My First Day of School! (Yup, I'm Five Years Old and I'm Just Starting School... LOL)

Hello! Sigh, it's such a tiresome day. I started school today, and I'm tired. *yawns*

Let's start with yesterday.

Yesterday: Well, my dad made me, my sister and my brother go walking. I decided to go farther out, and my sister came along. We left the house around 7:30 PM and came back at 9:30 PM.

When we left our subdivision, some guys in a car "WHOO!"-ed at us because we were holding hands...? (We're brother and sister!)

When my parents asked where we had been, my sister and I both replied "We went around the world in eighty...minutes." (We were gonna say "days"... LOL)

Then we bathed. Ah... After a hot night, a cold bath feels good... Then we got our stuff ready like our folders, pencils, binders, etc. (Then we found out we didn't need to pack all that stuff... o_O!)

Now for today!

Well, during the night, my mom kept coming into our rooms and doing stuff. One of the things she did was make us take off all our jewelry! (My gold chain! ...Is that jewelry???) Eh, she did that with my sister and brother.

So my brother left at 6:25 AM, way before we woke up. (Actually, I didn't even sleep...)

My sister and I woke up at 7:05 AM. (Why the ":05"? Well, do you know when people say "Just five more minutes?" My sister insisted we added five more minutes of sleep. XP) So we woke up, got our hygiene done, change clothes, grabbed our backpacks, and went downstairs.

My mom kept trying to tie my sister's hair and I just put on shoes. (I didn't buy any new ones! LOL) Well, the paper said we only needed to pack pencil, pens, and a notebook for the first day. (So me and my sister unloaded EVERYTHING we had...)

So we went outside and waited for the bus, along with some Indian kids. (And I actually mean Indian, not Native Americans. How can so many people get that mixed up???)

So my sister and I just kicked some dirt and waited. There was one time my sister forgot to bring her house keys, and I had to run back to the house to get them. (With a hurt knee. Yes, I hurt my knee walking yesterday, if you read the top. Good news is that we're the first house on our subdivision.)

After I got the keys, gave them to her, we started doing blah stuff. Then the bus came...for me! (Yes, even though we go to the same school, we ride different buses.) But she had to ride with me because her bus never came. So she rode with me.)

I got to the school, said good-bye to my sister and left. (She has the same school, different campus.)

So adjusting wasn't that bad. But I felt outta place 'cause everyone knew everyone else. (Then again, there were a lot of new subdivisions popping up...) So I went to homeroom. Guess what? They didn't have my schedule! (Don't you hate that? Going to school, and they don't have your schedule?) So for first period, I had to wait in the cafeteria, along with 50 more people. We filled out our names on some paper. The reason we didn't get to go in is because of some shot stuff. (Eh... Stupid. But I still got to go to class...without taking the shots. ^^)

So... Going to American History... ARGH!!! I TOOK THIS ALREADY IN 7th GRADE! ASK ALAINA!!! (Actually, it was Texan history in 7th grade...)

Bah... For the first day they just make us get some supplies for them.

Next was...Algebra! Taught by a Nigerian man! Some people were laughing about his accent... It was pretty easy understanding what he was saying. ('Cause when you live with a bunch of people who can't pronounce English words right, you start to understand words that aren't spoken correctly too.)

Then it was gym. Stupid! You see, at my old school, I had to take a whole school year of gym 'cause I missed a year. But I don't have to do it here! Ya see, if I took one semester P.E., and second semester Health, I can get high school credit. I think I can also do that with Algebra. (Or not.) Oh well. I've learned two things:

1. If you take ANY school in the whole U.S., they expect you to dress out in P.E. clothes, and you gotta pay for them. Eck.

2. Most school systems are alike, no matter where they are.

After we took roll, the coaches (We have three.) explained our rules, asked for people who wanted to try out for football, and then we started playing basketball. I couldn't play very well 'cause I couldn't jump or run, because of that "hurting knee" from the morning, when I ran to get my sister's keys.

So... After that, lunch. But I think it's more horrible than the one at school. No, it's not the food.

1. You can't sit with girls. (Damn!)

I think that's all. But for the other fact, it's all right.

Oh yeah, Alaina? Remember when you said I might meet the "twins" of people? I think I found "Floyd and Reginald"... LOL

After that, art! Eh, so stupid. We made "origami" folders... For our work... XP

Then it was English! It was nice, a li'l fun. But just like Mrs. Walker, beginnings can be deceiving... (You see, at the beginning of our 7th grade year, we thought Mrs. Walker would be a fun teacher... Turns out...NOPE!) Well, same thing. We just got assigned seats and introduced ourselves. (Some girl wanted to know our ethnicities???)

Oh yeah! I met a Filipino girl who likes Inuyasha! How could I tell? (She was wearing an Inuyasha bookbag thingy.) I also learned that her birthday is also the same date as Lan! (Yes, our Lan. ^^) Hmm... What else? She almost looks and TALKS like my cousin Christina.

But guess what? Even thought it's her first day at school, it's her last day too. (She's moving over to Sugar Land. That's the place where Hong Kong Mall is close to.)

There goes another lost friend... =(

So far, I haven't met any people except her who like anime.

Well, guess what? We were supposed to get out of school at 3:45 PM or 4 PM, but somehow, I got home at 5 PM. Eh... I've been better. When I got home, I drank a big glass of water, ate, and slept.

Oh yeah! My older brother made an Indian friend, the same guy who I was waiting at the bus stop with. He wanted to know something about homework...

OH YEAH! My sister didn't come home yet! And it was almost 5:30 PM! My dad made me get into the van and drive around until we found her bus. It didn't take that long... -_- GUESS WHAT?!?! There was, like, three other parents who were worried about their children and started following the buses! LOL! (I feel sorry for those kids. Being humiliated like that.) It just seems like the buses were late about an hour and a half... That's all.

Well, my sister came home at 6 PM, and that's kinda late.

So my first day has been hectic. There's no homework, which is good, but WE HAVE TO BUY SO MUCH MORE SUPPLIES! (LIKE WE'RE GONNA USE THEM!)

Well, see ya. I think I'll change me theme. I might not have time though...

End: 6:30 PM CST

A 28-minute post... Haha
