Oh, I want to post about yesterday... So yeah! (I'm sorry. Yesterday, I had to go to church until 11 PM...)
Christmas Eve
Well, I woke up around 11 AM, and wanted to do some late Christmas shopping... But my siblings wanted to play video games, and my dad was...procrastinating...
SOO... My dad didn't want to leave until 3 PM!!! But guess what???
My A Pa (Cantonese for "grandmother"... I call her that, but she's not really...) brought over some relatives!!! Uh, a man and a woman, two boys, and a little girl!!! (HOW CUTE!!)
The little girl's name was Gwendolyn! (which I just learned means "white eyebrows" in Celtic on Yahoo!!!!) Well, we first started talking because she saw our fish aquarium, but there were no fish... She asked about that and I told her that they died, but we still kept the tank...
Well, my dad and mom let them sit for company... (NOO! No Christmas shopping...?)
Then my mom called me to get refreshments... I went into the garage to grab the Coca-Cola cans, and I told my brother to bring them into the kitchen... (He just handed the cans to them while holding the box!!! XP)
Well, Gwendolyn and her family lives in San Jose, California! (That's where most of my cousins are from...) I asked Gwendolyn if she knew Cantonese, but she said she's full Vietnamese... (Wait... But how does her mom understand it...? @_@)
Okay, so Gwendolyn, my brother, and I went to go play "Super Smash Bros. Melee"! She kept saying that she wanted to be the "strongest guy in the world"... (She kept choosing people like...Bowser, Ganondorf, and stuff like that...) She kept losing though... Then she told us to let her win... (Aww, how cute. But yeah, I tried to let her win, but Ricky kept killing her...)
Then we decided to do Team Battle... We were all Pichus... (I was the sexy red one... *laughs* I'm playing!!! But he is wearing red, and handbands... It makes him look like a bandit...or a headbanger... *bursts out laughing*)
Gwendolyn was the blue pilot, and Ricky was regular.
Well, at first, that didn't turn out very well... (We were the same people, but I didn't put on Team Battle!!!) Then when we did, we won! ^^
Aw, but Gwendolyn had to leave an hour later... (At 4 PM...) My mom and dad took her parents for the tour of the house... (And I went to play a bit of MapleStory!!!)
Well, in MapleStory, I was decorating a tree, when some girl walked up to me and started asking weird questions... Like: "Are you a boy? Are you straight? Are you hot? Can I see your picture?" Weird questions, eh?) Gosh, and I wasn't even talking to her... (She even asked if I was a nerd because I kept typing correct grammar... WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT?!?!)
Well, I had to leave for Christmas shopping, and she called me a "b!tch"... T_T
Uh, so when I did go Christmas shopping, my brother, my dad, and I headed to the shopping center by the mall. My dad said he would come back for us half an hour later... We went to GameStop.
Ah, GameStop... THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE!!! IT WAS CROWDED!!! (Does everyone go late Christmas shopping?!?! o_O!!!)
Well, I went in line and bought "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" for my sister!!! And my brother got addicted to "Mario Kart DS", so I left for Barnes and Nobles...
There, THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE READING MANGA BOOKS AND NOT BUYING!!! (There was this Asian boy at my school who had...13 volumes of "Bleach" piled up beside him, and he was READING IT!!! ...WITHOUT PAY!!!)
Isn't that loitering...?!
Gosh, I don't like people who do that... If they were allowed to, I bet they would read everything in that bookstore without pay... T_T But whatever.
So my brother came over!!! NOOO!!! And he started reading manga... After a while of staring at NOTHING, I went back to GameStop...
MY BROTHER WASTED HIS $5 ON YU-GI-OH! CARDS! (How cheap is he?) Well, my brother asked for a phone, but made me call... (MY DAD LEFT US HERE FOR TWO HOURS!!!) Well, I called home, since I didn't know my dad's new cell phone number... So I asked my mom to call him... (He went shopping...AT A DIFFERENT CENTER...30 MINUTES AWAY!!!) Oh gosh!!! @_@ So after telling my mom to call him, my brother and I left the store and waited outside, and I started to sing Christmas carols... (If I knew all the words, I could probably be some kind of "will-sing-for-money"...or caroler. *giggles*)
Well, my dad finally picked us up a bit later... AND ALL THE STORES WERE CLOSED!!! (Dammit! I wanted to go to "Best Buy" for more stuff!!!) My dad's so cheap... He gave me $5 to spend for our Christmas presents... T_T
Well, my sister's present was the ONLY present under the tree... ^^;; I wrapped it, but my mom wanted to help... While I was picking out a bag for Chi's birthday/Christmas present, I asked my mom where the Christmas cards were. (In the Christmas card box, there's some stickers with the "To" and "From" on them...) Guess what? My mom just blew up and said "If you keep asking me about cards, I'm gonna take a knife and stab it in your back!" (WOW... The Christmas begins, and I get a threat from my mom to stab me with a knife... T_T) But it's always like that... My dad likes to use "If you don't (blank), I'll slit your throat!" but okay... Whatever. (Most Vietnamese parents I know use stuff like that.)
And we went to church around 8 PM, but mass didn't start until 10 PM (before then, it was full of carolers!!! There were some little violinists, but the Vietnamese mass songs bored some people to death... When the Christmas music started, everyone clapped so loud... Or maybe it was because there were more people there...), which lasted until 11 PM... (We got home around 11:48???) Oh yeah! John and Anna were the...altar servers... ^^
Well, EXACTLY when midnight struck, my sister opened the present and we played RIGHT AWAY!!! (We couldn't hear the introduction since my dad was being SO LOUD ON THE PHONE, so I turned up the volume...) HE HIT ME WITH MY DDR PAD!!!
Well, we played until 12:30 midnight, and our dad yelled at us to turn it off... We went to go eat first, some vegetables stir-fry with rice (we were hungry after church), and then I went to sleep...around 1 AM.
Today
I was awakened around 8 AM by my sister, who wanted to play "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire"... Well, we played until...11 AM, since we're now stuck on the dragon racing part...
My sister made a high score of Brozne and Silver, but we can't seem to beat Gold. On Silver, my sister beat the game in less than two minutes... Gosh, she shouldn't have made it so high...???
Well, my parents wanted us to clean the house and do chores... (Why? It's Christmas... *cries*) Well, we did... But we locked the feather duster in the computer room, so now I am here... Yeah.
Well, Merry Christmas to you all, and to all a good...morning, day, evening, night... @_@
