Hiya guys! I've been having a pretty good weekend so far. I don't really feel like posting... For some reason, I've been feeling a bit depressed lately. I'm jump into these feelings of depression every now and then lately, but I don't know why...

Anyways, I'm still gonna post. So...let's start with Thursday!

On Friday, my siblings and I went to go get our teeth clean. I took along my Lord of the Flies book, and I managed to finish it! Phew! I'm done with summer reading!

In the dentist's office, my mom finally let me go to the Harry Potter seventh book premiere party!

Ew, what a mouthful! Let's just say "HP7 party", okay?

I was so happy, so I tried calling Becky over and over. She wouldn't answer right away though.

Afterwards, I went into Barnes & Noble, where my sister was buying a stack of manga. After that, we headed to Starbucks and she bought chai tea. My mom was shopping around...

We headed home afterwards, and in the evening, I went and tried to finish my staff...

Now Friday!

I woke up around...10 AM or noon, and I biked to Aaron's house, borrowed some sandpaper and a sander...block thingy, and finished my staff! It wasn't as professional as I wanted it to be, but eh. It's good enough, right?

My mom finished sewing up the cloak we had planned out last night! Yay! A cloak!

Around 5 PM, after eating, my mom drove me to First Colony Mall, where I met up with Becky.

We, at first, started talking about our cosplays. You see, I was doing Nymphadora Tonks (yes, a girl!), and Becky was doing Fluffy.

And since I was Tonks...guess what? I had to dye my hair PINK!!!

Becky started taking a bunch of stuff out: sandpaper (I had asked her for it earlier, but didn't need it anymore), two doggy puppets for her cosplay, and so on...

We, not knowing what we were doing, started walking around the mall.

People kept staring all the time though. I mean, two Asian kids wearing ALL BLACK. Yes, we were wearing ALL black. Plus, I was carrying a wooden staff around! People just looked at us like we were emo (no, we're not!), or weirdoes!!!

Becky bought McDonald's, and as she was eating outside, I went to go spike my hair.

Akhil came a bit afterwards...

All the people started pouring in, all with their cute adorable Hogwarts uniform and such!

Meanwhile, Becky went crazy with the pink hairspray, and just dousted my black clothes in it!!! ARGH... Akhil helped spray too, but he wasn't as crazy as Becky.

I ran in to the bathroom, where Nicole and Jo saw me with...pink ears. (Bwahaha!!!)

I met up a lot with Becky's friends too, and some friends that I met at the skating rink (and Anime Matsuri!) in April!!!

Akhil and I started screaming Harry Potter spells at each other. Bwahahaha.

By this time, Becky had started putting on her Fluffy costume. You see, earlier, she had just been wearing ALL black... A black shirt, black skirt, long black socks, and black shoes. One girl thought asked, "Are you Cho?" went Mariah came later. Hehe, that was so cute!

But she changed...in the middle of PUBLIC!!! You see, the girl's bathroom was filled with people, so she slipped on her jeans, and pulled off her pants...in FRONT of a crowd of little kids! (We were by the fortune-telling booth.)

Also, Becky's two other heads were the doggy puppets I played with earlier. They were so cute, and I just played with them the entire time I was there!

A lot of people were looking at me, saying, "Oh, my gosh, he is so cool!" Or, "I wish I could speak Korean." (Um...I live in the United States!!!)

More girls later started pointing to me and screaming like fangirls, saying stuff like, "Oh my gosh! He is so hot!!!" Oh my gosh, I've never gotten this much attention in my life!

Even random Asian guys I heard from across the hallway of the bookstore pointed at me and said, "Wow, that guy's got some cool hair..."

Being a cosplayer is so much fun... Hehe. (I swear I was smiling the entire time I was there!!!)

This basically went on the ENTIRE time... I feel so flattered, hehe.

The costume party was next, and when I went upstage, everyone just laughed at the thought of a BOY doing a cosplay of Tonks! It was ironic, however, that the girl who went before me was Tonks as well! (Shoooot, hers was better than mines!!)

In the end, a little girl who was cosplaying as the Weeping Willow won! Becky won second place!!! YAY!!!

I'm surprised the guy who did Hagrid didn't win. Hmm....)

A bunch of us met up and tried to play Tag in the bookstore. I was paired up with Akhil, and we had to find Becky. But oh gosh, it was so hard to find her!

Oh yeah! While searching for Becky and her friends, I met up with that girl from Travis! I waved hi to her, and someone asked, "Who's that?" She replied, "Oh, that's just Asian Slave Man. He sells himself for money." (My thought then: HUH?!?!)

And then...almost midnight. EVERYONE started crowding around us, so we couldn't move AT ALL!!! It was stuffy, and so hard to breathe!

Akhil's parents went in line to buy the book... Oh yeah, and Becky left. Since Becky won the costume contest, she got SECOND PLACE IN LINE for the book!!! Grrs...

Me and Akhil went outside to breathe, and Akhil had to leave shortly afterwards, when his parents came outside after buying the book.

Then, there were a group of girls who cosplayed as Ravenclaws talking about me. All I heard was "Stick boy" and that's it... Hmm.

I started to walk around the store to front, where I sat on a bench. There was this girl, black, probably about my age, with her brother, and she had asked me if I bought the book yet. We got into conversation, and probably went on talking for, probably, five minutes, and she had left.

Ahhh...it's rare to meet people like that nowadays.

It was strange too... When I first got to the mall, and I held open the door to a woman with kids, her face was just exclaiming with happiness, as if no one had held a door open for her in years.

Wow. City folk are weird. *laughs*

After that, a group of Asians started passing by, whispering, "Ask him!" "No way! If you ask him, I'm gonna hit..."

Then an Asian guy comes out from the group, scans me from head to toe (eh?), and asks, "Hey, can we get a picture of you?"

Me, not knowing what to do, just replied with a small "Sureeee...."

The girl (high school? College?) got so happy, and said, "Wait! I want to be in the picture! No wait, you take the picture!"

It was so funny to see her reaction!

And then, as we finish the picture, my mom starts waving to him, and one of the guys starts laughing.

Oh boy.

Well, my mom thought they were my friends, but they were just random people who wanted to take pictures with a cosplayer. No big deal.

Oh yeah. Did I mention that we wandered around for quite a while, trying to look for an open gas station?

We were almost out!!! I got so scared...

When we DID find one, there were a group of black guys screaming to a Middle Eastern man about buying chips.

I'm not sure if they do this in other cities, but when night comes, gas stations lock all their doors, and you have to pay via window for anything you want.

I had only been living here for two years, and this was the first time I've seen this. Huh.

Well, I ate, showered, then went to sleep around...2 AM. That was fun.

Now...today!

I woke up around 1 or 2 PM, and stayed on the computer all day. Well, not really. I did laundry and I began watching Heroes again. I miss it, and it's getting REALLY good.

Wow you guys...that was a SUPER LONG POST. I haven't done a long one in WEEKS. Hehe. You guys are lucky...or unlucky, however you wish to view it.

I'm heading to bed now. Good night, you guys!

Edit: Oh shoot. I tore Aaron's dad's foamy sanding thingy!!! NOOO!!!
