post last night. But Diana didn't come home until late night...like 7 PM, I think. I finally got to talk to Trangie...IN MONTHS!!! I went to sleep...around midnight. Today/Saturday I woke up...around 11 AM, and around 1 PM, Diana's friend, An Nhi came over! They hung out, and our moms got to know each other... Around 5 PM, we decided to go shopping! An Nhi's mom went home, and An Nhi went shopping with us...GROCERY shopping. Diana and An Nhi kept playing around, wandering off in the store, and Diana, picking off all the food from the shelves, especially sweets. All three of us wanted to go to the fair across the street, but my mom said no since An Nhi's mom might get angry, Ricky was home hungry, and the food would spoil. So after going to Church's for chicken (the microphone was broken for us, I think), we dropped An Nhi home (An Nhi told her to turn, but my mom kept talking and didn't hear, so we had to turn back), and we went home, packed up groceries, ate, and now...I'm here. Marty and Vu are at a Vietnamese restaurant called Que Huong. Well, they were at it...an hour or two ago. Nickkie's study group was today, but I didn't go. Aaron and I talked for a bit... Chi was away the whole day and didn't answer back, although she claimed to be home all the time. (Actually, she said she did nothing.) And I'm sleepy. Bye! P.S. He was wearing gel (I didn't know how to say "gel", so I signed "wet hair"... *sweats*) and "dress" clothes, and I wondered if it was a special occasion. Also, Carolina and Vu's bus was late that day... Plus, it was so DARK! I learned a new person's name! Freddy! Shoaib was telling me a funny story about when they first met, he asked him, "What's your name?" He signed, "Fuck." He said, "OHH, your name's Fuck?" And he signed, "No, no! My name's F-R-E-D-D-Y!" *laughs* Weird... DGaA - We finished our themed Dada collages (well, I did anyways), and we're starting a new project where we take a couple of animals and fuse them together! It's so cute! English - Uhh...Animal Farm test! Lunch - Lunch...OH MY GOSH. It was so confusing! I was sitting with Ivan, and he signed to me, asking if I liked Naruto. I signed back, saying "A little bit." Then, he asked me if I saw..."a girl with a green shirt", is what I FIRST thought he said... But I kept looking confused (I thought he was talking about Angelie!) and asking who he was talking to. He asked if the girl wearing the green jacket (?) was my friend. But still, I didn't know WHO he was talking about!!! And I told him to show me WHO he was talking about...but THEN I realized. He was drawing a circle on the right side of his chest... And he kept shouting impatiently (I could understand; I'm SLOW!), and I didn't get it until I realized that the girl was wearing a GREEN headband. OHHH... And the circle on the chest? He was saying that there was a Sharingan eye pattern on a girl's jacket. He asked me for her name. But I didn't know. (She's my friend's friend, but I don't know her personally.) Geometry... URR. WE HAD A TEST! OY! I think I did SOME good on it... PLUS, we have to have our kitchen plans done by TOMORROW!!! WHAT THE...?! After school, when I was with Geraldine, Rahim, Alma, and Arielle, Arielle opened her root beer and it poured all over the cement... (Eww...) Uhh...in Robotics, I turned in my money for the new shirt orders, plus I went outside to do some poster painting. I started a new one, which uses Chinese brush strokes and colorful colors. Lots of people like it! But then, it started to rain, and we had to take our work inside... Umm...on the bus ride home, I learned that I started the relationship between Dominique (boy) and Dominique (girl). They met each other because of Grayheart (a cat Amber found in the cold by school). I told Dee (girl) that there was a cat over there, and she went. And I guess that's how they met each other... Dominique (boy) thanked me so much, because I started their relationship. It's weird to know that... *sweats* Today In the morning, I was sitting at the Deaf table, and Kaether wanted me to tell Carolina that he was running and to vote for him. (Well, not exactly. Just to tell her to vote for number...something.) Then Geraldine took out her Howl's Moving Castle DVD, and Waheed saw that shooting game guide in it. (It's a rented DVD, and someone put in the wrong book for the CD.) So Waheed kept talking about guns and shooting and...ugh. IPC...I'm starting to understand chemical equations and charges and whatnot. The problem is I made a 40-something on a test (GASP!), and if I want to get a 70 on it, I need to do test corrections and get it signed. Problem is: I DIDN'T BRING IT HOME!!! WAH... Transition - We voted...and Karen was trying to poke me, and I was restraining her back a lot. And we did arm wrestling. And Dondria pokes me and tells me someone outside wants me, and it's Rahim and Vu! I say hi, and sign what class they were going to. Vu signed that he was just walking around. (Of course, Dondria didn't know they were Deaf, and told me to stop signing...) In lunch, I was sitting with Dalton and Rahim... And I think Ivan went to the library, and needed to get Sean... Umm...Marty told me to go to G-2...for some reason... At first, I thought he said GV hallway, but... *laughs* I'm so stupid! Fitness, we walked around the track. I ran part of the track, racing with Dominique (girl). Then we took off our shoes and walked around barefoot. And we were ABOUT to race, but gave up eventually. Um...at the club, I did some essay-typing stuff, but spent most of the time studying new planets and such. OHH!!! They're letting me go to state! But I have to bunk in a full room. (Shoot.) YAY! I'm staying with Nam and Kaleb. Now I need a permission slip... AND!!! I left my Geography stuff at the club!!! NOOOO!!!! (I didn't realize it until now, 5 hours later! DUMB ME!!!!) Shoot, I just hope it's there tomorrow... Of course, it has to be. I mean, no one else will go in there... GOSH. Today's been UNLUCKY with BOOKS. After the club, I went outside to talk to Jacob and Danny. This one girl went up to me and asked: Girl: "Hey, are you bi?" Me: "...No..." Girl: "Oh... It's too bad, 'cause I'm bi..." And then she walks off somewhere... So was she saying she wanted to go out with me? But now she thinks I'm gay?! (WHAT...?!) This guy was trying to kiss at me when I was talking to Danny... And Danny kept talking about great Chinese food he had when he was at Michelle's house. *laughs* On the bus, I talked with Dominique (boy), Arianna, and a few more people. She wanted me to be her translator! *laughs* Kaether and Samantha (Ashley's sister) were there too, and talking. (Ah, Carolina can understand people without them signing... WHY DIDN'T I KNOW THAT?!) Um, the three saw that all the kids had Sidekicks (they use it for texting!) and wondered how much that cost... Also, Samantha and Ashley were talking to Sean about how to work at Panera Bread. (Sean works there, and they wondering if it was hard to get a job there and stuff.) Not lots of translations for me... Some, yeah. Vu had some problems with Geometry, and I tried to help him, but I didn't know how to do mathematical symbols in sign language! (I know "multiply", "add", "subtract", "math", "geometry", "algebra", and "equal", but I still didn't know the symbol for "divide"...) Bianca saw me signing ASL, and she said, "You have got to teach me how to do sign language one time!" For IPC, I helped fix the overhead projector...kind of. There was something wrong with color. (Something tells me the lenses are all mixed up.) Transition...urr...homework. Lunch. Um. I sat with Thi's table today! It was one of her friend's birthdays, and they had a little party for her! So I joined...and ate sweets. (WATER...I needed WATER!!!) In Fitness...we sat with each other in the bleachers and just drew. Anime pictures, really. There was this one time when Kai tried to push me off the bleachers with his foot. It really surprised me, and I turned around, and he said that I touched him. (EH?!) But I didn't, so I have no idea what he's talking about... Christina's a pretty good anime artist! (She drew a couple kissing each other.) Lauren's gonna force her to finish. Christina also says this might be her last year here. She's moving up to north Houston because of her parents... Aww... I was talking to Vu and the others, and he asked me if I have AIM. I told yup, and I traded AIM names with him, Ivan, and Geraldine. Lots of commotion that day. Their bus couldn't leave because they were waiting for someone... (A kid on a wheelchair.) Lots of fast signing and hyperness I could see on the bus. *laughs* Sean signed to Ashley to have a good weekend. (Then he asked if he could have her phone number later. *laughs*) Um, when I came to the club, I saw NO ONE there. Then I found out everyone was in the back! They were all painting! I started on my picture, mixing around and practicing the different types. Janice, Chi, and Aaron were there! And so was Andrea, Akhil, Zach (he was inside doing robot...things) and so forth. Bee-Ling and Jonathan were there too! Jonathan and I were kinda together (apart from the group, kinda) and so we worked with each other for the beginning of the time... But we got so distracted. Zach hitting a metal barrel with a wooden mallet, speaking in microphone, going "WORK!" and hitting the mallet once and repeating... *laughs* Also, that conveyor belt part... We pretended we were Ivy from Soul Calibur!!! ALSO. I need to remember. SELL Dominoes' cards! AND SHOOT. With all that painting that day, I forgot to turn in my check for the shirt! *cries* I hope I have enough time... But I got so DIZZY from those paint fumes... And it was hard to get off my hands. (Plus all that GRAFFITI we left on the concrete! EHHH...) The bus came late, and two girls went back inside to get their books. (I told them the bus would be 15 minutes late.) But the bus came, and we waited for them for 15 minutes, and we took off. (GAH, why do I feel like it's my fault! I should've just SHUT UP!!!) Uhh...I got home...late...sleepy too. When did I sleep...? Friday No school that day! What did I do? All day on my laptop... OY VEY. So tiresome... And I talked to Geraldine on AIM. Off and on really. She said she was going to go to the library to practice working there, and she was going to the movies to see either "Santa Claus 3" or "Flushed Away" with her Deaf friends... Ooh. Saturday Ah...I went to the orthodontist at 11 AM and the person today talked to me in Vietnamese, at first afraid that I wasn't Viet. *laughs* In the meanwhile, the person who was working with Diana... She was singing along with the radio again... "How To Save a Life"... That song. Umm...they fixed the top part of my braces/bracket. (I found out two of my brackets were broken!) They said they'll fix the bottom one NEXT TIME.) After that, we went to Wal-Mart where our mom gave me and Diana money to buy McDonalds. We ordered 5 different meals (that probably looked funny; 2 kids holding 5 meals) for our family, and then ate ours. Our mom came later and we headed home. Right after that, I changed quickly into a gray vest jacket with a zipper with a black long-sleeved T-shirt and faded (I think) jeans, with a Pokeball hooked to it and I was wearing black gloves with the fingers part cut off. Diana was wearing all green (green "Communist" hat, green jean jacket, white blouse inside, green cargo pants) and she was a Pokemon trainer too! Our Pokemon were a teddy bear and a tiger plushie... Teddiursa (for me!) and Arcanine (for my sister!), they were. Diana was from the Dork region, and she had a wristband that said "Dork". It pointed to the right (or was it left?) and it showed her the way home. But of course, it always pointing right, whenever she turned right, she kept turning right, causing her to go in circles. *sweats* So we biked to Kathy's house! We pretended we were Pokemon trainers on the road and said what was what. We called the streets "routes", and we passed by a bunch of trees and called it the "Viridian Forest" and we walked towards a grassy area. (Haha, roleplaying Pokemon trainers. What losers we are. *sweats*) But guess what. WE WERE 4 HOURS EARLY! (We came around 2 PM, and the party didn't start until 6 PM!!!) So we hung around, with Kathy's pets, and went online, and I played "Pokemon Channel", which is SO BORING... *cries* Eventually, everyone came. Sue was a hobo, Aaron was a nothing, Nida was nothing, Sobia was a witch, Alex was a repairman, Nickkie was a bloody waiter (like Halloween!) again, and so forth. OOH! Janice was a vampire! Aaron, who didn't have a costume, put on Sobia's (I think it was hers...) purple frilly (not frilly, but transparent-like) shirt with bats decorated on it. *laughs* He put on a purple witches' hat, and I have to agree, he DID look like a girl! But me, OH. I was so sick! I think I sniffed up Kathy's pets, and I became runny nosed, and later on, I started sneezing REAL BADLY. It calmed down a bit later, but still...it felt bad. It was hot, so I started taking bits and pieces of my costume off... Vy came later! I think she was some type of Egyptian...princess or something? Huy was wearing a cape. Vy and I talked about school, how come we never saw each other anymore, and Kai. Ah...I also found something of hers, but I won't tell you what it is. *sighs* Ah...we watched "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (old version!) and "Corpse Bride"! But everyone left by then, and Vy and Huy were the only ones left! (Mid-way of the movies, Kathy's cousins came over...) Kathy's dad drove me and my sister home, along with our bikes, we said good night to him, and we went inside. I took a shower, and fell asleep, feeling SO SICK... Oh! Geraldine went to go see "Santa Claus 3", so that was nice. Sunday Umm...I woke up at 8-9 AM, because my mom wanted me to make lasagna (she pronounced it incorrectly though)... So after that, I washed my clothes, did a little Internet surfing, then ate lunch, and yeah... I got ready for Sunday school (in a RUSH!) and didn't have time to fix my hair... My hair was...like Sora's hair, we'll say... When I got out, my dad scolded me and told me never to be caught with that hairstyle. Umm...I helped Chi with some medical homework. And she thinks I'm creepy and went into further detail of that... Tinh and Natalie were there too! We went to our Viet Ngu class, and I was sitting apart from Liz and Theresa. (Khang wasn't there... Wonder why.) We went into deep discussion about how to say instruments in Vietnamese... Sideways flute, flute going straight from the mouth, harp, guitar, 16-stringed zither, and so forth... Ehru, mandolin...er...I'll stop now. Um, then I went to go talk with Chi, Na Nhi, Tung, and so forth. I was talking with Lac Hong and we separated to go to an assembly. Confirmation students and parents split into different groups (parent-teacher conference) and we had a guest speaker from our church who talked about the toughness of growing up and such. She asked if anyone had questions about teenaged life, and some girls said "love", and John asked a question about "how old do you have to be to fall in love?" or smething like that... I forgot. John said I acted like a pedophile. (WHAT THE HECK?!) Everyone thinks I'm CREEPY!!! *cries* At mass, I was sitting with Lac-Hong, and after that, I talked a bit with Annie (that's Diana's friend!) and such... Dalena, Diana (friend), Scott (he spiked his hair!!!), and Sonja (she's a teacher now...I forgot!) were some people I talked with today... After I got home, Diana and I ate the leftover lasagna and we had shark fin soup and barbeque chicken. And now I'm here. Typing. There are 12 planets now. (Almost; they haven't decided.) Um...it's a day late, I know, but I was SO tired after getting home last night, and I didn't feel like getting on... So I headed to bed. *falls asleep* Sunday In the morning, Ashley came to sit with me at the Deaf table, and Ashley asked me to translate "I think you're cute" to Vu Chu. Waheed saw, and kept signing things like, "Vu Chu thinks Ashley has a nice ass." (But at first, I was confused and thought Waheed said he thought Vu Chu had a nice ass... Carolina just bursted out laughing and started walking around the edge of the table... *sweats*) Then Ashley started asking weird questions like if any were in modeling. (Ashley's in 11th grade, and she works part-time as a model. Vu Chu started doing "modeling" poses, and he said a little bit.) She also asked if any of them had six-packs (I had a hard time translating that...), and Vu Chu said he had one, and Ashley said "Sexy..." (Of course, I didn't know the sign for "sexy", so I spelled it out.) But when Vu Chu saw what she meant, he started laughing. Vu Chu said he was going as a clown for Halloween... *laughs* Oh! He also said he was going to basketball tryouts! IPC...OY! I made a bad grade on translating atoms, moles, molecules, and whatnot! Plus, we had a test...and I had no calculator, but I think I REALLY MADE A BAD GRADE!!! (Shoot, I'm scared!) Transition - I just sat in class doing some homework while mildly chatting with Laura and Karen. Laura wrote a story, and Karen had to read it, plus poing out grammar problems and give comments. In Lunch, I sat with Parul, Jonathan, and Zach. (Where was Chi?) I ate a lot, then went to go sit at the Deaf table. Of course, everyone was busy eating...and I spent a lot of time trying to look for Chi... Fitness... OH MY GOSH! Kai had no gel in his hair today! He looked so...DIFFERENT! (He said people went from calling him "hot and cool" to "cute and cuddly" just because he wasn't wearing gel... *bursts out laughing*) We had to do Tae Bo... NOOO... And Dominique (girl) was feeling real bad after it... She was in a bad mood. Lauren said it was because she was tired, and they made her do tae bo... Also, Kai has issues with touching me. The second time I touched him, he punched me (saying "Ow!") and then another time... Then he threatened that next time, it would be my face... (*giggles* ???) The afternoon was CONFUSING! Showering, then trying to prepare for trick-or-treating!!! I didn't know WHO was going! Kathy was going as a genie with her sister and so... Alex was going to a party, I think, and Sobia and Melinda ditched me and Nickkie! So I was there, trying to pick out clothes...and apply a white mask makeup trick Enin showed me a few weeks back. (Of course, it messed up, and I decided just to leave it as it was...) I was...a modern vampire/Pokemon trainer...with white gloves! (What's with me and white gloves?) Also, with spiky hair! My mom drove Diana to West Oaks Mall so Diana could hang out with Anh Nhi, but that made it confusing, since Anh Nhi wasn't there, and Diana kept asking me to contact Anh Nhi. Of course, our home phone was shut off for...half an hour, I think! And then, when it came back on, I could only call out, but people couldn't call in. (Very auspicious on Halloween???) Well...Nickkie's brother eventually found my house (after circling it a buncha times) and we headed to Nickkie's brother's (another one!) house... Nickkie was a butler...with blood-stained gloves and a battle axe. *laughs* We went into her brother's house, dressed up her niece as a lobster, and went off! Nickkie had glow sticks, and she let me have hers! (She only brought enough for herself and the kids...) So I became a techno-raver/modern vampire/Pokemon trainer person-thing! (I kept spinning the glow stick, attached to a string, around, to scare little kids... *sweats*) The first house we went to, the man was really nice. He was sad because there weren't that many kids going out to trick-or-treat, and usually, his 18-year old son would be by the doorway, scaring kids, but he headed off to college...so... He asked what I was, and he thought I was Harry Potter! (Sure, let's go with that...) And then we talked about where we went to school, and said bye. So now I'm a Harry Potter/techno-raver/modern vampire/Pokemon trainer person??? (Later, Nickkie killed the Harry Potter part of me, and I became Hermione! ...Don't ask.) We eventually caught up to Nickkie's other brothers and her nieces... It was so cute! Um...two of Nickkie's nieces were dressed as Stephanie from that Nickelodeon show, Lazy Town, and some other friends/relatives were a Power Ranger/samurai thing, and a Jedi. *laughs* After wandering around for a while, we stopped, went back to Nickkie's brother's house, and took a break... We ate some candy...and Nickkie took a picture of me wearing Megan's pink wig...and sent it to...people. (Only because I asked her to! *laughs*) We had pizza (one was jalapeno/red onion/pepperoni and the other one was sausage/pepperoni) and soda. After that, Nickkie's brother drove me home, and I got back at 9:45 PM. I was SO SLEEPY. I stayed online Gaia until...midnight-something, just to collect online candy, and went asleep. Today/Wednesday Umm...in the morning, I kept whining because I wanted to lose the Yu-Gi-Oh! duel between me, Dominique, and Aaron, just to talk to my Deaf friends. (But it was almost impossible, because my life points were at 10,000+...) OHH... Kathy's having a costume party on Saturday! (SHOOT...I never have time to do chores anymore...) P.E. was quiet. I sat outside, on a wooden table, watching people play soccer and signing to myself about what I saw outside. Then I went to the weight room, where I talked to Whitney. I made new terms for Kingdom Hearts, such as Heartful and Somebodies, which are the opposites of Heartless and Nobodies... *laughs* And if I were on Organization XIII, I would want my power to be gravity... DGaA - We worked on our Dada collages, and for Geraldine's collage (first date), she kept putting funny/weird things such as cat ears on the girl, fish lips for the guy... And she wanted to add stuff like bugs, aliens, etc. (How is this a first date...? *laughs*) Right at the end, she was looking for a picture, and I thought she needed help spelling something, and I asked, and she typed up "big breasts". (Huh?! Note: She was doing "first date", and I guess her first thought was making the girl's breasts larger...?) I never thought her the perverted type! (GASP!!!) In Lunch, I sat by Alma, and Dalisa. Rodrogio (I finally got his name right! That's how it sounds... He kept pronouncing it in a Spanish accent...) was doing his Science Fair research lab thing, and had to leave early. I just sat by Ileana and Geraldine. I remember Vu Chu coming over and asking about Ashley, and asking, "Why did that girl yesterday call me 'cute'?" I gestured, "I don't know." with a upward movement of my shoulders. Then I told Geraldine and Ileana that that girl also called Vu Chu "sexy" and both of them bursted out laughing. I asked how to sign that (since I had difficulty signing that yesterday), and Dominique (yesterday, or in the morning) asked me what something meant. Of course, I didn't know, so I asked them. (I found that word meant "sex"...) EH?! I told them that I saw Waheed using it a lot yesterday, and Ileana told me not to listen to him, since he was a troublemaker... Then, on the walk back to our classes, Ileana and I were talking about candy. I told her that I ate so much candy in the morning, and my stomach was hurting. She said that last night, she pigged out (I think it's "pigged out") on chocolate... *laughs* Geometry...OY. Thi and Kevin became "teachers" for the class on the side of us! Then they went around, helping other people. OH! We have assigned groups now. I'm with Reba, Tara, and Krystyna now. Krystyna helped me with work, and I helped her with work... OH! We also had a scavenger hunt, and we finished it LATE! The others rushed to their buses (or whatever), and I found out we made a 90. (YAY!) I stayed after school... But first, I went to go talk to Geraldine and her friends. Rahim kept signing things like "She (Arielle) likes you." and "She (Arielle) and her (Alma) love each other SO MUCH and they kiss!" I was just in a shocked, weird-looking state, and he said it was a joke. (Yeah, I know...) What was that reply to a joke again...? I got to the club late, and I needed to order a new shirt. They're ordering new shirts later, so I have to ask my mom for $20 later! Also, they said people who didn't go to Regionals couldn't go to State. NOO!!! But I was sick... (But the teacher said he'll talk about it with the other officers...) And...I'm selling Dominoes' cards as a fundraiser. What is it? Basically, if you buy this card ($10), you get a free large pizza for every large pizza you buy. (Sweet, neh?) And you can use it...10-20 times? Yah. This money will go to our trip to State, so wheep! (But I'm like, one of the five only people selling them currently...) We drew posters! We'll paint them tomorrow... I sat outside with Moriah and Matthew waiting for the bus to come... And then I see Vy and Kai! I was about to wave hi to them until I thought they needed to be alone... (If you know what I mean...) Then, Vy started coming up towards the school, and as I was about to say hi to her, she said, "You shouldn't hang around Kai anymore." (Or something of that sort...) She's changed...or have I...? *sniffs* Umm...the bus came late today... Like, 15 MINUTES late! Our regular late bus driver's schedule has been switched around, so we were SUPPOSED to get a new driver, but he never came... Oh! And Waheed was here today. Uh...he stayed back for...basketball, I think. (I thought Vu Chu was staying for tryouts too!) Anyways, it was a VERY DARK RIDE home, but it was SO FUN!!! All the pwetty lights coming on at night... Yah. When I went to church, I talked with Chi, who told me that the Robotics tournament was on Saturday, and that we made it to state! (YAY!) We're meeting in Lubbock, Texas (that's in north Texas...11 hours away?) for a three-day trip...in December. So yah... Viet Ngu... I met new people in our class! The girl behind me...her name is Phuong (I think...), but I can call her Liz! The girl sitting by her... Is Trang... (I think...) GOSH! I can't remember names! OY.) Uh. Our TA, Thay Vinh (I think that's his name...) was teaching us, and then a girl came in to sub while he was away. The girl was in 11th grade, and just moved from Vietnam 3 years ago. She had a Hue accent, but she spoke more Nam... The boy came back to teach again, and the girl came back to ask him to copy some papers for her. She kicked him once, and the girls in the class said, "A man has to listen to his woman!" And then the girls behind me started giggling and talking about those two being boyfriend/girlfriend... And at the end of the class, Liz started talking about last year, during Tet, Vinh had to go on stage wearing a white skirt??? And dance... *laughs* Mid-class, we were all required to go to the new school area and pray. But of course, all the kids were being loud, so we were kicked out. The older adults were just watching us with a "disgruntled" (Not sure if that's the right word...) look on their face... I sat by Lac Hong, and behind us were my sister Diana and John... John started asking me if Diana liked him or if she was always that nice. *laughs* I told him that she's always nice like that, but I joked around, and told him that no, she really liked him, and that I liked him like that too because I was always nice to him. (So I put my arms around him, and he put his arms around mine.) *bursts out laughing* Silly. In Confirmation (me being late!), we went over test corrections... In the bathroom, some guy called me hot. (HUH?!) There was no Life Teen Mass, so outside, I was waiting with Na Nhi, Tung, their "daughter", Tinh, and Dalena. We basically wandered around the new schoolhouse, and in the end, they had to wait for their parents to pick them up. Tinh went with her mom to the ceremony. I kept scaring Tung, and I was wearing Na Nhi's jacket. But I wanted to go join the ceremony, so I bought a candle and a rose and joined. Diana and Diana (both my sister and friend) were pushing a baby through the parade of people holding roses. But my sister, being so loud, screamed EVERY TIME they reached a bumpy, rocky area. She was VERY LOUD. Mid-way, my mom and brother joined in, somewhere ahead of me. After that, we had mass. (Um, one of Anne's friends--a boy--called me hot. Anne said he likes to pretend he's gay. *laughs*) I sat with Chi Phuong, Diana (my sister), and Diana (my friend), althought Diana (friend) kept wandering around the church during mass... Later, Dalena and Diana's (both are sisters) mom found them, and had an angry look on their face. She made them go sit where she was. Well, the other girls were causing trouble in the church. Yelling, screaming sometimes, talking while the priest was preaching, and also, we were easy to spot, due to that fact that we were sitting in the back, and in foldable chairs... The wine was nice today. Sweet at the beginning, but kind of spicy towards the end. (What am I, a wine connoisseur?!) Well, we put our foldable chairs back into the waiting room (very noisily, I might add), and then mass was over. I just talked with my friends. Thi was there! She was in choir, wearing a light-blue ao dai with blue hoa mai flowers embroidered on the front... We talked... Also, my mom and me talked with Ann. My mom just asked about her family, and my brother was just standing there, saying nothing. He claims to be "quiet like that." Oh please... Oh! That candle? There was no use! But Dalena lit it up for me, and I walked around, but the gust of cold wind put it out... Actually, right before it blew out, Anne blew it out with her breath, laughed, gave me my books back, and I walked off to the van. Um...we went to go eat at Subway! I had to order for my brother!!! DUMMY. The girl who worked there asked, "Why ain't you talking? You're gonna let your brother do the ordering for you? So you don't care what he orders for you? Are you just hungry like that?" He replied, "I'm just quiet like that." (STUPID FATHEAD! You go into a restaurant, and they ask you what you want to eat, and you don't reply because you're "quiet like that"?!) OH! I remember I kept changing my mind on what I wanted on my sandwich, and the guy replied, "You're confusing me here!" I laughed and went, "Sorry, I know. I'm confusing, huh?" So I paid...my mom came in...and we brought our food to the van, ate at home, and I went to bed around midnight. Today In the morning, everyone looked SO CRAZY jumping around, trying to swat mosquitoes. Dominique (boy) took out a cone, and Aaron ran around the parking lot... *laughs* For part of the morning, I sat with Shoaib and his group. He did a picture for Art! It's a city, with a port right by it, and there's a boat passing by, and the weather is very rainy... I don't know, but I think it was Carolina that threw a finished paper food plate at Jennifer's head, and Shoaib asked me to translate "I'm sorry" to her... *laughs* P.E. - The coach asked me to help a guy with his combination. GAH. I'm not good with any combinations except my own. *sweats* Then I went to the weight room, where I drew anime as Whitney talked about fanfiction he read online... DGaA - Um...we finished up with our jack-o'-lantern pictures. It was hard to explain to Geraldine how to do it... After that, we started working with our collage, and GUESS WHAT?! The POWER WENT OFF AND ALL THE COMPUTERS SHUT OFF!!!!!!! WHAT THE--?! I lost my work! (Just the collage though!) I kept signing "I didn't save!" But I can always start over... Also, Geraldine kept looking up the key word "First Date" for her collage... English - Test and timeline of our lives. PLUS--CHRIS TOOK MY RULER!!! (I need to get it back on Wednesday... GAH.) Lunch - I sat half with Tien's group and half with Miriam and Alma. I finally met that kid who comes around the table! I signed to him, and Alma and Miriam were giggling. (Yes, I know he's not deaf. *laughs*) His name is Gregorio...or something that sounds like that. Ivan kept signing that Miriam and...that guy...were going on a date...or something. (Eh?) Geometry...we had those door quizzes again. I FAILED EVEN ON MY THIRD TRY!!! WAH... We had a test...and I think I did pretty good on it. At least 80 or higher... Then we took notes... I took the bus home (not missed, I might add) and sat with Aaron and Vy. Vy never spends time anymore. I also found out Vy doesn't love me. Aaron went, "How could you not love an adorable face like this?!" I was basically asleep the whole ride... I started walking home with Anita, but my mom picked me up. I ate, watched a DVD of Amanda's Buddhist temple's festival... (The Moon Festival, right?) And...I'm here. I tried looking for my Pokeballs, but I couldn't find any! That's when I realized my mom said she threw all of them away! (ALL THAT TIME...WASTED?!) And...I asked if anyone was going trick-or-treating. Alex actually said she would go, but on last minute, one of her friends asked her to go to a Halloween party, and her mom's making her go. Nickkie's going in her brother's neighborhood...20 minutes away from here. And Melinda wants to come with me, but what about Alex...? Sue's going around the block with her sister. Eh. Bye guys! It's been a weird/happy weekend... Ah, I'm just kinda sick right now, so don't be bothered... Thursday In P.E., I went to the weight room and tried to get water out of my ears. (I kept asking Whitney for ways to get the water out!) In the corner, I see Chris being this guy's personal coach, and Whitney said their relationship looked abusive. ("Relationship"... "Abusive"... HUH?!) Then him, plus two guys, were laughing and asking questions like, "Who's the guy (in the relationship)?" Weird... In DGaA, there was a young lady (blonde hair; interpreter) who was subbing for Ms. Thompson. (Geraldine signed that she hadn't been there all week.) I had to catch up with the rest of the class, and we were working on dada (abstract war art?) and surrealism. We have to make an abstract collage of our theme. I got "Trick or Treating", and Geraldine got "First Date". OH! Geraldine's birthday was in two days, and I asked if she had any plans. Geraldine said she might go to a festival in front of the First Colony Mall... Okay, that's cool. In Lunch, I sat with Geraldine, and Ileana, and I kept saying I wanted to eat, but because of my sore throat, I couldn't. Oh! Arielle got contacts! Oh! And I met another Deaf girl... Her name's Paulina... (At first, she spelled her whole name, without the spacemarks, and I got confused...) Geometry... Krystyna helped me understand our Geometry homework! Reggie looked happy I was sitting at his table, while Kevin was trying to kick a girl out of his table for me to sit there... *laughs* No after school things. Too much rain--even though the rain ended--and there were no late buses. Friday Phew! My morning was busy... Vy and Kai don't sit/hang at the table anymore, so I got to talk to them, for a while... I also had to walk back and forth to find Tien... We promised we would do FOB Day together!!! Well anyways, today was Geraldine's and Ileana's birthday! Ileana gave her some face lotion, and one of her teachers gave her some perfume! Ileana was wearing a blue puffy-styled ribbon, and pinned her dollars to her shirt. I gave both of them $1, and wished them a "Happy Birthday". Oh! I forgot to tell you! Yesterday, Uchena and Izien asked me to translate something for a Deaf guy, named Daniel. So today, early in the morning, when he came, she asked me to translate to him, "I think you're cute." Of course, she wasn't with me, so I signed, pointing to Uchena, "Girl (with) hair-curly thinks you cute." Of course, Lauren was in front of Uchena, and she also had wavy hair, thought we were talking about her. Then I pointed to Uchena again, and Miriam asks, "Do you like her?" in ASL, but Daniel signs in reply, "Just a friend." Oh, and Geraldine is going to hold a birthday party at her house...so that's cool. *smiles* But I wish I were invited... (Later, in Fitness, I found out Dominique, the girl, was invited. Turns out it's an all-girl's party. Ohh...okay.) IPC...lots of work. And a test! Transition... We fixed some problems with our research plan...and I did homework. Geography...lots of work to do! ARGHHH... TOO MUCH!!! In Lunch, I sat with Thi, who I hardly sit with anymore, and Linh, and Chi Chi (the "ch" is pronounced like a "c" sound with a "j" sound). I talked, ate a lot, and then scared Zach by making the sign for "sign" and giggling. Then the bell rang, and I talked with Arielle. I asked where her contacts were, and she said they were at home. I wondered what color they were, and she signed "Blue." I asked her what class she was going to next, and I couldn't understand what she was saying... Istay...??? (English is what she meant, probably.) But before I could sign, Zach hit me in the back, and told me to stop signing...or asked me what I was signing. *sweats* Fitness...I sat down with Dominique (girl), Lauren (black), Raul, and Christina (she has a lot of names, I think...)! Kai was out because of Debate. Raul got a note from Lauren saying that Ariel was gonna...something. (She made me promise I wouldn't read it...) Christina was going all "fangirl" on Hatsuharu, from "Fruits Basket", and I started reading it, with Raul saying, "But it's a romance comedy...with hot guys!" (But he started reading it later, so... *laughs*) Dominique also read it too... Later, George (THAT'S his name! I kept calling him "Anthony" in my earlier posts...) came over to play dominoes with Lauren and Dominique. (Christina won the first round--she didn't even know how to play!) Then someone in the back started singing...it was the National Anthem, or something that sounded like it. And then two guys tried to sing another song, and that failed... Oh! When Dominique was reading "Fruits Basket", I found out that Christina was psychic! She can sense things too... Also, I guess a lot of the stuff in her room right. (She's open-minded, I guess? I can only read non-stressed/skeptical people's minds?! Eh?!) Then...George asked a question. He said, "I'm bi. Is anyone in this group bi?" I shook my head in a "no" way, but he misunderstood it and said, "You're bi?" But I shook my head "no", and he had this look of digust/sadness on his face. (Eh...?) Umm...I went home on the bus...and my mom picked me up at the bus stop and drove me home. I ate barbeque ribs...and procrastinated on my homework... GUESS WHAT?! I found out they didn't invite me to a party! It was Kathy's pumpkin-carving party!!! WAH... They didn't ask me. Chi said she THOUGHT Kathy already invited me... (WAH.) I'm always never invited. Usually, Alex or Sue are the ones to tell me if we're having a party. Sad, right? Well, they had it...with Nam, Zach, and...other people I don't know about right now. And I didn't go to sleep until...past midnight. Today/Saturday I was woken up at...30 minutes past noon, by Hong, who called me from the house phone! My sister ran into the room, gave me the phone, and Hong was at HK4 with her youth group! I told her I would be there in 30 minutes... And I showered...and did my usual "morning" (although it was technically afternoon) stuff. Then my mom got ready too, and we weren't done until...1:30 PM? (By then, Hong was in the dentist's office, but she would still be at HK4...) So when I got there, I came out, and I found Hong, and we hugged violently! *laughs* I met up with Amanda, Hang, Lizzie (I hadn't seen her in MORE THAN TWO YEARS!!!), and a girl named Mary (why does she look so familiar?)! They were selling stuff for their temple, down at P.A. Buu Mon Temple is its name. After unsuccessfully selling stuff, all of us headed down to the Food Court, where I saw Thai Son with Co Dung and their group of friends, just enjoying a lunch/chat! (Thai Son and Co Dung are my Confirmation teachers, but both are only in their mid-20s...) My group of friends were giving each other piggy-back rides and jumping and posing on a palm tree found in the food court. It just made me laugh...and feel awkward. Then Co Dung and Thai Son, plus their friends, had to leave, waved "bye", and went outside to their cars. After the pictures, there was a guy who was working at the food court who the girls found cute. They wanted pictures of him, and he posed for them. Then we all went over to the arcade for more posing. He claimed he needed to get back to work, when I found a girl there, yelling at him, saying stuff like, "Why were you with those girls?!" Later, I found out it was that girl... Kim...something. (She goes to my church!) We talked a bit, told her I was just hanging out with my friends...and we parted from each other. Hang said that girl, and her other two friends (she was with three others) looked mean. Only one of the girls actually looked nice. Hang said that girl kept glaring at her with an "evil" look on her eye... (GASP!) We went back to the stand, and we went around again to sell more calendars! Into stores, etc. There was one store, where a man said, in Vietnamese, "I'll buy a calendar from you if you can say that sentence correctly in Vietnamese." Of course, the girls failed. *sweats* It was funny...because a few times, Mary claimed that I was her boyfriend. *sweats* We headed back, celebrated with some mangoes, dipped in salt and chili (I never really understood why Vietnamese like their mangoes with salt and chili dip... Of course, I didn't eat that dip...) and we took a break. Sleeping, taking some pictures, etc. Then, I said I would head over to Teahouse and buy a boba drink. With my green apple and strawberry boba-jelly drink in my hands, I headed back, only to find them NOT there. The two girls still left there said that they all headed home, with Hong's uncle. WAH. They went to the Galleria without me! I just headed over to my mom...who was sitting with a Buddhist nun (what's the female version of the word "monk"???), or called Su Co in Vietnamese, and was helping her sell Buddhist trinkets, and prayer CDs. There was another man there, Mr. Sang (?), who was Caucasian, but spoke Vietnamese very well. He was there to try to spread the word of his religion, Mormon. There was also another Vietamese man there, talking with both of them about the basics of religion and such. I just sat there, and finished my drink... Then, when I asked my mom to go home, we did. In the van, I realized! I HAD Thieu Nhi Thanh The with Mary a few years back! (HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT?!?!) Oh well... Too late to tell them. And it'd be kinda dumb to call just to say that. Well, I got home, ate a bit, and Diana PARTIALLY messed up my laptop. Stupid Diana... Gotta do homework now. Bye! P.S. I wanna gonna make a Halloween theme, but I haven't found any time this whole month! (Plus, my brother and sister won't let me use the desktop anymore since I have this laptop now...) I'll try to go on today there (probably late at night) and start on it. (Yes, I haven't even started!) Also, my mom wants to take me shopping for more clothes... Oy...my life... So busy. And I'm so tired of MyOtaku (no offense to you guys, but this site is boring now, with everyone I know gone) since I'm so alone... But I'll post. Sunday I met up with Lac Hong and Andy! But Andy was angry at Lac Hong because she was on three-way or four-way (phone, you perverts!)with him, and he said he had to go. So she thought he hung up the phone, and she said, "Aww...all my best friends are here...except Andy." He heard that, gasped, and hung up. (She didn't know he was still on there!) And then Chi and I had a long conversation about our friends...which confused Lac Hong. So...Chi's mom thinks I'm gay, Kai's stupid, and Nam's lam nom, which means "sassy," I think. (I asked Thay Bich for a translation, but Chi thinks it's more related to "spoiled" or something like that.) And she likes him. (Chi's mom likes Nam.) I also learned that Lac Hong's name means "white rose" or "pale rose" in Vietnamese... Isn't that a pretty name? *smiles* In Viet Ngu class, one of the girls brought her Filipino friends to school so she could learn Vietnamese! (We found out when one of the TAs asked her to read a sentence in Vietnamese, and she said that she couldn't.) So they put her in Lop (Grade) 1...I think. Khang bought me a drink, and we went into the church, where...he started torturing Lac Hong... *sweats* In Confirmation...we had our exams! I think I failed, because Co Dung kept looking at me with a sad look... THAT, or I kept translating what the teachers said into sign language. (Yes, I wanna become an interpreter. *laughs*) Mass was good, but Chi couldn't stay. So I sat with Diana and her friend. I gave her friend money to buy che, and in return, she gave me and Diana her whole box of Nerds! (YAY! The big kind, not those mini ones.) Monday OH MY GOSH. It was so cold! Yesterday, it was 90-something, and the next day, it drops to a 50-something?! WHAT?! So on the bus, one of the windows came unloose on the bus, and that cold air kept blowing at me... UGH. I kept thinking to myself, Don't worry, Travis, you're almost at school. Oh! One of the girls on my bus found a kitty by one of the benches outside! Everyone kept aww-ing at it, and Dominique (boy) took the kitty inside... Inside, I was starting to get sick. Runny rose a bit. Dominique named the kitty "Grayheart"... Cute name, but it sounds so...pessimistic to me, for some reason. So...I went over to the Deaf table, and told Ileana and Geraldine that there was a kitty over there... Of course, both misunderstood the sign for "cat" for "Geraldine". (Geraldine's name sign DOES resemble the sign for "cat", though...) I don't think I realized I was sick. Well, I was blowing my nose a lot in IPC...while we were having a test. And then when Karen and I were doing our research lab paper, I had to blow my nose a lot. World Geography...lots of runny nose, and coughing. Fitness...we had to run track outside, but my head hurt real bad. I went to go sit down at a bench, but coach told me to get up. Donny and his friend told me that I should tell the coach, and she let me sit out for the rest of the period. (But my joints started to hurt REAL BAD.) Tara and her friend said they hope that I feel better soon. That Hispanic guy in my class... He asked me if I was gay. I said, "No..." Then he countered that with, "Are you sure?" For the first time today, Kai RAN! He also played football. *laughs* I told Lauren was sick, and she felt my head and said it was BURNING UP. So every now and then, I would sleep on Lauren's back...or backpack...even though that didn't help much. So anyways...I was running towards the bus, but with my heavy books, PLUS being sick, I couldn't make it that far. The bus driver saw me there, but decided to leave me. Na Nhi saw that the bus had left me, and she offered so that I could ride her bus and her mom could drive her home! Of course, her bus driver said that no random students were allowed on his bus, so I left. I called my mom on the cell phone to tell her that I was sick, at school, and needed to be picked up, and walked back to the benches. I sat down with my Deaf friends, and I told them that I was sick. Arielle said chocolate might make it feel better (headache?), and Alma and Geraldine were signing about me being sick, and my headache. And Rahim was talking about how to go up to a black guy, and to sign, "What's up?" and to do that little handshake thing... *laughs* But I was so sick... So I slept while waiting for my mom... Julio, Luz, and another girl from our bus just sat on another bench. I think I dozed off for...45 minutes... I called, and my mom said she was in the office. I told her I was at the bus ramp! But she didn't know where that was... So I had to explain, and then she took me home... After getting home was lots of medicine, sleep, soup...and stuff. I couldn't move for a while due to joint pain, and I kept sweating... My mom told me to sleep in her room... And that if I was better by the next day, I could go back to school... In the morning, I was one temperature too high. I still couldn't go. Wah. Yesterday/Tuesday I woke up around 11 AM...and ate...soup. My mom did some papers, and around 1:30 PM, we drove off to the family doctor's office. We waited...and waited...and waited. (There was only one doctor there that day.) We finally left around...5 PM (yes, it took that long to wait!) and headed to Burger King, where we bought food. But at Burger King, my mom kept speaking, and the people there couldn't understand her. I was sick, and had this "ugh" pained expression on my face. (The girl working there kept looking at me.) Also, the girl had to repeat for my mom to drive up, but my mom was too busy putting her money in her purse. (Just drop it in there, it doesn't need to be neat!) And then I overheard a guy making fun of my mom's accent, and another girl saying, "Don't be making fun of her..." or something like that. Ugh...lots of eating...medicine...and whatnots. Today/Wednesday I decided to go back to school today, even though I was sick. OH MY GOSH. It's MOSQUITO SEASON. The minute I got out, the mosquitoes were EVERYWHERE! (Mosquitoes never lived in this area!!!) And Kai's allergic to mosquitoes, so...UGH... In the morning, I kept running back and forth (from the attendance office--for being absent, to my classes--for my make-up work, etc.) to try to get everything ready. Then I went to go talk with my Deaf friends. I talked with Ileana, and I told her I was sick yesterday. She said she wasn't here today, but she had...something. Then she showed me a bite or something. (My first thought was: Did she get a shot?) I tried to translate the word "shot", but it came out wrong. (The sign for "shot" as in medical shot and the sign for "drugs" such as the kind you inject into your arm--they're ALMOST the same sign! It's just for the sign for "shot", your pointing finger is curved. Of course, I forgot.) So Vu Chu and Shoaib kept signing, "You do drugs?!" and here I am, shaking my head "NO!" and I signed "I signed not correctly." and they still didn't understand. (Then Shoaib signed the word for "crack" and whatever...) Then I signed "I signed wrongly." and then they understood. (PHEW! That was a HORRIBLE misunderstanding.) So, after that, Shoaib and I were signing about how there were so many mosquitoes outside. But there was some black guy standing behind Rahim, doing mock sign language, and the guy walked off, with Shoaib staring at the guy walked off in a angry, surprised look. This is what it looked like: >:0 So we did ITED, which is Iowa Testing for Educational...something. (We're living in TEXAS! Why are we taking an IOWA state test?! I overheard some guy talking about how Texas was a ghetto state and something like that.) The test was a bit harder than the TAKS (which is Texas's state test), but probably because we didn't have this cirriculum. Still, it was basic. UGH. Sitting down for 5-6 hours HURT!!! After we finished...7 parts of the test, it ended, and we talked...a bit. Then we all went to lunch. This was considered 3rd lunch, and because of testing, all of the students got mixed around in different lunches. So we didn't know where to sit! I sat with the Dominiques (both boy and girl), Jessa (she came later) and a few others... Ate...even though my throat hurt. And Jessa asked when I was going over to Karen's house for the Science Fair project... When did she know that? Also, we have a Geometry project that I didn't know about! (I was SICK, remember?!) Dominique (girl) asked me to return one of her books, and I walked to Fitness. Um...what did I do? Talk a bit. Still sick. Did some homework. Yah... Dominique (girl) falling...chewing up paper...throwing that paper at me...and Kai being evil... Um...I took the bus home and RAN THIS TIME! I kept tugging at Aaron and said in a demonic, roaring voice, "HURRY! THE BUS!!!" Danielle (Hispanic) saw me and said, "Ooh Travis, I didn't know you were like that..." (I was pulling on Aaron, and yeah.) But he was staying for Guitar Club, so yah. On the bus, I was teaching Jennifer and Tien sign language! Also, Dominique (boy) came over every now and then to learn! I taught them the numbers... (1-14, basically.) And how to say "My name is..." Pujitha kept wanting to learn things like, "You're ugly." and "You're gay." and insults like that. *sweats* Oh! I also told them "breakfast" looks like "bitch" and "dessert" looks like "date", as in the going-out-on-a-date thing. (Confusing, huh?) Then again, the signs for "medical shot" and "drugs" (heroin, I think) look the same... (Ah, that's how precise with the symbols you must be!) Well, today's my brother's birthday! That's why I came home! I wrote a card for him, and got the family to sign it. Then I went upstairs and did work... Um...my brother kept complaining about how he didn't want a cake and how he didn't want a party, and how it was a hassle. (You got one. Enjoy it.) But he had to get all stupid-sarcasticly (my own word, which means "trying to act sarcastic, but failing miserably"). Ugh. I went down, prayed, and then we ate cake. That's it. Oh my gosh! I have so much to tell you guys!!! I mean it! I mean, I've had a study group/"party", the first concert I've PLAYED IN, and so much more! GAH, just read for yourself! Wednesday In the morning, I was playing Yu-Gi-Oh! against Dominic, and I saw Ivan behind Dominic! I signed to him, and he was just watching. Aaron was looking at Ivan, and he yelled at me, "HE IS NOT DEAF!" (He saw me using sign language, and Aaron thought Ivan could hear him. Because when Aaron was talking, Ivan was nodding back.) So I asked Ivan, "You deaf?" He signed back, "Partly." (So he's half-Deaf... Okay.) In P.E., Akhil didn't bring his racket!!! So I just wandered around. BUT WAIT! I couldn't find my ball!!! I left it by the bleachers, and someone took it! Brett said a Hispanic guy took it. Spiky hair, thin, tall. So I went to the weight room. I sat there and I told them I lost the ball (there's two Hispanic groups of friends in my P.E.; the group that plays soccer, and the group that just hangs around. I was with the group that just hangs around...) and basically, I knew he took it, but didn't tell me. So he said he had to go to his locker, and to check if my ball was in there. At first, I didn't believe him, but it was there. He planted it there. (I checked there 2-3 times already. Oy.) Then, they started playing with the racket and ball, and then one claimed to throw my ball out into the field. The coach yelled at them to give me the ball back, but truth was, it was in the trash can. (Oy.) So that was an interesting day. DGaA - I tried using more sign language to talk. What I talked about...I can't remember! OH YEAH! Geraldine was signing to Ms. Thompson about how Lauren (one of the Deaf girls) wanted to be pop singer, and be famous, like the people in Hollywood! *laughs* But Ms. Thompson thought a Deaf person being a singer was...odd. She replied, "She must be hard of hearing or part-deaf then." (Yes, no one is fully deaf, blind, or mute.) Lunch...er...I sat with Arielle and we just...ate. Geometry... ERRR... I can't remember what we did! What DID we do...? OH RIGHT!!! We took our exams!!! I think I stayed after for clubs that day. Maybe not. I think I did because I talked with the Deaf kids again. So, I headed to the auditorium, where we all practiced for the concert! OHHH!!! I wanted to go check out the light system, but Ryan (I learned his name at the concert, two days after/he does sound and lighting) didn't want me to. Me, Raul, Dominic, Ariel, that black girl with blonde eyes, that large Hispanic guy, and "Anthony" all went up, climbed the catwalk, but all of us except me, Dominic, and "Anthony" got caught. So we went down the other way. Dominic and "Anthony" decided to sit by the door leading towards the catwalk! I went down to "Whitney" (who I later found was actually FRANK!) and listened to his MP3 player of "Blue Orchid", the song he was gonna play for the concert. What was the bus filled with? Me trying to read people's minds... I think I lost that gift. *cries* Thursday Umm...test! I think I did good... Also, we have to start on Science Fair! Transition - We have to so something for Science Fair! It's mandatory for Honor students... Karen, Lauren, and I thought about joining together as a group for the Science Fair! I'm thinking of doing hybridization of plants, and how they affect the environment! Marcos thought it was a cool idea, and gave us an example of mixing a Venus flytrap with a sunflower. A Venus sunflower. (That sounds so cool!) But how would we make that??? And where would we buy them? I was also thinking of cloning flowers, but...eh... We were thinking of titles like: Mutant Flowers (thought of by Karen!) Mutant Flowers and How They Affect the WORLD (I thought of that!) Mutant "X-Men" Flowers (thought of by Lauren! *bursts out laughing*) We decided to go with Karen's. Much more shorter. Geography: I DIDN'T DO MY HOMEWORK! (60 vocabulary words, plus a whole Study Guide page!) I had to turn it in by the end of the day or I would be ZAPed!!! NOOO!!! So I spent my whole lunch period trying to do most of my vocabulary. I sat with my Deaf friends, but I couldn't sign to them because I was too busy doing homework. I told Shoaib I had to finish homework, and Arielle asked why I wasn't eating. In Fitness, I spent more time doing homework! I asked some people in the class to help me! THANK GOODNESS FOR THEM! (Some vocabulary words I couldn't find in the book! I bet he planted those on PURPOSE!) Kai was lying on Raul's back. (Eh?) He was trying to hide his cell phone, I guess. The girl's P.E. class did laps with batons and it looked fun! After that, I walked and talked with Dominique (girl), but I had to rush off to my World Geography class to turn in my homework. WHEW! Just on time! But I was almost late for the bus! (GRR!!!) I fell asleep. But what a nice sleep I had. *laughs* Oh! My mom FINALLY returned my Halloween costume! Friday At the bus stop, Dominic said I looked like a punk...something. *laughs* Anita and Dominic said my hair looked cool; messy but still good-looking. (I was wearing a black shirt with a gray woven shirt under; they were sewn together, and blue jeans. My hair was spiked up in a special way.) AH!!! That day was the Guitar Club Concert! I was so happy! But I spent the morning playing Yu-Gi-Oh! with Ivan... P.E. - I spent the time outside (the chilly air felt SO GOOD!) bouncing a tennis ball back and forth of the school wall. (Travis and Huan were with me too!) Digital Graphics and Animation - Our teacher was late... We came in a bit later anyways, and a sub watched us. Me and Geraldine were done, so we just signed to each other. I was practicing the signs for "but", "to", "from", "and", "because", and words like that. In lunch, Ashley and I were so behind in the line! But they made us switch lines. I found out Ashley knew a bit of ASL, so I asked her to sit with my Deaf friends! Of course, there was no room in the table, but Shoaib and Carolina said we take our seats. Ashley introduced herself to some of the people at the table, but the bell rang, so we basically crammed a bunch of food into our mouths. (OW...) For English, we watched that Disney movie, "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron"! Now for homework, we must do character analysis. GRR. In Geometry, I sat with Thi's group, and we went over our finals! OH MY GOSH! I got a 62! Tara, in the other group, was crying because her mom spent a lot of money for tutoring on her, but she made a 52... (Or something like that.) Poor Tara... But the good thing is, our grades didn't affect our average...I think. (I have an 84... That's not so bad. *sweats*) Danny and Thi asked me to sing the song I was gonna sing for the concert, but my voice was so quiet, they said. So...I went outside, and talked with my Deaf friends! Err...I was trying to explain to them that I was happy about playing and singing in a concert, but I don't think they understood. (Eh...) Um, one of the teachers was trying to talk to the Deaf students, but Rahim translated. Then one of the translators came over, and they had a chat. After that, they got on the bus, and I sneaked in... Shikhar opened the door for me. (YAY!) Practicing for the concert... Um, we went in order... I spent the early time of the concert trying to rehearse my part. (I just got it!) Frank (I kept calling him "Whitney"!!!) was able to listen to "Holiday" a few times, and he was able to learn the whole song! (OH MY GOSH! PLAYING BY HEARING?! I wish I could do that!) So we all practiced... Victoria was in a Jack Sparrow costume, and Heidi was in a schoolgirl uniform! My practice for Holiday was good, but Ms. Jenkins (and other people) wanted it on a lower octave... OH! I kept playing when the song was over, and people in the audience kept screaming, "STOP PLAYING TRAVIS!" (I wanted to slowly fade it out! Also...THANK GOODNESS it was practice! PHEW!) I also had to learn how to set up the chairs and the microphones for the different acts. (I was also a stagehand.) But I was REALLY confused about that and didn't know WHAT THE HECK I was doing. *laughs* Then I went outside and practiced some more with music... I was practicing with Bee Ling, Alvin, Moriah, and Alex. Singing, playing a little bit of guitar, and stuff. I decided I was gonna sing in "Miss Murder" then! Ashley and two of her friends came. She said she forgot my name, so when she said hi, she said, "Hi cutie!" *laughs* Bee Ling and Alvin started singing and playing guitar... Those soft, slow songs with the pretty vocals. It was pretty peaceful then. Ashley said Bee Ling had such a pretty voice. *smiles* But during this time, I was SO HUNGRY! (Try going 1 PM to 9 PM without food!!!) I kept asking if people had change for a $10 bill, but no one did. But one guy gave me a dollar. (Anthony is his name, I think!) But guess what?! The machine ate the dollar! NOO!!! So I asked one of the custodians. She tried digging into the soda machine to reach for it. Then "Anthony" tried and got it out. YAY!!! The Band people got BURGERS!!! I went into the Band hall and saw Niyathi, Jeffrey, and some of their friends! We just talked (and I asked for cookies!) about Kai, Chi, Vy, and whatnot... *laughs* Then on the opposite corner (they were kinda sitting in the corner of two hallways intersecting), I saw Thi and Danny! I told them I was hungry, so Danny told me to go on, sneak in, grab a burger, and get out. He came with me, but we found out there was nothing left. NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Later, Kenny said I could have some of this guy's Church's chicken. I didn't know if I was supposed to eat it, but I ate it anyways. (Well, remember I thought there was no food? WELL...ROBOTICS CLUB HAD PIZZA! I WAS IN THAT CLUB!!! NOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! But I had to stay in the concert to practice, and I was starving for 10 hours, and no one told me there was FOOD THERE!!! I actually found this out on Saturday, so eh... Janice said it was for people who worked in the club, and I wasn't devoted enough. Wah...) Um...it was around now that the concert started... (That girl...that black girl with the blue eyes. I think I know her name, starts with a "T", and it's "fancy"-sounding... But I forgot.) Anyways, she was pretending to be security for the concert. Saying things like, "Get away from there! YEAH, I see you trying to sneak in..." when I was asking a girl where she got her burger. *sweats* So...it was really hyper during the concert. I was a singer, keyboarder, and a stagehand! I FORGOT TO SET UP THE MICROPHONES!!! SHOOT!!! (I SUCK!!! *cries*) I went into the audience and saw Nam, Chi, and Janice! I talked a bit! We were listening to the "Power Rangers" song! Frank and Aaron ran out into the scene, both in sunglasses (Aaron as the Blue Power Ranger, and Frank as an...enemy. It was those slime thingies from the first Power Ranger series. Actually, both had sunglasses, Aaron in a blue jacket, and Frank in a black jacket. That's it.) and were attacking each other! The audience was laughing and clapping so much at the end! but there weren't that many people... The people were spread out, but there were only, like, enough people to fit 2-3 rows. (50-75, I assumed.) Then it was about 2 songs before mines, so I ran backstage! Victoria said she wanted me to do something like what Aaron and Frank did, for one of their songs. So yeah... For "Holiday", I set the tone to "French Horn" and "Grand Piano" on the keyboard. (Earlier, in the practice, I did that, plus "Tuba", and over and over during that time, even when the concert started, Moriah and Bee Ling kept squealing about how CUTE IT WAS! How it sounded like a seal with a horn. *laughs* "Holiday" was good! I missed a few times to play though. Second time, for "Miss Murder", one of the girl's amps was messed up (Aaron set it on "distortion", plus, it was TOO LOUD!!!), so you couldn't hear the singing. Just the guitar playing! Also, Bee Ling and I were sharing the same microphone, so she kept taking it from me. Later, she said she was doing that because she was trying to sing louder than the guitar... *laughs* I ran up and down twice so I could hang out with Janice and Chi during the thing! But the second time I ran to them, Chi had a look of disgust on her face. Wonder why. For Raul's, Dominic's, and Victoria's first set of songs together, they wanted me and Hilda to do their interpretative dance! We had to pretend to be blind people, and try to reach towards the sky. Of course, we made no sense, and for a time, Hilda and I were frozen in a stance. People in the audience had NO IDEA what the HECK we were doing. Logan, Aaron's little brother, said he understood because he knew the song, but his parents didn't understand, so they were like, "What the heck are they doing up there???" Some people thought we were slow-dancing. *laughs* Well, the concert ended after playing Hotel California, and it ended with jokes after. Really dumb ones. *laughs* Lots of jumping around, people from the audience coming to talk to us, setting up the instruments and all the other stuff, and then we talked. Other things about the concert: Everyone kept hanging out in the girl's dressing room. (There was no boy's dressing room, so it was co-ed. *laughs*) Victoria and I kept getting high off of imaginary crack! She would pretend to pull it out of her Jack Sparrow shirt sleeve, grab a bunch, sniff it in, and go, "Ahhh...." *laughs* That's our new hand sign. We also did the bobbing head thing for fun! Me, Dominic, Victoria, and Raul! I learned that Jan is hyper! (Not Janice! Jan! He was the beginning guitarist for the concert. He's Asian, has spiky hair, glasses, and tan skin. But I never really got to know him until the concert.) I asked Aaron's parents to give me a ride home! I used his dad's phone to call my mom at home (by now, it was 10 PM) and she was SO WORRIED! Not really. I told her I was gonna be late, but she thought I meant "late" as in 7 PM. So we ate. And I learned that Aaron is thinking about breaking up with Hilda. He says it's because of religion. Hilda's tied to her religion really strong, plus, her mom doesn't approve of Aaron because he's not Christian. *sigh* It's so hard for him. Then he started to think of ways of making Hilda happy. So then we were discussing that scene with the Power Rangers! This season, it's using cell phones to transform. What next? iPods? Headphones? Speaker system? *laughs* (Yes, the Power Rangers become iPods to fight the forces of evil. *laughs*) They dropped me off home, I stayed on the computer for a while, took a shower, and went to sleep at 12:38 AM... Oy. Busy day. But it was the first concert I've been in. I think I wanna learn "Ultimate" by Lindsay Lohan for the next concert. Also, we're currently looking for gigs, so if you need a band, and live in Houston (southwest area, pwease!), then contact me! *laughs* Saturday Eh... I was SO TIRED from the concert. I woke up around 11 AM, and...just went on the computer, really. My mom asked if I wanted a ride to Hong Kong Mall, but I said I needed a ride to Chi's study group. With lots and lots of persuasion (plus lying), I was able to get to Chi's study group! (It was really just a time where we could hang out.) Still, I brought my homework...and laptop. We were in Chi's room and Janice, Alex, and Sue were there! Kathy and Aaron came later too! We looked through old photos (OH MY GOSH! Kai went from short, to "fat", then to skinny?! EH?!), and ate fried rice and egg rolls. I heard Chi's aunt listening to "Hotel California", which was one of the songs played at the concert! (OOOOOHHH...) Sue kept saying that we were rich! Chi had lots of technology, Alex had a camera, I had a laptop... Oh! And Chi's mom thinks Nam is spoiled... Not spoiled, but something like that. She (Nam's mom) thinks I'm gay, Kai's too quiet and stupid, and Nam's spoiled. (Judgmental much?) Well, I had to go home around past 5 PM. (I was trying to clean out viruses by then. Kathy and the others were watching videos...and yeah.) My mom picked me up, and I ate toffee candy on the way home... My mom bought a DVD/prayer thing at the temple for...$300, plus a Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD for us for a $1. (GAH! WE DON'T EVEN LIKE YU-GI-OH!!!) And guess what? I found out no one else left Chi's house! SHE DIDN'T NEED TO LEAVE AT 5 PM! (Actually, she was, but her parents let her stay home.) NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! They went to Kim Son...which I hated... (I was there last week.) So...I'm at home. On the computer. And I haven't finished my laundry yet... OH! When I got home, Chi (or one of them!) said that Aaron loves me... (What the heck?!) It was a game, and Janice put a ball in Aaron's hands. OH...MY...GOSH. I've been so busy this past weekend! URGH. I feed you guys so much info... Do you really like to read it? I mean, if you don't, I can always shorten it... No one has actually come up to me complaining...so... Tell me...soon... *laughs evilly* Saturday Ah...yes. We went to that new Saigon Houston Palaza place and went to eat at Kim Son. It was...not that great. We did get to make our own soup though! Like a hot pot, and dropping raw seafood and beef and watching it cook... But a short lunch cost us $75... *sweats* There wasn't much in that restaurant anyways... I remember the table to the right of us staring at me as I kept dropping more and more raw food into the hot pot. (I got addicted, all right?!) We went to Hong Kong Mall to check my dad's cell phone...thingy. And then we went home! Then, I biked ALL the way to Janice's house! It was so FUN!!! It was her birthday that day! Zach, Sobia, Nida, Kathy, Alex, Aaron, Chi, Jonathan, Melinda, and Nickkie were there! (Niyathi came later...) We had lots of chips, fruit punch (someone said they put sake into it! EEP!), and candy... We watched an anime movie marathon they had on that new CW channel... (Um, WB renamed their thing to CW.) We were watching Pokemon 2000. I was teaching Alex sign language (some), but Chi was being REALLY xenophobic about it... UGH. When Janice's parents got home, we had Chinese food for dinner... And then...after that...lots of jumping and hollering...like earlier. OH! We had cake! Then we all started dancing... At first, it started with Kathy dancing to a Britney Spears song. (We were using satellite radio; we were listening to Radio Disney!) Then we kinda dared each other to have a dance off. I joined in secondly to a...Jump5 song, and then Aaron did, and everyone followed suit. OH! We took out the glow sticks, broke them up, and turned off all the lights. I remember when they were playing Axel F by Crazy Frog, I was RAVING. But my hands got tired real quick from the fast spinning...and I just went back to jumping. Zach used his chain, and Alex clipped her glow sticks to her chain too. *laughs* She kept taking pictures... Lots of dancing...and dancing... It was so fun! Niyathi came later! She ate some food, then started dancing! Aaron put his blue glow stick in his water bottle and started shaking it around! OHHH...we used the glow sticks as light sabers. *bursts out laughing* After the dancing, everyone was tired, and some people had left already. Vy, Sobia (WAY earlier), Chi... So we sat down and watched Loki Ragnarok while hogging ice cream... *laughs* OH! My mom called me while we were dancing, and she was angry that I wasn't home yet... And she called again around...10 PM to come pick me up. Aaron left a little before me, and everyone joined me outside, basically. I remember Sue running out to Sobia's car, screaming, "WHY DON'T YOU LOVE US?!" They also thought I was gonna bike home at 10 at night, and someone said, "You're gonna be raped." Niyathi added, "You're gonna be raped, mugged, AND shot at." (WHAT THE...?!) Anyways...it was a nice night... I got punished like this: I had to kneel for an hour and pray the rosary over and over... Yah. Sunday I talked with Chi for a while when I first got there! We walked around, but Tay Bich said it was bothering other people. I know Chi's secret now. She likes someone! (Who I'm telling, you'll have to figure out.) Um...I walked with Andy to Wal-Mart and I bought orange slices and Cheetos. But when I looked around, he left. (He said he had to go get something. *sweats*) Anyways...I was sick, sneezing real bad, and it was rainy and humid outside. Oh boy. I was in Viet Ngu 7 class, in a VERY SMALL CRAMPED room, nay HALLWAY. (Imagine a medium-large closet. Yes, THAT small.) So I was sick, trying to learn, and Khang was trying to dig through my bag for candy and chips. And I shared my candy and chips... Diana (my friend) ate a lot, and in the end, she said, "There are some ghetto-tasting Cheetos." *laughs* (It was a generic brand... *sweats*) Um...Confirmation class was...I forgot. OH! We were playing Jeopardy with the other class, and I was so sick that I fell asleep. (Other students were laughing at me... *sweats*) But I was real sick... Yet the TAs and teachers didn't really seem to care. After church, we went out to CiCi's Pizza where I ate...a lot. And sat with my sister...bleh. Monday I played Yu-Gi-Oh! with Dominic. I won. In the morning, I walked up to Geraldine's table and it was weirdly...QUIET. EH. So weird... I think I made everyone feel awkward... I learned that Indian guy's name! Ya know, with the spiky hair and glasses. It's Shoaib. Gah, I had to ask him two times to get it right. (Then, I forgot it it in P.E. and DGaA, and spent a lot of time trying to remember it. *laughs*) In P.E. I played wall ball! With a tennis ball and racket. But the ball was so weak...and Huan was still limping... I just slept by him. DGaA. I finished my koala cloud picture! And Geraldine's cloud looks really good too! English...what DID we do...? We read Snow, about a girl from Cuba (or Dominician Republic, I think) that moved to America to escape troubling times in her country. And she learned English... Words like holocaust, nuclear bomb, etc. (Very sad first words for a 4th grade girl to learn, huh?) In Lunch, I sat with Tien and them, but switched over to Geraldine's table. I was looking at what she was eating, and I asked her what it was. She signed that it was potato with grilled cheese. (I signed back that I thought it was an apple! *laughs*) Oh...and Miriam and some of the others (Waheed too!) started asking if we wanted (or were) boyfriend/girlfriend. We just rolled our eyes at them...and hit Waheed. *laughs* OH! In the lunch line, I was standing by Victor, and the two Hispanic people, a guy and girl, were talking (actually, the girl was squealing) about how Victor was SO CUTE. I turned around to see who was talking about him, and I saw her face, and she gave me this look of...ugh. (I was signing to other students, and she probably thought I was Deaf.) It's funny. Ever since I've been signing, more and more people think I'm Deaf...but I'm not. *sweats* Heck, my ASL isn't even that good! *sweats* Geometry...er...we were in the Computer Lab! We had to take online test! But I only got finished with TWO OF THEM! (GAH!) Everyone either couldn't find/remember their passwords, PLUS the computers were lagging like heck! UGH... OH MY GOSH. It was raining so hard yesterday! I remember a crowd of students screaming, trying to get out of the school, and outside, it's raining like HECK. Like INFINITE bullets shooting across the sky!!! I mean it! They were HEAVY and even UMBRELLAS DIDN'T HELP. Morning was the same, but not as bad as this! I mean when everyone was coming in, we were all DRIPPING! UGH... Oh, my dad went back to work today. He's not coming back until a month later. He gave me $10 as a good-bye present... Today I played Yu-Gi-Oh! with Dominic and went to go sit with Geraldine's table...only she wasn't there. I asked Vu Chu and Shoaib if they were doing anything for Halloween, and Vu Chu signed that he was gonna dress up as a girl with big breasts. (I just HAD to burst out loud! First of all, Vu Chu is this thin, Vietnamese, spiky haired guy, and I can't imagine him as a girl. *sweats*) Candy came up into the conversation, and Lauren (Hispanic) was signing how when you go trick-or-treating, how you're gonna get into a fight with the person when they don't give you candy... *laughs* "Where's my candy?!" *bursts out laughing* I headed to IPC...where we did elements...and such. UGH. I couldn't finish my work...too much crowding. In Transition, I sat with Karen, and she shared with me this Brazilian drink with condensed milk, fruit juice, and ginger ale. EVERYONE thought it looked gross! Even the TEACHER! (It was a pink/brown/gray color... *laughs*) But it tasted REALLY GOOD! Later, when I tried it again, it had this...texture I really didn't like. Sam and another guy (can't remember name) tried it, but they said "No comment." That other guy--I thought he knew sign language... Well, not really. But he kept signing to me words I didn't understand... *sweats* Until I realized he was signing words like "b!tch" and "f#ck you"... GAH. Is that all he can sign...? Off to Geography! Oh! Chi gave me my umbrella. She said Aaron found it on the table, and I left it there. (Silly me! *sweats*) In Geography...what did I do? We did...work. Lots ands lots of note testing. And Reba came into class holding pizza from her Advisory! OH... For my Advisory, we went over high school credits... And she DID bring us candy, but because Ashley said she was late, she wanted to set an example and be responsible. So she'll give it to us next time. (NOOO!!!!!!) Lunch... Err... I sat with Chi, Jonathan, Meredith, and Zach. Later, I went outside to see where Alma and her friend (what's her name...? I never asked...) were sitting. But I found Whitney, Alvin, Dominic, Lauren (the black/guitar player one!), and the group sitting outside! OHH... Then I realized that Alma was back at the other table! I took a chair and sat by Ileana, and I asked where Geraldine was. She doesn't have that lunch. *sweats* I heard a black girl behind me say to another girl at her table, "Shoot, look at them all pretending to sign. You know they can hear." And I remember them talking about me a while ago, saying how I wanted to learn sign language, but I wasn't Deaf. (Okay, I'm not Deaf! But is it wrong to want to learn it...?) Fitness... Err... We did Tae Bo. Dominique (girl) said she would teach me how to do sign language if I didn't sign and talk at the same time. ('Cause that's annoying if I just try signing at her, she said.) Lauren (black/guitarist) says I shouldn't use sign language around her... Bleh. Um...after school! I went outside and chatted with Geraldine and her friends! Waheed kept signging about me and Geraldine being boyfriend/girlfriend, and again, we hit him. (He still kept gesturing to kiss and whatnot. Ugh...) He left, and he said he didn't have football today. So I was talking with Alma, Geraldine, Rahim, and I learned a new name! Her name is Arielle, and I see her sometimes, but never learned her name. We just talked about why I stayed after school (club) and they waited for their bus to come. Rahim kept signing that Alma was a "loser" (L on forehead) and Geraldine signed once that she was "dumb"... *sweats* It was to the point where I tried to ask Rahim a question that he kept replying, "Loser! Loser!" (Oh my gosh...!) So...their bus came, and I said bye to them and headed back into the school. Of course, the teacher wouldn't let me in, so I had to walk around the back. Shikar kept saying, "No no Travis... You have to stay outside..." But Shanna let me in, thank goodness. I worked on editing the pages for our book/manual for Robotics. I also worked on one of my themes...which I must finish...and stop messing around with. *sweats* Umm...did some revision and editing for the Robotics book thingy with Andrea and another girl. WOW, there were so many grammatical errors! Not bad ones, but they were...tense confusion, and the use of "we", which we weren't supposed to use. Umm...I played with Ashley's ears for some reason. Like Kagome playing with Inuyasha's ears. *laughs* I talked with Danny and Jacob, who were coming from Band. Jacob's interested in my sign language and asked where I learned it... Also...the Band people got PIZZA!!! DAMN THEM... I was HUNGRY... I got on the bus...and went home. I talked with Ronita...which reminds me. I should e-mail Paulisha! I learned that girl's name! The one who lives by me, and I see everyday when I bike! Her name's Elicia, but she likes to be called Celeste. (That's her middle name.) I also signed to Kaether, who mistook the word "talk" for 'bitch"... (How do you get "talk" to become "bitch"?!) Dominic was signing SexyBack, and I said, "It's times like these I see how Deaf people have it easily..." Akhil said, "Ooh, Dominic, he dissed you." And then he was sitting in this middle-of-the-seat, legs-spread-far-apart, eyes-real-open glanced, and then I said, "Wait, I mean how lucky Deaf people and Blind people are..." Then Akhil said, "Ooh Dominic, you got double dissed." Then Dominic took Akhil's "pimp stick" and HIT MY HAND with it like a hammer. I think my hand's still sore from that... (From the bus ride and home, I couldn't really sign with my right hand without hurting it...) Umm...my mom really needs to return my stuff to the store...soon. And...I need to do homework. Bye!
