Translating Tsubasa Vol. 2 Words!
Warning: What you will see ahead is a contest. Pay attention to it!
~Wan An, Mei Hua!~
Sorry I wasn't on yesterday. I was at Parkdale Mall. I bought some new manga! My sister, PandaMoon, bought Tsubasa Vol. 2! Because I'm nice, I'll translate one of the "weird" bubbles when Syaoran, Fai, and Kurogane couldn't understand each other. Mokona was the translator, but he was taken hostage. It's on page 77. The first word bubble that Kurogane had that was "X O", I'll translate. Here are the Chinese words that were included.
"Fly" "Today"
<> ^
@ X
"Continue" X
X "Bird"
X []
? @
----- "Where is"
I put them in order by how they look in the word bubble. But they won't space out right! Oh yeah, the @, [], etc. can't be translated. They're symbols! If anyone believed those were real Chinese words, I'd burst out laughing.
This is the contest: Guess the sentence! ^^ Put it in the "Comments" part. Whoever wins, I'll post it up. I won't be on for a week, so this will be on for a while.
Review: The Chinese words Kurogane spoke were "Fly," "Today," "Continue," "Bird," and "Where is." Use these words correctly in a sentence. If you say the right sentence, you win!
