Alors todos! Boy, I've got much to tell ya!
Hmmm...the day started off with yelling... My mom had screamed at me to get up for my chiropractor appointment, but also because my mom was pissed about my dad's friends.
Now...why did I have to go to the chiropractor? Well, a Friday on one of the middle weeks of April, I went ice skating with my friends (Alessandra, Nickkie, Melinda, etc.) who were meeting up with the Travis badminton team, and I met up with some of my old friends! Sabrina, some of the girls I met at Anime Matsuri...
Hmm. Oh yeah! I saw Raul there! He happened to be staying at First Colony mall for the whole day, since his mom was working there. I met up with him at the mall, and we hugged. I swear I hugged him too much though. There were even a group of girls oggling (oogling?) their eyes at us while we were hugging... Blah.
Well, ice skating. It was my first, skating at all! It took me tons and tons of tries! I fell a lot, but the guy who worked there, plus all the girls there (especially my new friends Tiffany and Sophia!), were really supportive for me! The guy who was working there said that I kept "pretending" to fall so that all the girls would come and flock to me. Hah.
In the end, a bit past 10 PM, I started to skate in, but I fell, my head slammed into the ice, and bounced! I got pulled into the stands. The policewoman gave me ice for my head, and the teacher (the club's supervisor) was there... I changed out of my shoes, and we all went home...
I got home around 11 PM, and my mom was angry, and I told her about the accident. We went to the chiropractor next Monday, and it turned out I had whiplash! Blah!
After a few therapies though, my neck got back to normal.
Well, this time, it was just a check-up. My mom had one too, and while I was waiting, I was reading a Spanish magazine on the brain and how our memories work. I understood...most of it. Hehe.
After that, we went to go eat at Seoul House, a Korean restaurant just across the street! It was my first time eating Korean food, but while we were ordering, I asked the man if he knew Korean in Korean. He smiled, looked at my mom, and asked if she spoke Korean. She was just confused.
I continued to use more of my Korean (thank you Bokju!) while ordering, and I tried to teach my mom "thank you" in Korean (it's "gamsahamnida"), but she kept mispronouncing it.
Really neat place. Food was spicy. I love me some spicy food. Puahahas.
After that, we went shopping at a place called Sun's Club (pssh! the name is CLEARLY ripped off from "Sam's Club"!), an Asian wholesale store. We bought some food (24-pack of Rice Krispies for $8! Yay!!!), while my mom chatted with a random stranger who walked around with us while we were shopping.
Then...we headed home!
I ate some more, then headed up to the computer.
I've been up here since then, talking with SG and Karen (or the Bokju I referred to earlier).
Hmm...I just had to go pour some oil into a bucket with my sister and it kept splashing into our clothes. Well...more like my sister's clothes and arms.
I guess that's it. Shoot, I didn't have free time to tell you. Except about the ice skating incident! That was in April, when I was inactive on this site.
Heh heh, believe me or not, but your old grandpa had a life back when he quit MyOtaku for a while. *nods in agreement*
Why'd I just call myself "grandpa"...?
Anyways, I'm going to go on a junk food crazy thing.
And SG's trying to get Spartan abs, or so he says on MSN. (*bursts out laughing*)
Bye!
Note: Oh yeah! When I asked that man "Do you know Korean?" in Korean, I actually said, "Do you have Korean?" in Korean! Bokju pointed that out. (I confuse my Korean verbs too much!!!)
