Start: 10:00 PM CST
Today in the morning, I talked with Aaron's group (oh! I'm bringing my old Yu-Gi-Oh! cards tomorrow!), and then I went over to my Deaf friends. Again, I had to learn his name. His name is Vu Chu... (Or Vuchu... But it's Vietnamese, so I'm gonna accept it as a two-lettered one.) I met the guy that plays football and rides the late bus! His name is Waheed... Oh! And Miriam cut her hair short yesterday... Well, her mom did anyways.
In P.E., Akhil and I played tennis! Huan came to play, even though he was partially crippled. (He twisted his ankle last week, remember?) We played a ton of games, but I HATE running to go get the ball after Akhil hit it off into a place I didn't know. Here's what I know:
My left hand is strong, but not precise.
My right hand is precise, but weak.
In Digital Graphics, we worked more on our animal-shaped clouds! Richelle's giraffe looks good, but you can't even tell what mines was... Bleh.
Geraldine was signing to Ms. Thompson about how a Deaf girl in school was saying that Jesse McCartney went to our school and that he was following her around... (I don't really think so... Maybe it was a guy that looked like her.) Ms. Thompson signed that maybe it was a "story she created"... Or maybe she's having one of those fangirl fantasies. *laughs*
Oh, Ms. Thompson left a few minutes before class ended, so me and Geraldine just signed to each other. I found out Geraldine has nine fish for pets! I signed that I had a dog named James, but I think she misread it as "I have an armpit named James." (Because I was doing the sign for "dog", but I was kinda pointing to my armpit. The sign for dog kinda looks like that. So maybe... *sweats* I just nodded and pretended I understood...which wasn't so smart. *sweats*)
In Lunch, I stood in line with Miriam and Vu Chu. There was a bug climbing on the floor/wall, and he killed it and pretended to eat it. (Eww...) Tien saw Vu Chu doing sign language, and she said she wished she knew how to do it. So I kinda introduced her to Miriam. (Actually, I just told her that she wanted to learn sign language. Except I forgot to sign the word "want"... *sweats*)
In Geography, guess what?! Ashley said hi to me and said that her mom showed her a picture of me and "a girl" from the Homecoming Dance, and that her mom said they were such a cute couple. (Then I realized that woman who took the picture for the yearbook--that was Ashley's mom!) She started asking questions like, "Is she your girlfriend?" And at the end, she said, "You're cute. Let's make cute Asian babies together." (I just bursted out laughing.)
Then three girls around me. A black one, an Indian, and a Filipino girl (her name's Jessa!) started saying, "Ooh, you got a girlfriend..." and asking who she was, if I liked her. But for some reason, when I mentioned it was Kathy, they kinda stopped asking. We did work and stuff...
And we translated the teacher's directions. You see, we had a sub, and we translated this sentence: "Hello, I'm not here today, complete all the assignments I told you to do." or something like that.
We translated it into Vietnamese (me!), Spanish (Kevin!), Urdu (that girl in my class...what's her name again???), Mandarin Chinese (Michelle helped me...), French (John did it, but gave up somewhere in the middle), and Tagolog (it's a Filipino language--Jessa did it, but erased it later)! It was so fun seeing all the different languages... *smiles*
Then, I headed into Robotics, where... Me, Janice, and some other people just went through folders of their old works. Movie stills--that was fun! Oh...and this cool butterfly picture. I wish I could turn it into a theme, but it's copyrighted, probably. (It's a student's work! I can't take it...) People kept noting my Coca-Cola with Splenda and how nasty it was. (It tasted ALMOST the same...)
Earlier, Mohammad saw me doing sign language with my group of Deaf friends, and he said he's inspired to learn sign language! (*laughs* I inspired him??? That sounds so weird... *laughs*)
Um...we had a stupid fight (me, Chi, Aaron, Akhil, and Janice) in front of our two buses... And yeah. Violent/weird. *laughs*
On the bus, I talked to Waheel. Not exactly. First, he was doing Algebra homework. (For some reason, most of the signs I sign to him--he doesn't understand.) He had a sign language dictionary, but there were some words that weren't in there! For example, class subjects. Math, science, yeah...
I asked him some random stuff, like about his football game and stuff. (From what I can understand, he wants to play in one of his football games--one of his games was today. Does the coach not put him out into the field???) He slept the rest of the trip... I was so dizzy... It's dizzying reading a book while the bus is moving! And signing sign language! I tried to wake him up to talk a little bit more, but he signed he was sleepy...
Ah, when he got to his stop, he got off. The rest was listening to Always Smiling by Tritsch-Tratsch Polka with Aaron. OH! Earlier, we tried singing White and Nerdy by Weird Al... *laughs* I can't do it! So fast...
Oh! When Ahkil was on the bus, we tried to do a look. Here, I'll explain. Turn your head from the left to the right slowly... Move your eyebrows up two times, and smirk. (I did it to Aaron and Ahkil to scare them a lot.) What do you think that means? *laughs*
Uhh...it was REAL late when I got home... Um...it also started THUNDERING pretty bad when I got home... And it poured...and rained...and the lightning struck...
And now I gotta shower...and do homework...and...something else.
Bye!
