Hey guys! TAKS week is finally over! Ah, it was nice for a while. I mean, a state test for a whole day and nothing else to do. Sure it got boring (not really!), but there was nothing else to do, right? XP

Thursday/Science TAKS Test

Hey guys! What did I do in that day? Well, I took the Science test, which was pretty easy, except I realized a few things in the book that we haven't gone over yet!!! GASP! (Luckily, I remembered most of those stuff from last year. XP)

Well, we didn't have lunch in the room that day... So we had to go to 4th - 7th period!

But before that, on a library due date card, I wrote my name and date... It's gonna be a new tradition I'm gonna start. And then, years years later, if I ever come back, I'll open that book back up and see my name and date on there... (It brings back memories... Like reminiscing...)

In the Health room, all the chairs were lined up in rows, and I thought we were gonna stay, but we went into the gym. Oh yeah! Troy brought his Organization XIII jacket (from "Kingdom Hearts") and he wanted to wear it in the gym! But the coaches wouldn't let him. ^^;; (It was the fabric kind, since he said the leather kind cost $400, and he also bought Keyblades from the Disney Store in the nearby mall. XP)

In the gym, I played basketball with a bunch of guys and then Tyrone came and stole the ball from me and I J-ed him and made the shot. (Everyone was so impressed, but I only think it was a lucky shot. ^^;;) Erik makes such a big deal of all the shots I make... ^^;; But I guess it's okay...?

The weirdest thing. Right as I was heading to the locker room, this guy goes up to me and asks "Do you want to have $ex?" My expression: o_O;;

Well, in lunch, Andrew doesn't want to talk to me... (ARGH... I swear... I mean, I was just joking around and I said "I don't want to be your friend anymore" and he took it so literally... But really. I don't know if I want to hang out with him anymore... I mean, it's not his retarded-like ways, but it's just the way he treats me... GRR.) Oh well. I ate lunch by John (the Filipino one) today, since lunch was about to end.

In Art, Melissa was going on about how she hated her Science teacher, Ms. Shaws and a bunch of her other teachers... She also kept saying that day was boring... ^^;; (I was too busy taking vocabulary that was due a long time ago from the board... ^^;;)

In ELA, I sat in the teacher's computer seat and tried to finish up the short story I'm gonna write for the Literary Fair. She's gonna take the stories and publish them into a book. But it's not really typing it up, I was trying to edit it. But it was so hard... In transistion, Nohemi read it and she said the first paragraph sounded really pretty. But that was just it. The other ones sounded so boring and surreal (fake)... -_-;; (Even IF it was a fictional story...)

Oh yeah. She wanted to tell us about dialogue... She read us a story from that same guy who wrote "Hatchet" (can't remember author's name) and she read in a book about how a city cousin made his country cousin pee on an electrical fence and "dirty pictures" and stuff like that... The whole class was filled with people saying "Eww..." (Was that book school appropriate...?!)

After I got home, I started to see if I needed to fix anymore stuff on the computer. (GAH! I need to stay away from the computer more!!!)

But you see, the microphone broke... Well, my sister broke it. It's probably because of something in the wire. Well, anyways, around 7 PM, I asked my dad if he could drive me to Best Buy so I could buy a new microphone. He said I had to water the grass, and that took a while. And buying the microphone wasn't that hard. (It was my sister's microphone, and she broke it, and she got angry that I told her she had to pay for the new one since she was also the one who broke it.) She didn't give me enough money (it was $15 plus tax, and she only gave me $15) so I used some of my own.

Well, I told my parents about that broken microphone, and my dad cut open the wires of the microphone and tried to FIX IT!!! (He said to try it, but my mom made him put some duct tape over the cut part, so I don't electrocute myself out. o_O;;) But nonetheless, it didn't work, so I threw it away.

Oh yeah! That little girl from winter break! Gwendolyn! She came over yesterday and started to fight with Ricky... XP Her mom came to me and asked for a English translation for a Vietnamese word, but I couldn't understand what she was speaking about. (You see, her family comes over every now and then to go to the Riverwalk thing at San Antonio... They live in California, and they come down here as their vacation.)

Hehe, I helped Gwendolyn sneak into Ricky's room and beat her up... Then she told me "If he hides somewhere, tell me another way to get in there, okay?" (She was so cute!!! XP)

When they left, I asked my mom where was her mom, and she said the old lady there was her mom. (REALLY?! I could've sworn her mom was younger... o_O;; Like, that time when she visited during Christmas time, she wore a fluffy white beret and white clothes basically. Since her clothes looked like young people wore it, and I only saw a bit of her, I assumed she was young. ^^;;)

Oh yeah. Diana also cooked chicken. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. Diana and Ricky tried to cook a chicken, and Diana kept complaining about how Ricky's was horrible. Diana's was a bit...sweet. (She flavored her chicken with pineapples and honey. XP) Still, it was good. (But she needed to marinate it more longer!!!)

Friday/Social Studies TAKS Test/Today

Well, today, I took the Social Studies test!

On the bus, J.J. said "Cool outfit Travis." (I was wearing a black shirt, unbuttoned, and under it was a red shirt, and I had black jeans and black tennis shoes.) I said "Thanks." (Then I heard him whisper "That's a bad-ass outfit.") *laughs*

When I was walking toward the testing site, I saw a group of guys whisper about me saying "Who is that guy?" (It's weird. Lots of people here admire Asian people... Or do they... o_O??? Or is it just me?) So one of the guys poked me and asked "Do you want to be my friend?" (He had those thick glasses and it looked kinda...nerdish.) Goldie turned around and said "Oh bother..."

So it was quiet in the TAKS room that whole day... After that, I started to read "The Amber Spyglass", and I finished it today! Oh my gosh... It was so sad... I actually had tears running down my eyes... (I was trying to cover them up. And I didn't make a sound, really. But I looked up, and across the room, Mariette was looking at me...)

It's a really sad book. My opinion: If a book makes me feel emotion, such as making me cry, panicky, etc., it's a good book according to me. ^^

But really... I went from TAKS testing to all the way to 4th period just crying about that book... It wasn't loud crying, but it was subtle... Not loud, but you could see some tears running down... (I had to run to the bathroom to wipe my tears and blow my nose, but while I was doing that, I was covering my nose, and Rez thought my nose was bleeding... o_O;;???)

Troy asked me what was wrong in the gym, and I don't know... I kinda started to cry when I tried to tell him... (That book made me cry, but it also brought back a lot of sad memories, so it made me cry even more...) LaDre thought that someone I knew died, and I said it was KINDA like that, and after a bunch of guesses and he couldn't find out who, he just went ahead and called me g@y... (Yeah, nice way of cheering someone up.)

But it kinda went away around lunch... Lunch, I kept switching back and forth between lines, so eh... @_@

We had to go to 1st period after lunch since TAKS messed up our regular schedules and stuff. I went to Science, and we were talking about the teacher's past, and he said that he looked like a dork when he was in his senior year... ^^;; (He said when he was in his sophmore year of high school, he fell off his bike and his two front teeth fell out.) He made a fake cry there, and Kinjal laughed. ^^;; (He said he had to get braces to fix it, and then put in the two front teeth a WEEK LATER school ended.)

So imagine you graduating high school, and you're missing your two front teeth. o_O;;

He also talked about wisdom teeth, and how you should get them removed when you're younger (when he said "younger", he meant "in your twenties" and Ashley went, "That's not young!") Well, if you get older, then they have to cut the teeth out of the BONE. UGH. Gross...

Well, how did the talk of teeth start? Well, the teacher gave us all peppermints!!! Hooray! XP (He got sad because there wasn't one left for him.) So Jasmin pulled out a bag of Poppin' Rocks and he wanted some, since he said he hadn't had any since he was 3. So they both ate the candy, and we could all hear fizzing in their mouths. XP He wanted to read the ingredients (he said "Don't worry, I won't eat them all" and pretended to dump them all in his mouth. XP)

He said it was made with carbon dioxide, and Merlin went "Doesn't that kill you?" He said that soda has carbon dioxide and it doesn't kill you. (He also said that if you pour soda on battery acid, it will DISSOLVE IT. o_O!!! And that's how some people clean leaking battery acid from their cars... o_O;;) Well, he said Powerade and Gatorade is even WORSE for you, because it damages your teeth. It dissolves the enamel (white outer part of teeth) OFF OF YOUR TEETH.

So really, Gatorade/Powerade isn't that better for you than soda...

And that's how we started talking about teeth. XP

In Social Studies, we watched "Madagascar", and AGAIN, Amit asked if he could pee over the teacher's desk so he could claim it as his territory. -_-;; She took a water bottle and sprayed him and he got angry, but sat down. XP

Later, when he tried to do bad things, she kept spraying him with water. XP (At first, I thought it was one of those cleaning solutions!!! XP)

He was like "Do I look like your toy?!" And she went "Dance, my puppet." (He almost did. XP)

Well, we still had to do worksheets during class. -_-;; Anna was crying in class today, but I didn't know why. Something about her not being serious...? Her boyfriend? Or the Algebra teacher...?

Well, tomorrow is Desire's (pronounced deh-zeh-ray) birthday and for her birthday, I gave her $5. And she replied, "Thank you!!! You're so sweet!" and she gave me a hug. XP

Also, Nicole asks when the Shiokaze-con was, and I promised to give her a Naruto headband. (It's next week, but I might not go... Wah.)

In Algebra, after getting our homework pages, the students talked to the teacher about his past jobs and stuff...

You see, he was a fashion designer, and he went everywhere, and he designed clothes for a ton of famous people and stuff, but he gave it up to be with his family... Isn't that sweet?

But he never expected himself to give that up and become a teacher. You see, in college, his "specialty" was economic. (Melinda thought of "home economics" as in cooking. XP)

Melinda went "We should have more chats like this." Kristen, Sara, and Paige all said that she only wanted to talk like that so she could get out of doing work in class... ^^;;

Well, after that, I headed home, and now I'm here. My parents hung a horse picture by the ceiling of the living room, and we're not going to the Riverwalk with Gwendolyn today... Aww...

Well, see ya later. Bye!

End: 7:42 PM CST
