one way flight

the plane takes off
its a one way flight
to a reality i know nothing about

i keep saying things i dont wanna say
the words are so wrong...
but i still keep pretending to be someone you want
when shes not me..

why is it that im always living for the what ifs
how will i ever understand
that its right infront of me

i kept everything inside
my feelings explode as i hit the floor
but im still pretending

a face thats not mine
is smiling and saying im ok
when im crying on the inside
cause im still pretending

but you dont care about what you can reach
cause as the plane is crashing into the ocean
you just watch me fall
you dont care at all

your dreams i always use to follow
standing next to you i felt so hollow
why is it that your memory always erases me

i was pretending to be someone you wanted
but i ended up a broken piece of glass
a memory that could never last
lost in the gray waves of hate
is this what you call fate?

was there something inside of you
that wouldnt let you understand
that i was standing right infront of you
broken deep inside always pretending

cause i'd rather drowned in this ocean than walk away
dont you hear a thing i say
i took a one way flight
to a reality which was the end of my life
