The Joke's On You- poem
The Joke's on You

Blood red streams
Last breath screams
Echoing shrieks
Of a dying pearl

I used to love you
I used to want you
Be all day with you
Until that cold last day

Raining and thunder
Cool-blooded hunger
The fangs of a wolf
Asleep within me.

It wasn't my fault!
Don't you dare blame me!
Have you ever wondered
The words you said to me?

The tears I contained
The screams I silenced.
Just for the sake
Of being with you…

Why did I love you?!
Why did I want you?!
Why did I ever
Want to be all day with you?!

You're just another one
A cold-blooded killer
Well, this time too bad.
The joke's on you.

You never really thought
Of this innocent little lamb
As a cold vicious wolf
Preparing for the kill

For so long I waited
Through insults and jokes
Too bad you're not here…
This joke would have been a killer.

Are you still upset?
Are you still mad?
'Cause I'm making fun of you
After you're dead?

Why won't you laugh?
Don't you love to do so?
Or did you just like to laugh
Just because you knew
This innocent little lamb
Would never turn on you?

Just look at yourself.
How the tides shifted.
Well, this time too bad.
The joke's on you.
