I will not take actions for my responsibilities
This (1790 Kronor for 1GB), This (1994 Kronor for 5GB), or this (1690 Kronor for 2GB)?
I'm basically prodding the people who are 'in the know' about these stuffs to give an opinion on the three choices. Thank yoo =)
Oh, and last night I dreamt Tom Cruise made out with me. Tongues and all.
Sexyness: Yeah, all the ads, 'sign up for this' and the fact that you have to pay for the more 'in depth' analysis is annoying. Still, fun stuffs >>
Suaveness: That comment rocked my world! *snuffles*
Shimmy Shammy: It's not like he got employed or anything, lol. And I'm sure you'd do a lot better than the kid if you were working at a video store ~.^
ShadowLight: Hey there, thanks for stopping by ^_^ Yeah I turned off the guestbook for undisclosed reasons (one of them being my lazyness), hehe. *gives ice-cream as a 'thank you' for the compliments* =)
Panda: *runs after, tackle glomps and takes up residency in Panda's pocket* :*)
Shabam: But I love my bad influences ;-* Without bad there is no innocence, after all *nods matter-of-factly* Love you too, Hunny Bun =D |

Fascinating
Mia-Marlene, your subconscious mind is driven most by Peace
"You are driven by a higher purpose than most people. You have a deeply-rooted desire to facilitate peacefulness in the world. Whether through subtle interactions with love ones, or through getting involved in social causes, it is important to you to influence the world.
You are driven by a desire to encourage others to think about the positive side of things instead of focusing on the negative. The reason your unconscious is consumed by this might stem from an innate fear of war and turmoil. Thus, to avoid that uncomfortable place for you, your unconscious seeks out the peace in your environment.
Usually, the thing that underlies this unconscious drive is a deep respect for humankind. You care about the future of the world, even beyond your own involvement in it. As a result, your personal integrity acts as a surrogate for your deeper drive toward peace and guides you in daily life towards decisions that are respectful toward yourself and others.
Though your unconscious mind is driven most strongly by Peace, there is much more to who you are at your core."
Mia-Marlene, your beauty aura is Natural!
"When it comes to how you present yourself to the world, you strongly believe that keeping things simple — whether it's your relationships, career, or face soap — is the best way to be beautiful. You're satisfied with what nature gave you and aren't afraid to show your confident, unadorned self to the world.
Your beauty routine is all about maintenance. You keep your skin clean, your body moisturized, and add a splash of color to lips and eyes when the situation demands it. Other than that? You feel best looking as fresh as nature intended. In the course of being au naturelle you may sometimes forget to cut loose and have fun. You should feel free to dress up now and then or splurge on a scent. Spoil yourself, now and then, as nature intended."
Mia-Marlene, you're less sinful than the average person.
Still, your sinful tendencies are running just below the surface and could start to affect your choices in life. For example, your sex drive could ultimately be your downfall. Beware of prioritizing sexual experiences and conquests above other things. These kinds of desires alone should not control your life.
Though you're less sinful than others, this, and the sins you scored highest on can still jeopardize the things that are most important to you. Don't let them."

Thanks for all the kind words about my first day at 'work' ^__^ |

Working girl
Worked my first day at the video store today (9 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon) and it was all good. An 11-year old boy, who was very sweet, did his work experience today too so we teamed up and tackled our tasks as a joint force. I might've made him a bit nervous at first with my silly ways, though I reckon he was just shy and after a while we probably could've switched into superhero gear to save the world =P
In short, we got on fine.
Anyway, we had a pretty fun time packing up candy (which took up most of the morning) and cleaning up lightly before getting the hang on how to work the rental + cash register. Aside from using a computer to write up receipts, the system hasn't changed since I was there last (which is a relief) meaning I only had to learn how to work the computer (piece of cake).
It's great to be working and the atmosphere is perfect.
I'm going to enjoy this =) |

Pardon me boy...
To answer Slick's question, my worst enemy would be something along the lines of this:
I'd probably still coo "But he's so adorable" as he thwaps me to a pulp with those flippery things.
So basically, if something's uber-cute looking but is still capable of handing my ass to me on a silver plate, I'm in deep ****. Or if I were to fight a clone of myself. That'd be gruesome *shudders*
This makes me think of Sara =)
Uhm, went for a walk and bought a little booklet that'll help me get back into the swing of playing the recorder. Transverse flutes are expensive unless you buy them second hand, then they're probably a little bit less expensive but still expensive. Did I mention they cost a lot? Oh well, I've got a recorder and dad's old piccolo (I think it was called that) to see how much energy I'm willing to put into the whole instrument dealy =)
.......
I are teh do bee needingness of cuddly-doo. |

Added the quizzes to the quiz page, where they belong =P
Mmm, the house is shaping up. Most of the [big] jobs that needed to be done has been done and there's just some touching up left. At least to my knowledge >>
It's feeling more light and airy now that the dark wood is gone, as well as looking more tidy and fresh /decorating lingo
It feels like my cold is receding because I've yet to have a nap today =D Despite the boredom of resting up, it really does help me to kill off those germs.
Uhm, can't think of anything else to say... Questions? Words to the Literati Square? Suggestions?
Lunai: But it's good to exercise >> I'll go at it slowly though ^.^
John: There are so many fun expressions that should be used more!
Dr Romp: XD Laughter does help. Not always but a lot of the time =)
Hotness: Yeah, they're funky in a not so fun kind of way =\ It might not even be a cold, just a dip in the immune system's strength/vitality?
In any case, I hate when it happens *nods* ... Ok to cry =) |

Snooze button - repeat
Mmm, still floored by this weird cold that doesn't make me cough, snivel or any of the normal stuff. It does, however, make me feel sick, my head spin and leaves me feeling completely drained of energy.
To think I was like this for several months at one time O.o;;
Another reminder of how glad I am to still be alive.
Finally got through to the lady at the grocery store today, so no more stressing about that. There are only a few things I want to take care of and those are itty bitty minor things. Like going to the music store to pick up a tutorial on how to play the recorder (it's been donkeys years since I played, so naturally I recall nothing) and ask how much a transverse flute would cost these days.
Once the pancakes I had for dinner settles there's plans of doing a little working out, though I'm not sure whether that's a good idea or not. Maybe I'll just head straight for the shower and pretend to have done my workout >>
And there was probably other stuff but the lethargy is kicking in again so I'll edit in commentary comments later z_z
*some hours later* O____O
Ok, I give up on trying to understand how my body works. Did my normal workout routine and feel perfectly fine, so yeah. It's nice to get away from the sicklyness, even if it's only for a couple of hours =)
Mouse: That's it! "It builds character", haha.
Sexyness: I hope you're getting enough sleep at home now, young missy ~.^
Shimmy Shammy: XD Those moments are pretty priceless. And hey, "always mess with their minds" >>
Tony: You poor, deprived souls. We'd just turn on the telly and there it was. Though the schools probably bought some tapes so they wouldn't have to adjust the schedule after the times it aired on tv.
Shinji: *gasp* Go to the library at once! I'm sure they'll have a book or two there that you can borrow =) And yes, nicknames are always sexah ... unless they're really crude/ugly >>
John: Oh the violence *fans herself* Hrm. Indeed those tapes were meant to teach people foreign languages, which in my case was English ^.^

Lazy days
Muzzy & Gang
Sexyness: *envy* But then again, you probably don't need the gym as much as I do =P
Clever Pyro: What's annoying though is when dad asks 'do you remember this kid?' and expects me to actually know them, simply because they were in the same school as me at some point, lol. I was very selective with whom I gave a space in my memory >>
Hotness: After thinking about it some more, I think we're talking about two different shows but the one you mentioned is another favourite of mine, hehe. Didn't that girl travel in some really white painted egg or sphere?
The one I was on about, that girl had short red hair (just below the ear) and looked very grumpy/frowning most of the time. Her 'parents' were very whimsical and the dad opened a seafood restaurant at one point (if I remember correctly). She looked around 8-10 years old. *reminisces* Good stuff, hehe.
Suaveness: *giggles* Everyone's entitled to a little skiving now and then ;-)
Badness: *poses* I learn from the best :-* And yes, Man Flesh needs to be capitalized *purrs*
Shimmy Shammy: XD I love what Calvin's dad always say ... but I can't remember what it is in English *kicks brain* Something about character building. He always say it when Calvin doesn't want to do anything or is objecting against something, lol.
MC: Indeed! Let's hope for some goodly re-runs of those classic shows =D *throws her a fluffy pillow* In the meantime, sleep ;p
Mistress: "I like clocks". *points to picture at the beginning of post* Yep, that's Muzzy alright ^.^ |

Have you ever, ever felt like this? When strange things happen, are we going around the Twist?
The subject line is a song from an Australian show, about a family who live in a lighthouse. I wonder if any of the Aussie kids remember that one, hehe. When I grew up there were shows from all over the world on telly we kids looked at. Canada, Germany, Australia (there was one show about a family that came from outer space and their little daughter was a leader on the run or something ... There were a set of parents, the daughter and a younger brother. Of course, since they were from outer space I don't remember if they were a family or just posed as one for the earthlings *shrugs*) and of course England made some really good educational shows. Muzzy!
Oh, and yesterday I decided that if I were to be a super hero(ine), my name would be Sensory Girl/Woman. Cause I'm so sensitive to sight, smell, touch, taste and hearing. Random. Yes.
It feels like I've got a cold or something, because my nap went from 11.30 - 14.30 (roughly 3 hours). I didn't actually sleep the whole time but I couldn't get myself to get out of bed, so I basically laid there in some sort of in between state of being awake and totally out of it, lol. The walk to the gym made me feel drained, heh. (I also feel very dizzy *_*)
But I've got myself a gym card (10 visits) and that's what matters. It's a small gym, nestled into a room right next to the indoors swimming pool. The equipment looks alright though, so hopefully I'll be able to get a more thorough work out there. Otherwise there's always another gym in town to go to.
My parents are amusing, even though they frustrate me. When watching programs about how parents shouldn't drag their kids into arguments, mom's always agreeing fervently. And that's laughable because she does the exact same thing! Just now, as I was preparing dinner, dad came home and joked about how he'd went to the video store to thank the owner for taking me aboard (the owner wasn't in though). I just rolled my eyes but Mom, who sat in the living room, shouted "Don't do that. She's 23 years old and need to show she can deal with things on her own and that would just undermine her" (or something to that effect. She actually said 24 first, hehe.).
Right there she contradicted herself! If dad's comment had annoyed me I would've been able to confront him about it myself, seeing as I'm 23 years old and mature enough to stand up for myself, right? And she (indirectly or directly, I'm not sure) used me as the base of an argument with dad. What he said/did had nothing to do with her but she sure used it to give him a jab.
Oh yeah, after I'd gone to the gym I went to the grocery store to try and find the lady who needs to know that I'm not gonna work there. Instead of circling the entire store I asked a young Man Flesh guy to see if she was around.
This particular guy used to go to school with my younger sister and even as a kid he was cute. He's not a kid anymore and his cuteness has grown into attractiveness. He has especially nice arms.... But as I told Ger/Red, it feels kind of weird to think of him as potential Man Flesh because I knew him as a young boy, so part of me still sees him as my younger sisters classmate, and that sort of makes me feel a bit pedophilifical. Which is kind of stupid since he's only 2½-3 years younger than me and fully legal to 'go after', lol.
Anyway, I'm treating him as eye candy instead of potential Man Flesh. And right now I can't be bothered giving all the reasons for that =P
Slick: Yes, you need to sleep more! Unless you're going for a career as a zombie? O.o
Pyro: =D Thank you! Indeed it is brown *points to box that says 'brown' on it*
Shabam: Color is so much fun and right now my hair has loads of highlights because of the different colors that it had before being dyed =D (Parts were natural blond outgrowth, some of it was reddish and other parts were brown/black.)
Hotness: Hehe, I thought you'd see the fun in that one ;) And yeah, the video store should have me meeting fun folk but I don't think the gym will have much to offer, lol. Thanks for the Uma compliment!
Rustym: Thanks, man 8-)
Annsie: *pounces and gives goodies* Oh man, getting locked out of the car is one step worse *hugs* Good thing you were able to get into it again >>
Slick: *giggles and hugs*
Lunai: Yay for working girls =D And there's no need to keep up with this place, I know you've got plenty of things on your agenda already *hugs* |

New hair color!
Yes, I'm looking rather sleepy. The weather outside is really dull so that had an effect on me, hehe. *is loving the color* _^_
Hm, must call video store and possibly check out the gym. *snores* >>
EDITNESS: Wheee, I just called the video store and it looks like it'll work out =D He was too busy to talk over the phone but I'm going in a bit later today to chat about it in more detail *giddy dance* The gym shall be visited on the way, too. Yesh. Motivation returneth to me! >:D
*****
Q: How bad is Mimmi?
A: Bad enough to get locked out of the house XD
Hehe, for once I decided not to bring my key as I went out, since mom and dad were home. But no! They were both out when I got back! Good thing we've got the sunroom to sit in, lol. It didn't take long for them to come home though. I phoned my younger sister in the meantime and shared the funny situation =P
As for the video store .... I start on Monday and will work 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday & Friday), for a couple of hours each day =D Gotta start slow, ya know? Once I've gotten into it we'll see if they need me for more hours =)
This is all being celebrated right now with me eating chocolate *laughs* And I did swing by the gym but they were closed, hehe. Tomorrow's another day for expeditions too!
Matrix joke XD |

Boobies!
It's funny how your perception changes without you really being conscious of it until you notice the switch has occured. Like yesterday, I felt pretty thin and healthy. Today, I still feel healthy but poofed up. That might've been contributed by the fact that I actually took a good look at myself from a third medium (is it third? I don't know how these saying goes but I'd love to understand them some day >>) and therefore my view was more based on reality than just a state of feeling.
Somehow I manage to look both fit and a total blob O_O Which baffles me, though would explain why I go from being disappointed in myself to bouncing about with the floatiest ego you ever saw - all within a very short period of time =P
I've decided not to view myself as fat now, simply out of shape.
The things that look 'wrong' to me can easily be 'fixed' by a proper workout. And that's why a little reconnoitre to the local gym shall be on the agenda tomorrow! We're not likely to move within the following month so it should be safe to get started and it'll be good to have a routine that I can take with me when we do move. Apparently there's a couple of good gyms in the town we're heading to. The added bonus there will be dragging my younger sister with me and act her personal coach *wicked grin*
The sun is shining, the tank is clean - and I'm peckish now >> |
