"Total slaughter..."
Has anyone seen that episode of Trigun where these crazy dudes crash a train-looking thing into a radio tower? Vash was trying to scare the crazy dudes so he wouldn't have to fight them or anything, so he came walking down the hall, singing this really chilling song: "Total slaughter. Won't leave a man alive. Total slaughter...la da de da dum, an ocean of blood." Yeah, I'm rather in the mood to sing that right about now. You see, I have this really BIG English postiche due tomorrow and my group is nowhere near finished. Most other groups are close to completion, but, of course, my group isn't. It's partly because we are the smallest group, so each of us has to do more work. But, also, there's this one member, who shall remain nameless, who barely has anything!! Agh! I mean, I'm not terribly far along on my part, but I could easily finish in just over an hour. The thing is, our parts depend upon each other because it's dialogue. Maybe I'll just finish my part, send her a copy, and tell her to write based on that. Yeah, sounds like a good idea. I'm just kinda freaking out from all the stress. I mean, I had to do fifty quotes from Julius Caesar with significance and all that, I had a history DBQ (it's kind of like an essay where you use given excerpts to prove your point), a Physics test, plus I had a very important writing test today (yeah, if I don't pass, I can't graduate...). Let's not even start on my history test Friday and my Spanish test Thursday. So, if you don't hear from me in awhile, I've probably barricaded myself in my room for a few weeks.
On the bright side, I have a nice, long weekend ahead of me to *hopefully* replenish myself. And, of course, try to update the Offender's format. ^^ I may think of other spiffy things to do between now and then. I just have to survive 'til the weekend...
Well, I'm gonna go send my group an e-mail of reminders and crap. Wish me luck! Ja!
