Nikkei Games Result
YAY!I know I'm giving the results of the Nikkei games a long time after they were held, but I was lazy. -_-' ok, I ended up fighting my own teammate! we're in different weight divisions, and I guess there weren't any other people in our weight groups, so we had to fight eachother! ^__^ ok, so, I lost, but I tried! and, they had Kendo fighting there! it was cool, cuz they had people fighting with armour on, and helmets, and using a shinai ( bamboo sword ) to fight! they had 3 different japanese martial arts: Judo, Karate, and Kendo. if you take the armour off of the people who did Kendo, they wore these outfits that looked like what they wear in Rurouni Kenshin! only, they all wore black pants, and some a different style top, but it was all out 1870's Japan! it was really cool. my friend Sai and I wanted to get the shinais, but guess what our parents said: NO. oh, and my friend Sai, ( judouka ) and my brother ( FBoy ) did very well at the Nikkei games, too! I congragulate you both! and, I hope my friend, Rin ( rin80 ) will participate in a tournament soon, after practicing after her vacation, and gaining her strength back for judo. you guys did awsum out there on the mat! and, he doesnt have an account on theotaku.com, but Sai's lil bro did very well at the tournament, too! Keep up the training, you guys!!!! ^__^
