Welcome to my site archives. 10 posts are listed per page.
I'm not out of the woods yet. Still feeling sick to my stomach and when it settles even slightly I get headaches instead. Or they both battle it out at the same time. Le groan.
Also.
My computer screen conked out (I can turn it on but then it automatically shuts down, repeat ad nauseum) and now it turns out (according to dad/tech support) that the computer's messed something up so any screen hooked up to it will produce terrible [imagery] quality. Which means I'm forced to hand the computer in for service. Hopefully they can fix the screen as well since it worked really well for me.
Not feeling well means I can't get to a library or anything like that and dad's computer is too stupid to use. This means I won't have much/any contact with you guys for however long it takes to fix the issues. Talk about being cut off ._.
it's a quarter to 3 in the morning/middle of the night and i'm gonna try to go to sleep despite feeling like i'm about to barf any second. downing some underberg - wiki it. lovely stuff - helped every so slightly but this bug is persistant. and i'm squeamish.
sorry for not commenting on comments. i shall do so once this stupid cold - that started this past saturday - is over and done with. which better be soon. or i shall be very cross. or covered in puke. urk. Comments (4) |

Excuse the sloppyness in this post; the evilness is hard to shake XP
So here's the first sneak peak of the house we're building, in which you see the tip of it (and there's actually a brick house nestled between the white house and ours) -->
Yes, you may call me a tease now XP Now let's tell the story on how the sneaky fortress started out.....
Mom, dad and myself all sat down to design the layout of the house. Initially we looked at 'instant houses' that could be built pretty quickly but none seemed to fit our needs. So when our rough sketch was finished it got handed over to an architecht who helped finalize everything.
It should be mentioned that even today the plans are on a sketch-level. Thankfully our builders are skilled enough to not need more than the basic plan they've been given ^^;
Because dad kinda stalled the whole process it wasn't until December that we really got started. First there was plenty of digging and plumbing. Then came all that grey concrete. When that had dried they put up some timber planks on top, along the edges, for when framing would begin.
During these stages it sometimes felt like nothing happened. Still, riding on the bus to our street made me feel wonderful. It truly was like going home _^_
Because of the slow (in my mind) progress I didn't stop by for a week or so and when dad told us they'd put up the rough framing .... well, both mom and I jumped into the car so dad could drive us over XD
Boy, let me tell you. That was a magical moment. To see more precise the dimensions of what is to be our home, all that timber reaching for the sky, knowing that this is where I'll get to grow some roots... Just awesome.
After that evening the pace gained some speed. Every other day something new (but more accurately, VISIBLE) had been done. The bus card mom and dad gave me has really come in handy, lol. My camera has also saved recording the process, since dad's camera is having issues with the memory card O.o;
While I'm not a fantastic photographer, it's great to capture this build. The last time my parents built a house I was barely out of the womb (roughly 1 year old) and now I get to experience the same thing as them. Fascinating :)
You probably didn't think I'd show more pictures, huh? Buahahahahahahaha!
Here they come :D PS: Love me for putting up with ImageShack being a Slowpoke -.-
At first it only looked like the following picture, because the cement had to dry and stuff -->
Then all of a sudden, after not seeing it for a few days, there was timber everywhere! This is taken from the back of the house -->
We're also having a smaller storage shack built, right off the carport -->
I could stare at that roof for an eternity. Too bad it's
gonna get blocked by the inner ceiling -->
I actually went up on the second floor, which was torture on my vertigo! The wind was blowing so hard and the ladder felt very rickety ;_; But it was sooooo worth it -->
Looking down through a hole on the second floor *whimper* -->
MY FUTURE ROOOOOOOOOM! .... Can you tell I'm excited? :P A bit on the left will be a bathroom and behind it a mini walk-in-closet, then the rest on the right is all mine =D (I'll try to snatch the drawings so you'll get a more proper understanding on what it'll be like, heh) -->
This is the most recent photo I've snapped, showing pretty much all of the lot/land and what we have on it -->
: Haha, for many many many many years I so desperately wanted to move to someplace new (in our town), preferably somewhere with stairs... lol. *tacklehugs*
Molls: Whoa, that many times in equal amounts of years?! You must be an expert packer by now *bows*
John: Yep, it's brand new. Some neighbours have got their houses up, others are nearing completion and there's some apartment buildings going up [a stones throw away from] where I started recording the clip.
And I'm witholding pictures because I can >:P
Important question to John and everyone: Do you want pictures from when we started or just what the house looks like in its current state?
Slick: Sweden is pretty flat, in general, but we actually live in a valley of sorts. It's nestled in between a couple hills. I'll try to dig up a picture on the net, or even go up to a height and take a photo to showcase :p
Sarahlicious: I'm thinking of claming it as my own, actually *snickers*
I hope things are going along fine for you, as well, mi chica. You're on my mind :) *hugs*
Schultz: *bows deeply* Hopefully I'm an entertaining one, too :p
Shabamz: *blows kisses* Me loves you too! And there will be many more lovely days, for both/all of us :3
Becksy: "And Mimmi said: let there be some romantic action between Tuyen/Lahn and Becky made it so!" .... >____> XD *composes*
Alexa: You are the definition of a Legend so, really, you should be one before me *nod nod*
Sara: Why, you are such a perceptive lass. Nothing gets past you *giggles* By the by, Adam should create another title for you: Otaku Icon =)
MC: You're good at what, you say? Sorry? *imagines this turning out into a really good pun comic* :p
(And yes, good Mondays are rare. They're usually horrid or just Mondays *agrees*)
Shaow: Tell you what, list the songs you're interested in hearing and I'll re-upload them. They're all on my computer so it won't be any hassle for me =)
*dons her Godess/Jester Crown and prances about* Beware my fluffy EGO! ;3
Soooooooooooooooooooooo, is everyone clued in on the whole 'Mimmi and Parents are building a house'? I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned here but you guys haven't been able to see/hear any progress on the matter ^^;
Therefore I present to you a little clip, shot with my digital camera, showcasing the bus-stop next to my future neighbourhood. You can't actually see our house in this clip, but it's just behind the white house with a grey roof:
(............ Ok, I open up a new tab for youtube and spot "Baby farts" ..... which was kinda fun. But then there was a link to an even better one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TH0rS4hyJzg&mode=related&search= Ehum. Returning to the proper video XD;)
And right now I need to get some sleep so you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see some actual pictures of the actual house ;p
(There's apparently a smaller storm coming through tomorrow O.o Poor dad and the carpenters working on the house :-/)
Monday was the best day ever because I spent most of it with my newest favourite family. Younger sister Juliette got a phonecall from one of the Brothers I've spoken about before and they offered free movie tickets to an early screening of "Flushed Away". The invitation got extended to me, too :3 All-in-all there were all of the Brothers (3), Juliette and myself, and a young couple with their daughter.
The movie was awesome, we had a row to yourselves and were obviously the loudest of the bunch in the room (so much to laugh at XD), but the fun didn't stop when the movie did! Their mother said we (Juliette and I) were welcome over to their place for some snacks - which turned into dinner and dessert! - an offer we (maybe mostly me ^^;) jumped at :p The Brothers' sister was there, too, with her hubby and their kid + the world's most snuggly cat :3
We ate, laughed, watched a hilariously bizarre movie called "Rat" with Pete Postlewaithe turning into ... a rat, then there was showings of holiday pictures to Ireland. They even let us browse the family photo albums!!!! I didn't want to leave, lol. After a week of stress from preparing and having a family dinner last Saturday, I totally needed that Monday. It saved me.
I wanna marry into that family <3
Taken from Adam's MyO:
"Otaku Legend
* You have to be a frequent visitor
* Registration 18 months min.
* 200 Comments"
..... So, am I eligable for Otaku Legend yet or what? *confuzzled and greedy*
Becky: One day, my darling ~_^ *manic laughter*
Molly: ..... Yeaaaaaah, "Scrabble" *snickers*
MC: So, just what is your favourite game, then? :o
Slick: The Soot Sprite gives me and my family much joy :D And the Scrabble gives me even more joy >:D
Shaow: Which songs can't you get? Maybe I can re-upload them or something for you.
And hey, I don't cruch my opponents .... I grind them into fairy dust! ... >_____>;
Slick, you have my eternal love. Uhm ... most of my eternal love, anyway. You'll have to share a little bit of it with the soot sprite ;p
The pictures made my heart feel warm and fuzzy. It has to be the nicest touch I've even seen. Everything just had me melting away with happiness _^_
And I'm totally gonna wear that headband tomorrow when my sister comes over. Boy, will she ever be jealous >:D She might get to touch it. We'll see, lol.
Eeeeeeeee! It'd be so incredibly cool to have a Scrabble evening with lotsa people. Rest assured my entire family + my sisters' boyfriend shall be pestered to play with me *spins giddily on her chair*
Seriously, James. Your awesomeness has never been questioned but this absolutely raised it through the roof and beyond the hemisphere. Arigato, hanata :3
Schultz: Yeah, the first work out got my muscles hurting somewhat but now it's ok ^_^ You be good now, buddy!
Shabammaz: And, and, and! Malkovich is in Eragon too! That's another point XD It'd be really cool if you got your review of the movie posted soonish :3
Evil: He wants your babies. Or give you some. Either way, he's got to be totally hawt for you ;3
More photoshopping pleaze, kthnxbaibai!
Shaow: Thank you! It sure is tempting to ask for a snazzy layout, such as yours, but I'm good for now. *keeps it in mind for the future* ^__^
Anyone wanna exormacize my Inbox from two phantom PMs?
Shabam: Your ventures into Photoshop always come out smashing! Wheeesh, don't try to convince me otherwise ;p
The trailer for Eragon makes me think it's definitely something I should watch (possibly even pick up the books!), for the simple reason that Jeremy Irons is in it. And the dragons look cool 8-)
Slick: *laughs* You're a good man, James. A very good man. And with avatars featuring GTO you can't with wrong!
Elexy: Oh, those >.> I'm working on it! Just gotta find that opportune moment ;3
You indeed need to photoshop more, when you find the time. It's always fun to see what you come up with _^_ (PS: I'm dying with curiosity regarding teh b0y-beezneez >.>)
John: Awww, but that's with the help of great stock photo ;D Your compliment is greatly devoured by my ego, though!
Mist: *smacks herself* Your Guestbook will be signed, shortly! And maybe with ice-cream... or just regular print :p
I had this other program that I used for ages before working more with Photoshop, but it is nice to have alternatives *nod nod*
MC: Arigato, very muchly ^__^! Sadly I don't have winamp so no teacher-student madness for us, though you've still taught me something with your comment! So's all good 8-)
Schultz: *hugs* Man, I'm starting to hate your job just as much as you do. lol. After working out yesterday I understood what my body lacked: maintenance XD It doesn't get worn out enough to get sleepy and the need for repair/sleep goes down. Snoozing should be getting easier when I'm in full work out-swing :D
Becksy: There will be photos. Raunchy photos. Of sorts ;p And thank you for your sweet love. It makes my heart go boom-boom-bitty-boom-boom *glomps*

http://www.megaupload.com/se/?d=M7STVTV5 Rocksteady Love - Victoria Silverstedt
(I'm pretty sure most guys - and probably girls - will be familiar with this chick/ woman. Can't really be bothered to talk about her but she's been allowed to do and release this song, in any case XD)
http://www.megaupload.com/se/?d=F56LFWM6 Weightless - Bosson & Emma Andersson
(Emma Andersson was in one of the seasons of [Swedish] "Survivor" and is mostly famous for her bossom. Aside from a brief stint in the music industry she's also hosted a show named after her and even returned to the last season of "Survivor" [shown on its original - it continued to worsen on another channel after].)
http://www.megaupload.com/se/?d=YSI3TE6G One in a million - Bosson
(This song should be pretty well known for everyone. Featured in the Sandra Bullock movie "Miss Congeniality". Bosson first became known as he took part of a famous show here in Sweden called "Aim for the stars"/"Sikta mot stjärnorna" where the participants perform live, in front of a studio audience, as a singer/singstress/band of their choice. He chose Michael Jackson.)
http://www.megaupload.com/se/?d=BK4R9JT7 Electric - Leila K.
(Vastly popular when I was 14; everyone called the local radioshow that aired during spring break and demanded they played it, including yours truly ... only I went a step burther by leaving an embarrassing message for someone as well *dies laughing* Anywhoo. Leila K is more known for having peed on nightclub tables than her music.)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PMADRQM3 How will I know - Jessica Folcker
(Recognize this voice? Listen to above song again if not. This lass participated in the Miss Sweden pageant before fulfilling her dream of being a solo artist. The following 2 songs are with her and have pretty much the same sound to them.)
http://www.megaupload.com/se/?d=AZ9C0SZ2 Tell me what you like - Jessica Folcker
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1U1ZJDC6 I do - Jessica Folcker
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9LN2TAV3 Big big world - Emilia
(With a tiny voice like that it's no surprise she didn't last much longer than this one-hit. Has anyone heard this one before now?)
I woke up at 9AM, as opposed to noon! ..... I think I'm gonna take a nap now XD
It is nice to have had one night of normal sleep after quite a few days of staying up (unable to sleep) until 2-3AM and not getting out of bed again until noon, then napping away an hour or so in the middle of the day ^^;
The time spent awake has been devoted to messing about in Photoshop, which is another proof of my denial in regards to talent. Because, you see, in the end I could care less if I've got talent. As long as I can idle my time away and have fun, that's all that matters! But you'll still hear me griping about it every now and then XP
I think the reason for why it's possible for me to stay strong is the fact that I do allow myself to whine/bitch/wallow. It's like cleaning out a freezer that's been overloaded with ice/frost. By poking and prodding the crystals I'm able to chip away at my problems. Or I sit and stare while it slowly melts away, whatever :p
Making banners and whatnot is great therapy. Visualizing an emotion can really help you look at it from another angle, which is kinda hard when being smack in the middle of it. But doing something completely removed from your troubles, like an over-cutesy and perky card, can take the edge off of the tension.
Because I've been so tired lately I've not had much energy to activate myself with anything energy-consuming. Playing around with images has allowed me to do something while not adding to the tireness. Too much.
The results can be seen here and I also whipped up that little Mokona card at the top of my page *points up*. My inspiration isn't always emo ;p
(Having a "Good Luck/Encouragement" category would be nice but I suppose they don't fit in too badly in "Inspirational" *shrugs*)
Aside from adding onto the e-cards I've also been listening to the podcasts (shame on me for waiting so long) and it's slightly bothersome to scroll through the archives for them. A separate hub for podcasts would be spangly :3
Oh yeah, why can't I find episode 20? Seriously? I must've gone back and forth 10 times but can only find 19 and then 21. It mystifies me.
Ichigo has earned himself another rabid fan now, haha. Out of the three I just think he's got the nicest voice. Though Batou contributes nicely with content. Chigo is definitely a mascot/monkey of the group. So as a team they work really well, kinda like Ouran Host Club XP
I'd like to take a moment now to give a little shout out to Katana, Sangome Wilder + TimberWolf for the enjoyable attention-whoring we had in the comment box ;p
I throw mahoosive love at Evil! Mad luffles to you ;3
And Kei, you're still very awesome. Remember that!
Shanny, thanks for making me aware of Eragon. It looks drooly!
To anyone else I don't mention .... you still love my lazy ass, ne? X3
Beckles: It baffles me to this day that you don't have more awards >:O You totally won me over the instant I read your first poem!
MC: -^_^- Awww, well when you put it like that *gives you a basket full of cookies out of the oven* :D
Mistee05: Thank you for that wonderful comment and Guestbook entry! I shall make my way over to your place for a return signage, promise ^_^
As for how I made my feet sparkly ... I let them get dirty and then scrubbed them with soap, got rid off any excess skin and rubbed my clean feet up with lotion. Afterwards I thought they sparkled in comparison to how they looked before the clean-up ^^;
Pex: *laughs* You need to advertise yourself more! Club people over the head, that'll alert them to your presence :p
Sarah: Mmmm, pampering yourself is the best. Having someone else pamper you would be even better but we deal with what we have *nods and hugs*
I woke up way too late today to get everything done that I had planned. So no saucy pictures were taken, sadly. Maybe tomorrow I'll wake up at a decent enough hour and thusly have the time :)
Found out (shortly after waking up) that I'd not won the "Last Exile" competition. In fact, I didn't even place among the top 5. This bummed me out quite a bit since it means I don't have enough talent in writing, either. My last hope, crushed! ;____;
Meant to do an update earlier, in which I would mope and bitch about how being nice isn't a talent.
BUT!
Then I exercised a little, had a shower, fixed my feet (they sparkle!) while watching "Whisper of the heart" (<3) and afterwards I ate yummy bread that dad had been nice enough to buy.
Poof! Emoness gone :D
Shabam: *glomps* Thanks for you-know-what ;) And I guess I should try to check this trilogy out, ne?
Schultz: Whew, buddies unite! Pleaze take pictures of any snow people you happen to create this winter, ok? :D
Shimmy-Loo: Indeed it is! Kinda like you :D
Sarah: All secrets lie hidden within book stores, I notice ~_^ You'd make a sexy bunny!
Kei: *giggles* Oolong's got some competition here, indeed.
(Good to know you've got my back covered, so to speak XD)
Shaow: <-- *intentional* Shaow just sounds cool and you're cool, so hey presto! :D
Maybe I'm elitist like that but hearing Naruto pronounced differently than how the Japanese say it ... well, it makes the bunny and me cry ;_;
Evil: XD!!! I'll be sure to show you my 'raunchy' photos. And there will be some "nudity", just to please my lovely female friends ;D
John: If you listen to the podcast you'll know which is the wrong way to say it >.> *laughs* You should do a voice recording and demonstrate how you say it :o
Liam: The manga taunts me but so far I've resisted its pull. All these fillers have really tried my willpower, though. And hearing my sister/everyone else saying how ace the manga is makes me want to get right on it. So why don't I? Because I still kinda enjoy the anime for what it is and don't want to compare the two ^^;
*spanks OB for running away from the splendor of OPM*
