   Happy Groundhog's Day!
Nothing much has really happened here.... Just getting back into the school routine since the four day weekend.

Weekend was pretty nice... I went shopping with Erin and Jen and bought Wish volumes three and four. It was a nice afternoon of nerdom. Went back to my house, read the books, and cried... seriously! Parts of the last volume were so sad! Okay, I know I sound like a complete nerd now that I've CRIED over manga. But I suppose it's the same as if someone were crying during a sad movie. So now it doesn't seem so weird.

School's been.... well as normal as school can be. Yesterday (or was it Monday?) I was walking around the hallways before first period with Jess W and Erin. Jess asked me if I noticed that she got her hair cut. I turned my head towards her and said "What?! You got it cut? I didn't notice!" And then BAM! I run straight into someone and screamed "OH MY GOD!" like a reflex. I didn't even see who I ran into, I was so embarrassed. He kinda turned me back into the direction I was walking and went off. I was red for a good ten minutes.

In English, Groundhog's Day was completley ruined for me (sort of) when I learned that six weeks and one and a half months are the same thing and that we get the same amount of winter regardless of whether Phil sees his shadow. So I've been conned since elementary school. My mother says that if he doesn't see his shadow, it means spring could be any day, but I don't believe her.

We're starting our term papers in English (sarcastic yay) It's hard to pick a topic. I'm probably going to write about the Japanese's influence on American culture. I could definetly write five pages about that. They've contributed so much: food, videogames, anime, card games, tomagachis, etc. Is it weird to be excited about writing a paper?

I've gotten into making origami again. I have a book on it that I got for Christmas. Yesterday I made a hen (which definetly did NOT look like a hen) and a duck (which turned out rather nicely.) It's nice to have a new hobby.

I recently painted a picture of a girl who represents the astrological sign Libra. It turned out okay, that is until I sprayed this stuff on it so the pastel would stop coming off. I definelty sprayed it too close and there are drips in it now T.T I was so excited to post it, too. Oh well. I'm sure I'll find something else to paint.

This is all for the random update of my life. TTFN! ^_^
