Moonlit Path (part 1)
To take a stroll down a moonlit path,
There is no timing to it.
You must be there right before it happens,
Or you will surely miss it.
In the middle of the night, when the skys are dark,
You can hardly see a thing.
The grasses have darkened, the owls sweep the night,
And the last of the crickets sing.
But all else is quiet, solemn, and sleek.
No one makes any noise, not even a peek.
But when the stars start to appear, the assupmtion is so clear,
That the king of the night skys has returned.
And the plants know this well, so their flowers chime so well.
Their petals began to glow, with the luminous scented flow,
That the moon, their king, has inflicted upon them.
