Day off... major w00tness
So today I had the day off school for MLKJ day. I woke up this morning and was suprised to see a thin dust of snow on my lawn. I was ecstacic simply because it's finally acting like winter around here! Last week it was around 60 degrees. Right now it's around 16.
Today one of my cousins, Lucas, came over to our house while his mother was at work. I entertained him by playing my Inuyasha game, which he enjoyed wactching me play. I lent him one of my Artemis Fowl books, which really suprised me because he's a fourth or fifth grader reading a series that I started reading in middle school.
Lucas, my mother, my mom's fiancee, my younger sister, and I went bowling later in the afternoon. We saw some people Justine and I knew from school, which suprised me because I didn't think anyone I knew liked to bowl. I didn't actually bowl today. I just watched everyone else and attempted to do some math work.
When we were gettting ready to leave the alley, this teenage kid comes up to me asking how old my sister was and if we lived around there. It didn't really surprise me all that much; lots of people think my sis is hot. And this one thought that she was quote "hot as sh!t". It does kind of get on my nerves a lot because she gets asked out a lot and gets all this attention from guys. But you know, I really shouldn't be all that jealous. I guess I'm just a late bloomer or something, but there's nothing wrong with that. Besides, high school boys don't really appeal to me that much anymore because of their immaturity level. Plus the fact that my mind is screwed up from reading so much shojo manga. Now I'm looking for something in high school boys that I'm never going to find. Grrr I really should stop reading so much manga. Can't help it though. ^_^
