   A storm brews and it's not Bohemian

A pretty intense storm drew in during the night, keeping me awake for most of it* worrying the windows would explode >.>; They'd warned about the upcoming weather on telly/in the papers but it's one thing to be told it's gonna blow and another to hear the winds rip into the house O.o;

* The only reason I know for sure there was sleep going on is because the one deliciously vivid dream of absolute wonderfulness I experienced kept replaying in my mind while trying to fall asleep again. MmmmmMmmmm, purrilicious =_^_= <- upside-down flushed smiley of satisfaction

But yes. Throughout the night and into the morning there were lots of wind and huge gusts of dive-bomb winds. During breakfast I saw debris flying, mainly this material which I cannot find a word for in my English dictionary... *googles* Styrofoam? Why didn't I know that word *furrows brow* It's not like it hasn't been dropped a million times in documentaries about scale models used for movies. Strange.

Ok, so a lot of styrofoam was flying by. Some got stuck in our poor hedge plants.
I didn't bother going out to save them since new debris kept coming in constantly. Seeing how fast these blocks of foamyness flew by my additional thought were that they could be nasty to get in the head. Then one of our neighbours came knocking, telling us that most of the styrofoam had broken loose from a prepped foundation nearby .... and in these were sharp nails with fish hook-like ends that, in these winds, could easily pierce though bodyparts and get stuck (unless they went straight through).....

O_________________________________________O

The first thing that went through my mind was to forewarn my sister who was coming over. Followed closely in second was 'stoooooopid people'. This storm had been sufficiently covered on newscasts and in the papers a couple of days ahead. As it drew nearer the public was even cautioned not to go out unless necessary and I'm assuming the advise to tie things up, in order to reduce damage, was given too. Even if that's not the case I imagine/hope/expect people to make use of their common sense.

A building contractor really should know well enough to make sure his site was secured. The flying styrofoam of desctruction suggests it wasn't. Further more I am of the opinion that in these situations you keep on standby even if it is the weekend; you either check up on the foundation or keep yourself available if others try to contact you about the havoc your site is causing. Augh.

As of now, 10 in the evening, there are still strong winds blowing. And my ability to think clearly seems to be going along for the ride. I've rewritten and revised the last part of the above paragraph for what seems like 10 times but can't wrap it up neatly for the life of me, haha. I hope it make sense now *rubs eyes*

Arrr, a sneaky cold decided to take advantage of my weakened state today but my hope is it'll be gone quickly with sleep and light medication *nod nod*

TeeCee: *amused grin* You'd make an adorable pokémon =) And thank you for the wallpaper compliment!

Ichigo: Wow, really? =^_^= That makes me all kinds of happy and pleasantly surprised. Was it the whimsical that sold it? lol *smooooch*

Swishyoo: When I saw your name just now I couldn't help but think of Hamtaro and the sound they make when they're cleaning their faces *squeees* At least in the German dub ^^; Thank you! :3

   The things I put you guys through

Brace yourselves for the spectacularly low-key unveiling of the dun-dun-duuun: "Craptacularistic Watermark - Wallpaper of Doom©"!!!!

What you're about to see is what happens when my mind goes too far with a simple idea. It will be cluttered, like always. There will be distress to the eyes, assuredly. But hopefully there'll be plenty of chuckles or giggles, too! :D

Without further ado, Its Grace! /sound of trumpets and the option to bow goes here

It was rather tricky to make the characters stand out but not take too much focus away from the Craptacularistic watermark of Doom©. Which is no longer a watermark ... but I digress xD Maybe if my monitor was a widescreen things'd look neateras I'd be able to see the whole thing at once without zooming out. Then again maybe not, haha.

The other wallpaper I've mentioned working on, featuring Abairai Renji (from Bleach), is finished and spawned into an 'alternative' version as well. It's what happens when I can't get the background collaborating with everything else in the wallpaper and thus I end up with two backgrounds that bug me ¬¬

Having dug a trench I don't like to linger on the subject of digging holes, though. *canned laughter and people taken to the ER for choking on popcorn*

That is all for today :D

TeeCee: I choose you! Podcastboys dreaming is the way to go 8-3

Molltoose: Release your Blast of Terror! I am madly fond of you in that loving kind of way :3

Beckaloons: :oooo!!!!! Can I hear a "ka-ching"? x3

   I just love bouncing about with energy even if I sit completely still ^___^

Sweetface Ichigo: Thank you! *giggles* Looks like that watermark became an entity of its own *shuffle whistle dance grin*

Space continuum Hunter: You may join me in my 'hate my dad because he can fall asleep anywhere within 5 minutes or less' club -.- I'm intrigued by people who can fall asleep in front of the telly, ya know. Even if there's a really lame/boring show on I simply cannot ignore it. Mom, on the other hand, frequently falls asleep on the sofa with the tv going *scratches head*

Pikaschültz: *grins like a wilder beast tripping on Red Bull* The Dark Side is strong with me tonight!!! And it's Pokémon-crazed, it seems xD

Azure: *bluuuuuuuuuush* Wow, I'm surprised you like it that much. And honored, of course! You're more than welcome to have the original... unless the watermark of doom is what sold it to you xP

Molly: Watch this piece of internet space with a mildly anticipated enthusiasm for the next couple of days. I'm hoping to have a little something-something up for everyone to enjoy soon ~_^

Alexapagos: Working on the wallpaper brought out the inner geek in me ;__;
Not that it's ever hidden but it feels too inferior to come out too often, lol.

Beckasmic: I'll cheer you on for getting some Japan-based studying! You'll need a cattle prod for staving off the massive doting fanbase that'll inevitably grow around you ;3

.... Oh, right, I was going to write something besides replies to comments *falls over laughing* Energy and love mixed together makes for an amazingly trippy concoction. With this body I don't need alcohol or drugs! xD

So what was it that was on my mind? .... Nothing really. Funnily enough I spent most of today being angry over looking *stops in her track* Wait! No. I'm way too bubbly to write something negative. Especially since I should will be in bed shortly, getting a good night's sleep.

Oh! That reminds me. I love dreams where the podcast boys and I are hanging out *giggle* They're always vividly packed with fun-filled wacky greatness. Sometimes it's just one of them joining me, at times all three are present. No matter the number, though, I wake up with a silly smile on my face :3

I love you all!!! .... even when the bubbles are gone!! lolz <3;

Last year (lolsies) I had this idea for a wallpaper in the size 1920*1200 to give away to a certain person with that resolution. Ultimately it didn't meet my expectations and was filed away. With the announcement of making widescreen sizes available here at theO I decided to give it another go, starting from scratch, using only one key element from the "scrapped" material.

Mostly because I didn't have the layers saved (didn't think it necessary due to bad results) and in hopes of making it slightly better than the original ^^; Being the nit-picking plonker that I am it took quite more effort this time. Funny thing is I only really got stuck on the simplest aspect of the whole thing: wording. It's hard to be sententious when, ordinarily, you're not used to being restricted with space.

Once that kink has been worked on beyond reason *cough* it was pretty smooth sailing. At times it saddened me that I have only cutting and pasting to resort to when it comes to artistic ventures (not possessing the artistic talent to free-hand anything) but the process makes me happy enough to not care too deeply :p

Something that struck me in the middle of this project was how tricky it is to manage clutter so it doesn't look unbalanced and at the same time make sure it doesn't look too .... thought out. Alongside that particular issue can be added perspective, scale, shading, etc. Though I tried to some degree to make it appear somewhat proportional and whatever (failing miserably) >.>

(The wallpaper's layers are still pretty workable if anyone wants to give me pointers!)

In the end I overlooked on tiny detail. The new wallpaper sizes aren't operational yet xD Ah well, it's done and I can start pondering an eventual work on the follow-up wallpaper =)

Mecha Tiser: Ok, this one's lame *hides* My brain just thought it was funny that you had Mecha nestled inside your name ^^;

Speaking of sleep, I've burnt this compilation cd with soothing songs that I put on if sleep's not settling in. Is that trick something that you could be helped by?

Pika-Schü: Dad recommended it first but the fact that a kid in his school had shown it to him scared me off watching it >.> Then an acquaintance told me it was good and hey pesto :p

Becky-Boo: :O!!! You're going to Japan again? When, how, where, what, why, etc? *bounces on chair* Smooch on you, by the way :3

Evilexa: I feel loved ;____; *glomps madly* And it must be reiterated what everyone else has said: your poems are fantabulous, my dearest <3

Sarahstical: That would leave me sleepless for a while O_O; Hey, if you were in a zombie movie, would you want to be one of the survivors or a zombie or a victim of a zombie attack? :o

I bet everyone's already seen this video

- I experienced a serious loss of energy for a couple of days, which scared mom, but knowing it'd blow over I simply slept it out. Worked a charm :)

- It's almost strange to see Naruto on a tv-screen.... but it makes that 20-ish minute work-out fly by. Now I won't have to decide between movies/watching movies in segments! :D

- Reading about how James (aka SomeGuy) is job hunting and then reflecting on my own job-hunting journey makes me seriously ponder the idea if Ichigo would mind taking me on as his house-wife when he goes to Japan. Too bad he's so self-sufficient and perfectly capable of handling everything on his own (andcouldeasilyfindsomeonewaybetterthanme) :-/

- I think it's time to lay off the romance animes ... once I'm through with the ones already downloaded, ehum. Too much heart-fluttery and friskiness ensuing due to them. Which is something I have enough of already, thank you very much =.=

Ichigo: :3 *purr*

James: Nice dancing around the issue xP And hey if there's any other subjects you'd like for me to expand on, feel free to suggest some :D

Clock-Stalker: Please excuse me as I practice making up new names for you >.>; We're throwing a party for my sister in a couple weeks, to celebrate her ^^

Shaow: Eeeee, that dream sounds like fun!
As long as there are no dangerous animals around (like... cows) I'd love to go on one in the future :)

Schultz: I think Adam stole it from us to be able to keep on top of all his work :-x Lovin' the new nickname, by the way.

Molly: Good salespeople are hard to come by, indeed. Almost as hard as good men. Unless one hangs out here where there's an abundance of pretty decent guys xD

Sarah: That's frustrating to go through, argh. You wanna be Boobloose eh? *chuckles*

Kei: :D I vital organ you too! .... O.o; Meow.

They are not that big.... are they?

Azure: Well, the room isn't quite finished yet so I'll hold off on posting them >.>

As for describing a reversed sit-up... you ... lay on your back ... and .... keep your head slightly off the ground ... pull up your knees towards your stomach, all the while crunching as much as you can. I really suck at explaining stuff like this so SomeGuy should probably take care of this bit ^_^;;;

TeeSee: Handicrafting for the win! It's a shame tinkering costs slightly too much, though. And keep warm, you! Put on extra socks and pull a cap over your head :3

Shaow: Do not speak badly of the gift! I love the little thing and that is that :p

Shültzee: Finding energy is hard, generating it equally so. Thankfully I'll have outbursts of bounciness to keep me going =0

Slick: I hates them >_____> But they work better than regular ones, le sigh.

Haha, mom suggested the same thing (that I keep them all for display) but then she was pretty easily persuaded to pick her favourite ;p

Molly: If it has any over after showering you with good stuffs, I'll be sure to soak it up ;D

Beckles: Eeeeee!! :3 It's good to be more active around here, that's for sure. I'm eagerly awaiting more news on you and your writing, too >.>; (*loved the latest chapter*)

Shabam: "I do it all the time, and with things I probably shouldn't heh." LOL, that's just awesome! ^__^ Care to share more information? Mwuahaha.

Yesterday I was on a hunt for bras. Real bras. My objective was to find comfortable ones that aren't too expensive but works better than those I've had for the past couple years, which shouldn't be too hard. Or so I thought. Because this time around my approach would be different.

Instead of looking at the tags and thinking "they're probably the right size" I was going to put in the effort to try everything on before even considering a purchase! Me oh my.

The first problem was finding my size. They were stocked up pretty good up to the size just below mine and then it got very dry. Personally I don't think my boobs are that big but you'd have to ask someone who's seen me to verify that. SomeGuy? Care to jump in with an opinion? xD

In the end my loot was poor. Just the one bra. Not satisfactory at all! So after running some errands I managed to bum a ride from dad to another store while he looked for something else elsewhere.

It didn't look much better there, though. I must've strolled back and forth about 5 times before finding 4 bras to try on, of which 1 fit great and the other was ok. Feeling slightly better than miserable I exited the fitting room but before heading to the cashier I decided to ask one of the employees about their stock.

This is where the happy end began! She said they didn't have more of the ones I was going to buy but pointed me to one that was on a close-by rack and then she was nice enough to go look elsewhere in the store for me. All in all she scrounged up 3 bras that turned out to fit perfectly, plus two of them were on sale! Wheeeeee! That made a grand total of 5 bras =O~

And yes. I've spent way too much space writing about my adventure in finding bras. But it's so hard to acquire clothes of any kind that it made me excited enough to want to share it with you all <:3

Other great news is learning my oldest sister went on a job interview yesterday and was hired today O.o They really did need someone fast, lol. She's a teacher but apparently didn't have one last credential that was required and was thusly forced to devote a year and a half to get it. These last couple of months have been ridiculously hard on her, doing internships and studying and working on a big essay at the same time while working with delivering papers in the mornings and trying to have a little bit of a social life whenever she could squeeze it in =.=´

But now she's done and her future looks more secure. I'm happy for her ^_^

Ichigo, snugglepuffs to you :3
Just because.

*raspberry* Whoops, I forgot to put in photos X-)

@everyone: I love and adore you all to the point where I risk stepping into being jealous of you wonderful peeps :p

And just as I was about to start typing up this post ... my brain froze, asking if there really was anything to write about. Mhm. My brain has become sentient enough to efficiently thwart any attempt to utilize its power sources. Maybe if I start taking math class I can scare it into submission....

*quickly copies and pastes into Word in case the ‘net decides to eat it or the power fizzyhits out again*

Sooooooo! Let’s see if we can get this post started without any more delays or side-stepping. Shouldn’t be hard enough as it’s been a slow couple of weeks.

My younger sister came home when her school let out for the holidays so we worked diligently together to see the remaining episodes of Yakitate Japan. Her favourite character ended up being Kawachi, hehehe. Kuro-yan & Pierrot for me!

Other things we did: play Bubble Bobble, tinker with pearl-beads* (?) and generally hang out. She’s been working real hard on her course so it was a much needed break for her =)

All that tinkering we did woke up my creative monster so now it demands me to indulge it as much as possible. Not much comes out of it but it’s nice to just …. tinker**. Though I’ve managed to steer away from that one project I began on too long ago, despite actually wanting to finish it >.> Instead my attention is diverted to playing with those pearl-beads, plotting more jewellery stuffs and trying to get around to make a particular design on one of the badges I purchased along with all the other tinkering items. So much to do, so much indecision.

What else….

My hair is now more unified in its colour. After irking herself over the differences in shades, mom urged me to buy some hair dye and that was that. I’d share a photo if it weren’t for my hair needing a wash. The fact that I am frustrated about my appearance also doesn’t help. Ever since my last post I’ve been doing really good with my reversed sit-ups every night, hopping on the treadwalking mill (lolz) every other night and was starting to see results! But then I tried out this new candy and my sister stayed in the room with the machine….. Yeah. The sit-ups I still do, it’s just the more active moving that hasn’t been fulfilled/followed through.

But now the sister’s gone home and my energy is somewhat more reliable! While I might not be able to completely resist the lure of the chocolate-candy I’ll at least do more of an effort in working it off ^_^;;;

SomeGuy was incredibly superb by sending me a spiffy Totoro plushie along with the perfect card! Much singing of the theme song followed >.> And everyone in the family loved the beautiful chopsticks he asked me to pass along, lol. Mom – orange, younger sis – Gold (she exclaimed “I like gooooold” as well XD), oldest sis – fuschia/pink, me – red and dark blue. Dad was thankful but noted I’d enjoy it more than him, thus I have two (mwuahaha), and the third sister gets the light blue pair when she’s back from her trip to Thailand/other asian countries. Love to you, Slick!

Darling Shaow also sent me the sweetest little moose/elk that she’d made herself ;_____; It makes me squeee whenever I look at it :3 Thank you for that and the letter!

TimeChaser gets one bear hug in return for sending some love my way and another one to help kick that persistent sickness *rawr*

Last, but not at all least, Ichigo gets snuggles. Lots and lots of snuggles. And an Eskimo kiss :^)

Empty brain!
*runs off to work out before laziness strikes*

*

Have I shown my room? I can't remember ^^;

Sorting through and filing away

Thank you ever so much for your continuous strengthening support during my troubled times. You're all in my heart/thoughts even if I can't be here right now to internetically support you.

Why can't I have more consistant happiness?

I had almost two really good days in a row until dinner time today when I said something along the lines of how interesting it would be to film mom and dad's communication which mom misinterpreted to be an accusation towards her because of how things are between my parents due to their many years of marriage and I don't want to cry about this situation but it's been so incredibly retarded how long this has been going on so to be branded a traitor (my word, not hers) hurts like a thousand explicit words. I see how they talk, the way they talk, how quick they are to jump at every chance of an opening they get, even if it's not even there. I know mom has had to put up with a lot of bull from dad in their marriage and she feels extra protective BUT THAT'S NOT MY FAULT nor should I be clumped together with that. For goodness sakes, how many times haven't I tried to stand up for her or play mediator or interpretor whenever their talks being to go awry. My "loyalty" should not be questioned. It's enough that their arguments have gone out on us kids and affected us permanently but just don't put me next to dad because I have not deserved that.

If I truly was like dad to her, I wouldn't still be here in the first place.

   Listening through Shaow's imeem list I was immediately enamored with some of the tracks on it, among those an artist called Yiruma. After scouting Swedish online music stores* absolutely nothing with Yiruma could be found. Great sadness ensued. Would this mean I'd have no luck finding the other item?

Much to my surprise there were three albums by Vienna Teng available-ish. 'Dreaming through the noise' had "Nothing without you" on it and was offered at roughly ½ price. What kept me from bouncing in anticipation was the word "Backlogged", which can mean two things: 1) Hang in there, it might get to you one day! 2) Your foolish hopes and wishes taste like creme bruléed babies >:D

This time I got lucky. It arrived in the mail earlier this week and has been firmly planted in my stereo. The album is wonderful. So thank you Shaow for introducing me to new music that fill my heart with love.

Now if only I could get my hands on the "K-PAX " soundtrack........

* I think it'd be a bad idea to get a VISA, considering how tempted I'd be to buy way too much. Then again, it's a pain when Swedish stores don't carry what you're looking for :-/

Where be the loversome Podcast Boys? I was so happy to hear them more cheerful last week (on both shows) and today I don't even see any mention on where their releases have gone/will be due ;__;

Itsygoooooooo! :3 I was beginning to worry you'd been abducted by a sexy-amazon-women tribe and crowned their .. uhm ... leisure chief. *cough* Hmm, that'll probably happen in the nearby future which means I should hurry up with concocting a plan to steal your pants pronto. There's no way I could compete with a SAW tribe, after all, so I gotta secure me a keep-sake before then.
