I'm Kanuka!
You're Kanuka Clancy, a capable officer from the
New York Police Department, and also a member
of Tokyo Police's Special Vehicles Section 2,
the driver of the command car for Ingram Unit
Two! Kanuka came to work for Section 2 as part
of a six-month training program to prepare her
for her own Labor unit at her job in New York,
and she proved herself to be a much more
capable pilot of the Ingram than either Noa or
Ohta during that time, however it was decided
that it would not be wise to have an Ingram
adjusted to her since she would only be staying
temporarily. She is very efficient at her job
and looks at her coworkers of Section 2 often
with distaste as they goof off, and she gets
incredibly frustrated at her partner Ohta's
violent antics. But despite all of this,
Kanuka has a caring heart and slowly starts to
warm to them. She is half-American and half-
Japanese, although the only family member of
hers that we are introduced to is her Japanese-
born grandmother who lives in Hawaii, whom it
is revealed that she cares for very much.
After her six months-training period wears off
Kanuka has to return to her job in New York,
although she often comes back to assist her old
teammates in Section 2 from time to time...and
to yell at Ohta, of course. :)
