My Avatar

In the darkness of time,
When life is gone sleeping,
A minute wastes away,
But no one here is weeping.

It ticks beyond the hours,
Between morning and night,
Sixty seconds of eternity,
That never sees the light.

A tiny fraction of an era,
Reaches into another world,
But never shall we ever see,
This pathway be unfurled.

The time between has ended,
And the morning has arisen,
Dawn hours bring the light,
Trapping us in our prison.

Returning from the Land of Nothingness
I totally forgot I had an account here. Then I was searching around and came across the site again and was amazed to discover that, wow. Yeah...
I'm still alive, for those of you who actually care.

   Alived-ness
A hurricane just crawled over my house at the speed of a dying turtle, knocking out my power for thirty-eight hours in which I had to endure my younger sibling running circles around the kitchen table while screaming about there being toads doing naughty things in our pool.

It was not fun, but I am alive and happy to have a four day weeken.
