Angry Editors Syndrome (also known as AES)

Well I'm in the middle of saving my AMV I'm in the process of working on called "Taking Over Me". As you may figure, it features the song "Taking over me" by Evanescence, but what you don't know is that it uses footage from the anime Elfen Lied.
*waits*
(computer):....4 more minutes....
*sighs*
Takes so long to freaking save a few minutes! Well movie maker does save at a really high level, so I guess I should be thankful for that.
(computer):...2 minutes remaining...
Aurgh! I swear Movie Maker must've crashed at least thirty times while making this video! It hasn't crashed while I've been in the middle of saving so I guess I'm thankful for that.
(computer):...45 seconds remaining...
Oh, thank god! Finally we're in the seconds range!
(computer):...saving completed...
Yes! Finally!
*watches*
Okay that was my final demo. I refuse to go back and edit anything now. Not until I go over to my fiends house and use her MacBook to put the final touches on it.
*leers at MacBook*

Argh, great now I gotta convert it into an MPEG-4 file so it'll run in iTunes. The only problem is, they don't give how long it'll take to convert. All they have is a status bar, but no "3 minutes" sorta thing.
*sighs*
The Problems with Being an AMV Editor:
1. I have horrible programs aka Windows Movie Maker
2. Windows Movie Maker has a habit of crashing on me at the most unopritune times
3. The save times for Movie Maker are extremely long
4. I notice every single f***ing mistake after I've saved it!!!
5. The convertion process is so damn long!! (only about half way through with "T.O.M" right now)
*does head/desk*
I'm about ready to punch my monitor screen in right now :P
2/3 of the way done. The quality had better be as good as the original AVI file or I'm gonna rip some ones head off and shove it up their ass. -_-; As you can probably tell I'm a little wound up right now.
3/4 done.
*sighs*
This had better work. If it does I can show my friend(s) on my mom's Video iPod. I'll just tell her my nano's battery died.
*a while later*
I hate my computer x( ... It total destroyed my video when I converted it... I think I need to go lay down now... I'm starting to get a headache...
