this is chapter 8 of the story i've been writing its called the sidewalk

Chapter 8: Two Graves I turned around and she said,"Emmy is that you?" "Mom,"i said looking confused i backed away slowly but J. stopped me. "Emmy, your alive?" my mother said. "yeah why wouldnt i be your the one who left me" i said. "Emmy, someone stole my car i didnt leave you..." she said and she looked like she was going to cry. "then why didn't you look for me," i said getting upset and thinking this is so pointless. "I thought you were dead Emmy,"she said. "whatever," a said and wished she'd just dissappear. "Emmy please come home with me," she begged. "NO!," I have a new home and besides your always taking drugs anyway so why should you care!," i yelled. "Emmy i stopped i promise,"she said calmly ignoring the fact i was mad. "No STOP YOU ALWAYS LIE I HATE YOU!!!," i screamed. "Emmy please ill do anything...," she still begged. J. spoke for the first time in awile he said,"You could move into the house next door." My mom said ok and promised she'd meet him here in the morning so he could show her how to get there. She walked away but before she was gone she said, "Emmy always remember i love you." I was crying on the way back to J.s' house and my home to i guess. I went to bed right when we got there cause i didnt feel like talking about what happened. The next morning J. left to get my mom. I paced on the porch cause i didnt know what else to do. It was late when he got back and my mom wasnt with him. Figures i thought she always lies. Only i noticed when he got closer he looked sad and worried. "Emmy im sorry," he said. "what happened?" i asked. "Emmy im so sorry," he said again and hugged me. "Why J. whats wrong?," i said confused. "Emmy shes dead," he said and kept hugging me. I remember crying and the blackness but i don't know what happened... i dont wanna know... its a dream... I woke up not knowing where i was. "Emmy are you ok?" Sam asked me. I didnt say anything. J. took my wrist and pulled my outside down to the woods. He pulled me through the woods and ignored that i was was tripping and falling. He stopped infront of two graves. "Emmy this is my mom and sister they were killed by drunk drivers to,"he said. I didnt say anything. He pulled me off the ground and hugged me even thought i cried cause he hurt me. He said, "Emmy i love you please dont stop talking again your not alone. I hugged him back and cried. My mind was saying she can't be dead. Is she with my father. My father? Who was he...? "Emmy?" he said and shook me,"Emmy, stop crying you'll pass out. I stopped crying and looked into his eyes,"promise you'll never leave me?" i said. "I promise," he said and we hugged infront of the two graves. He whispered, "smile for me again Emmy."
