Ahh the long weekend draws to a close today. So sad T.T
Yesterday after church, I went dress shopping with my sisters, my mother, and my aunt at David's Bridal. My mother got her wedding dress and my sisters and I found a bridesmaid dress we liked. But man, that store was so CROWDED! I was feeling claustrophobic the whole time we were there. But it was still nice to go and let me tell you, you never know how pretty a wedding dress is until you put it on someone. I played Chain of Memories some on the way down to the shop, but my gameboy died on the way back T.T Must charge...
Today I went to do my DBQ thing for AP US History, but then I realized that I had left my notebook at school! I fully anticipated going to school on Friday, so that was when I was going to take my notebook home. But since we had no school, I couldn't get my notebook so I could do my homework T_T I hope my teacher gives us extra time. Otherwise, I could always use the one late pass we get per quarter.
So since I couldn't do my homework, I watched Snow White (don't ask me why) and played the Inuyasha PS2 game for quite some time. Man my back hurts... I was sitting in the same spot for a couple of hours. Not a very smart thing to do.
Anywayz, I'm off to watched Charmed now. *squee* I love that show ^_^

Four day weekend! Squeeeee!
Okay, yesterday I got up at the usual time (quater to six), got ready for school, and went to the bustop. After standing in the cold for about five minutes with my sister and a couple of other people, some guy drives by in his jeep and says out his window that we have a two-hour delay. We all basically screamed "WHAT?!" There was absoulutely no ice, no fog, no snow, and nothing to keep us from going to school. So I went home and played some DDR for a while since I was up and wired anyway. Then about an hour later, my sister comes to me and says we have no school. NO SCHOOL FOR WHAT? NOTHING!
Later I found out about a squall or something that dumped a bunch of snow in some parts (but not mine!) and caused some accidents on the highways. Okay, now it makes sense.
Scary thing is I actually WANTED to go to school because I needed the research day in the library for my term paper. Oh, well.
Another sucky side effect is that they cancelled the dance that was supposed to be today T.T Hopefully they'll reschedule it. Or else I want my money back. Money better spent on manga.
So since we had no school, I babysat my stepbrother and earned some cash. W00t! I also played some Halo 2 with my sister, stepbrother, and father before I came back to my mother's house. I was talking to Erin at the same time and she was laughing at me the whole time I was playing it. Daniel (my stepbro) kept on getting the friggin sword and slashing people with it, but I got him a couple of times, so it's okay.
Today I went to the public library to do some research for my term paper and read some of the America book by the Daily Show peeps. Really funny book so far, but there are parts I don't quite understand ^.^;; I'm a bit slow on the uptake sometimes.
Tis all that has gone on right now. Toodles, I'm out.

Super-Duper Weekend ^_^
Ahh how I love thee, weekend! How I long for thee for five long days and the joys you bringeth me in such short fourty-eight hours! But curse thee for the homeworke my teachers giveth me during sw33t alone time.
Anwayz had a totally kick-butt weekend. But let's start with Friday. Friday I took a test in my AP class, but I think I did well on the essays. I also think I did okay on my chemistry quiz. We had a fiesta in Spanish class and I spent most of it helping my teacher out with Prince of Persia 2 (he's one of the bestest teachers ever! ^-^)
On Saturday, we had my grandfather's 70th birthday suprise party at my church. Super fun! We had a table with all of these pictures of our family and of my grandfather when he was growing up. He looks so much like my aunts! I also learned that we come from a long line of fisherman and hopefully that line will continue (I love fishing!) I spent part of the night outside with a couple of my cousins because it was really hot in the church. My cousin Jesse (the one who ran off for an hour while I was babysitting him) got up on the roof and was running around on it (he's so nuts). He deserves his own MTV show. He and his friends do some pretty wild things. (ex: one of his buds peed in the back of some person's truck O.o)
Today I went to church and then my baby cousin's b-day party (he's one and sooo adorable) Had some leftovers from grandaddy's parteee last night. My cousin Ciara and I talked for a while about how much of a pain younger sisters can be (she knows the pain and she's only 9!) I'd have to say she's my fave cousin, mainly because I can relate to her the most (even though she's only 9).
So I'm taking a break from my homework because... well... because. AP took me forever... and math is frustrating again. My younger sister has some guys over for a project. Nothing really exciting, but I got to see this guy Bobby that she's always talking about who supposively has an awesome personality.
Toodles!

Happy Groundhog's Day!
Nothing much has really happened here.... Just getting back into the school routine since the four day weekend.
Weekend was pretty nice... I went shopping with Erin and Jen and bought Wish volumes three and four. It was a nice afternoon of nerdom. Went back to my house, read the books, and cried... seriously! Parts of the last volume were so sad! Okay, I know I sound like a complete nerd now that I've CRIED over manga. But I suppose it's the same as if someone were crying during a sad movie. So now it doesn't seem so weird.
School's been.... well as normal as school can be. Yesterday (or was it Monday?) I was walking around the hallways before first period with Jess W and Erin. Jess asked me if I noticed that she got her hair cut. I turned my head towards her and said "What?! You got it cut? I didn't notice!" And then BAM! I run straight into someone and screamed "OH MY GOD!" like a reflex. I didn't even see who I ran into, I was so embarrassed. He kinda turned me back into the direction I was walking and went off. I was red for a good ten minutes.
In English, Groundhog's Day was completley ruined for me (sort of) when I learned that six weeks and one and a half months are the same thing and that we get the same amount of winter regardless of whether Phil sees his shadow. So I've been conned since elementary school. My mother says that if he doesn't see his shadow, it means spring could be any day, but I don't believe her.
We're starting our term papers in English (sarcastic yay) It's hard to pick a topic. I'm probably going to write about the Japanese's influence on American culture. I could definetly write five pages about that. They've contributed so much: food, videogames, anime, card games, tomagachis, etc. Is it weird to be excited about writing a paper?
I've gotten into making origami again. I have a book on it that I got for Christmas. Yesterday I made a hen (which definetly did NOT look like a hen) and a duck (which turned out rather nicely.) It's nice to have a new hobby.
I recently painted a picture of a girl who represents the astrological sign Libra. It turned out okay, that is until I sprayed this stuff on it so the pastel would stop coming off. I definelty sprayed it too close and there are drips in it now T.T I was so excited to post it, too. Oh well. I'm sure I'll find something else to paint.
This is all for the random update of my life. TTFN! ^_^

Four day weekend! Supreme W00tage!
Four days of homework! Severe lack of W00tage!
Chemistry was pretty interesting today. My teacher was comparing pressure to Dragon Ball Z. He said 'okay if two guys are fighting each other and one turns into a saiyen and the other turns into a super saiyen who would win?' I guess saiyens would represent pressure or something. I dunno.
My friends and I are talking about going to Barnes and Noble sometime this weekend just to sit there, drink coffee, and read manga. Should be lotsa fun ^_^
Meh, that's all I feel like typing.
Outie!

HAPPY WINTER-EEN-MAS!
"When life gets you down, throw it into God-mode and Hulkinize everything"
Miki-chan's procrastinating on homework again and you know what that means! Update time!
Yesterday we had a snow day. About time! But seriously, the weather needs to make up its mind because it was 60 degrees here last week.
Anyway, I had a nice three day break after midterms and spent a good portion of it playing the Urbz with my younger sister. Yet another addicting game.
But my weekend was also full of drama. Yesterday I let two of my dogs outside. I went to let them in and they weren't there. My stepbrother left the gate open! I was freaking out and I ran a bit up the street and down the street looking for them. I finally just lost it and yelled for them to come back. And sure enough, three seconds later my dogs come running at me from the direction of the local Weis. T.T Man I was scared. Now we laugh about it and call it "Jake and Josie's Grand Adventure" (those are my dogs's names.)
Today we had a two hour delay and they cut out periods 2 and 3. I was happy because I didn't have gym today ^_^ But I didn't have art T.T
We watched Bush's inauguration speech in first period and he was repeating himself the whole time. The message was "we have democracy and we're clearly superior, so let's spread it to everyone!" Not to be critical of Bush or anything. Just not my ideal way to spend first period.
That's all I feel like typing now... needs to do my homework.
TTFN!

Day off... major w00tness
So today I had the day off school for MLKJ day. I woke up this morning and was suprised to see a thin dust of snow on my lawn. I was ecstacic simply because it's finally acting like winter around here! Last week it was around 60 degrees. Right now it's around 16.
Today one of my cousins, Lucas, came over to our house while his mother was at work. I entertained him by playing my Inuyasha game, which he enjoyed wactching me play. I lent him one of my Artemis Fowl books, which really suprised me because he's a fourth or fifth grader reading a series that I started reading in middle school.
Lucas, my mother, my mom's fiancee, my younger sister, and I went bowling later in the afternoon. We saw some people Justine and I knew from school, which suprised me because I didn't think anyone I knew liked to bowl. I didn't actually bowl today. I just watched everyone else and attempted to do some math work.
When we were gettting ready to leave the alley, this teenage kid comes up to me asking how old my sister was and if we lived around there. It didn't really surprise me all that much; lots of people think my sis is hot. And this one thought that she was quote "hot as sh!t". It does kind of get on my nerves a lot because she gets asked out a lot and gets all this attention from guys. But you know, I really shouldn't be all that jealous. I guess I'm just a late bloomer or something, but there's nothing wrong with that. Besides, high school boys don't really appeal to me that much anymore because of their immaturity level. Plus the fact that my mind is screwed up from reading so much shojo manga. Now I'm looking for something in high school boys that I'm never going to find. Grrr I really should stop reading so much manga. Can't help it though. ^_^

Midterms this week.... sarcastic yay
I've become insanely addicted to the Inuyasha PS2 game, which is NOT good because that means it will be insanely hard to study since I'll be wanting to play the game instead. I played it when I got home from school on Friday up until I went to bed sometime before midnight. Then I played it some more yesterday. T.T
I did some studying before I babysat yesterday for my cousins. Then I studied (studyed?) some when I got home from church, but in short intervals because my intention span today was.... ooh butterfly....
Off school tomorrow, no plans, which equals: hopefully studying some math and history and most definetly videogaming. What would a day off of school be without videogaming, anyway?

Okay, mi amiga Jen-chan is bugging me to update, so update I shall.
I went to my friend Samantha's b-day parteeee on Saturday which was a total blast. We ate out at Chili's and then we went to Best Buy for a while before we went to see Meet the Fockers. Best Buy was fun because me and a couple of other friends were playing DDR and we had an audience (oh how vain I am!) But then this college student showed us all up when he started doing heavy mode... 2X normal speed..... and passed. He said that DDR was all he did for four years ^.^;;
Meet the Fockers was hilariously funny! I kinda felt dirty and in need of a shower after we watched it though.
After that we went to Sam's house and popped in Troy. I saw about five seconds of it (mainly the beginning and the end) because I was reading fifteen volumes of the manga series MARS that Sam let me read while I was there. That series rocks out loud.
So right now I'm procrastinating on math (I hate thou, logarithms!) I forgot my english vocabulary at school, so I'll have to do that during homeroom T.T Forgetful me. Oh, well.
For dinner we shall be ordering Chinese food (muchos yummies!). I'm so starving... and it's only four... I'm not going to make it to dinner...
