I Would've Posted Five Days Ago, But My Brother Killed the Computer!!!
Start: 6:10 PM CST
Hey guys!!! Yeah yeah... I haven't posted... GRR. I would've, but remember I told you my brother messed up the computer? Well, it caused even more problems, and I spent this ENTIRE week trying to fix it! Plus, I had TAKS test!!! GRR!!! (I've been so stressed!!!
So let's start with Saturday, eh?
Saturday
Well, this day, I didn't go anywhere until...1-3 PM? And my mom, me, and my sister went to the mall to go clothes shopping! XP But the moment I reached the mall, I started to sneeze a lot... I thought it wouldn't bother me, but I ran around the mall the entire time with a fever-like face, sneezing, and covering my nose... -_-;;
Oh, when we were in Foley's, I was with my sister and she kept looking through the girl's clothes... It's kinda weird how most shirts today are just regular shirts with printed words, eh? XP My sister found some Keroppi shirts and frog shirts and stuff... XP
We stopped by Sears too, and my sister wanted to buy more Hello Kitty/Happy Bunny shirts, but my mom wouldn't let her... -_-;; My mom said if she bought those and then washed them, they'll shrink. ^^;;
Well, I bought a pair of black jeans. XP Oh yeah! When I was picking out clothes with my sister, I saw Christian... At first, I didn't know who it was, but I turned around and saw him in a baseball cap. XP Well, I was gonna get a ton of other stuff at the mall, but my mom or sister kept saying it was ugly, too dark, too bright, etc. -_-;;
Oh yeah! My sister stopped by the boy's clothes' department because she wanted one of those shirts that said "Want to know how to keep an idiot busy? (Look at back)" And on the back it said "Want to know how to keep an idiot busy? (Look at front)" XP (My sister said she wants to buy more guy clothes... XP)
After that, we stopped by Wal-Mart to do some more shopping...
I got hungry by that time, and I wanted to stop by and buy something from McDonald's. XP My sister said she'll just buy me a soda. -_-;;
but my sister went into the book department and tried to look for "The Notebook"... (Her friend Kevin recommended it, but she slipped it that it wasn't such a "child's book" to read, if you know what I mean... o_O;;)
We bought some groceries, and my mom wanted to buy ice cream, but I told her if she bought that, and we stopped by McDonald's to eat, it would melt. So my mom gave me $10 and Diana and I went to go eat. (My mom wanted my sister to order because she needed more social skills. XP I ordered though, and she went "Hey! I was supposed to order!" Me: "Well, you were just standing there..." XP)
Oh yeah. When I went to go get the food, the person who worked there said "Sir, here's your food" and a woman grabbed the bag. o_O;; So after a while we ate, my mom came in, and we just sat there, and she got tired of looking at us eat, so she got a doughnut and ate it... XP
So when I got home, we had to get ready for church... (It started at 9 PM.) My sister and I were watching "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" on Disney Channel... And after a long wait for my parents to get ready, we headed towards church.
Well, my sister wanted to sit away from my parents and we did. But the woman on the left of my sister asked in Vietnamese that we go get candles. I asked the girl on the right where we could, and she said in the front of the church. I went (and Diana followed), and Ricky brought me two candles for both of us.
Oh, it was so cool. Well, I think it was the Stations of the Cross mass that day... All the lights in the church were turned off... Every single one of them. We were covered in darkness... And then, people with lighted candles passed on the fire to everyone, and it was pretty... A roomed filled with hundreds of candles... Just illuminating the church. It gave this religious feeling around the area, you know?
Well, the candles were blown out after a while, but for some reason, I kept holding onto my candle. o_O;; (Later, I did put it down. XP)
Now, I have to tell you... This mass was LONG. It lasted THREE HOURS... So it was from 9 PM to midnight. But I didn't mind...
Oh yes. There was a Baptism going on. (Easter is the best time to get baptized, or so I've heard. That is, if you want to convert.) But I heard some people in the row behind me saying "What are they doing?" "What is the point of this?" I also heard a bunch of stuff about them, and I wondered if they were Buddhist... Yeah, first of all, they were questioning the Catholic religion and didn't understand anything in it, second, they kept mentioning something about Buddha and stuff... And third, there were people that were converting.)
Well, it was cool watching all the baptisms... And we (Diana and I) even stayed 'til the end to watch all of them get baptized. But by the time we got out, it was...12:15 or 12:35 at midnight... o_O;; (My mom said she was tired because she spent the time that day shopping with Diana and I... ^^;;)
When we got home, I had a little bit of rice, watched some T.V., and decided to go to sleep around 1-2 AM... (My brother was on the computer!!! @_@!!!)
Easter Sunday
Yes yes... My dad woke me up around 9-10 AM and told me to get dressed to go to church.
At church, my whole family sat together this time. (My sister doesn't like to sit with my family because she thinks they're annoying and hates them all...except me. XP)
But when we got home, my parents asked if we wanted to go to an Open House party thing for one of their friends. I really wanted to go!!! My mom was about to not, because she needed to start cooking...
But my mom went. And guess what? I WANTED TO GO, BUT THE COMPUTER WAS STILL MESSED UP, SO I SPENT ALL THAT TIME TRYING TO FIX IT!!! (I never got it all fixed until...TUESDAY!!! *screams*) So I was stressed, bored, and a bit hungry...
Chi had a party at her house that day! It was her mom's birthday, and they were having a party... XP She bought her mom a water hourglass, but the little kids there kept fighting over it. XP I also chatted with her cousin "Anh". It was quiet at the end though because no one was really talking. Chi said there were lots of people, but a lot of food wasn't eaten. XP
Oh yeah! Trangie had her birthday party on Easter, but I couldn't go, since I don't live in P.A. anymore... But Trangie was worried since her boyfriend came to her house looking all messed up (hair and clothes, etc.) and he went to go hang out with Quang since the party didn't start yet. (Oh yeah! Out of...15 people, only her and her cousin Helen were girls! XP) Well, she also wanted to break the news to her parents that Rendy was her boyfriend, but she didn't know how to.
She did tell them, and they had a little chat. (He didn't come in though...)
My parents came home around...5-6 PM and they started to cook. They said they didn't get to eat a lot... XP (Haha, no, they didn't go to Chi's party. XP)
My brother wanted to get on the computer, and I let him. If I were to get all unstressed about fixing the computer, I had to get away from it. (So I went to go watch T.V., but he kept watching my sister play "Final Fantasy X"...)
Oh yeah... We had barbecue that day... Yum, pork ribs... XP It was good, and I just made the salad and stuff. (But now there are stains in the chairs!! GRR! You see, we have those chairs that have...fur or fabric on it, but it used to have a plastic wrap over it. Then, during Hurricane Rita, we let some people stay in our house, and their children TORE UP that plastic, and we haven't been able to fix that... -_-;;)
Monday
Oh yeah... We have TAKS this week, so we spent Monday preparing!!! For Science, we studied maps, and somehow, Ashley started talking about how she took this road because it doesn't have a lot of stop signs... (Where'd that come from...?)
Also, we had 60 questions to do on our Algebra TAKS book, and we had to transfer them to a sheet of paper, and turn it in... -_-;; (The problem was...the numbers were wrong. It went like this: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, etc. And it ended with 61, 62, 63, 64...) It missed four numbers, and it added four numbers at the end, which equal 60 slots, but it causes a problem on Wednesday... Read on to find out.)
Can't remember what else that happens!! GRR!!!
I came home that day being all stressed and trying to fix the MSN Messenger stuff. I even e-mailed those people who help you with fixing stuff online and EVEN THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO HELP ME!!! (THEY WORK THERE!!! GRR!!!)
Tuesday
When I woke up in the morning, I still tried to fix the computer. First thing I did: Delete all the registry keys associated with MSN Messenger and then uninstalled them. (It helps if you find out later...)
Well, that day, we had TAKS Math!!! GRR!!! Oh well. I ate lunch, and guess who I saw in the cafeteria? Troy, wearing a baseball cap, leather jacket, some silver cross chain, and etc. o_O;; (He doesn't normally dress like that... Is he trying to look gangsta or something...?) Oh yeah. He also told me he stocked his knapsack with food... ^^;;
You see, in this TAKS testing, we're not allowed to leave the room that day...EVER. Not even for lunch... Maybe restroom, but someone has to come with you. A teacher/adult, dur. XP
So to keep myself occupied, I check out "The Amber Spyglass", and I ran towards the check-out area, and one of the librarians told me to slow down and stop rushing... ^^;;
In there, it was quiet... No talking, really. The test was pretty easy. Except for this...EEP. *stares outside and sees a tall guy in a tree in a black suit and tie with black sunglasses and a gun*
You see, last year, at my old school, we weren't allowed to talk about the TAKS test, or ELSE. Something about the government saying that or something. (And I joked with my friends about that... XP Like, if we were talking about it, would someone from the government shoot us? XP)
They say that the TAKS test is one of the hardest state tests in the U.S. It's pretty easy though. They say somewhere along the way, Texas got noted as a "dumb state" or it got low in education, so they're toughening up education here. o_O;; (I was afraid, because if it was REALLY HARD and I didn't pass all 4 out of 4 tests, I COULD BE HELD BACK A YEAR!!!)
My Science teacher, Mr. Jacoby, told me the information above.
So for testing, I had Ms. Wallace again... After I finished the Math section, I took out "The Subtle Knife" and finished it! Then I took out "The Amber Spyglass" and got at least 1/4 of the book done.
So when it came to lunch, I chatted with Danny a bit... It was SO QUIET... Usually, it was loud at lunch... But we ate in our classrooms today, and no one talked.
P.S. Ms. Wallace keeps a microwave and refrigerator hidden in her classroom under a tablecloth. Hehe. XP (All the teachers came in just to heat up their lunches or something. XP)
Well, we had to go to 6th and 7th period that day...
Oh yes! I rushed to my locker and got my stuff, then rushed to Algebra. You see, I had to turn in that TAKS practice test, and for the first time, I saw my Algebra teacher wearing something casual. XP (You see, he's always wearing a suit or native Nigerian clothes, but never something casual. XP) He just took it from me like he was busy. XP Then I rushed off to English!
Our teacher, Ms. Spies made us do work!!! GRR... Angelie said that we were tired of doing work since we just got done with the TAKS test and stuff... But we have to turn in our Literary Fair papers in... Well, we KINDA worked on it, but I got lazy... I did turn in my A+ Strategy papers... And now I have to finish the second part...with 20 questions. (GRR, I'm lucky to make a 50 on that! It's already late... -_-;;)
Well, I got on the computer when I came home, and I reinstalled MSN Messenger, and IT WORKED!!! (My deleting-the-registry-keys idea worked!!!) Ah, I was so happy... But my own file kept messing up... o_O;;
I knew what I had to do. I had to delete my account on my computer. But first, I ran checks by making new account names such as Jigglypuff, Pikachu, and Raichu and stuff... XP But they messed up on me!!! (I finally moved ALL THE FILES ON MY ACCOUNT TO ONE SPOT ON THE COMPUTER.) I was really filled with eustress, but I don't know why. o_O;; (Eustress is happy stress, like the kind where you're waiting for a good thing to happen...) And when I deleted my account, it took a while... -_-;;
Oh yeah. My sister let me stay longer because she was really determined to finish "Final Fantasy X". XP
It was still taking long, so I watered the grass...
And when I came back, it was deleted, and I made a new account, and it was done!!!
On the file where I put all my stuff, it said it took up 1 million gigabytes or something like that...? o_O! Wow...
And then I transferred all that stuff to my file again...
Oh yes. I got really hyper and excited (I DON'T KNOW WHY!!!) that I started jumping around a lot and spinning... @_@??? (Yes, I lost my sanity!!!)
But it did reinstall all that stuff... And I'm happy I lost nothing. XP Except my Windows Media Player text is an ugly lime green now, and my Language Bar won't show the entire word on... @_@ (Ah, I stress over little silly things...) And so far, I found out that no one else does that... *screams* I HOPE I DON'T HAVE OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER!!!
Okay, my Caps Lock is becoming a bit defective on me... o_O;;
Today/Wednesday
Well, I woke up today and took a shower and got ready and stuff... And I did a spyware-adware scan on the computer, just to be safe... So it scanned while I was showering... But it only scanned my account!!! GRR...
I went downstairs and saw my sister eating pineapples... And she left before me, and I came after.
Well, we had another TAKS test today. TAKS Reading!
I went to breakfast, and that annoying guy who wanted to cut himself with a razor from the 1st period Art class pointed to the guy behind me and said "That guy wants to go out with you." ("That guy" meaning the guy behind me, and "you" meaning "me". o_O;;)
WEIRD.
Well, I headed to Ms. Wallace's class again.
More testing, and for some reason, this year's TAKS English test is about sad stuff... Like, the Great Depression (personal stories and general ideas), survival stories, etc.
And after that, I read more of "The Amber Spyglass"... "His Dark Materials" is a good series! You should check them out!
Well, lunch came, and I chatted with Danny and we had a conversation about religion. He kept saying that Catholic religion has all these rules, and all those rules makes it hard to go to heaven and stuff like that... But really, in a way, Catholism and Buddhism are kind of the same...
Thomas wanted my pickle. (I ordered the sack lunch, and the first time he called me, he laughed, and I didn't know what he wanted. Then he asked if I was gonna eat my pickle, but I let him have it.)
All right, so I started reading "The Amber Spyglass" again, but the girls on the right of me were chatting, and it was hard not to laugh at the stuff they were talking about. XP (It kinda reminded me of our old group, with Alaina, and Ann, and Alexis, and etc.) One of the girls was demonstrating from a comedy show how a guy smashed his head through a T.V. (The idea came from a HDTV commercial. XP) I also learned that one of the girls there is Vietnamese/Hispanic, and I didn't realize it at first... o_O;;
Oh yeah. Danny asked why I was "dressed-out" that day. I was? I had a white shirt (with the collar and buttons down the middle) and black jeans with black tennis shoes. o_o???
Well, it was quiet that day... And then they called us to go to 1st period.
1st period. Our Science teacher said to tear out practice book pages from the books in the classroom and "pretend to do them". You don't have to do them, but make it look like you're doing it. XP (There was another teacher watching over us while our teacher went away, and he told Kinjal he would give her a 100 if she pretended to do it, and all you need to do is write your name, date, and period. XP)
The candy rock crystals are growing, but Ruth said there was a bug in the yellow solution. o_O;; (It seemed like it at first, but later, I started to think it was mold or something.)
Well, Jasmin had a paper about what to do to your girlfriend, and Taylor wanted to copy it down so she could give it to her boyfriend, and she let me do it, since I had neat handwriting. I never finished it though... ^^;;
Oh yeah. Jasmin dropped it in class and I gave it back to her...
Social Studies was okay, I think. We WERE gonna watch "Madagascar", but Amit had to be crazy and lie down on the floor, pretend he was peeing it in it to mark his territory, and "doing it" to himself... (The teacher turned off the movie and we had to do vocabulary...)
It wasn't that bad, really. Oh yeah. We talked about stuff. Like what we did in the classrooms during TAKS testing. Oh yeah! Kinjal said that she was a cool teacher, but she was mean to Amit because he got on her nerves. It reminded me of the time when Amit said "Why can't you be like Mr. Jacoby?" (That's my Science teacher.) She said "I'm not a man..." And Amit responded "Can you be a man for me?" (What a weird question... XP)
So when we went to Algebra, the teacher was really stressed... (I could tell. He was yelling at us for simple questions we asked him. -_-;;) He gave us back our papers (the practice TAKS test) and made us erase it all, cross out the numbers and rewrite them all... @_@ I did get to do it all though... I talked to Paige, Melinda, Sara, and a few other people.
I read Melinda's manga. She had "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (yes, there's a manga!) and "Tenshi Muyo". The teacher turned on the T.V. and we watched "Fear Factor"... XP (There was a point when the guy had to dig for worms, blend them in a blender, and drink it... XP That just made Sara sick and gag... -_-;;)
Dexter also brought a Bible, and other people were reading it and stuff like that...
Then Aaron made the weirdest comment. He noticed that on my shirt, the first button wasn't buttoned in. He said when people do that, it means they're trying to look sexy. o_o;; (Weird comment from a boy...) I told him I didn't realize that it was unbuttoned and just buttoned it back up. (Later, it choked my neck, so I unbuttoned it. ^^;;)
But Melinda said I looked like a person that just came out of a manga. XP
Oh yeah... Jereme wants a picture of me... You see, she's been asking since...last Wednesday, but I haven't had the time to find a picture. Also, I hardly take pictures of myself, so I really don't have any... -_-;;
So when I got home, my dad was installing some black screens to our windows, and I went to my sister and enjoyed some cheesecake my mom's friend had given her... XP
And so far, that's about all I've done.
See ya!
