Hiiiii!!! ^_^ I've been very inactive lately... T.T I haven't even posted much art lately. DX Except for my entry to Fun-chan's contest. Which I got third place in!!! 8D I'm so happy!!!!!!!!! X3 I really didn't expect to place... XD So that made my day. ^_^

Oh, I extended the deadline for my contest to October 1st, since only one person has submitted their entry. ^_^
Not much interesting stuff has happened lately. -_- I've been going to volleyball tryouts, and I think I have a pretty good chance of making the team. Not varsity (definitely not varsity XD), but probably JV.
School starts in, like... a week and a half. *hyperventilates* Nooooooo!!!! T.T I don't wanna go back to school... that means waking up early and being at school by 7:20 every day, since I joined chorus homeroom. T.T And I still have so much homework to do... T.T

Oh, we went to this bbq festival thing in the downtown area of my town, and it was so much fun!! They had this bbq competition and then different vendors were selling bbq, and I got a pork bbq sandwich. It was sooooo yummy... X3 And I also bought some pretty jewelry. Three pearl necklaces that were 3 for $10 and this pretty $3 bracelet. One necklace I gave to my Mommom cuz she's not been feeling well lately. T.T Another one I gave to my mom, and I kept the last one for me. X3 And the bracelet I bought from this lady that lives in Mommom's old neighborhood who has this adorable jewelry/purse/other cute things business. So that was fun. ^_^
Today I got a gelato... So yummy... 8D X3 It was espresso flavor. I love coffee flavored stuff. XD So yeah, that was good. ^_^ I also got a pretty new dress for homecoming this year (even though that's a ways away. XD). It was half off the original price, so it was a great deal. ^_^ It's black and white and lacy. So pretty!!! X3
Oh, tomorrow's Mommom's birthday!!! I think she's turning... 66? Maybe. I dunno. XD My mom is making this yummy-sounding seafood casserole thingy, and Mississippi mud cake for dessert. :9 Yum yum yum yum yum.... X3

I took my AP test on Friday... *shudders* AP human geography. Hard. Very, very hard. :g_crying: And I don't get my result till JULY!!!!!!!!!! :g_crying: Why must they torture us so?????? They have to send our tests away to TEXAS to be graded by PROFESSIONAL GRADERS. Gaaaaah!!!!!!! :g_crying: I want it NOW!!!!! :g_angry: ... On the bright side, I now have all my grades in for human geo and there are NO MORE TESTS!!!!!!!! :g_smile:
This Saturday I get to go canoeing w/ my human geo class... that should be lotsa fun. ^_^ We're canoeing on moving water... Oooooo... :g_shocked: I'll probably fall in. XD And then we're going to my teacher's house for a bbq... apparently his wife makes very good strawberry shortcake. *shrugs* XD

I recently watched the movies Willow, City of Angels, and My Best Friend's Wedding. Good movies all around. ^_^ Willow is a fantasy about a dwarf (they had a special name for their race, but I forget. >_<) who finds a "Daikini" baby. (Daikini is the name for tall people. I probably spelled it wrong. XD) There is an evil queen, and this baby is in a prophecy that says she will grow up to overthrow the evil queen, so the queen wants to perform a ritual to banish her soul to the netherworld. Or something. -_-" So anyway, Willow has to protect her and get her to safety somewhere... or something... So yeah, great movie. ^_^ Very cute!!
City of Angels is a wonderful movie!!! It's about an angel named Seth. In the movie, angels are invisible to people (unless they want them to see them), but people can sometimes sense their presence. They wear all black, speak every language, hang out in libaries, travel at the speed of thought, and read people's minds. They also have no sense of touch, smell, or taste. So anyway, Seth falls in love with Maggie, heart surgeon. Very, very, very, very sweet movie. X3 I love it. Ever heard the song Iris by the Googoo Dolls? It's in the movie. "And I'd give up forever to touch you, cuz I know that you feel me somehow..." :g_smile:
And last but not least, My Best Friend's Wedding. It's about this girl named Julia, and her best friend is a guy named Michael. (I think that's his name...) Anyway, they once made a promise that if they weren't married by the time they were both 28, they'd marry. Michael is 28, and Julia will be 28 in 3 weeks. So Michael calls her and leaves a message (on her EXTREMELY ENERMOUS cell phone from way back in the '80s or something, when this movie was made -_-) saying that he really needs to talk with her. But, he tells her that he is getting married. And Julia realizes that she is in love with him. She flies down to wherever he is to attend his wedding, and other stuff ensues. One of Julia's friends is George. He's hilarious. XD And awesome.
So, yeah, wonderful movies. :g_smile: You should see them!!!
Has anyone here ever played Dragon Fable??? It's a fun game. :g_smile: Found on www.dragonfable.com. You create a character, either a mage, rogue, or warrior. And you interact w/ all the characters. No download required, you just need a certain type of Flash or higher. ^_^

I went to work with my aunt, cuz she's a pediatric practitionar(sp?), and I wanna be a pediatrician. I felt so bad for the poor little babies getting shot. ;_; We went to the zoo later that day, and that was soooooo much fun. And one day we went to downtown Memphis. We were supposed to go on a tour through the guitar factory, but it was sold out. T.T But we just walked around the city... and it was fun. ^_^

I dunno. XD Must not have been very important, cuz I would remember it. But here's some more recent stuff...
Oh, I finished the His Dark Materials trilogy!!! Yesss!!! XD Very sad, though... :g_crying: It took me, like, a month. XD Now I've started Twilight. I'm only about 20 page in. XD
Oh oh oh!!! How many of you have heard of Les Miserables? Weelllllll, I found an anime based on it!! How cool is [I]that[/I]???? X3 It's called Shoujo Cosette. Cosette is the cutest thing eveeeerrrrr!!!!!!!! X3 So is Gavroche. I've only seen the first three episodes, though. I can't find the fourth ANYWHERE. T.T Does anyone know where I can find anime eps besides YouTube? I don't know many. DX
I need to read Les Miz. Soon as I finish the Twilight series. XD
Umm... I got three new assignments for AP human geo. >_< Bleh. The first one isn't due until next Friday, though... So that's a plus!!! XD It's about a crop, and I'm doing the COCOA BEAN!!!! :D Chocolaaaattte!!!!!!!! X3
Oh yeah, you guys remember what I said a long time ago about that double field trip I was gonna go on? When I had to go to the same city twice in a day? Well, it was Thursday. I didn't get home until 11, probably. DX Loooong day. And I probably spent 8 or so hours of it on a bus. DX At least for the second trip I got to ride a coach bus. X3 I luv coach buses.
The first trip was to this Shakespeare theater, in which these 4 people were performing bits of different Shakespeare plays and teaching us stuff. It was... okay. *shrugs* We got there late cuz of traffic, and we only got to see about 45 minutes. It was only about an hour anyway, though. So we drove nearly hours--both ways--to see 45 minutes of it. DX The gift shop was pretty cool, though. XD I bought Hamlet in manga form!!! XD How cool is that???
The second trip was a lecture called "Farewell, My Subaru" by this guy named Doug Fine. He was trying to reduce his carbon footprint on the earth. It was actually pretty interesting. He was funny. XD Plus I got Starbucks at the snack shop. X3

Hello!! ^_^
Hey everyone!!! ^_^ I don't have my book, so no quote today. :g_crying: Sooo... I posted a new art just now!!! ^_^ It's called "Know Why the Nightingale Sings". Based off of a song by Nightwish of the same name.
Today I went to see Horton Hears a Who. It was such a cuuute movie. X3 I liked the part where it's all Japanese-ish. XD XD XD And I loved Jojo. He was awesome. XD But I can't believe that was Jesse McCartney!!! XD And I loved when they all burst into song. Strange how everyone in movies always know songs and can spontaneously start singing. XD So yeah, good movie. ^_^
Yesterday was Easter!!!! :3 I had lotsa fun. We had waffles for breakfast. My uncle makes gooood waffles. X3 And then I looked at my Easter candy... I have jelly beans and chocolate eggs and a chocolate bunny. Then the girl who lives across the street, Sam, came over with her sister Logan and we hunted for Easter eggs!! XD So much fun. And then Sam said that she doesn't get candy for Easter!!! :0 She has never had a chocolate bunny. The poor deprived child!!! T^T
We had ham for dinner. Yummy. X3 And some sort of baked potato thing, and mac and cheese, and stuffing, and other yummy food. And then we made s'mores!!!!!! Yum yum!!!!! X3 'Cept Mommom and Gracie couldn't come outside cuz they have asthma and the smoke would hurt them. So they stayed inside with my aunt and had strawberry cake. And Aunt Cindy couldn't finish hers, so I did. XD It was yuuuummmyyyy... X3
Today I went over Sam's house. Not for very long, tho, cuz I had to leave for the movies. But we talked lots and it was fun. ^_^ And she lent me the movie Enchanted!!! Which I still haven't seen. D: Thank you Saaaam!!!!! ^_^

Hello everybody!!!! ^_^ What's up??? I haven't posted in like... a while. XD So what has happened since I last posted...? *thinks* Well... I got a human geo assignment back!!!! And I got a 90!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!! 8D That made me very happy. Now my average for that class is an 88. Yessss!!!!!! X3 For an AP class, I consider that very good. XD
Oh oh oh!!!! Yesterday I went to Body World at the Science Center!!!!!!! It was SOOOOOOOOO much fun!!!!!!!!!!!! They plaster-ize real bodies... which seems kinda disgusting, but they don't actually [I]look[/I] real. But it was REALLY cool. They had brains and all the organs and stuff. There was also a human development wing, in which they had unborn babies. That made me want to cry. :g_crying:
Then we went to U23D. Which was SOOO COOOOLL!!!!!!!! Ya know the band U2? It was one of their concerts on the Imax screen, in 3D!!!!!!!!!!! It was sooo cool!!!!!!
The rest of the Science Center was awesome, too. I've never had a chance to go before. My brother went for his birthday one year, and I REALLY wanted to go too, but nooooo. He wouldn't let me go. T.T Anyways, they had all this really cool stuff. There were these metal bars, and some were cold, some were warm. And you put your hand on the spot where the cross, and it's hot!!! That was so cool. And there was this dinosaur thing, and there were dinosaur footprints!!! XD And we sat in them. Oh, and there were these seats that you sit in and then pull the ropes to pull yourself up. That was so much fun!!! XD And there was this harp that had no strings, but when you wave your hand where the strings would be, it plays music!!!! Oh, and my librarian (who was my chaperon) did this static electricity thing, and her hair was standing straight up!!!! XD I took a picture of her. And this one kid, Dan, said that we're gonna blow the pic up and put it on the library wall. XD XD XD And there was also a lizard thing. It was HUGE. And it liked me and Meg. XD It was trying to scratch through its tank towards us. XD The employee guy who was standing there said that in warmer weather they take him for walks. XD
Hmm... what else was there...? We didn't have that much time to look around the actual science center, because we were mainly there for Body World and the U23D thing. The only thing I didn't like was the cafe. I got a salad and a water bottle, and it cost me $10.50. What a ripoff. -_- And they didn't even have any hot food!!! I wanted pizza soooo bad. T.T But salad is healthier, so I guess it worked out. Even though it cost me $10.50 for water and salad. D:<
In the gift shop, I bought a shiny rock. XD It was a rock that had been smashed open, and there were amethysts inside it. So preeettttyyy and shiiiinnnyyyy.... @_@ And I also bought a necklace with some sort of gem on it and a ring with a rock on it. Meg bought freeze-dried ice cream!!!!! XD That stuff is so good. XD
And when I got home I was sooo tired. :g_sleepy:
OH, have I told you guys yet about what my morality teacher said to do if someone breaks into your house and points a gun at you? Apparently, you're supposed to offer them dinner. -_- Yeaaahhh... that'll work wonders.
Lessee.. oh!! Today is my cousins' birthday. The twins are turning four!!!! FOUR!!!! They grow up so fast!!!! T^T Oh, and next week I get to go see them in Tenessee!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!! I'm so excited. X3 I haven't seen them or their brother or my aunt and uncle since June. I miss them all so much. T.T
I'm listening to the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack right now. The song playing at the moment is "If I Can't Love Her," sung by the Beast. He sounds really emo. -_-

Anyway, tonight I'm going bowling with my GS troop!!!! :g_smile: It'll be soooo much fun. It's this thing called Rock & Bowl, and it's late at night and you bowl and eat food and watch music videos which are playing from these huge flat screens hanging from the ceiling. It's awesome!!!! I went last year, too. We had soooo much fun. I'm looking forward to it!!!! X3

I had to clean my bathroom today... The fumes from the bleach made me a little light-headed... @_@ I have a headache. :g_crying: And cleaning my brother's sink was HORRIBLE. It's so completely COVERED in toothpaste stains that you can barely see the white countertop underneath. I had to scrub it for like 20 minutes just to see some progress. :g_crying: Next time, he's cleaning it himself. :g_angry:

Meh, when I posted this before it got no comments. T.T So I'm posting it again...

I went to see Oliver at my school with M-chan today!!! Also Alex-chan and Sydney-chan were there. ^_^ It was lotsa fun. C-kun was starring as Oliver, and he was awesome!!!! :D But there was this one point at which he was crying, cuz he's an orphan and no one loves him, and we were all, "Awwwwwwww!!!!" T.T And also, one of my favorite characters died, and the other was arrested. T.T And the little group of theives had cool hats. I wanted them. XD But yeah, my favorite character, Nancy, was strangled to death by her husband, Bill Sykes (sp?). M-chan liked Bill. -_- I think she's nuts. And my other fave character was "The Artful Dodger". XD And he was arrested. Cuz he's a pickpocket and all. Weeeelllll, at least Oliver's happy. ^_^ It was a very good musical, and you could tell that everyone worked so hard on it. It was a wonderful performance!!!!!! ^_^ And I swear, C-kun was the PERFECT pick for Oliver. XD They let us run up on stage after the performance to see our friends and everyone, and so we ran and glomped our buddies. XD And I love the song "Consider Yourself". XD Oh yeah, and next year I think I'll do set crew, and perhaps G-chan will be in the play, and then M-chan wants to be in the pit orchestra, and that would be wonderful!!!!!! X3
M-chan and I were waiting outside for her dad to pick us up, and we were basically just dancing/running around these big stone block things in the front of my school. XD Also, M-chan told me that her dad was here, so we walked up to a car, and M-chan was about to open the door, but then she realized that it wasn't her dad... XD XD XD So we ran away laughing hysterically. So whoever it was probably thinks we're crazy. But there are many people who think that. XD And I stole M's beret. XD She freaked out. XD
I also babysat for 2 hours today. I'm $15 richer!!!! ^_^ Yesterday I deposited $240 in the bank, and by balance is $610!!! Woot!!! I'm rich!!! XD Yeah. Right. XD
Also today I kept the clock for the last time. 62 games total. Wow. XD One of them was the coach's game, and that was fun to watch!!!! XD Ten middle-aged, out-of-shape guys running around playing basketball. XD XD XD It was fun watching my dad playing. ^_^
Oh, ya know that National Geographic trip I mentioned before? And I don't know if I've mentioned this one, but I also have an English field trip to some Shakespear theater. And get this: they're on the same day. XD XD My English trip is during the day, and we'll leave shortly after school starts and come back shortly before it ends. And then we'll leave againt to go to a lecture. And this is the best part: these two places are 2 or so hours away from school, and RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM EACH OTHER. XD XD XD XD XD Amazing how this works out, huh? XD Too bad we can't just stay there for two hours and wait for our teacher to get there for the lecture. XD XD XD XD XD
Oh, have I mentioned Wednesday's basketball game yet? If not, we lost. T.T The 2nd playoff game. *sigh* We lost 28-27. Oh well, it was a well-played game. ^_^ Tomorrow I have a travel game at 1:10 and then, if we win, at 4:40. But if we lose then we play Monday.

Hello!! ^_^

In other words, life is tough. -_-
I went to see Oliver at my school with M-chan today!!! Also Alex-chan and Sydney-chan were there. ^_^ It was lotsa fun. Hey everyone. ^_^

Gaaah!!! So depressing... T.T The next section is called "A Life of Mystery." Ooooo...
I hate new shoes. With a passion. T.T Especially new basketball shoes. They suck. T.T Yesterday I had basketball tryouts for AAU, and I got these huge blisters on my feet. Today in tryouts, one of them popped and started bleeding, but I didn't notice it. And it was hurting so much with every single step I took. T.T And then I came home and realized it was bleeding, so yeah... it still hurts. T.T And I'm sore all over from running SO MUCH. T.T I'm not a naturally athletic person. T.T But overall I think I did pretty well. *shrugs* I'll find out Thursday if I made the team.
Today I got stuff to build a model of my house. It's about... a bit less than halfway done, maybe. You've probably never heard of it before and probably never will again--it's called a mudhif. It comes from the marshes of southern Iraq and is made of 20-foot-tall reeds. *nods* Yup. My report on it isn't that long, though... right now I'm looking up some more info for it. But I'm so proud of how my model is coming along!!!! X3
I also got Starbucks today... I got a honey latte and a chocolate muffin. They were sooooo yummy... 8D The honey latte was the BEST. X3 Yummy.
Other than the aforementioned things... I did nothing today other than school. XD Let's see... did anything interesting happen at school..? Well, on April 3rd my AP human geo class is going to some National Geographic lecture thingy. Fun. We're ording lunch from some place called Sasha's Silver Sacks or something. It's basically a bag lunch. XD With a flower!!! XD Well, it might be fun. *shrugs* We get a coach bus!!!! X3
We looked at planaria in bio today. They're a type of flatworm. They were kinda cool!!!! XD I poked it with a toothpick... XD
I started reading the second book in the His Dark Materials trilogy, The Subtle Knife. My brother got a book that has all three in one, and he lent it to me. It's huuuuuge... though I don't think it's all than a Harry Potter book. *shrugs* ^_^ It's good so far. But I have many many many questions that have yet to be answered... >_<
Gaah!!! DX I can't believe it's only Tuesday. It feels like Thursday or something. DX I'm sooo tired, but for some reason I'm finding enough energy to type this... XD
Tomorrow night I have the 2nd game of my basketball playoffs for rec!!! ^_^ Wish me luck!!!
As I've mentioned before, I started my KH fan manga. But it only has 2 and a half pages done... XD I'm not gonna post it until I have at least 5 pages. And a cover. Need that too. XD
