Slowly suffocating
^what I told mom when she asked how I felt ._.
It looks like this isn't a panic/anxiety spell, but rather a nasty case of the flu. *pauses* They've changed the wrapping on Twix again?!? *resumes* At times it feels like I'll cough up my lungs, despite the lack of phlegm.
Today was easier in the sense that I knew what to expect. So while things haven't improved, they haven't gotten that much worse either. Now if only I could transform the love and care you people radiate, into an elixir! That'd fix me up in no time *snuffles you all*

114 smilies
Sorry, no comments on comments today.
Everything was fine this morning. At least until an hour after breakfast. My throat started to hurt. Not in a scratchy kind of way but it felt bruised/strained. Then I noticed how frighteningly shallow my breathing was.
Trying to deep breathe didn't help, rather, it made things worse by pushing me close to fainting O.o
I told mom, went to bed and hoped it'd go away. No such luck. So I popped an Attarax (anti-anxiety pill), which did the trick. For 4 hours, lol. Since it wore off I haven't spoken much, since it only makes my throat cramp up more.
This is most likely some sort of anxiety/stress attack because I recognize these symptoms (heavy/tight chest, "I'm suffocating!", feeling calm otherwise) from my last big attack.
Going through it is scary but hopefully it won't last longer than today :-\ |

83 smileys
As commanded by Pyro, I take (rather gladly) this.
Four movies you would watch over and over:
Pride and Prejudice (BBC)
Last Samurai
Don't say a word
2 week's notice
Four places you have lived:
Vara
- (Soon to be Skövde!)
-
-
Four tv shows you love to watch:
Lost
Gilmore Girls
What not to wear
American Choppers
Four places you have been on vacation:
Iceland
England
Denmark
Vienna
Four websites you visit daily
MyOtaku
Crappy Club for Jerks
Webcomics (CYS, T&P, Catharsis)
DeviantArt
Four of your favourite foods:
Meatballs, taters and gravy
Homemade pizza
Waffles
Chocolate
Four places you would rather be right now:
England
Bed
Australia (suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunshine /stereotype)
Skövde? Come on, let's get this moving malarky over and done with.
Five weird things about you
1. I don't eat vegetables (excepting cucumber) or fruit (excepting lemonade/juice, candy).
2. It bugs me when doors are halfclosed/halfopened. Fully opened is fine.
3. Trying to swallow even a tiny pill is a bit of a nightmare for me (it has gotten better over the years), though swallowing a big chunk of bread takes no effort.
4. Violence/gore on screen doesn't usually bother me, but I can't stand/cope seeing news featuring violent evets.
5. Despite claiming there are a million and one ways that make me weird, it was still rather hard to think of 5.
Charlie: I know ~_^
Slick: All the help I've gotten with getting through other tough times have taught me well *hugs*
Becksicle: *grins* Thank you! Keep feeling better, ok? And squeeze in some of your stories into your myo when you can ¬¬
Shimmy-Loo: ^_____^ I'm happy to have your approval, oh Master Movie Buff :3
Sara: *giggles* Hopefully my next set-up (when there is one) won't be as frightening. Or at least not in the scary sense :p
Liam: *laughs* Well, there's a fine line between being a psycho and psychic. Ok not really, but it spells very similar XP
Evil: XD!!! That's a word to add to the dictionary, for sure. *glomps* Much love to you :3
Pyro: The reason why these images amuse me is most likely because I've not seen the movie/read the book. I'd like to keep it that way >>;;;; *hugs* |

I'm done with being angry, for now :]
Besides, how can you be angry when you're greeted here by a picture of mr Psycho Bale? I mean, look at it, that's one hilarious photo.
Evil: I'm sure annoying objects get quite the odd nicknames when you're on a roll, eh? ;p
Bossyness: *huggles* As soon as I get on AIM, and you've got time, we'll need to fire up a game of Literati :3
Charlie: *lines up the hobo midgets*
Sarah: BAM! By the by, you've probably seen this place but I thought about you so, yeah ^_^
Liam: Haha, don't worry. Your nads are quite safe. What with that entire bit of earth between us :p
Pyro: *hugs* I feel like I should slip you a £20 or something. Totally innocent!!!, of course.
Shanny: You're not useless at all *snuffles* Empathy is always a great comfort, much like you =) |

It's 1.50am, I'm wide awake and angry. No. Make that furious. Kicking something (inanimate) or throwing items that break easily, would feel great right about now. At least I keep telling myself that, despite knowing it would do absolutely nothing. Screaming isn't my thing. Just thinking about it makes my throat cramp up.
But there's so much anger inside me, frustration clawing to get out, annoyances that keep prodding me to take some kind of action. So it's probably hard to imagine that I'm sitting in front of my computer looking quite calm as this is being typed.
Things that are brushed aside doesn't disappear, they get sorted, categorized, stored. For each time you flare up over one thing, all the other ones come charging. Like each single infuriating incident/situation was a domino piece, which has been placed alongside the rest in a neat row, and once one falls over ... it knocks everything else down.

Default
Ok, before going any further it should be said that I don't mind "Love Hina". Watching Keito (?) get into risque situations with the girls from the house can inspire some giggles from me.
However. In last issue of the manga magazine I get sent to me, they introduced a new manga. "Negima" something or the other. What puts me off it is that, when the main character (a young boy) sneezes, he rips/tears off not only the outer clothing of a teenage girl, but also her underwear. To smithereens. At one point this happens in front of a male adult (whom she just happens to have a crush on). I can't laugh at that. It's just distasteful to me. Feel free to throw about the "prude" word or whatever.
*wipes away the image of a raging old lady, shaking her spiked walking cane, off of the black board and replaces it with a non-descript face that looks unimpressed*
Not tearing my hair out over it, but seeing Love Hina being replaced by something like that is a little bit disheartening *shrugs*

Whilst I was having breakfast yesterday, my mom came home from getting her hair cut and began telling me something that had happened. The way she started off made me think she'd either been hit by a car or seen someone else being hit by one. Luckily that wasn't the case.
Though she was injured. A patch of ice hadn't been sanded over and a thin layer of snow dust had settled over it. She slipped forward, fell fast and landed hard on the ground. Both of her hands got the full impact, while her knees got the rest.
At first she was in shock so the pain wasn't too bad. By the time she got home an hour later, it had gotten worse, her right hand pretty much immobalized.
Unfortunately I had an appointment with my homeopath, which was impossible to cancel, so I did whatever could be done before heading out with quite the guilt trip for company. It didn't feel right at all to leave her alone, worrying about something happening with no one nearby. But she insisted I go. To make up for it I bought some goodies and pampered her for the rest of the day.
Though only after she promised to go have it x-rayed! Dad took her and after a loooooong wait for getting the x-ray, along with an equally long wait for a doctor to give her the results, they told her that it didn't look fractured. Said informant wasn't as trained as the doctor who's usually there (during work hours) so they said she'd be notified if he thought otherwise.
Her right hand was sprained, though, so she got it wrapped up by a nurse and cautioned to take it easy for a week or so. Mom, being the optimist, thought that it'd feel better - given a day or two of resting - and figured she wouldn't have to call in sick for the job that demands her body to be in perfect order (due to heavy lifts and other physical labour) to be able to work.
Her body sent a loud and clear message today, which did the trick more than the protests from both dad and I.
Other than causing pain and being a general nuisance for mom, the injury did sport a problem regarding today. She was meant to be going with my younger sister to a doctor but it would've been a real hassle with the busses and such for her on her own. Cue Mimms the Assistant Hero! Casting aside the feeling of being worn out to the point where it's difficult to stay awake, I went along and made it as smooth as possible for her. It was the least I could do, short of making the pain go away. Which obviously isn't in my power.
Aside from getting to see Juliette and Eleine, there was also some shopping thrown in the mix :p
Now we're home, safe, sound and very tired. So I'll talk about "The Island" tomorrow. I'll probably have seen one or two more movies by then that can be added. Ah the perks still in play from having worked at the video store. It means you can put the cost of the rental on your "tab" and pay later, without feeling any embarrassement for neglecting to take your wallet with you and still rent two movies you can't wait until tomorrow for =]
Blackjack: Hearing people's theories about anything is interesting, until you notice just how much effort they've put into it and that glazed over look in their eyes >>
Poor Angelina isn't getting any love from us. She'll have to settle with Brad's.
Evil: >:o You're gorgeous and that's that. *takes your money and burns it on cows*
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Ewan is always enjoyable =)
John: *coughinbreedingcough*
Alan: OOoooooo, now that's a sweet idea. I like it better than the one that guy presented >>
Liam: *laughs* It gives them something to do, I suppose. Much like getting lost in activities such as video games or tinkering in image programs ¬¬;;;;
Charlie: XD!!!!!!!!!!! That's really all I can say on the matter =)
Slick: :o Tell me more about these "Sharp movies" you speak of, pwease? And if you know of any other [good] movies he's in, share! I need to expand my Sean Bean repertoir :3
Becksicle: But why would it be editted for --- *thinks back to the highway chase and purrs* --- uhm, it sucks when they do that =(
*skips after to steal huggles*!
Sara: Mhm. He's one fine scape goat. Ignoring the fact that he's already got a real name and an online nickname, we need to name his scape goat persona. Any good ideas? |

Linky day
Shimmy-Lee: Very nice selection of ladies *notes down a few she hadn't thought of* Hehe, Jolie tends to do the fish mouth in a lot of photos, I've noticed.
Becksicle: Fantastic choices *claps* And it looks like your wellwishes with my Literati prowess helped :o I made a lot of cheap moves last night xp
Pyro: Kim Basinger definitely is a looker for her age *nods* Have you seen "Final Call" or maybe it's called "Cellular" in English? I doubt it, since it doesn't strike me as being something you'd be interested in ^_^; She looked great in it, though.
Blackjack: "... maybe it's because they all pale in comparison to a certain someone ^_-" <-- I'm guessing you're talking about your girlfriend?????
But yeah, "normal" people can oftentimes be even more beautiful than the Hollywood stars. And since personality plays a part in how attractive someone can be (at least for me), it's easier to get a better feel with everyday people =)
Azure: *dies laughing* If you're trying to wind me up, nyah! Didn't work :p
Evil: Oh my. You are one of those "normal" people that are so gorgeous that it's hard to grasp why you're not stalked by papparazzi. Or at least the local newspaper. But then again, I'm glad you're not. It can't be much fun =(
Hilarous photo manipulations
Spacey site with great pictures *nudges Pyro*
Theory on Anakin's father <-- It's the first time I've come across that idea (not that it's ever been on my mind in the first place) and it'd be interesting to hear what those who are more familiar with that whole universe thinks of it.
Uhm. Mimmi has been lazy with commenting on people's blogs. Sowwy about that. I blame Shy >>
Plans for tonight: watch "The Island" on the premise that SEAN BEAN, Ewan McGregor and Scarlet Johansson are all in it. Sometimes being superficial about movies is a blessing. I can watch more than twice as many movies as those who put intellectual thought/reasoning behind their choices =D |

Eyesore
Shabam: ^_^ It seems that's the one that worked best and it was the first one I made. It all went downhill after that ;p
Evil: =D The pictures I found was all very diverse so it was hard to find a full set that "matched", hehe.
Sara: *wipes sweat from brow* Maybe you'll get your wish ;o
Shy: Your approval is greedily embraced =)
Slick: Wowsers, that is a coincidence :o *nudges him to watch some Disney flicks*
Shimmy-Loo: ^_^; Trust me to do something so silly!
Pyro: Haha, now that I think about it ... it sure is a weird mix. Let's call me controversial and pretend it was designed that way ~_^;
Liam: You lovely bastard, you.
Becksicle: !!! *glomps the chocolate and Becky*
Shabam: *blushes and spins on chair* ^_^
Evil: Rawr, Me Mimmi - You Evil :3
Charlie: You're disturbingly funny :p
Badness: I am not worthy *bows and polishes your toenails*
Short post! Huzzah! Yay!
I've lost 3 Literati matches in a row, to different people. What does that make me? Not invincible =D So there you have it, folks. Mimmi might have long winning streaks but she does lose!
Request: Name some hollywood females that are good looking, in your opinion. |

Sean Bean has tasty lips
Pyro: Very true. It could be that the ones I/we think are ugly can be gorgeous in the eyes of another person. Which makes things even more weird, though in a funny way :p
Evil: Let's do our best to boost genuinely beautiful people's egos! *admires your muscles*
Liam: Ay, ay! You have such an endearing smile :3
Blackjack: *grins with a pair of pants wrapped over her shoulders* Hrm.
I totally don't agree with stereotyping cheerleaders simply because of what they do. After all, there are those who are the stereotypically looking chearleaders (busty blondes) and are really sweet people with an equally humble personality. That's something you can't see on the outside, so to judge someone on their appearance is just stupid =)
Sara: You're delightful, which is one of many layers of attractiveness :3 Don't you forget it, either!
Had my blood drawn today and it was a breeze. The needle went in, boom bam, 1 minute later I was done =D Hopefully the nurses in the town we're leaving to are just as good as the ones here ^_^;
Becksicle had her wisdom teeth drawn,
so go give her some sweet loving <3
Here are the wallpapers I made for Pyro to choose from. Fight Club and LA Confidential are the ones that worked out best *strokes her stock of pictures and purrs* Props to Pyro for the fab LA Confidential banner in the middle of that wallpaper!
