Jamester: *giggles* You've walked the tiles of that very room, indeed! And it's good to be more securely in touch with everyone now :3
Becksy: *clings happily and sings* Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you ;3
TC: Reading about your troubles makes me feel guilty because you're not evil to your computer and it still gives you issues :x
Gav'ner: That is a problem with gift giving for me since I like to give unreservedly but hopefully my victims don't feel pressure to reciprocate, given that it's actually a "thank you for existing and being so wonderful" kinda deal :p
Here's a game I stole from Becky!
Rules:
1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
2. Go and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. When someone guesses correctly, put who guessed it and the movie.
5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDb search or other search functions.
1 - And now, on with the opera. Let joy be unconfined. Let there be dancing in the streets, drinking in the saloons, and necking in the parlor.
2 - Hello, you've reached the winter of our discontent.
3 - That's when I realized I'm part of the problem. Not because I remind you. But because I couldn't join you. So I left you alone. Don't give up, okay?
4 - "I SOUND MY BARBARIC YAWP OVER THE ROOFTOPS OF THE WORLD."
5 - I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in The Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I'd still have to bum rides off people.
6 - Do you have the "Texas Chainsaw Mascara"?
7 - Jeopardy, Jackson. Always works.
8 - "Mac... they said you escaped. I knew you wouldn't leave without me. I was waiting for you. Now we can make it, Mac; I feel big as a damn mountain."
9 - The marijuana goes in the top drawer. The cocaine and speed go in the second drawer. And the heroin goes in the bottom drawer. Always separate the drugs.
10 - Quiz time. Got your glasses on.
11 - "That's twice this month you've slipped deadly nightshade into my tea and run off."
12 - Why am I calling you by your first names? I don't even know you. I still call my boss "Mister", and I've been working for him for seven years, but all of a sudden I walk in here and I'm calling you Rick and Sheila like we're in some kind of AA meeting... I don't want to be your buddy, Rick. I just want some breakfast.
13 - Do you think I'd speak for you? I don't even know your language.
14 - "Ute! Shoot! Ute!!"
15 - Ta very much but … flap off.

I made my wallet an offer it couldn't refuse
This is being typed up with the aid of my computer! It came back today and to my immense happiness it still contained all of my bookmarks, which pleased me more than not having to pay for the work done ^^; (Isn't it typical though that everything else got carefully copied but not that? I are amazing.) They replaced the mother board, as mentioned previously, and also re-wired ... somewhere.
Anyone wanna put down a guess as to how long it'll be before it caves under my use again? xP
My desk feels a lot more user-friendly now that the laptop isn't taking up the extra space I bought with intention to decrease clutter (and also free up room for the bass-box part of the speaker set).
I'm gonna hafta take new photos now, though xD
After checking my expenses, assets and willpower (lol) I decided that I could splurge. It was actually a good thing to take an extra day to think it over because I made different and, what will hopefully will turn out to be, better choices :)
Speaking of money, the eldest sister is coming to the rescue by partly sponsoring my gym membership! I've been itching to get back in the groove and the mere idea of longing to get going amuses me. I mean, there have actually been times where I've daydreamed of how nice it'd be to be at the gym, haha. It's rare to get that strong of an urge when it comes to anything remotely healthy :p
There was something else I wanted to cover real quick .... hm .... oh yeah! The sofas for the downstairs living room arrived today :D I helped dad assemble them (haha, guess where we bought them) and now we can actually use the space the way it's intended. Before it was finished I felt it had the potential to be pretty sweet but thanks to mom's talent for planning and decorating skills it turned out real swank 8-)
I wonder if there'll be a lot of fighting over who gets to use that area now xD
Commentary comments!
Chaster: The last part of your comment made me lol xD And I'll keep that movie in mind for the future.
Jamesters: One word: loophole! Because using two words, like "bank robbery", would kinda get us sent to prison :X
Schultzereen: No :x ;__; Anything I should be on the look out for?
Gav'ner: Hopefully that karma will come in the shape of tax returns >____>

Somebody hide my wallet!
If I'm tight on money why am I (strongly considering) purchasing gifts for people?
.... Because the intended people are nice and I like them and I want to spread happiness and love around with gifts that might be to their liking and, Ionno, it's just something genetically imprinted in me!
Why couldn't I just turn out to be greedy, narcissistic and cheap? ;_;
(Is this where I rejoice in being a dramatic, sensitive and tactile monster?)
Ichigo: *nuzzles* You're swell x3 Plz stop, kthnx :x
Schultz: Storm is kind of gone but promises to return on Wednesday. Still blowing lots, though.
Canadian Goose: *hugs* You're terrific ^^ Plz stop, kthnx >.>
T-C: The Abyss is the one with the trans lucid snake, yeah? *isn't into metal* :x

I guess we're not in Kansas anymore....
So another big storm is hitting us right as I type this up and it's worse than the last one. Hopefully we won't see any pictures of projectiles through human parts in the paper tomorrow >.>
I've been somewhat active recently, gaspers. There was the party we threw for my eldest sister last weekend (10th of February) for which I baked and cooked until I was out of breath. We all chipped in for this cool kitchen machine which you can use for whisking, kneading, slicing, chopping, mixing, etc. She's been wanting one of those and was happily surprised :)
A couple of days later I headed over to Gothenburg to hang out with all 3 sisters. That was the plan anyway. The elder sister had to work late and I only got to see her for about half an hour before heading home again *shrugs* But the younger, eldest and myself had a goot time together. We had pizza, saw "Music and Lyrics"* for a laugh and to my amazement we even played a game of Scrabble (complete with the eldest sister complaining about being incompetent/not getting enough points), lol.
It probably wasn't the most brilliant idea to go into this arts & crafts store that day, seeing as it flared up my need for creative outlets ^^; I compiled this huge list of things to buy when I'm not skint and it got pretty long, lemme tell ya. Now wasn't the best time for my computer to need servicing** which in turn forced me to buy a bigger external hardrive to store away everything, nor to purchase new curtains + bed sheets, or to buy clothes even though I sorely needed them :p
Oh well. Yay for credit that allows me to distribute payment over a period of time?
Usually I keep on top of my expenses, a trait that's earned me lots of respect from my family, lol. Thankfully no one is taking advantage to poke fun of me for being stretched thin financially this month. Maybe they understand I'm being punished enough by not being able to order more stuff to play around with >.>
I did, however, find a really cheap poster that'll take up space on the wall behind my desk (instead of the fabric I spoke of before) and also got "Ratatouille"*** for half the prize! Now my wallet must stay tucked away ... unless I come across something I want that is a bargain :D
Another thing I've done in my time away from posting is bowling. Yes! After what must be years of being deprived of bowling I was invited along to play a few ... rounds? Series? Sets? Whatever. It was truly fun fun fun and I wanna go again soon. Sooooon!
Earlier in the week I tagged along to IKEA with the parental unit. A little bit of grumpy tendencies but nothing too bad. Convincing myself not to buy a whole new set of furniture to deck out my room with was .... a challenge. One that I managed to overcome. IKEA just has a way of making me ignore how much I like and am comfortable with my room's current style, tempting the mind with cleverly laid out/positioned furniture. Rrrrr.
Whenever all my plans for this room are accomplished I promise to take some photos for you to look at. Maybe a grand House Tour, as well?
* Dad bought it, along with "Happy Feet", and gave it to me. Apparently he feels just like mom in that my generosity needs a counter-balance or something ^^;
** You can follow the servicing online and it said they had to replace the mother board >.> <.< D:
*** lawl, I love how Ratatouille prompted Bouillabaisse in the spelling check XD
Schultzereen: Huzzah for warranty ^^; At least I hope they won't charge me anything seeing as it's still valid...
My walls are grateful that you extend permission for me to be weirdly creative with decorating them ... I think ;p
Molly: I've no real talent but the whole process keeps me happy and entertained XD If all goes wrong, call it impressionism!
And hey, you're brilliant in reviewing movies. That's something I can't do either :3
T-C: Nope, me not have seen The Abyss. Is it more entertaining than reading about how I kill my computers? :p
Right now the fabric no longer matches the curtain but if I can find another design there will be tapestry!
Tigressa Rogue: *slaps head* I forgot to take a picture of the lovely fabric! Because seeing it will totally make you relate, yes, definitely >.>
Becky: *snuggles* Your 'puter better behave, too, or we'll band together and do something that includes matches ~_^
*spanks Ichigo a little for forgetting SomeGuy's report in the podcast*

Excuse me, I'm feeling contemplative
Tee-Cee: Chocolate sauce, plz. "The Abyss"? ... *checks imdb* Nuh.
Sarah: Beautiful girls, such as yourself, should have people working for them. My two, uhm, dollars.
Becky: The name Caspian makes my eyelashes flutter. Or maybe that's just you?
Ichigo: Sank-yu. *curtsy* I'mma give everyone a break from the walls for a while.
Dad took it upon himself to do a little investigation regarding my computer.
The consensus seems to be "you fried your network card" (or whatever the word is in English) and "get it serviced". So today I bought a bigger external harddrive to store my stuff and maybe tomorrow I'll send the computer off. The main question, however, is:
Should I align with dad's friend who said "Fujitsu Siemens computers are crap" or do I own up to having tormented my friend too much?
Detracting from that issue completely I will now announce that a magnificant piece of fabric caught my eye at a store earlier today. Bought a large quantity of it, with no set idea, and as the day has gone by I'm finding it hard to tear my eyes from it. This has led me to decide the fabric will not be made into curtains, nor used to make cushion covers or anything like that. No. I will take some timber, make a frame, attach mentioned facric to said frame and put it on my wall!
Maybe some day I'll even get around to finding something to put on the wall behind my computer. And build that chest to put in front of the bed. But at least there'll be a yummy fabric to stare at. That's not bad at all.

Laptops aren't for me
But when my own computer refuses to let me surf the intorwebs ... I gotta deal.
At least it's not the computer in dad's room *shrugs*
Since this hath put me in a sad nonchalant mood, along with that stupid cold rearing its fangs on my head, .... yikes, that is one resistant mouse pad *eyes it* It barely allows me to move the mouse. And obviously distracts me further from the posting. Or supposed lack thereof.
Uhm. Eh. Yeah.
Uploaded my Renji wallpapers, just in case, and after seeing James's Groundhog report (right before my intorwebs went down for the millionth time) I'm just gonna cave to my obsessive need to share it, today.
(This computer ... GASP, I'm running IE! But that wasn't my point. The point was that there's no spellcheck here. One more thing to bug about, whoohoo.)
Let's see if I can find it/them first....*whines about how she doesn't like anything about this laptop, other than its internet abilities, all the while searching for the url to her ImageShack place*
Here we go. Turns out I now hate one of the first versions so it's not gonna make its way onto the web (unless I can improve on it) and my disappontment with the other first version didn't hit me until I was going to upload it. Oh well, for those who aren't too concerned with a glaring error it has, it should be a'ight. As long as there's nothing additionally that bugs you ;__;
As for the last version, it's the one that I like the best and hope at least some people (*big puppy eyes*) will agree isn't too shabby. Can't rival the Watermark of Doom wallpaper, though :p
I actually liked the results enough to almost avoid putting my 'stamp' on them but the idea of someone taking my hard work, and any credit awarded to them, made me re-think it. So they are marked. Just inconspicuously (spellcheck come back!) enough to not be bothersome. If you're bored you could always look for 'em, I suppose.
*succumbs to commenting on comments because you guys are awesome*
Schultzers: Relaxation is a big word in my vocabulary, haha. I wish you some of it *hugs*
Outcast: Well, it's not Aussie James ^^; It's SomeGuy James :o
Tee-Cee: *nibbles on your toe waiting for her stake* Haha, the cross of anime and friends is awesome!
Jamester: Mwuahahah, lemme tell you about this dream I had last night *rubs hands*
Ok, so I'm in some kind of lab. There are white coats scattered around the place, presumably working on research. This lab is set in a very big area (I couldn't make out where it ended .. or if it did) which is divided by thick glass running through the middle of it. The other side is filled with water and a door that serves as a kind of passage from liquid space to non-liquid space just to my right.
A woman on my side of the glass goes towards the door, as does a man on the other side. They're both covered in a space suit-esque outfit by the way. Apparently this door can only be opened if two people, on each side, places their hands on the exact same place simultaneously. I'm guessing it's to create some kind of equally pressurized space on both sides of the door *moves along*
What they don't know, but I do (for some dream-reason) is that the door has been wired with explosives of some invisible kind and performing the opening sequence will cause a break in the wall. Unfortunately there's no time to warn them.
The lock clicks and a crack appears instantly. A split second of reaction later there is a huge explosion. Glass everywhere. Water everywhere. I can feel the pressure hitting me. Shock waves go off one after another as water and air collide fiercely.
A person implodes/explodes and suddenly a Great White Shark appears to swallow said person's remains. Then it explodes right after doing so. This repeats with another shark + another person (I'm guessing these two people are the man and woman who must've magically survived earlier.)
As this chaos is going my mind is completely in awe of how real the waves of pressure feels as they strike against me and I'm mezmerized by what's happening. You'd think by now I should be freaking out with what must be blown out lungs or be worrying about possibly drowning xP But perhaps being so aware of that it was a dream made me put that aside *shrugs*
My dreams sure are vivid. Sometimes that's good. Sometimes... not so good ^^;

*warble*
James was in one of my dreams a couple of nights ago. I was upset about something so he comforted me and .... it was really weird xP Nah, just kidding. It was really great to feel his support even in a dream. And yes, even though I'm making it sound like I totally believe everyone would behave accordingly to my dreams in a real life situation, I am aware that it doesn't mean that Ichigo, for example, would do what he might do in my dreams to/with me if we were in the same geographical place in a waking state of mind. Since, you know, my dreams are, in fact, dreams.*
*pauses* .... Mmmmm .... *resumes*
So! Nothing much has happened. Ok, not entirely true. About a fortnight ago I met up with this nice woman for the first time who is in charge of a project that got green lighted recently (think November last year). It's a collaboration between the employment agency, health department, local government and the social insurance office, working to help people in my situation towards a job. Right now we're "mapping" out where I am, so to speak, and where to go from there. The lady's really professional while still maintaining lots of humanity.
It's exactly what I've been needing! Kinda hard to fathom how perfect it all is. Like someone went inside my head, customized my ideas/needs and brought it to fruition. Guess how relaxed this is making me _^_
* I cut it short here because, while it probably would've been mucho grande amusing to read, I didn't want to hurt your brains more than necessary ;p
Faroe: I'm so glad you understand me *giggles and hugs*
Tee-Cee: *hugs while contemplating choices* Frozen stake BBQ, please :D
James: *kicks Stupid Ed's kneecaps with a steel-toed stiletto boot* .... I love you though, Mr Sunshine :3
Sarah: Your love helps me a lot so don't worry about that stupid, incompetent--- *peers at computer* thingamabob >.>
Sweetface Ichigo: *squeezes* It sure did ^_^

The power of love O_______o
You guys possess some mad powers. My knee is all better today! Mom's massage probably helped too, hehe. I'm just glad it didn't get worse after cleaning my room >.>
Now onto a matter of computer savvyness. I'd really appreciate it if those of you who are knowledgeable in this field could take a look at the following screencap and tell me if you see anything suspicious:
I've been trying to put a little bit more effort in maintaining my computer so any help/advice in general (or, for instance, how to keep it running smoothly/fast) would be greatly taken in ^_^
My elder sister Angela went to some Asian country/countries and brought back gifts for everyone! I got this quirky-fun mouse, strange candy and a plastic wallet with some Japanese guys on it. J-Pop/Rock isn't something I stay on top of but maybe someone will recognize them when looking at the photo taken of it:
Another thing that's been slipping my mind every post is that I stumbled upon a fun site (while looking for photos of GO stones) and wanted to share it with you guys: 3D GO.
In closing. I wanna show you guys my wallpaper already. It has Abarai Renji on it. But, but, but.... we'll see how long it takes before I cave in xD
Shaow: The love is all around! *sends some back* :3
Tee-Cee: My joints are bad? >.> (It tends to happen when I get too cold or have been seated in a position for too long.) Eeeee! Frozen stake! Don't forget to season it /bad pun.
Azure: The rest of my body has been 'clicking' since I was about 11 years old and at that time I did go to the doctors but they pretty much went "whatever/it'll go away" *shrugs*
Schultzer: Looks like we have a joint problem! /*maimed for horribly bad pun*
Molly: So that's what happened! Thank you my preciously hot friend :3

You know how a rubber band snaps when you pull it too much? Now take that snapping sensation/sound and apply it to my knee (front to back). This only started happening recently so I'm not used to it yet, making the reaction more dramatic than the actual occurrence. Usually the pain is over within a minute but yesterdays snap is turning out to be different.
During the night I had trouble getting comfortable in bed because each time I turned, or tried to reposition my leg, the pain would flare up pretty bad. Since it feels like the leg can't support itself too well I've not put much weight on it today while hobbling to and fro. Sitting at the computer is an exercise in finding the right angle for the knee in order to prevent it from aching :-/
(Wrapping some bandage around the knee didn't help at all unfortunately and I don't plan on sleeping with one on. Not in the mood to wake up in the middle of the night with a bad cramp to boot ._.")
Now that I've squeezed some of that out of my system, time to see how much focus is left to put on the anime watching.
Kokoro Library - An almost sickly sweet anime about 3 sisters who work in the library their parents built. The youngest sister is not officially a librarian yet and the show follows her working towards getting a license, with a bit of 'whatever happens in her life on the way' thrown in. It's slow paced without dragging its feet.
I downloaded this one for chilling out purposes and the idea of a little girl aiming to be a librarian just seemed interesting enough. The eldest sister needs a good slap across the face, though ¬¬
To heart + To heart ~ Remember my memories ~ - Romantic anime + its sequel. The first one is the reason for why my romantic whale made such a splash a couple of posts back ^^; Another show with slow pacing but, again, it didn't annoy me.
The leading male is adorable. Second season wasn't as easy to get through/stalled in places compared to the first.
Because my romantic spazz woke up the show made me go "Futon~" <- like how you'd say 'chocolate' or something that makes you dreamy-eyed. Nevrmindmekplzbai.
Kanon - The original/First version. I tried going into it with an open mind but didn't quite make it >.> Not to say the show sucked (apart from the ending with Nayuki). Overall it just didn't work better than the re-make ~for me~. I can say that with confidence, too, after immediately following it up with the '06 version to make sure.
How they tied things up in '06 appealed to me more, both story wise and with the pacing, but I will say that the character rendition stood on equal footing in both (.... Except in Nayuki's case >.>)
The Glass Mask - lols. Downloaded this due to the description of it which went along the lines of 'young woman aspiring to be an actress and her journey towards that goal under the wing of a famous actress whose face was deformed after a stage accident'. The first episode, and subsequently the entire series, had me going ".... this is like 'Kaleido Star' with 'Sandy Bell' visuals....".
It's nothing special or spectacular but for some reason I felt a need to see more when the end credits would start to roll after every episode, haha. What caught me the most was how the main character (Maya) was drawing me in while I simply couldn't persuade myself to like her O.o So. Her acting process, I liked. But Maya as a character turned me off completely.... If that makes any sense xD
Sorry for the short commentary <:3
Shabamzalum: *snuggles* I'm sending heaps of love to you, my darling :3
T-Schultz: You do have a way with words, young man *applauds*
Tee-Cee: *steals some of your presumed warmth* Mwuahahahahaha!
Alexaloon: Reading that had me in stitches and loving you even more x3
Bunny Fifi: Thank you :D Calvin and Hobbes rock a lot of socks.
Sarah: Eeeeew, sounds nasty X-( Make sure to pass it on so you're not alone in your suffering ¬¬
Becky: Your wish is my demand! And if you need help downloading stuff and having them sent over to you *points to self* ^^

* So the cold is persistently hanging in there. I had to take aspirin before bedtime 3 nights in a row. Oh well. Fight-o, Mimmi! ^_^;
* Been catching up on some anime that was sitting on my hardrive, but I'm not up to do any kind of insightful review. Sorry!
* I feel like posting the wallpaper I mentioned at some point. Hmmmmm.
Slick: xD Yeah, as long as you're inside it's kind of a neat concept. Styrofoam of Doom! Still doesn't beat your awesome cardboard swords, though ;o
Tee-Cee: And the winds are still going strong, almost a week after the storm "moved on"! Or maybe I'm not accustomed to the weather in this part of town ^_^;
Petie: The newspapers mustn't have been informed of it, because it reported that it had been fairly quiet -.-' I demand my drama!
James: Haha, yeah it seems like most people are really into storms. Depending on the circumstances I can get into 'em as well, but not that one >.> Woof on you :3
Sarah: Are you used to storms? 'Cause it seems like there'd be a fair few of them in your area. And you're an excellent mommy to your puppies _^_
Schultz: That's interesting how you "find personal order amongst natural chaos". I'm totally loving that expression :D
Becky: You'd be so incredibly proud if you could see how slack I've been xD And thank you for the praise, love!
