Obsession? What obession?

Hey everyone! First off, thanks for all the comments. I'm not worthy, what with all my laziness. *mutters: Aw, crap! I shouldn't give them ideas!* Ahem. Anyway, I've got a new idea as to what I'm gonna do with the Repeated Offenders table. I think I'm gonna reformat it so you can see all the Offenders at once. And I think I may start a part with the Super Repeated Offenders because some people come more than others. For instance, FlintMarco made it up there, but he hasn't been around here since September, so I'm fitfully thinking of purging some of my Offenders. I mean, if you haven't showed up in a couple of months, then you're not really a frequent visitor, eh? I really don't want to purge, but it just doesn't seem fair for the more frequent visitors. Maybe I'll do a special section for those of you that come relatively frequently. I dunno. Doesn't really matter right now since I don't have time to do much anyway. I'll think about it...

Is it just me, or does today's little icon dood make you happy, too? It's just so perky. Yeah, well, I had a good day. I got to sleep in (finally!) and I wiggled my way up to the mall and went manga shopping. I managed to get five. Lesse, I got Angelic Layer #5, InuYasha #16 (yeah, I own #1 and #16. Now all I need is enough money to buy the rest of the series ^^;;), Pita Ten (I vowed to get something I haven't read/seen yet), Azumanga Daioh, and Shaman King. I was only going to get the first three of them, but the saleslady told me that there was a buy 4, get the fifth free sale, so I naturally got two more. ^^;; So, I now have four mangas to read (I already read InuYasha #16) and two tapes of Orphen to watch...when I get the time. @.@

We finally got new appliances for our kitchen (no more hand-washing dishes!). My mom got a new stove,too, because she wanted everything in the kitchen to match. -.-;; Moms... I also had the joy of washing the dog in the shower. Yeah, and I was stupid enough to think that I could do it without getting wet myself. Oh, and for future reference, shower curtains do not stop the flow of water through them. My mom's bathroom floor's clean now, though. ^^;;

You know what I've been pondering about doing? Taking a picture of Yami and, get this, putting him on the body of this guy riding a camel. How funny is that? XD I dunno, I'm easily entertained. I also thought of getting a picture of Marik and sticking it on Mr. T's body. Since Marik is Mr. T's reincarnation and all. This leads me to believe that I have an obsession with Mr. T and Marik. Maybe I should seek counseling of some kind...

Glad you all liked my random ramblings about drunken Egyptians. I acutally came up with that a few months ago while going from art class to history with one of my friends. Funny stuff, eh? You should hear all my government conspiricies. Like the fact that I think our school water fountain contains a device that clones you and once they get a successful clone, they swap you out so that they have an army of clone-pawns. I have a habit of being very illogical. So much, in fact, it sounds logical. But, I think I mentioned that last post. ^^;; My memory seems to have escaped me. Crap.

Well, I'm gonna go back to being lazy and confused. I may update the Offenders with a new person (assuming they aren't there already ^^;;). Sayonara!

My camel bids you good evening.

Hmm...It seems as if Japanese culture is everywhere nowadays. Just this afternoon I turned on the TV and there was a music video like a cheesy Japanese fighting movie. At least, it *sounded* like Japanese. I mean, you go into a store and there's bound to be something Japanese there. At almost any mall, there's a Japanese food place (and they hand out free samples ^-^).

Well, I managed to make it through the week without spontaneously combusting or having an all-out panic attack. So, yeah. I feel much better today. A song like "Wild Joy Wild Dance" (Ai Yori Aoshi) will do that to you.

Has anyone else pondered what it would be like if the Egyptians were drunk when they built their pyramids? I saw on some random educational-y show that the workers were fed bread and beer while working on the pyramids. I wonder what prevented them from building the pyramid lopsided, or like a right triangle, or, even worse, upside down. Maybe they could hold their liquor good. Or it might have been those disgruntled slave drivers with whips. Yeah. Probably the second. I can just imagine the pharaoh coming out, expecting to see something majestic that will awe people for generations to come, and seeing an upside down right triangle painted in tie-dye. That's why you never give people beer on the job. O.o

Hey, it's a full moon tonight! That's probably why everyone's been acting crazier than usual. Except me, of course. My insanity can't be surpassed. Muah.

Aside from logrithims, Egyptian history, Chaucer, the word 'postiche,' and anything Super Mario Brothers, Yu-Gi-Oh! makes me sing. I think that maybe my mind has exceeded its former randomness in the light of sleep deprivation and stress. Crazyness.

I found a pretty Orphen picture for you. Lookie:
I stole, um, I mean commandeered this image from: this site.

Well, I think I'll go read some fanfics or something. Ja!

"Fukai, fukai mori..."

Feeling kinda crappy today. Somehow, I manage to take a perfectly good day, filled with free food by the way, and completely screw it up. It's one of my talents, I guess. That and I've been kinda down lately from the fact that I have so much to do and I'm having a bad time all around. Dishwasher's still broken, my mom's car's on the fritz, I'll have to watch my sister next week, really no free time (or at least not enough), my room still smells like dog pee (even though I thouroughly mopped it), and I'm really tired. Not to mention the impending due dates. Can't forget that. But, well, I suppose griping does no good. Makes me feel better, though.

I'm sure that the heart I left behind
still lies hidden in the heart of the deep, deep forest.

Glad you all like the new theme. I was kinda hoping someone would complain about the gay guys in my theme so I could chew them out and relieve some of this stress, but, ah well. Good to know you're all open-minded. Or you ignore me. Whichever. AND IF THESE IDIOTS DON'T QUIT HACKING ME, I'M GONNA SNAP THEIR PENCIL NECKS IN TWO!!

Exhausted, without the strength to search people vanish into the infinite darkness.

Got inducted into a school club last night. It was pretty fun. The band was really good and the ceremony was pretty. I managed not to trip over myself nor light anyone on fire with my candle. The reception was fun (free food!).

If it's so small, I wonder if I can see it even now?

Well, I should go and work on my project. That's kind of the reason I'm on the computer today. Better go then. Hopefully it won't take me too long. Look for an update on Friday! If I'm lucky, I won't be drafted for that volunteer project my mother so generously volunteered me for. I wouldn't mind, but I have soo much to do this weekend. Sayonara, minna-sama!

Panda racist!

Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't post when I made my site change, but I honestly didn't have any energy left. O.o Hope you like the new colors. I think the only changes I'll make is dyeing the background red and changing my icon. So, that should happen about Friday.

I think my little icon dude says it all. I had one of those days when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed...and step in dog poop. Okay, so I narrowly avoided it, but my entire room smelled bad and I didn't have time to mop my floor (I cleaned up the poop, of course), so my room smells even worse after eight hours. Even worse, I managed to spectacularly fail my Spanish quiz. I mean, it said preterite perfect, so I used the preterite. Wrong. O.o Ah, well. I guess the Buddha just meant for me to learn the perfect tenses by screwing up terribly.

Saturday, however, was a lot of fun. The mall I went to was one of those modern-style malls with all the fountains and upscale stores and healthy food in the food court. It was pretty fun, once I got used to the stiff atmosphere. The only thing was that their bookstore was pathetic in comparison to the mall closer to me. I shudder to think of the manga selection. I did, however, manage to get this little kiddy book that had 500 Japanese words and definitions. My sister got it with her meal and she didn't want it, so now it's mine. Imagine, education in kids' meals. What's the world coming to? Anyway, that's how I know the words for actress and all that. ^^ Don't think too highly of me. ^^;;

Well, I think I'll go finish mopping my room and do some research for my project. Enjoy the Hiei pic!

From: Linkclub.or.jp

P.S. I'm not biased to blue pandas. I just happened to have paper towels with blue pandas on it and went 'Hey! I could use that as a subject!' That's how I got 'Sir, there's a blue panda on your face;' you use paper towels to wipe your face and there just so happen to be blue pandas on them. See? So illogical, it's logical.

P.P.S. Um...wait...I knew there was something else to say... Oh, yeah. I watched the first tape of Orphen yesterday. It's pretty spiffy. I think maybe I should do Full Metal Alchemist and Orphen as future themes. What do you all think?

P.P.P.S. Logrithims make me sing.

Sir, there's a blue panda on your face.

Please excuse my extreme randomness. My brain has been fried since sixth hour. History+English= explode-y brain for Millennium. @.@

Thanks for all the nice posts! I feel much better now. ^^ My cough is even starting to go away. It's still here, but infrequent and not as bad as it was Wednesday. I'm not mad at my teacher anymore. For some reason, I can't stay mad at anyone for more than a day maximum. Unless they've hurt me or my friends. Then, I can be mad for weeks.

Started looking for pictures for my new site theme, which should be in place either tomorrow or Sunday, depending upon how busy I get. ^^ I also finally got my grand prize from my anime club's drawing- the first three volumes of Orphen, which is nine episodes total. I'm looking forward to flopping down with some popcorn and watching some tomorrow night (since nothing really good is on). I also happen to be going to the new local mall tomorrow with my parents, so that'll be entertaining. ^^

Has anyone seen Full Metal Alchemist? It's actually a really cool show about these two travelling brothers who happen to be alchemists (able to change a thing into something different). In an accident, one happened to lose his body (he now walks around in a robot-looking armor) and the other lost his left arm and right leg. The second one happens to be the nation's greatest alchemist and, because of his metal arm and leg, is called the Full Metal Alchemist. It's a really cool show. I happen to like the music to it, especially the opening theme.

They even have video games for it. A PS2 game is going to be released this March in Japan.

Spiffy, ne?

Well, I'm gonna go. I need to look for more pics for the site change. Itekimaas!

National blame other people for your problems day

Well, I'm back and I had a pretty crappy day. You know, the one that starts off really crappy, but gradually gets bearable? That kind. First off, I woke up later than usual and was really tired. Eck. I just wanted to stay home and sleep, but NOOOOO. Then, I went to school. That's pretty bad in and of itself, but even worse was second hour Spanish. *winces* I had to take and article out of a Spanish newspaper and tell that class (in Spanish, of course) about the article. Well, my presentation came and my teacher completely embarrassed me by going into a speech about how if you don't present your ideas clearly, you'll end up getting bad grades and confusing the teacher and blah blah blah. Then, she made reference to the fact that people usually pick hard-to-explain and complicated stuff at the last minute, which was WRONG!! I picked my article on Monday and wrote my speech for it last night, whereas most of the class picked their articles before the tardy bell and wrote their speeches while class was being set up. How unfair was that? At this point, I was really embarassed and holding back tears from the utter embarassment. Then, she decided to slam me on my use of "una" instead of "un," minor, but annoying! AGHH! I would have been so happy to have a bokken (wooden training sword) right then. Really badly. If you want to get down to it, this whole thing was her fault to begin with (hence the national blame others for your problems day). I had to stay after school for her Spanish club meeting, so I didn't get home until 6:30 and I had to do my Spanish article/speech thing. So, it is her fault that I'm bad at Spanish. There. I said it.

Then, of course, we had to go over making our schedules for next year in history class with our guidance coulselor. I'm soo overwhelmed. I'm going into IB (International Baccalaurete World School- offered all around the world and really rigorous) next year and the schedule is DEATH!! I have at least 5 AP (college level) classes and I have to meet specific requirements in my scheduling. Not a lot of options for classes because of the rigid curriculum, but the decisions I do make are really important. Talk about stress! Speaking of stress, I have a ton of projects to do: English essay, English postiche on Julius Caesar (Shakespeare?! Are you mad?!), quote cards for English, Physics projects, and a project for my elective. Eck! @.@

But, I think I've whined enough. It's really not so bad. I'm just grumpy because I'm sleepy. -.- And I still have this @#$!! cough that won't go away! It makes me sound like a dying horse with asthma. Bad. x.x

Well, enjoy national blame others for your problems day. I sure will. Not sure how? Well, I spilled water on myself while trying to drink, so I decided to blame whomever made the ruddy cup for not making it tall enough and spillproof. All their fault I look like a clumsy idiot with my water stain on my shirt. Stupid cup-makers. >.>

On a brighter note, I'll be doing my theme change probably Saturday or Sunday. It'll be cool. Hope you all like it! March's will be the best, though. ^-^ And thanks for all the comments! They really cheered me up. ^^ Yeah, someguy, one of my friends told me that DBZ came from a Japanese (Chinese?) legend about a monkey-boy. Of course, they replaced the old man that wanders around with them with Bulma. For fanservice, of course. Or so I heard. ^^

In conclusion, when burning a Christmas tree, always use a flamethrower and lots of gasoline. ;)

"My chicken senses are vibratin'!"

Hey everyone! I'm back and feeling much better, especially now that I'm on the daytime medicine, not the nighttime one that makes me mutter senseless stuff. I'm on the mend. All I have to do is shake this sore throat and runny nose and I'll be golden. Much better than last week. ^^ I should be back to "normal" in no time. =^.^=

Anyspiff, yeah, I did bite into a pill once. Nasty stuff. My mom was trying to give me some medication and I couldn't quite grasp that I needed to swallow without chewing. Eck. x.x Never a good idea. I got some peppermint tea shoved down my throat today (two whole mugs). I do feel better, though, so I guess I should thank my mom for making me take that nasty stuff. I'm not much of a tea-drinker.

I forgot to wish everyone a happy Chinese New Year! Oops. It's year of the monkey. I'll try to find some Chinese zodiac stuff for you in a few minutes, but I found this really funny picture of a monkey. Behold!

It's a Goku monkey! XD Hey, look, I found a really good site for the Chinese zodiac. You can even find out what animal you are. Just click here!

Well, sorry I'm not nearly as entertaining as I am when I'm practically unconscious, but, well, I try. Can't always plan that brilliance, you know? So, I think I'll depart. I'll try to scurry by a few of your sites. Ja!

"Cover your eyes, children!"

So...much...medication...

I searched Yahoo! for myotaku name and I found all this crazy stuff. Mostly about Y2K and hackers, but there was a comic named Dark Millennium by Chaos comics and a song named Millennium Chaos, and part of a really scary rock song had my name. Wanna see? Satellite from the days of old, lead me to your access code! I figured an Ed quote was appropriate. ED! Now in the year 2004, I can look back on all those Y2K suspicions and have a hearty laugh. Ha.

What is in these little pills?

Wow. A lot of new people are visiting me. I'll have to get around to signing your guestbooks...eventually.

"May cause drowsiness. Do not operate heavy machinery." Awww. Sorry ol' wreckin' ball, I guess we won't be doing any wreckin' tonight. *sigh*

You know what? I'm in the mood for some eX dream. How about you? It's a really catchy song, actually. Lookie.

What do you mean they don't make 'em cherry flavoured?!

Em...In case you haven't noticed, the medication to restrain the terrible discomforts of a cold are really kicking in. I was right when I thought that I'd get sick. And I did. I even missed school Wednesday. Oh, darn...

Why are they capsule-shaped? Why not shaped like little Gokus like vitamins?

My sister is being noisy (again). She makes so much noise doing the simplest stuff. I'm like the ninja of the family (I hate unneccesary noise) and she makes as much noise possible. Even eating and sleeping. Amazing, ne?

I wonder what happens if I bit one of these...

The one thing that did cheer me up this week was the InuYasha manga that my friend let me borrow. It really cheered me up. That and one of my other friends was really nice to me and the manga-lending friend in physics class because we were both under the influence of some strong medication and the same cold. We were like two very, very young children, horribly confused and speaking very disjointed. I'm almost unintelligible when I'm sick. @.@

Ack! Ack! It's filled with foul-tasting powder! Ack!

I saw a really...interesting...DBZ movie today. I wasn't feeling too well, so I just hung out in bed and watched whatever came on TV because I was too lazy to change the channel. That and the remote was all the way across the room. Ah, the movie. It was okay, not too bad, considering it was an edited dub. The music, though, was terrible. It sounded like constipated guitars and a bunch of pre-adolescent punk singers who sang really bad. O.o I was entertained, though, by poking fun at some random stuff. Like the Dragonball logo. Is it just me or does it look like it's on something? Eh, it wasn't a complete waste. Mirai Trunks and Gohan are my favorite characters (until, of course, that Great Saiyaman fiasco. I blushed for him. O.o). Of course, my favoite part of any DBZ movie was the "I love Mr. Piccolo" song. Great stuff. I wanted to dance along with all the dragons and textbooks.

"Take 2 pills every four hours, but do not exceed six pills in a 24-hour period." Huh? Take four pills every two hours for six days? Or is it twenty-four pills every two hours for four days? Agh! Too many numbers. I'll just take two now and worry about the other doses later.

Well, seems I've run out of things to ramble about. Hope you've all had a relatively good week. I did manage to find my geek jokes. They were hidden between my vocab. books for English. Evil things. *hiss* But, I don't feel like getting up at the moment to retrieve them or to explain them. Ah, well. I'll repent with a quiz, okay?

Ack! My lettuce is hot!

Konrichiwa, minna-san! Thanks for coming to my little shindig. I'll repay the favor by giving you all the answer and some geek jokes. ^^;;

Anyway, I squiggled onto Yahoo! and searched for Frodo the Angsty Hobbit. Lo and behold they have myotaku account address there! It showed part of Dagger's comment. Eeks! I'm on Yahoo!! O.o To see for yourself, click here! Wow. O.o

Anyspiff, I haven't mentioned the vast amounts of anime I've been consuming recently, so here goes! On Friday, I went to anime club and saw some really spiffy AMVs (anime music videos). I especially liked the Trigun one. I didn't think there could be a serious AMV for Vash, but I was wrong. I also saw my first episode of Full Metal Achlemist(sp?). It was confusing at first, but I started to like it. Spiff! Then, I watched the third episode of Naruto (again) and laughed the spiff right out of me. XD Yesterday, I was bored and I decided to play some .hack//infection and watch the DVD that came with it- .hack//limility. This, too, was confusing, but I started to warm up to it. ^^ All in all, it was a pretty good weekend.

Well, I suppose I'll give you what you've been waiting for. I don't think anyone got all of them right, so I'll post the people who got it right next to the number in purple. Here goes!

Well, I'm gonna go. I did finally finish reading MegaTokyo to date, so I'm pretty happpy about that. I might go read a fanfic, but I'm not feeling very well today, so I might just go lay down. See you all next weekend!

Oh, I almost forgot those plugs I was supposed to do. Ahem. Visit bgunslinger666 for a battle of the bands tournament! Similarly, Flava's site. He usually has a couple of competitions going. Okay, end plug. Konbanwa!

I also forgot the geek jokes. Here goes!
Oh, uh, I kinda...lost my paper with them on it. ^^;; Gomen nassai! Instead, let's broaden your Japanese tango (vocab.). The word of the day is: Yamate! It means Wait! Okay, well, I'd better go. Ja!

1000+ celebration! (finally)

After a couple of setbacks, including a lack of ideas and my turning into a couch potato, I have finally gotten it pulled all together. So, please enjoy the dip, brownies, pocky, and soda, but hopefully not all at once. ^^

First off, I feel I should give a little speech to commemorate this important milestone-thingy. I started off kinda tentatively here, not having much to my site to set it apart from everyone else's. In fact, I'm still baffled as to why people come here, not that I'm not grateful or anything, just curious. My first big innovation was the Repeated Offenders section that started with only five or so members and has grown to at least ten (and is still growing!). I managed to tone my html skills (with a little help) to make my site as unique and fun as possible, so that maybe it would start to stand apart. I've been working as hard as I can to improve my little slice of cyberspace and I will continue to do so because you all deserve it (and because I need a creative outlet for my crazy ideas ^^;;). Of course, this site would be nothing without my wonderful visitors and especially my Repeated Offenders who've stuck with me through my best and worst times. So thanks, everyone! I really appreciate it!

Now that the formalities are out of the way, it's time for some fun. :3 I guessed that maybe you'd all like a little anime trivia. Have fun!

Well, we're running out of dip and I think someguy and DES have exhausted my poor pocky stash, so I'll end it here before someone gets too bad a sugar rush and starts breaking all my links. *sigh* Hope you had a least some fun. I'll leave you all with this really spiffy CCS song. Ja ne!

(Anime) Card Captor Sakura: Arigatou (Thank You) (second movie theme)

Performed by Kinomoto Sakura

kumo wa nagarete'ru kaze wa utaidasu
itsumo hashitte'ta kono michi no soba de
ima mo shiroi hana ga saite waratte iru
The clouds are floating by... The wind is singing
Even now, along the streets I always used to run along,
white flowers are blooming and smiling.

demo tomaranai mune ga tsumaru hodo
ima ga daisuki de dakedo sugite-yuku
sore wa mukashi naita yume no kakera no you
But it's unstoppable. It chokes me up inside
I love the present, but it will always pass...
It's just like a fragment of the dream I cried over long ago

fuwafuwa to ukabu yasuragi mo
namida koboreru fuan mo
daiji na mirai ni tsunagatte-iru
hazu dakara
The serenity that floats by like a fluffy white cloud
And the worries that make my tears spill over
are both connected to the precious future,
so...

ashita ni natte mo
itsuka otona ni natte mo
kitto omoidashite ne
anata ga koko ni ita koto
wasurenai de ite
hiroi sekai no hate de mo
zutto kienai ima wo
minna arigatou
Even when tomorrow comes
Even when someday I become an adult
I'm sure I'll always remember.
that you were here with me.
I'll never forget,
even when I'm in the very ends of this vast world.
For this moment that will never disappear,
I thank you, everyone.

tsuki wa terashite'ru kaze wa nemutte'ru
itsumo waratte'ta kono machi no sora de
ima mo nagareboshi ga negai kanaete iru
The moon is shining down. The wind is sleeping.
In the sky above that always smiles down on this town,
even now shooting stars are granting wishes.

demo wakaranai toki ga sugiru hodo
hanaretaku nakute dakedo tooku naru
sore wa kinou yonda hon no shiori no you
But I don't understand... I don't want us to ever part
for as long as time passes, but we end up being far apart
It's just like the bookmark in the book I read yesterday.

kirakira to hikaru akogare mo
donna kanashii kimochi mo
daiji na mirai ni tsunagatte-iru
hazu dakara
My longing to shine like the twinking stars
And my feelings, however sad they may be,
are both connected to the precious future,
so...

kisetsu ga sugite mo
dokoka shiranai machi de mo
kitto hirogatte-iku
minna ga koko ni ita koto
wasurenai de ite
chiisa na kono basho kara
sotto hajimatta koto
minna arigatou
Even when the seasons pass,
even if it's in some unfamiliar place somewhere
I'm sure the future is unfolding.
I'll never forget
that you were all here with me.
For what has quietly begun
from this little place,
I thank you, everyone.

yume wo noseta kuni wa
kioku kara tabidatsu
mata aeru yo
ima wa hohoende
The land where we rode our dreams
set forth from our memories
We'll meet again.
For now, please smile...

itsumade tatte mo
dokoka tooku e itte mo
kitto shirasete hoshii
watashi ga koko ni ita koto
wasurenai de ite
hiroi sekai no dokodemo
zutto kienai omoi
minna arigatou
Even if it's for a long long time...
Even if you go off far away somewhere
I definitely want you to keep in touch.
Don't forget
that I was here with you...
no matter where you are in this vast world.
For these feelings that will never disappear,
I thank you, everyone.

Thank you for all your tenderness
Thank you for all your happiness
Thank you for all your kindness
Thank you for all your everything...
Thank you for all your tenderness
Thank you for all your happiness
Thank you for all your kindness
Thank you for all your everything...
