This section of my little book is depressing. T.T
Hiya peoples!!! ^_^ What's up? My life has been the same old Mandi life... Nothing special. DX This Saturday my basketball team won our game!!! ^_^ 24 to 18 or something. I nearly fouled out in the first half!!! DX I got 4 fouls in the first quarter, and then I NEARLY got a 5th in the 2nd half. I finally got my fifth in the last 20 seconds. XD Plus, we only had 5 people until about halfway through the 3rd quarter. So me fouling out would've been BAD. So yeah, since we won, we're in the playoffs!!!! :D We play again this Wednesday night. At 8:10 pm. Yes, 8:10. T.T Oh well. ^_^
We also won our game on Sunday with my travel team. We won 13-14, a VERY low-scoring game. *shrugs* But whatever, a win's a win!! ^_^ But even though we won, we played TERRIBLY. T.T We kept turning the ball over and missing our shots and stuff. *sigh* Plus, we only made 2 out of about 18 foul shots. TWO. -_- I made one shot. Just one. And that was on a rebound. I didn't get a single pass the WHOLE GAME. T.T My coach, he's nice and all, but he really isn't all that good as a coach. He always puts his daughter in, like ALL the time, and she. Can't. Shoot. At all. She missed EVERY SINGLE ONE of her shots. -_- I think that he can't admit that his daughter is not a good shooter. There are a few girls that I think he should put in more often, ESPECIALLY when the game is so close at the end. In the last 12 seconds, the other team was inbounding the ball, and they dribbling really fast down the court and hurled the ball up in the air. In NEARLY WENT IN. I think everyone's hearts stopped at that second. XD But it didn't go in, soooo... good for us, bad for them.
I have AAU (Amatuer Athletic Union, I think) basketball tryouts tonight... I don't really wanna go. I don't particularly like the coach, even though he is a good coach. *shrugs* My parents really want me to try out, though. Last year, everyone made it, cuz it's mostly just to help you get better and stuff, but still... I always feel inadequate around those coaches and other players. T.T The head coach is so INTIMIDATING. ;_; He just stands there and has this little smirk on his face and stares at us, and it's intimidating. T.T
I really need to work on my human geo projects... T.T I'm finished with the first one, but the second one is gonna be HARD. T.T I worked on the first one while I was babysitting.
Speaking of babysitting, that was fun!!! ^_^ The kid I babysat is so cute. X3 We played some computer games. This kid has a computer IN HIS ROOM. And it's a better computer than is down in this little office-type room. XD Anywayz, so after we played some games we watched the Little Mermaid. I loooove that movie!!!!!!!! X3 I haven't seen it in sooo long. And ya know what? I found myself thinking of Kingdom Hearts. XD XD XD Also, I like the song Poor Unfortunate Souls. XD I made $35!!!!! X3

At my school, they're doing the play Oliver. I wanna go see it, but I'm babysitting Friday night, and my parents are busy Saturday night, and we're all busy Sunday afternoon. *sigh* So I'm hoping that maybe I can get tickets for Saturday night, and invite some friends. *shrugs* Cuz I reeeeaaaalllyyyy wanna go. ^_^

Okay!! I'm back with the full post!!! ^_^

Hiya everybody!!! ^_^ So, I'm back today with a full post that was SUPPOSED to be posted yesterday, but then I had to go and accidentally hit the back button... T.T So, without further ado, here it is!!!
Okay, so this past weekend I went to my great uncle's 75th birthday party. It was fun!!! ^_^ I got to meet all these relatives of mine that I'd never met before. There were about 10 other kids there, and tons of adults. XD Saturday night we went to an Italian place, and it was yummy!!! X3 I got tiramisu... X3 X3 Yum yum... And then Sunday we went to visit my grandpa's grave. My mom said that she'd never been able to visit it before, because she didn't think she could handle it. We first stopped at Wal Mart to get flowers, and I bought a rose. I never really knew my grandpa, but from what my mom has told me he was a really fun-loving guy and always had a smile on his face. ^_^ So yeah, after that, we went to my great uncle's house and had lunch. They live on the water, and they have a boat!!! If it was warmer, we probably would have gone out on it, but it was cooooold. DX Sooo... I played basketball with some 2nd cousins of mine and my... 2nd uncle...? *shrugs* He's my mom's cousin's husband, I think. So yeah, that was fun. ^_^ And when we had to leave, my great aunt (she's soooo nice. ^_^) gave us these little cheesecake thingies. They were yummy!!! X3 And then it was a four-hour drive home... DX We didn't get home until 8:30.
On Monday, I... did homework. DX And at 4 I babysat. The girl I babysat for is soooo cute, and very articulate for her age. She's 4. We watched the Jungle Book... I haven't seen that movie in sooooo loooooong. I forgot most of what happened in it!!!! XD But I love Disney movies. Especially those classic animated ones, like Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid, Snow White, etc. X3 Plus I made $25!!! XD
Tuesday night I kept the clock for two basketball games. It was 15-18 guys, and they were SOOOO FAAAAAST. D: I couldn't take my eyes off the game for a second, cuz they'd score so much!!! XD But yeah, once I get the check for those games it'll be 20 more dollars. X3 I've done a total of 54 games. That's $540!!!!!! 8D I've been paid a total of $340 so far.
Tuesday in biology we did a lab with hydra. They're these little jellyfish-like thingies. They were so cool!!! XD They were swimming around and we poked them with a toothpick. XD One toothpick had saline on it, one had a base, and the last one had an acid. We were supposed to see how it reacts. It kept clinging to our toothpick when it had the base on it!!! XD Also, I watched one of them eat a daphnia. (I don't even know what a daphnia is!!! XD) It was soooo cool!!!!!! It wrapped it up in its tentacles, and then slowly pushed it up inside of it's body... it was SOOOO cool!!! XD I probably sound like such a nerd right now. XD
Oh yeah, guess what!!!!! Next year, my school is having a trip to France!!! FRANCE!!!!!!!!!!! 8D It's not until next spring break, so I have more than a year to wait, but still. FRANCE!!!! X3 I can't waaaaaaaiit!!!!!!!!!! It's gonna be so much fuuuuuuun... X3
I wanna hang out with M-chaaaaan... T.T We tried to get together last weekend, but we couldn't work anything out. This weekend won't work, but if school is snowed out tomorrow, we could probably get together. I REEEEEEEEAAAAAAALLLLLYYYYY hope that school is snowed out!!!!!!!
Oh, guess what!!! I got a 101.5 on my math test!!! X3 But this one girl in my class, Susan (aka super-genius-girl. -_-), got a 103.5 DX She's so friggin' smart. XD M-chan, you know who this is. Susan L, won the spelling bee in 7th grade? Yup, you know. But yeah. Oh, and also, I was recently checking my grades on power-school (website on which my grades are posted), and in morality, I have a 200% on this one assignment!!! XD I'm preeeeetty sure it's a mistake. XD I don't think any teacher would give 10/5. XD
In human geo, I had a quiz, but he hasn't graded them yet. T.T I hope he does soon, cuz I REALLY wanna know what I got... T.T Plus, I have two (yes, TWO) projects due next Thursday for that class. T.T And for one of them, we have to build a model. Of a house. T.T
Yeah, that's everything I was gonna mention yesterday... So on to today!!! (Sorry it's getting so long... >_<)
So yeah, today was... nothing special. XD Same old same old. But after school I got a smoothie!!!!! X3 Yum yum.
Oh yeah!!! This spring break, I get to go to Tenessee to visit my aunt and uncle and cousins!!!!! 8D I can't waaaaiiit!!!!!!!!!! I haven't seen them since June. DX

ARRRGGGGHHH!!! T.T I'd just typed up this loooooong post, and then I accidentally hit the back button!!!!!!! T.T So now I have to type it all up again... T.T I'll try to remember everything... So, how was your Valentine's Day? Mine was okay, I suppose. My Mommom gave me chocolate and those candy heart thingies. Nothing all that special happened. *shrugs* We got Chinese food for dinner... wontons and shrimp toast and fried shrimp and potstickers and some other stuffs... It was okay. And then at 8:30 I had basketball practice, and I was suddenly just completely drained of energy and I couldn't run that much... T.T
Today was much much better. ^_^ I think I aced my Spanish test and in human geo we did NOTHING at all... XD We talked about our trip to that island to camp, and it was cancelled. For good this time. -_- And our $90 is going towards this National Geographic lecture and a one-day canoe trip. In morality, all we did was draw. XD It was of something from the Bible that was already written on our paper... Mine was about a rich man at a feast who turned away a beggar named Lazarus, and then Lazarus was in the arms of Abraham and the rich man went to hell. Something like that. I don't really know. DX But I drew a pretty-ful picture!!! X3
Oh, yesterday I had a bio test. I think I did HORRIBLE. T.T Half the stuff my teacher didn't even teach us, and the other half he BARELY covered. T.T I feel really bad for him, though. He had surgery yesterday (we have a sub until March), on his eye. *shudders* When you have eye surgery, you are awake. Cuz when they give you the stuff that makes you fall asleep, your eyes roll back in your head. They do the same thing when you fall asleep, too. And then they can't work on it if it's like that. So he told us he was awake and could actually talk to the doctors. >_< This is his 2nd surgery, too. He had the first one for a detached retina, and it works 95% of the time. He was part of the 5% that it didn't work for. So yesterday he had his 2nd surgery, and now he has to just lay down face-down all the time, so that gravity will help him heal or something. I fell so bad for him!!!! T.T
Tomorrow I'm doing the clock for 3 games, playing my game in the middle, and then going to my great uncle's 75th birthday party. In Virginia. Which is VERY FAR AWAY. T.T So we're gonna be staying in a hotel tomorrow night, and on Sunday we'll be coming home, probably mid-afternoon maybe. But at least I have off Monday!!! X3 So anyway, I'll be away and might now have internet. So yeah, just letting you know. ^_^
I'm hoping to get together with M-chan and G-chan to watch anime movies and possibly go to Barnes & Noble on Sunday night. I hope we can!!!! I MISS MY M-CHAN and G-CHAN!!!!!!!!!!! T.T

Anywho, TOMORROW IS VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!!!! 8D Chocolates in heart-shaped boxes for all!!!!! *gives you chocolate* I looooove chocolate... X3 I just wish I had someone to give me chocolate... XD Oh well... I'll go buy some chocolate tomorrow and give it to myself. *nods* Yup.
I had no school today!!!! Cuz there was snow. Buuuut... those darn public schoolers had off yesterday too!!! T.T *sulks* But anyway. So I had off today, and I... slept. Until noon. XD And then I got up and had lunch. And then I read my book called Blue Bloods. About vampires. Very good book so far. ^_^ And then I baked chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips. And then I worked on my AP human geo assignment, in which I had to research totalitarianism. And then I read some more... and drew. And then I cooked dinner. And then I ate dinner. It was very yummy. X3 It was called chicken florentine au gratin. Doesn't that sound really fancy??? XD It was chicken with spinach and some sort of cheese sauce. And with it I had a sweet potato with maple syrup. Which is REALLY GOOD. 8D So yeah... and now I'm here. Yup.

Hiya!!!!!!! 8D *hugs* What's up??? I feel hyper right now... I'm listening to Randy Lee Ashcraft and bouncing my legs on the floor... I suddenly have a ton of energy. XD Which is weird, cuz I was soooo tiiirreeeed today.
I got new books todaaaaay. 8D I got a new textbook for human geo, which is Barron's Guide to the AP Human Geography Test or something... I'm REEEEAALLLYYY hoping that it'll help me study better for my human geo tests, 'specially cuz I have the one on religion on Thursday... T.T Thankfully, it's my 3-mod class!!! ^_^ (which means that it's longer than any other day.) I also know a big word: proselytizing. XD XD XD It means a religion that wants to convert peoples. It makes me feel smart to say it. XD XD
Anyways, another book I got is the Julius Caeaser book for my English class, cuz we're still studying Shakespeare. We did romantic comedy (A Midsummer Night's Dream), so now we move on to tragedy. Where the main characters all die. My teacher told us that in a Shakespearean comedy, everyone gets married at the end. In a tragedy, everyone dies or is exiled. DX
So yeah, the other books I got are the first Spiderwick book cuz the movie is coming out soon (or is already out... *shrugs* is it?), Furuba 16, and New Moon, the sequel to Twilight. I haven't even read Twilight yet, but I got Twilight for Christmas, Eclipse for my birthday, but I didn't have New Moon!! DX So yeah. New books!!!!! YAAAAYZ!!!!!!!! X3
Oh yeah, we learned "love lines" (aka Shakespearean pickup lines XD) and Shakespearean insults in English yesterday. XD XD XD The love line that I said was something like, "You like a comet attract all eyes." XD My insult was awesome. XD It was, "Methinkst you are a general offense and that all men should beat thee." DX How cruel. XD XD XD And then we had to pick three words from these lists to create our own insult, and add "Thou" to the front of the sentence. Mine was, "Thou warped clay-brained fustilarian!" XD Which means, "You distorted stupid fat frowzy woman!" XD XD XD Some of the insults were just HILARIOUS!!!!!!! XD Like rabbit-sucker. 0.o Which apparently is a young rabbit. I wish I still had the list of words!!!!!!! XD XD XD XD I'd love to throw some Shakespearean insults at someone... X3 Like cankerblossom. *nods*
Uhhh... what else do I have to say? *thinks* Oh!!! I sold all my school raffle tickets!!! So tomorrow I get a pin, and I can dress down for the rest of the week and next week!!!! Yessss!!! X3 Plus, if we sell 90% of all the tickets, we get a day off!!!!!!!!! :D Also, there's a Valentine's Day dance this Friday. I can't waaait!!! I love dances. Even though I don't really dance... XD

Yesterday I also went out to eat for my mom's birthday!!! ^_^ It was lotsa fun... We went to this Chinese place, and it was soooo gooood. X3 For my appetizer, I got these things called crab wontons, and they were yummy. 8D It was this crab mixture inside of this really crispy fried dough stuff. Yummmyyyyy... 8D And for my entree I got "lemongrass prawns with garlic noodles." Prawns are really big shrimp... it was really good. X3 My brother got Mongolian beef, and it was the best thing that any of us had. XD We all agreed. And for dessert, I got chocolate torte. It was sooooo goooooooood. It's like this big heap of FUDGE. 8D Only better... X3
I'm really hungry now... XD
I kept the clock for 7 basketball games today... that's a total of 45 more games!!! So a total of $450!!!!!!! And since I've been paid $100 so far, they owe me $350. X3 Oh yeah, and we won our game today!!! ^_^ AND we only had 5 people. (For those of you who don't know much about basketball, there are 5 people per team in at a time, so we had no subs. We were getting very tired. T.T) The team we played, though, they were... horrible sports. >_< They were playing extremely rough, and they were yelling at the refs!!! (I think they were pissed off because we were beating them with only 5 people... XD) They also have a coach that I REALLY don't like... So yeah. And they were shoving us around and being just horrible people. >_<
Tomorrow is a Super Bowl party... and I'm not sure if kids are invited or not. I'd just go for the free food... XD And to see a few people that I know. I think kids have to leave at halftime... T.T
Have I said yet that my dog now goes to day care every few days? XD Yup. My parents want him tired out when they get home, so they send him to day care to exercise. XD And when he went to the vet last Friday, she said he was overweight... DX My puppy's not fat!!! T.T *pouts*

Hellooooooo. ^_^ Wow, it's been, like, a week or so since I've posted? :O Wow. Sooo... what of interest has occurred in the past week? *thinks* Well, on Saturday, my basketball team won our game!!!! :D Yay!!!! Our first win. XD Against the undefeated team, too!!! :D And then we won on Sunday as well!!!!!! ^_^ We had an AWESOME game, if I do say so myself. ^_^
Hmmm... This week is Catholic Schools Week!!! ^_^ On Monday we had a mass... Masses are... not exactly the best part of the day. -_-" And our priest started talking about some football game that occurred 13 years ago. 0_o Yeah... And grandparents and parents were invited, buuuut you had to RSVP by Friday to get them there, and I kinda... didn't. ^_^" Whatever. XD
Oh, we finished "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in English class!!!! ^_^ It was a fun unit. Last week, we were stomping around the room to demonstrate iambic pentameter. XD But yeah, it was a good play, I liked it!!! ^_^ Yaaaay for Shakespeare!!!!!! X3 I love Puck... X3 He's awesome. XD
Tomorrow is my mom's birthday!!!! ^_^ And since this week is Restaurant Week in the city an hour away from us, we're going there for dinner!!! During restaurant week, there are certain restaurants on a list, and they each have a mini-menu consisting of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. For an appetizer, entree, and dessert, it only costs $30!!! For lunch it's only $20. Oh, and today I got mommy's present!!! ^_^ She told me she wanted new gloves, cuz there are holes in her other ones. So I found these brown leather gloves for her. The original price was $36, and they were on sale for 1/2 off!!! ^_^ Yeah, I'm a bargain hunter. XD
OH OH OH!!!!!!!!! Over Easter break, I may go to Tennessee to see my aunt and uncle and their family!!!!!!! X3 I can't waaaiiittt!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8D I haven't seen them since June. So excited!!!!! 8D I told my mom that I'd pay for half of my airfare. So hopefully she won't come up with an excuse to not let me goooo!!!!!!!!! ^_^

I'm currently reading a book I got for Christmas called The Alchemyst: the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. It's a very good book!!!! ^_^ It's about this book called the Codex (or the Book of Abram the Mage), and Nicholas Flamel is the keeper of it. My game this Sunday is being cancelled due to the Super Bowl. T.T Why on earth would our parents want to watch the Super Bowl when they can watch us play basketball? XD

1. Do you prefer subbed or dubbed anime? (Hmmm... depends. I don't like the Naruto dub much, but I like the Furuba dub better.. *shrugs*)
2. What is the longest school day you've ever had? (Well... it was this Wednesday when I went to FCA [Fellowship of Christian Atheletes] at 7 in the morning, and then had a volleyball game two hours away, and didn't get home until 9 pm. DX Yeah. 11 hour school day. XD)
3. Do you find it easier to draw boys or girls? (Girls, hands down. Guys always end up looking too skinny. DX)
4. Who will win the Super Bowl? (I dunno. My parents are rooting for the Giants. *shrugs*)

Hiya everybody!!!!!!!! ^_^ Soooo... what's up? Nothing much with me... Same old boring life. XD New semester started on Tuesday. Instead of introduction to Catholicism, I now have morality, and instead of art I now have health. Health is okay, I like my teacher. She's nice. ^_^ Morality... well... it's not like I mind the subject, but my teacher... *sigh* Well, she's one of the nuns (there are two), and I'd heard that she was terribly mean. I tried to ignore those comments and see for myself, but... they were right. DX At first she seemed nice, but she just has this... condescending attitude, I guess. *shrugs* It's hard to explain. But I don't like her. At all. She's making us memorize the ten commandments, which is fine and all, but we have to know them word for word. I don't get why. *sigh* But tomorrow we have a quiz on it. -_-
I went to Starbucks today!!!! X3 Yummy. I got a caramel macchiato. I like that word. XD "Macchiato." XD XD My mom said that next Friday, if I wake up every morning without her having to wake me up, then she'll take me and Allison to Starbucks for breakfast!!!!!!! X3 Yum yum. X3 (Allison and I carpool because we live across the street from each other.)
I got started on my Kingdom Hearts manga... Half of the first page is done. XD XD XD Yup. XD I procrastinate. A lot. XD
Yesterday in human geo was... interesting, to say the least. XD XD We had a debate. About religion. One group had to prove that God is the supreme being and that He created man and so on, another had to prove that man created God and that religion is a drug or something, and the last group (my group) had to prove that there is no God and that religion is used to control people. Seriously, we're a Catholic school. -_- I don't think my teacher realizes this. Even though it was fake. It was supposed to show us how controversial the subject of religion is, since the next few chapters of our textbook are on religion. Whoever won the "debate" would get 5 extra credit points on our latest assignment. It was a very interesting class. XD XD One girl in my group, Ashley, was yelling at the other groups and totally getting into the debate thing. XD In the group that had to prove that religion is good, one boy named Dan started singing Amazing Grace. XD XD XD He's what you could call the class clown. XD XD In that same group, a boy named Joey, while arguing with Ashley, threw his arms up and said, "Love! Peace!! Faith!!! GOD!!!!" It was sooo funny. XD In the last group (that said man created God, etc.), the person who was presenting their initial info said, "Well, we couldn't think of anything to say, so we came up with an interpretive dance." XD XD XD You should have seen my teacher's face!!!!!!! XD XD XD He said, "You did WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?" And then she said, "Just kidding, just kidding, I have notes right here!!!" It was sooo funny. XD XD At one point, Ashley said to Joey at something like, "Oh, stop your psycho-babble!!!!!" XD In the end, we all got extra credit. I told Ashley that she and Joey are gonna be lawyers one day, and then have to face each other in court. XD I'd LOOOVE to see that. XD XD XD They were yelling their heads off at each other. XD (By the way, as I mentioned, this was all just to show us the controversy of religion. I DO NOT believe in the "there is no God" or "man created God" things. Just so ya know. ^_^)
Let's see... oh yeah!!! For those of you who read that my Mommom was in the hospital, I don't know if I said this before, but she is out and doing well. ^_^ Just letting you know. She just has a bit more coughing trouble than usual. And she's not allowd to leave the house for three weeks. -_- And I was supposed to take her out to lunch cuz I owed her money!!! T.T
I said last post (maybe... might've been earlier) that I had some new art... Well... all of it was works in progress, and they're still not done. XD Cuz Mandi is a procrastinater. Bad Mandi, bad Mandi!!! *hits head on desk* I'll post the little thumbnail thingies as soon as I post the art. ^_^

Helloooooo. ^_^ I went to my basketball team's pizza party today.. it was fun. ^_^ We lost our game, but oh well. -_- We had pizza and acted nuts. And the adults watched football. And then we played hide and seek. XD It was sooo much fun. It started when one girl, Abby, went upstairs from the basement and we decided to go scare her. We're such loving friends. So we went and looked for her, and couldn't find her ANYWHERE!!! We eventually found her, and she was crouching in the bathroom, hiding from us cuz she figured out we were looking for her!!! XD So then she went and hid and we looked for her again, and then we decided that she should look for all of us, and then the 7 of us split into teams of 3 and 4. First my team hid, and then the other team, and then us. The 2nd time we hid, it was soooo much fun. XD XD XD We snuck outside, and around behind a car. And then Abby decided that we should hide in her mom's car, since it was 13 degrees. T.T So she snuck into the house to get the keys and told us to go around to the other side of the house. Then she appeared at the bathroom window with the keys. And she dropped them out to us, and then she climbed out. XD And then we lifted Megan (who's small and light) up to shut the window, but it didn't shut all the way. So then we went and hid in the car. And we waited for a while and then Emily (on the other team) texted us to say that my mom was looking for me. So then we decided to go back inside. So we ran back to the side of the house and lifted Megan up to open the window, and then lifted her into the room!!!!!! XD So then we lifted Jess up, and a car drove by. XD We were like, "they're gonna call the police on us!!! They'll think we're robbing the house!!!!" XD XD XD XD So anyway, then Abby and I had no way to get in the window. So we ran around back and went in the porch door and yeah. XD XD XD XD Then we had to go home. T.T But it was fun. X3
About the game, though... T.T We lost. About 9 to 35. *sigh* Against probably the best team in the league. I REEEEEAAAAAALLLLLLYYYY don't like that team. Not just because they're a good team. Cuz they're HORRIBLE people. >:( They're terrible sports as well. Once, I had the ball, and a girl came up behind me, grabbed the ball, twisted my arms behind my back, and shoved me over. And then their fans started laughing!!!! It made me so furious. AAARRRRRGGGGHHH!!!!!!!! D:< Every single time they fouled us without getting called or we did something wrong, their fans laughed. It was horrible. And the refs were awful. I hate to say that, cuz I know one of them and he's a really nice guy, but it's true. Seriously, I don't know what game they were watching. *sigh* But enough with me ranting about the game.
Oh yeah, when I came to look at my site, I saw that on that sticky note thing that it said "midnight queen sucks". I changed it, but I hope none of the people on here who I consider my friends wrote that. I have no idea who wrote it, but it was very rude and I did not appreciate it.
Sorry about that. ^_^" Anyways, I'm SOOOOOOO happy that my camping trip for this weekend was cancelled!!!!!!!! *sigh of relief* It's 13 degrees here, just imagine how cold it would be by the ocean!!!!!! *shiver*
