   .hack//roots
I've been watching .hack//roots since it first appeared on animesuki (I'm pretty sure that people download fansubs like I do). And I have to say, it really follows the mystery of "The World" and the search for The Key of the Twilight as in the first series.

Kite, from the dothack video games, appears in this series and he is refered to as Tri-edge. I'm not sure if thats really him or not but its interesting.
