Sitting so silently,
Waiting, just waiting,
Moonlight glistening through the curtains,

When will they come?

Waiting ever patiently,
Waiting, waiting,
Waiting for them for them to take me away,
Waiting for them to come,
Waiting, waiting,
Waiting for the screaming to stop,
Waiting, waiting,
Waiting for this to end,
For them to save me,
For my rescuers to come and get me,
Waiting, waiting,
Always waiting,
Never stopping,
Waiting till we die,
Waiting, ever waiting.
