Does My Computer Hate Me?
Start: 8:10 PM CST
Hey guys! Lately, my computer's been messing up... Like today, the Flash stuff wouldn't work, and I had to do a System Restore... -_-;; Does the computer hate me??? Why was I trying to fix the Flash? Well, my sister wasn't able to play "Gaia Towns" on Gaia Online, so I tried to fix it, and then I messed it up, and it took a while to fix. -_-;; (I'M GONNA DESTROY MY COMPUTER ONE DAY AND LAUGH!!!)
Wait... No I won't. ^^;;
Anyways...
Well, I got on the computer a little bit... Actually, no. My sister got on because she wanted to play "Gaia Online", but it didn't work for her for some reason... So we tried uninstalling, but we turned off the computer since the bus was about to come... (And that's how the whole computer problem I explained earlier happened... -_-;;)
Well, when I went to go sit in the gym in the morning, there was a fight going on!!! Yeah... o_O;; Two black guys were making a fight in the bleachers, and then Mr. Ebunilo (my Algebra teacher) came up there and...I think he yelled at them or something...or hurt them physically, I dunno. (I didn't even bother to stand up. Why are these people so...fight-wanting?) Well, there was a lot of clapping when my Algebra teacher did something (still dunno what though) and yeah...
In Science, we worked on the ocean floor graphing and stuff, and Kinjal got interested about that virus talking thing stuff yesterday, and she wanted Mr. Jacoby to explain it more... XP Oh yes! He's also telling us they're gonna computerize the school next year!
They're gonna add electronic boards (where you can write and delete and it hooks up to the computer) and a little thingy where you can press a button to answer a question.
Like, let's say you're taking a quiz. Instead of taking out paper and writing it, you just press the buttons on a little remote control, click "Send", it automatically grades it, and then it's saved into the grade book...
Ooh, school's getting technological, eh? XP
In Social Studies, we watched more of that "Underground Railroad" video. Ooh, Nicole was here with us today. I also talked with Ruth at the beginning of class a bit before and about cell phones and how our cell phones were taken away from us. XP (Her free time started at 7 PM, and mines at 9 PM, and she was so surprised of mines... ^^;;)
In Algebra, my teacher passed out some papers for some of us, and we're invited to an Awards Ceremony. Each teacher is awarding 5 awards to the students they chose in the class according to "Citizenship", "Most Improved Boy", "Most Improved Girl", "Best Boy", "Best Girl"... (The "best" ones aren't the actual names, but that's what it means...) Hehe, Georhan thought he was gonna be one of the "Most Improved" ones because he went from an F to the beginning of the school year to A-B grades. XP
But Madiha added, "What if a kid acts good for the year, and then when they get the award, they start acting bad after that?" The teacher explained it's only for before the award, and if they do act bad, it's gonna count in their future. He added, "Like a student is going to act good for the whole year, and then after they get the award, they go out and kill someone." (The whole class just breaks out laughing. XP) He also said "A student can't act good for the whole year just to get an award. Their true nature will eventually show."
We also learned that ELA in the past was called "English" (no dur XP) and they had to learn proverbs... "A stitch in time saves nine", etc...
There was an interesting one. I don't remember the proverb exactly, but he used an example of a person going to war. (It was about being prepared earlier helps.) I learned that a war used to be clean and neat. Like, in Medieval Times, a king would call another country if he was angry with them and declare a war. They would tell where they would go and what time. (Usually it was in an empty field.) Then they attacked each other. But as the years went by, wars got more sneakier... o_O;;
Well, after Algebra, I said "hi" to Chloe and San Nhi...
I headed to Health and I read the board and it said we had to watch a program-thing at the gym and then we would go back to practicing our dance routine.
But when we went into the gym, it was only for people that were going to Bush... XP
Hehe, the others went into the field... I heard some guys that were going to Travis say "You know what Bush has done to our country? And now you gonna go to a school named after him?" *laughs*
Oh, it was windy outside. I left my books on the bleachers outside, but the wind blew a bunch of my papers out, and I ran to pick them up, but some flew over a gate. A guy asked "Hey, do you need those papers?" and he helped open the gate so I could get my papers. ^^
Hehe, just random games in the field. Urr, Calvin was drawing something by scraping an iron pole on the cement, and someone said it looked like the Nazi sign. (To me, it looked like an A with a circle around it... o_O;;) Uh, Danny (the spiky-haired one) said "hi" to me in a happy voice and waved his hand and grinned largely. (^^;; Hehe, since when does that he do that to me? XP) He also told me "no no" and wagged his hand when I tried to pick up the iron poles to put them back in place. XP
Um, Tien, Danny, Ed, and Mohammad were playing random games, and Troy and his group were practicing karate moves, and it's just amusing to watch them play. ^^;;
Hehe, Troy said I had "honor" because I didn't fight back when he tried to attack me... ^^;; LaDre doesn't think I know karate, but he's wrong about that... ^^;;
Well, for lunch, I ate really late since I was at the back of the line again.
Oh yeah! When I was in the lunch line, I found out that Nicole was hired by Andrew...to do something. XP (But that's old news. XP)
And I ran towards Art room, and the tardy bell rang RIGHT when I got into the room and Devon and Bao were saying to the teacher loudly "He's late!!!" (o_O;;) The teacher said "The cast-iron skillet calls the burnt pot black" (something like that!) and the teacher said "Do you know what a skillet is?" Devon replied "A skillet is gray, not black." And the teacher replied "A cast-iron skillet is black." (Basically it meant that someone who's always tardy will blame another person if they're tardy...)
Well, I'm finished doing my watercolor styles and it's pretty nice...I think. XP (I think I finally know how to use watercolor markers like Crayola and make them...gradient. XP)
Well, at the end, the teacher was telling us a story about when she had her honeymoon, she bought a watercolor picture from a man in San Francisco who made copies of the same watercolor picture and did it all by hand!!! (Ooh... o_O!)
And she showed us another picture by a lower-famed painter named (teacher's maiden name) who painted it in college and when she got married, changed her name to (teacher's name after marriage). XP (Everyone then just realized it was painted by the teacher herself. XP) She had to pick a place in Houston (she chose downtown Houston) and she had to paint what she saw and her teacher had to tell where it was, or they wouldn't get a good grade. XP
Well, I walked a little bit with Paulisha, Karen, and Darneshia. I also said "hi" to Nicole as I passed by her (which I do everyday XP).
Well, in the ELA classroom, I saw that Nohemi was crying, and I went over and asked Karen what was wrong. (She didn't know.) But the bell rang, and we all scrambled to our seats.)
We have a substitute! XP Well, we read a play of Anne Frank, and it was fun. I didn't get to do the play part until the second part, and I played Mr. Van Daan... (Hehe, Bao did a good job as Mr. Frank on the first part, and Jonathan and Merlin did good jobs as Mr. Frank and Peter in the second part. XP)
But some people just laughed when they heard "perverted" parts in the play. Like, they had to wear a ton of clothes over and over their bodies (so they could be wearing 16 shirts over themselves) and in one part, it said "But first, let's take off our clothes" and everyone just got perverted in it. ^^;; Or when they said Anne took off her panties. (Gah, they're all so perverted!!! @_@!!!)
So my character, Mr. Van Daan, is a man who gets angry very easily, and likes to smoke. o_O;; (Wow, that's not like me AT ALL.) But still, I managed to make the character seem...real. XP
Some people were just bored in class that whole day... ^^;; Laura and Angelie were happy that they didn't have to read and said "We're special like that." (^^;;)
Well, I walked with Zaki to the bus, and he doubts I can finish my manga by next year. (It's only gonna be 20 pages!!! @_@!!!) Nida also came up into the chat... She was working on a manga, but got tired of it, and he hates his sister... ^^;;
Well, in the bus, I said "hi" to Jereme, Lin, and Chloe outside! (Well, I was inside the bus, they were outside, and we said "hello" from the bus window... XP)
Hmm, Lily still isn't talking to me, but I guess she acknowledges me... (That's a start. But I wanna find out why she's been ignoring me... ^^;;)
Oh yeah... On the bus, some girl was speaking really loudly and she said "He's sexy, he's sexy"... (Like a little game.) And I saw her point in my direction, and a bunch of black guys turned towards me, looked back at her, and had that expression that just seemed to say "HIM?!" Hehe. ^^;;
After I got home, I made some macaroni and cheese (too much onion makes it sweet) and my dad and mom are upset about a letter they got... ^^;; My sister didn't understand it, but she's kinda clueless about that stuff...
Oh yeah!!! I'm thinking of going to Shiokaze-con! Any of you anime fans going? Well, I'm THINKING of going, but I'm really not sure...
Well, I'll talk to you later. Bye! ^^
End: 8:52 PM CST
P.S. Well yesterday, Trangie found out Rendy (the guy she was going out with) was only using her so he could "do it" with her... (HOW PERVERTED. And aren't they young???) So yeah... Tonight, when he calls her, she's gonna dump him. (She felt like that he was hiding something from her, and that their love wasn't..."honest".) What a mean guy...and a weirdo. -_-;;
